Logs
Cache & the stump it was hidden in have been destroyed by the bush fire as indicated by previous logs. Convoluted process to record a needs maintenance, which may be why no relevant request, with my Write Note showing I've found it which is not the case. See how this pans out! Edit: Not well.
Found GZ, it does indeed appear that the location implied by the hint is now gone.
Area open. Huts survived the fires. Stump & cache are gone. Campers just 50m away so no opportunity to replace today
Alas this area has had a fire go through and a lot of trees and stumps have been burnt. The road is closed just past this camp ground so the caches further along are currently out of bounds unless the road from the other direction is open.
As the CO is no longer caching perhaps the next person going looking for this one can take a replacement if it is indeed gone.

Found -- 8:09 am -- Thanks for bringing us to this location and Thanks for the hunt *jeepstars*.
**Cache Condition:** Good.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** Spotted a spotty duck TB.
**The Cache**
A semi quick find once I got my negotiation right. Signed the log with our caching names or some scrambled form of *TOC, DJJ, LP* or even attached a cache name sticker, and then returned cache to its hide'y hole exactly as found.
**The Adventure**
A group of us wandered off into the rugged wilds from the safety of suburbia. *DustyJapserJet*, *AstheCrowFly*, *10011010*, *Bonfire7*, *Muppet95*, *Mr TOC* and *Little Panther* somewhere in the mix met up at *Mt Werong* where we camped overnight - a nice campground! We enjoyed the company of two wallabies with babies in pouch, that came extremely close to us.
Travel in was via Goulburn and then up *Jerrong Road*, a very pretty road to travel and in good condition. On the way we saw two kangaroos stuck head first in the fence - dead - poor things.
Next morning we cached into *Yerranderie*. The road was in pretty good condition a majority of the way and my 2WD faired well, although there were half a dozen rough sections. At *Yerranderie* I took time to reflect on those who have gone before and the lives that were lived here, a strange feeling difficult to explain overcame me. I love *Yerranderie*. My companions remained in the village overnight while *Mr TOC*, *DustyJapserJet* and I went back to *Mt Werong*. On the way we saw a *Cavalier King Charles Spaniel* dangling dead by one leg from a tree right near the road, recent it appears - who would/could do such a horrible thing.
Next morning we packed up and moved on, but I got side tracked by *The Road Less Travelled* series. Probably a poor choice chasing these down on dirt road - we popped a tyre. With the tyre changed I decide to high-tail it out to the main road. With 2.5km to go all was good and then !@#$%^!!!! - pop - another tyre gone, and no mobile reception. We had no choice but limp to the main road. Even then mobile reception was sketchy, but we eventually found some and contacted the NRMA for a towie. It's Sunday too! A very boring and wasted day spent in a hotel room. It was raining by lunch time. Monday arrived - tyres replaced and we're on our way - HOME!! Many caches collected and a midnight home coming straight to bed. We still had a terrific weekend considering the drama and even though it ate $300 out of our budget to go to the *St Arnauds* Mega.

Floating around while the others use their amazing skills to search for the cache. Log signed and replaced and the scene evacuated TFTC
Arrived last night around 6:30pm and camped here overnight. While waiting for others in our group to pack up camp a couple of us went in search of this cache. Saw a familiar travelbug inside but left it there to continue its journey.
We always considered Yerranderie a single-day trip but since a few in our group had to travel farther than us we were happy to defer Yerranderie's over-night expenses and make the pit stop here - a well-placed cache pointing out an excellent location to stop over. Thanks.
I just love road trips and this one was no exception.
Thanks to all the COs for amazing caches, my apologies for mostly generic logs.

