Tried this for my 200th cache. Easy to find the way to the GZ, but despite a good search inside and out, couldn't find it. A great location though, and thanks for bringing me here.
This a double boxes cache, strange to find all logs placed at outer box, which totally wet.
Add a new log in inner box.

Hello Cache Owner:
I'm checking up on caches that have had the "Needs Maintenance" attribute set in case you didn't see the "Needs Maintenance" log e-mail come in or you didn't notice the "Needs Maintenance" attribute that is currently displayed on your cache page.
In many situations, you may have already performed maintenance and the cache is all right. If that's the case, you can clear the "Needs Maintenance" attribute (the red wrench attribute and the white cross in the red square) from your cache page by clicking on "log your visit" and writing an "Owner Maintenance" log.
If you haven't checked on your cache since a cacher wrote a "Needs Maintenance" log, please do so soon before falling leaves and snow make maintenance more difficult.
Clearing the "Needs Maintenance" attribute when your cache is all right keeps your cache page accurate and will potentially brings more cachers to your hide since some cachers filter out caches that have that attribute set.
No further Reviewer action will be taken on the cache UNLESS there additional issues such as an extended string of DNF logs or a "Needs Archived" log.
Thanks for your help!

I was in the neighbourhood and decided to give this one a visit. I found the way up and walked past the entrance. Unfortunately there were just too many mosquitoes and GZ was surrounded by thorny plants. I decided to retreat and come back when the army of mosquitoes are gone.
We were meeting family friends for a swim and lunch nearby and we had previously done geocaching with them before in Brunei. Their kids wanted to do it again and as this was the nearest cache off we went. Unfortunately we found the path but it was just steep for them so I went solo to find the cache. Awesome little hidden spot and the pillbox is in good condition. Guess it doesn't see many people. Cache was found easily. Getting down was a bit iffy. TFTC.
Found this on the second attempt. First time workers had blocked the access but this time was good. Sad to report the the inner box is also holding a piece of wet paper, I tipped the outer container to drain the water. Can I suggest that the next cacher to visit takes something to dry out the container and a new log sheet.
It is a great cache so needs to be looked after. TFTC

Great spot for a cache. The way to get there was fairly obvious. You can see the tunnel opening from the road. Grabbed the TB. Fav point for this one.
What a cool hidden spot!
I tried writing my initials on the damp paper, then realized I had fresh, dry paper in my notebook. So I added a new page to the inner container, and hopefully it'll stay dry. Thanks. Dropped a coin.

During short stay in Hongkong, today afternoon some sightseeing lead us to this area.
I had this cache on my mobile phone only, but luckily I could spend some minutes for searching.
The container and logbook would need some maintenance, witing to the paper is almost impossible.

Quickly found, however cache contents in very poor condition and logbook disintegrating! We "carved" our names on a damp piece of paper, see picture. Interesting to discover this hidden pillbox. TFTC.
This one has been in many of my pocket queries since I first visited Hong Kong, but for some reason I have not made any attempt. Now a quick success together with our Saturday geohike team. Emelie removed some trash, but cache is in true need of maintenance.

[370] So happen, the slope was just cleaned by someone else, then i can easily access the pillbox without any difficulty, as other cachers told me is was highly overgrown.
As i was alone, i didn't go inside and left after grabbed the cache.
Btw, there is no log book inside the small box, and i just used all my spare log sheet or book, can't replace it.
For next cacher, pls help to bring spare log sheet/log, as well as zip bag.

Had a nice little adventure inside the pillbox with frankiewan and michael2010y. Really a great experience!

Found the pillbox last month, but without a torch and alone.
So I grabbed a torch and other geocachers this time! =]
Well preserved pillbox. Relatively easy to access among historical sites.
It deserves a 5/5 rating, and a favourite point..if I got one.

Did not find the pill box let alone the cache. Took a set of steps that may or may not be the right way up and ended up trying to follow GPS and at 30m to go got stuck in thorn bushes that trapped me both ways and ended up with multiple scratches but no mozzies! Will need to see if there is another way up.

