I can replace the way point hide. I am just waiting for something in the mail for it.
We were out and about checking off some caches from our list, this being one of them. Our second for the day, seems we are attracted to finding those caches which are offline, lucky for us, we had already completed the requirements. Cache is in place and ready for the next finder.

May I suggest this cache needs archiving because
1. Super-t Last Visit: Saturday, 16 November **2013**
2. Photos **25 Aug 2015** and **30 April 2016** show WP1 is missing
UNLESS someone knows the co-ordinates of GZ and is prepared to replace the missing BISON tube.
I would do it but I don't know the GZ co-ordinates

When I got to the top I found the muggled waypoint. I checked the web page and the muffling was reported back in Jun/Jul last year.
I noted the recent find log. I then thought where would I hide a cache? I checked a few spots on the way down and did not find a cache. I didn't find a snake either, so I consider it even. I then started to check random spots. I was about to give up when I checked another few spots and saw a cache. Wasn't sure it was the correct cache until I had it out.
I think with a quantity of good luck the cache is findable.

Today was the final day of the holidays and I still hadn't quite made it to my goal of having less than 1000 ACT caches to find. I checked the map again and once again, there was enough in Tuggeranong for me to knock off my goal. I plotted a bit of a route starting in Bonython and ending in Calwell and had enough caches to make it. Even though I had promised a day or two earlier that that was the last caching trip, I still wanted to go out and find these ones. Luckily, my parents agreed but I had to do it quickly to be back before my driving lesson.
The first cache of the day was Elementary my dear Mendeleev which I wanted to collect before being dropped off. I had solved the puzzle when it came out but had not found the cache. I decided to change this today. We parked close by and I jumped out hoping for a quick find but it took much longer than expected to come up with the goods. After that, my dad dropped me off near A Profusion of Parrots and I headed off on my bike. A Profusion of Parrots also took quite a while to find but I eventually came up with the goods.
After that, I found the caches fairly easily until I got to Tuggeranong Stone Wall which also took quite a while to find. I checked up and down the wall and it wasn't until I was about to give up that I noticed the cache. After that, I collected Insert Clever Pun Here and Remember the days .... (with the help of a previous finder) before heading onto Tuggeranong Hill. Tuggeranong Hill was just as unfriendly as I remembered from my previous trip here and it wasn't easy going up some of the hills. I really enjoyed Padlocked! though.
I finished my ride on Tuggeranong Hill at Geokid Marble Exchange and then headed down to Harry the Ranga and onto Pink Grapefruit, Rainbow Way and Under Pressure. After that, I headed off to do McCarter and then find the GZ of Metal It Up, as I had done the waypoints a while ago and DNFd GZ. After that, it was smooth sailing to Gnome Alone and then finishing with some of the "It Up" series I hadn't gotten to last time. I met my dad at Calwell shops and we headed off to do Chris's HEAD CACHE, after getting something to drink, to bring up my 2800 find!
Thank you to all the COs who hid caches and apologies for the generic logs!

I wish I had read the previous logs and seen the DNFs. The bottom half of the bison tube and the log is missing; only the lid is still attached. See photograph. This needs owner attention.
Found wp1 however missing half the container and all contents... Could not complete cache
Found the top of the micro at the original in place, the bottom is missing in action. Had a look around and can't find. Looks like its just been unscrewed, there's no visible damage on the top part.
The cache is still there, WP1 only seems to be missing.
I'll replace this for the CO soon.
I'll replace this for the CO soon.
DAMN after climbing the hill and making my way to WP1 all I found was half the cache container attached to the branch. The other which presumably contained the co-ordinates of GZ was nowhere to be found. I gave it a good search but no success. It could still be amongst the long grass but I could not find it. Missing as at 1700 8 Nov.
On the positive there are some absolutely fantastic views from up here. Thanks Super-T for the hunt.

Parked on hazlitt glade for a quick walk up to wp1. Tree is charred and only cache lid, body and wpts missing at wp1
Found this one after work today. A couple of muggles around, but I don't think they caught wind of why I was there. Unfortunately walked for a fair way the wrong way along the fence before I found the stile only a little way from where I'd started.
A fair bit of scorched earth around from back burning but both caches were fine. Great spot at the top. TFTC
Yay, I don't have to do a cache to,or row, and this was 31 of 31!
I don't know why I had left this one for so long, but today was the day. Thanks.

Retrieved the Geocoin left last month. I will move it on to Sydney during the week.
Nice gentle walk and fence jumping. Cache is intact and unmuggled.
Took nothing but left a really cool Geocoin that travelled from Germany via Czech Republic and USA.