Out on a weekend away with geobuddies we camped up here for a night, this sure is a top little camp ground,a really enjoyable visit.
While waiting for the others to arrive I tried looking for this hide with only my phone, that didnt work to well so after firing up the gps I was soon on my way to discovering the stash, just at GZ the others now arrived so I left it for now and we all came back down soon afterwards and signed the log,we also picked ourselves up a few pathtags too, good times!
Thanks jeepstars for the cache

Spent the weekend outdoors with friends. I had a very rewarding time - reaching #5000 finds, clearing more of my 50km radius and collecting a range of caches that work towards different statistics/challenges. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contribution to the game.
We took advantage of Mt Werong Campground on Friday night. This place was serene! I'd happily come back and camp here again. Cache was found in the obvious spot.

Found Love this place! ️ TFTC ... but the cache is just laying out in the open, not sure if that’s right ? Great place but
After night spent camped at the Wombeyan Caves and a stroll through the Fig Tree Cave this morning, we are on the road again and looking for back roads to make our way north.
We've certainly avoided the main roads to arrive here and it was well worth it to find such a lovely stop for lunch. Found the cache out in the open so have hopefully placed it back where it should be.
Then it was time to have lunch with the inquisitive wallaby.

Four years arrive my first visit Yerranderie, (despite living just across the valley), i managed to return to find the caches published just after i was here last.
It was a warm weekend, but with such a long drive home we had to start our journey home before lunch.
Thanks for the cache.

The last GC cache today completed – had the area to my self today – a nice area visited. Well the cache was the hardest 1 to find today – don’t know why as I found it out in the open, had 2 off GPS’s onto this 1 & brought me to a suspect site, expanded search but I went in all the wrong directions – as I was about to give up I spotted it, I have re-hidden it in the hints hint or must say a log, yes, a bit of moisture damage but log sheet is dry. Found whilst on the 2017 #gnomehome adventure around the Australian continent. thanks for the cache and thanks for bringing us here.
Fun find! Log is wet but cache is in good condition. Signed log, took nothing, left nothing. TFTC!
Liked this one. Great area to explore. Road in good condition for 2wd. Log book damp added some waterproof paper. Cache container all good. Fav point Tftc.
Working not too far away and followed the windy road in, the recent snow largely melted but some patches lingering. Very pleasant spot. Thanks for placing. Cache was pretty obvious, and log damp but writable. Replaced a little further under its cover.

After a small detour to Black Springs, we met up with the Canaries again at this cache before we headed to Yerranderie together. Canary Senior & I took a short stroll to find this one while the remaining canaries finished lunch.
Thanks

The first of twelve finds on our trip to Yerranderie with Toriaz, bikerbuddy and NickoHeap.
This was found on Day One on the way into the campground.
We had bought lunch in Oberon. Toriaz and co went to Black Springs on the way. So, we stopped and had a nice family lunch in the historic site. When they caught up we wandered over for an easy find.

An easy find, though was damp. Never noticed this old house and campground here, though been a few years since we have passed through this way. Weirdly, no male toilets here?
Had lunch under the back veranda here, very nice spot to have lunch.

I've never been to Yerranderie, so when we decided to have a short weekend trip there, I chose this cache to set the car GPS to, to make sure we got on the right road.
As we approached the cache location we were stopped by a bunch of guys on trail bikes (one actually blocked our road). But rather than turning into a story of Deliverance, they just wanted to know whether we could help. They were looking for a property where the owner said they could ride their trail bikes for a fee. They thought they were meant to meet him where they were waiting. I explained that I didn't know the area, but they seemed very impressed that we had two GPSs, the car one and our hand held one for caching.
We drove a hundred metres down the road and parked. By that time they were buzzing around further up the road. We found the cache after a very short walk. Thanks

No 3243- The family were intending to go camping at Yerranderie for the weekend to start the school holidays. I don't know what I was expecting- something a bit taller perhaps, but when we got to Mt Werong we found a lovely little camping ground, but no mountains to speak of. After talking to some guys looking for bike tracks we wandered down for a quick find of a largeish cache. Thanks.
Found with Snow.15 Excellent camping spot for a 4wd trip. Visited the nearby Ruby Creek Mines while heading through to Yerranderie and Jenolan Caves
It was nice to see this type of container for this hide. Arrived at GZ on a rainy day with geodaughter.
I say to her to look over there and quickly, I hear those lovely words "Found it". Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