A very interesting location tucked away off such a well used path!
Found the cache after a bit of searching around but actually it is in the most 'obvious' place!
Unfortunately it is a little damp and could arguably do with a little TLC.

Bit of a scramble, take the 'steps' up, braved the inside thanks for bringing me here
I just want to say, this cache is what Geocaching is all about. At least in my opinion. This was a terrific little excursion to a part of Hong Kong that probably very few people know about, even though they walk past it every day. The armament is in pretty decent shape; it's worth a visit inside if you have a light (once you get through the tunnel, the room itself is fairly well lit).
Nice easy find after a little exploring. The cache is in decent shape, though a proper logbook would be nice (right now it's just loose paper).

6th cache of day - spent the lazy Saturday chilling out at Stanley [8)]
Took a bus from Wilson Trail start point, wanted to visit another cache but didn't managed to alight in time
Ended up at this bus stop with a cache nearby - what we didn't know is a steep climb entrance waiting for us
Fortunately, all of us managed to get to GZ safely and the cache is quickly found
This military installation is indeed well-preserved, however, we were not keen to explore it's interior through the tunnel [|)]

Found this after getting the wilson trail cache. Was on the bus back to central when Cornishcay realised that there is a pillbox cache along the way. Decided to alight from the bus and get the cache. Had a little trouble trying to find the entrance to the pillbox, until we read the recent logs. Very cool pillbox! TFTC!

Found in the search for cache in Hong Kong during my visit to the fair of toys, thanks for the nice places. I like much of Hong Kong and fly to Hong Kong regularly each year since 2003, but I'm geocaching just two years. ...
I needed 4 more caches to reach 200 in HK.And I've been meaning to get these 4 along Black's Link for over a year. After my scramble I was amazed at a piece of history in such good condition.I went inside. No torch.Came back out and found the cache quickly.TFTC.this made 197.Out:Jedi light saber TB.In:Canadian Benchmark Geocoin.pattayadave

My 5th cache of the day.
There is no path towards the GZ. The only way to GZ is walk up through storm water drainage, and it is covered by overgrown vegetation.
Up to the slope, thorns and mosquitoes are waiting you!!! I recall the awful experience of Jubilee Battery (GZ3551Z). Fortunately, it is very short way to GZ. And it's easy grab!
The log sheet in cache is damp.

5/5 - geocaching route Tai Tam Gap to Wong Nai Chung Gap.
Second try, and now a dead easy find. I didn't even look at the GPS yet. Cache was half exposed, re-hidden better to make it invisible from the accidental visitor.
The "ladder" entrance is completely overgrown now, the steps are invisible under the plants. Luckily I had been there already so I knew where I was supposed to go up but what a difference a few months can make. I barely recognised it.
Anyway lovely place, I had no problem having to go there again!

I went to GZ yesterday as I was showing some out of town friends some war relic places. The cache is still there and in good condition.
[Getting to the pillbox wasn't that hard, we were lucky to find the shortcut. I spotted the entrance from the road, after that it was just a steep climb up.
Remarkably well preserved pillbox, probably because the government is not doing anything about it. Very nice find.
The cache though not found. GPS was tricky; finally settled down on an area, I searched the obvious places but no cache. I didn't search too long as the mozzies were having a feast on me According to previous logs it should be an easy find.]
GZ appears to be right next to the wall of a residence; this wall has recently been painted again. Many white spots still on the leaves of plants next to it. I hope it's not that the painters took it!

A fabulous find.
Have wanted to find this one for ages, especially before the HK heat.
Just found about 40 mins ago, afterschool, fair weather, blue skies, so very nice!
Took the treacherous petrol station path... Lots of cuts but it was worth it, for sure. So relieved when the path got easier near the house and I saw the pillbox. Seriously... Wow, wow, wow
Alone, I was too chicken to go into the room, though... Ran quickly out of the tunnel!!!
Took a shortcut out- a really short one. Find a way up from the nearest road... Much faster.

According to the other listings there is supposed to be a tunnel. I then think I came from the wrong way as I took the staircase near the gas station and then did some bush wacking.
Luckily the cache was quickly found.

