1345hrs This was fun. Picked up Travel Bug CGBYMT as it seemed that it might have waited here so long that it might have turned into a vegetable (cabbage). The Italian Job was here......! Our blog www.motorhominginxs.blogspot.com
Started this one earlier in the week, and were glad of a second trip through town to finish it. WP 2 was particularly tragic.
As for the final, as soon as we saw a particular tree we knew we were on the right track!!

Sigh, a day making well overdue logs on trips ages ago. This was one cache of 22 on an Oamaru trip. TFTC!!
TFTC - the only multi we managed to squeeze in on the 2nd Oamaru road trip for the crew.
Finally located cache which was a liitle adrift from the base. +TB White Jeep who needs someone to take for another 'drive'. TFTC

Thanks for a well thought out cache, to remind us of the selflessness of some people… who will make the ultimate sacrifice for others. Very sad to read about their demise. A fitting finale for the final.

Bitsprayer, you can fire this one up again - both plaques are still there, and so is the final. All is well according to me - cache is alive and working. I enjoyed the final location, though I tried to go direct from there to KGP (bad plan!!). Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1410)
can't really remember the exact date, found it when we played hide and seek in that area.
Counting kilometers!

Interesting WPs and took a longer than necessary walk to the cache. Took geocoin and left a girrafe and cacndle.
That was an interesting drive around Oamaru with a final walk at the end. I got sidetracked with the rabbits hopping around near cache site
Found it after several minutes of muggle dodging. Added TB. Just out of interest, was there any fellow geocachers heading there in a white van at around 4:30? Saw them on teh way out, pretty sure a gps was being used. O well thanks for the cache!
Picked up the waypoints in between doing some other caches and then made my way to GZ. A muggle on the nearby seat meant the hint item had to be approached from an unusual angle, but it was still a pretty quick find. (Didn't realise I'd be back in the same spot later in the day gathering info for another cache - planning an optimum path is never easy where multis are invovled!)
246 Found this one with Comradehunt on the "get to 100 and 250th mission" journey.
Heard muggles everywhere, but couldn't see them.
Took TB and left Beaver TB

A poignant cache. Swapped Sunshine Bear TB for Betty E Bunny TB. #13 of 13 caches o this Oamaru urban cache raid.
Whilst I was gathering info at WPT2 I heard a toot and a yell from a passing truck driver. The truck did a Uey and came back to me. It was of course driven by that well known cache placer Bitsprayer. Whilst we talked he gave me the coords, but no other info, for his latest cache published last night. Heh heh heh, with a bit of luck I should be FTF on that one provided the coords proved accurate.

Finished this one off today after finding the waypoints last Saturday. Thanks for an enjoyable multi.

We also did this one in conjunction with "An Angel At My Table", It was great to tour around Oamaru today visiting several historic (and tragic) locations. The view from the final location on this cache was AWESOME! [^] TFTC

1521. This gave us an interesting ride around the town - we did it together with "An Angel at my Table. We have been to most of these place before while geocaching so knew our way about. We found the final cache after dark - but it was OK as we knew our way to this spot - having been on several of the tracks that lead here!
Thanks

My car broke down (flat battery) at the first waypoint for this cache, so I had to ring a friend for assistance.
Great theme for a multi.

It was good to complete this one. There were great views at the final location. Interesting stories required to find the final location. TNLN TFTC.

FTF. Been to the site of the final previously. A cache called "The Life of a Gun" if I recall correctly. Had also read the plaque at WP2 previously having parked near to it when completing another Bitsprayer cache a year or so ago.