We went for a walk with the dogs just before dark and it was a pleasant cache to to pick up tonight. Thanks Super-T. Cheers
839. A lovely little walk around the hill and a nice little Multi to go with it. TFTC.
Ahh, tricky tree that one....
Cache found out in the open, understandable considering it's been unfound for 5 months. Nabbed trackable. Thanks Super-t.

Found on a labor day morning, beautiful sunny day and great to discover new places. TFTC!
wow good one wp1 then final gz as easy to find as no problem cache hide well... thanks
Found on a crisp and sunny Canberra morning for a bit of school holiday fun.

Found this one relatively easily. On approach to GZ looked in what turned out to be to obvious a spot, but quickly found the cache in the next place we looked. Dropped off the Suncatcher geocoin.
Fittingly done in conjunction with "School's Out" just as school is ending for the year (or forever in my kids case). I doubt any local muggles would have seen me as I tramped up the hill however - in one or two places the grass was a tall as me! It was almost an adventure in itself! So for the time being your cache location may well remain safe. TFTC.
Reperio at 1615. Found a pretty good access point that led me straight to GZ, and after a short search, it was off to GZ to make the find. Nice decent sized cache and well done for finding a hill without a cache on it.
Gratias.

Well this is my very first cache find ever. Have just been introduced to the sport by WINGLEN who is clearly a master cachette - thanks muchly. Cold crispy morn with fog over the mountains but great sunshine. Both myself and the geo-dog loved the walk and the views.
A nice afternoon walk with the geowife. Kids at school so why not go for a walk. Great views from GZ, don't live far from here but still haven't madeit to this spot. Short walk to GZ and the prize was in hand. Thanks
Trudge up the hill in the dark. By the time I had the GZ coords plugged into my GPS my torch was fading so I hopped off quickly with the dog for the find. SL and got out while I still had the light.

The mission today was to collect a moveable cache that had been down south too long. This gave us the excuse to pick up some others along the way. The area seemed like it had been disturbed some time ago and appeared rough. As we wandered past a sole roo, we made our way to the cache. TFTC
First cache for the day on our way to pick up a moveable that has been stuck for a few days. Said hello to Mr Roo who was all along in the paddock. TFTC
I think the cache owner knows why this was an uncached hill - it really is a not-pretty spot. There is a topographical feature in North Canberra called "One Tree Hill" . Maybe this could be called "one Sickly Tree Hill" ?
However, that is not the point, I enjoyed my traipse with a epic fence climb, gaitors earning their keep with all the prickles, a big roo watching me. WP 1 was neat, with a steady stream of ants, a few minutes to find the cache and another epic fence climb.

Mr Bunny was NOT amused. He didn't realise that going through the fence would be required. Twice.
The first time wasn't too bad, apparently, and he found the first stage without incident. Then we both found the cache. As we were getting back through the fence for the walk back to the car, something slipped, and Mr Bunny doesn't think he'll ever bounce adequately again. He did have that cystitis-style walk for a while.

A small hill and a micro WP1, just to get warmed up. A great day caching with Mr_roo. Thanks.

By far the easiest climb of the day, though my ankle was starting to trouble me at this point.
Found WP1 quickly, but had to be a bit careful at GZ as there was a muggle repairing the fence right there.
Once the coast was clear, made the quick find and signed the book.
Took Remember The Heroes Firefighter Geocoin to pass on the Agent Provocateur this weekend to take to Sydney.

Found by Mary & David at 1610. Very pleased that you put in the micro so we could appreciate the views. The hills were just beautiful in the late afternoon light. Dropped off 'Don't forget the Hero's' geocoin. Our thanks to Super-T.
Found in the afternoon with linFox. A quick walk up to the top of the hill where we puzzled over why it might have been bulldozed before spotting the cache. Then off to the GZ where we found it in a jiffy.
Thanks, Jezzza Xtreme.

Took the dog for a walk here after work today. Lucky his new stiches held after the long grass in the area. Took me a little while of searching under every suspicious looking rock until the castrated dog found the goods as usual before me. I don’t know why I feel the castration needs mentioning…but hey…maybe it’s the brotherhood thing of being attached to mine…sigh.
Found it with horde spirit, a bigish spider greted us at waypoint one but I didn't bother him and he didn't bother me, found GZ shortly after. Lots of roos in the area. TNLN TFTC
Got within 120m of the first waypoint and just saw GRASS everywhere...