Initially we did have trouble to find our way "up". After wandering around for a couple of minutes we did find the right route to this very nice spot. Luckily we did bring 2 lights as the tunnel was pretty dark. Once outside again it didn't take too much time to find the cache after checking the pics via my iphone. Once we found the cache we did log our visit and make a few quick pictures as we didn't want to be eaten by the mosquito's.

The GPS took us to the right area, but you still gotta keep your eyes peeled.
Be very, very, v.e.r.y aware of the mosquito problem in this area. It's an utter nightmare!
Apart from that, it's a super little HK secret.
Thanks for bringing us here.
The cache is is good condition, but it's a little full (coz it's a box within a box).
We replaced the dead pen with a fresh one.
Took a GC and a bug, left a little TB monkey.

I think we spent an hour in the wrong direction, or maybe just the wrong spot. Still it was fun.
Followed the shortcut route of previous cacher, found the entrance at 30M easily. Scrambled to the pillbox but it is not easy after rain as the "stairs" is slippy. I saw the entrance and went into the pillbox for a quick look, then started my searching at GZ. My GPS reading was not so accurate here, therefore I keep searching for a wrong location near the big house. Many bloody mosquito to wear away my willpower. I decided to leave after 15 mins of searching. At the moment I am leaving, I found the cache base on my geo-sense.
The way go down is also exciting, I can't walk along the steps but I only walk down along the slippy overgrown. What an unforgettable caching tour.

Did the standard walkaround for access, and thought about the shortcut from 35m, but there were too many muggles walking past doing the after work commutingthing. Went up at the petrol station and found the cache fairly quickly, after I remembered some of the more recent comments. No mozzies at all.... don't have a clue why...
Inside the pillbox was awesome..... I couldn't believe what good shape it was all in.... really cool tunnel access too.
his caching name may be an indication, but HOW did WWIIHK find this in the first place ??.... who knows, but I'm glad he did....
Thanks very much.
#188. I was on the road when my GPSr showed I'm just about 30m from GZ. So I scrambled up a path not intended for humans. Never thought that this "path" will lead me straight to the pillbox. While I'm searching around, a swarm of blood-thirsty mosquitos came attacking from all directions and feasted on my arms and face. Good I found the container, signed it real quick and hurried back down the road. TNLNSL. TFTC.
This was our 3rd visit to this wondeful spot and on this trip everything came together to allow us to find the cache.
The box in box has protected the contents well. We didnt stay long this time due to many biting enemies so we exchanged a few trinkets, signed log and ran out quickly after being bitten multiple times.

2nd attempt at this one. Tried following the path in above the petrol station but it was very steep and lots of workmen around. Eventually just folled the roads until I got to within 35m and saw a nice way in with only a small bit of a scramble. Pillbox was cool and the cache was cloaser to it than i expected. TFTC
This was a tough find. After struggling the undergrowth we had to do some serious searching. Perhaps we didn't read the advice carefully enough.

out this way with outdoors nut to do a few caches in a new area..we found trail #10 and decided to go up the staircase..we managed to find somewhat of an offside trail and made it up to the cache area..then my leg got tangled in some very prickly vines and then the other part of the leg did too..so ive got blood all over my legs and then the mosquitoes start to come around..we quickly found the cache hide and then started back out of the area..then outdoors nut happens upon a whole bunch of red ants and they were quite big..so got out of there as fast as we could..it was very trying once we got up to the actual spot but the walk up was ok..thnks for the fun!
In HK on a geocaching expedition with JTee and EZFlyer. EZFlyer decided to take a day off for shopping so it was just the girls that day, it was a fun and hard day for us but we did it. Read JTee's logs for all the details. TFTC.
The only access that I found is a working area with no possible way...or may be I have missed something?
This was a challenging cache, mostly due to the difficulty required in accessing GZ. Before that point, however, I unintentionally followed a trail about 1km in the wrong direction to familiarize myself with the surrounding forest, terrain and spider webs along the trail. I also passed a nearby cache and checked to make sure it's still there -- it is. Anyway, I eventually turned around, followed an unconventional route across a stone cliff above a petrol station towards the real GZ, and hiked up the trail-less terrain to reach the pillbox. Had a look inside, quickly found the cache, and stumbled back down the hill to humanity. SL-TFTC!