God it was a hot day when wasptor came with me for this one, i went to a school nearby too, fun remembering old times, actually it really didn't seem that long ago... oh the fun times.. any way was a great cache to get even if i did feel like i was dying from heat exhuastion...lol. TFTC!
Either I've shrunk (which I couldn't rule out) or someone's been pumping the grass around here full of steroids. Yikes! A cute little container at the first waypoint and a quick find once at GZ. No swaps today. TFTC
Well, I found it. The fence and the waist-high grass (and I'm not short!) made it a bit of a challenge, but I got there in the end. Decent views from up top helped make the trip worthwhile.
Thanks Super-T.

Had to come to the deep south to get a new punch. Lost the last one in Wagga. Whilst down here we thought we would try some caches but when we started we found that the wind was cold. so we hurried in our task and went home to the warmth of the heater. A quick find for both parts. GZ just a bit harder with the area holding plenty of good spots. Tried to leave a TB but it was too big so we left another that we had in our kit. Grabbed the other TB to take on an adventure
A perfect Saturday morning for a walk. Knew where the micro had to be, but was worried about finding it, since I've had almost not luck historically finding these kinds of things. Fortunately, a bit of investigation led me straight to it.
The final was well hidden. It wasn't right where I was thinking it would be from a distance, but trusting the GPS led me straight to it. Dropped off Maid Marion Fitzwalter, since my trip to Sydney was cancelled. Thanks for a nice morning walk.

I not only remember the days, I remember when that particular Cat Stevens song was the theme tune for a radio show my 5th grade class did on 2NUR-FM in Newcastle, back in 1980. Every time I hear it, I remember what it was like to go to the radio station and record my segments...
Not that has much to do with the cache at hand...
Anyway, I was worried about finding the micro at WP1 when I got there, but I spotted it after only a couple of minutes (much to my relief!). After grabbing the coords for the cache, I headed off in search, and startled a whole herd of kangaroos in the process.
I found the cache and signed the log, feeling a little exposed, given the proximity of some of the houses in the area.

A & B Teams headed off together for a change to find this cache. Fortunately the wind was not too strong, otherwise it would have been extremely "brisk" conditions. Located the WP easily enough & was pleased to find that the cache was back in the general direction where we had parked the car. This must be the biggest small cache I have come across! (a bit like many of my oversized micros).

558. After starting out in the dark this morning on the other side of town, I had a chance to head down this way tonight. The view of the lights was marvellous as usual and this time it was enhanced by the fireworks putting more lights into the sky. The noise of some of the fireworks was a bit unsettling though, while stumbling around in the dark.

Everything nice and wet this morning after some welcome rain! And with the clouds still around, the views were very impressive early this morning! TNLN - left a coin. Knew what I was looking for at the first location, but still took a little while to spot it! Thanks Super-T.
Ventured out under threatening skies this morning and enjoyed a very pleasant walk with the kids - great to see everything still well saturated after the recent rain. After a few circles looking for the micro, we were off to find some kangaroos standing guard near the final GZ. No sign of Compass Rose GC in cache.

I remember this area from when I got bogged to the axles nearby before the school was built, It took nearly three hours to jack it up and lay a road of sticks and rocks to get out of the spring I had driven into with a 2 wheel drive. DOH. I look out for flat level green areas nowadays.
Anyhow this was a nice easy walk from a nearby pamphlet run the geokid gets paid for and we get to help out with for the exercise. Spotted the first bit pretty quick and the second part within seconds when I got over there.
Dropped off a TB and GC that I have had for way too long. took nothing.
TFTC TTFN
P.S. I didn't see the compass rose GC when I was there about 11:30AM

Seems to be a busy cache today. The top of the hill is a bit odd for a Canberra hill. We quickly found WP1, and the cache had us poking around for a couple of minutes before we realised we were a little off the mark.

ah yes, I remember the days I spent at that school, I remember cutting a path over that very hill for the cross country, (I was the janitor).
Thanks Super-T for the cache, I found the micro where I thought it would be as I approached, then looked blankley at my GPS and thought "how do I change the coordinates?"
As I looked over the view of the valley forgetting why I was there for a brief moment, that was when it came back to me, so I changed them and found the final GZ.
I had to remove a cd to enable the cache container to close, I will pass it on to you next time I see you.

Dropped off the most beautiful geocoin I've ever seen. The Compass Rose Geocoin 2006. Would have loved to keep it, but it's beauty deserves to be shared, not to mention what use would I have had for it if I'd kept it?
An easy find on the way to work on the bike. Seeing as it was a very short detour off my bike path, easy. Hill???? What Hill?
Signed log, left ICE-AGE Interactive CD, took rubber. Then, back on the bike, and completed 4 caches and 44km on the way to work, Coooeeee. TFTC.

Good Cache, note my old school is about 300km from here I will visit it soon, but didn't see much of the school
Grabbed CA GeoCoin (non CG trackable, but thats ok, is it new? will move it this weekend!)