When looking for something to cover the new cache container, found the original box accidentally, which well hided around 10 feet away from its original position in pretty good condition with its own pen, faded log sheets and small item.
Move the original box back to where I meet it first time, and decided to put the new container into the original one with a new small log book, and left (1) GC & a toy.
Be the way, the vegetation & trees around the cache zone had been blow away (!!!), and all citizens can see the entrance of the pillbox from the road directly now, so, please cover the cache well after visit.

But, indeed, it was such a "well-preserved" site, since the entrance is not easy to be found.

Yep, found it. I think that the new construction may now interfere with what might have been a semi-reasonable approach to the site. Soaked with sweat (I chose a hot, humid day for this of course!), swarmed by mosquitoes, and by the time I hit the street again, heavily scratched, slightly lacerated and cobwebbed, I'm happy to have this one behind me! Historically interesting, but WOW...I don't think I'll come here again.
Thanks for the challenge!
Thanks for the challenge!
Not the easiest to find but very much worth it - huge clouds of mosquitoes guard the cache and very tricky in the wet weather to get to the pillbox but one of the better spots and a place which you are very unlikely to find if you don't know that something is there... Thank you.

The pillbox is nice and windy while we were inside, spookily dark but instinctively exciting. Some interesting graffiti on the walls within that folks should come see.
Outside! We were ambushed by a battalion of mossies! We had to run for our lives as soon as we signed the log and rehide the GC! No chance to compose a lenghty log!

The mossies gave chase after us for more than 200metres! What an experience!

Tough hike through the forest... i'm not even sure the way I took is legal... also got attacked by mosquitos and huge red ants... not the most fun geocache, but interesting...
An interesting place, well hidden. It took me some time to move up to the location.

It was the hardest place in HK under attack of mosquitos, ants and spiders.
I wqs bite here by 20 mosquitos (as minimum), 1 black ant (it was very painful) and ate a big spider cloth.
This was my wildness cache.
Trying to kill some mosquitos I broke my GPS LCD display. We lost the rest of the day looking for a new GPS. Finally we found a new one in Kowloon.

Last time I had gave up due to I cannot afford the hot kisses by tons of passion mosquitos in dusk.
So, I must said a cool winter day is ideal day to visit this cache like today.
Easy to find without the mosquitos & in daytime.

I knew the way to go when I saw it by considering the terrain rating and the style of WWIIHK's caches.
A really secret place.
Oops. I stepped on the cache...
Out: TB Dice, GC Dairy Cow.
Thanks again for the historical place and story.

What a beautiful pillbox!!! It is my second attempt for that cache. Although I already found the way to that cache last time, I need to clarify that it would not trespass to the private property and did not want have any relationship with those mosquito and spider.

Now I know why is the terrain level so high . I was afraid if I would have been able to find the cache with not so good GPS receiver. I left it on a good view, enter the pillbox (in really good conditions) and after a moment I walk more into the woods. GPS told me more 16 meters (the same value for last walked 20 meters ), but fortunately the first attempt was succesful.
What a huge number of TBs!
Thanks for a good description of the history. Only mosquitos disturbed me...

#320 at 13.30 Real good short adventure into the wilderness bush. Did enjoy it quite a bit, although in the end both my arms and hands were bleeding. By the way: the climbing rope does not lead anywhere!

WWIIHK is currently out of HK at present. I apologize if the cache is not maintained as it should be. I will be in Australia for some time...

tried to find this cache as well but unfortunately right behind the @secret code@ was work in progress and streetworkers were working there. i couldn't climb up the hill even i was 30mt far away... will try it next week again.
Last 50 meters had to bush wack but not bad. Found the rain trail to get me close. Almost missed it until I put my hand on top of it. Glad I was looking inside.
This was a real challenge for me and my daughter. I think the other entries give enough hints. Very hard hike. Dropped off swampy from the USA. Swampy went o China a few times, japan one time and thailand. It was time to let him go. My appologies to the owner of swampy. My daughter and I kept him to long.