We drove past here two days ago, and were amazed to see a lovely campsite with stone houses and a chimney. It wasn't marked on our maps! After a day of caving we stopped by to look at the campsite and find the cache. Then we went along the path to the old mine. The forest here is beautiful, thanks for bringing us here.
Found with my Gpskyp while out exploring the area. A welcome fire burning inside where we sat and ate a late lunch

Got this one on the way to Yerranderie. What a great camping place. Will return just to stay here. Thank you for bringing me out here.
Found it , My first Geocahce ,Took nothing left nothing , now I have worked out my GPS and have right Datum , Short drive from work
We were stopped for lunch at the Mt Werong Picnic area when Pandsa said "Hey there's one 100m away." so after grabbing a pen, we raced off to find the cache. It was an easy find which we were please about as the weather was very cold, windy and wet. TNLN TFTC
A quick easy find which was fortunate as it was a showery, windy and a very cold day.TFTC
We'll join the long list of finders today that found this one on the way to Yerranderie for the GC event. Lots of muggles here today being a long weekend but we could imagine how cool this place would look on most weekends during winter when it's probably deserted.

Number 6 on our trip. Found at 12:53. TFTC. Managed to get out of the forest after realizing we had a flat in Yerranderie. Nice homestead. Geoson admired toy lion and reluctantly placed it back. TNLN.
Although a fairly easy find, this cache isn't found that often? Must the nice drive to get there?

Reperio at 0830.
Stopped by here on the way out to '#46 Lime Green', and I was hoping there weren't too many muggle campers here as it was a long way to have to return here...and I was fortunate that there was only one...and they were on the other side of the buildings to where the cache was. Parked a short distance away...and soon spotted the nice sized cache. The facilities look fantastic...and would be a great spot to return here to spend a few days camping.

This is the first time I have stopped to check out the homestead, nice to know its there if in the area again and looking for somewhere to stay out of the elements.
Found this on the "Caves to caves" track, it was a nice place to have afternoon tea.
This was a fairly easy find, although I came across from the carpark and had to backtrack rather than climb over the fence and cross the waterhole. A simple find. The contents were damp, but as we were on a club trip, I barely had time to make a find, let alone dry out the cache.
The container is well designed, so maybe it just needs a large washer (or a rubber circle in the lid like a drink bottle would have?).
Great spot, will return for a night sometime I think.

#5 Found this cache with Marianne & The Rats while at the NavShield 2011 nearby. TFTC
Well, after a 20km walk around this area for Navshield we put the compass and map down and grabbed the gps to go find this cache.
With the area full of campers we snuck in here using the stealth of darkness to find this cache. I grabbed the TB from here which seemed to have been here for way too long.
Thanks

This cache might get a few finds ove the next week or so, since the Bushwalkers Wilderness Rescue Navshield will be using this area as its base camp.
Great spot, easy cache. Found the cache sitting uncovered, so put it back to where I would expect it to be before according to hint.
This was a good cache to get us off the main road and into the bush a bit. Stopped for some lunch at the homestead before a walk down to the cache. Then we took the lazy option and drove down to the mine before heading back to the main road to continue our trip.
Picked up FTF Puzzle Geocoin.

Found it! Our first find on our trek to Yerranderie and our first find for 2010! This was a great spot for a rest on what was an insanely hot day (41 C I was told) Released 2 TB's to the wild after a prolonged visit at my place! Cheer, SL TFTC

We decided to do a lap of Kanangra-Boyd via Wombeyan Caves and Jenolan Caves, this cache just happened to be right where we stayed the night. Cheers
Frippy and myself where on a short trip away checking out some tracks and towns in the area and decided to camp here for the night. We found the cache just sitting there in the open with no cover on it so we did our duties and then covered back up thanks..
After a totally wet and very cold weekend, spent out at the rogaine nearby, Altaire were kind enough to help me search for this one. They had found it before, quite some time ago. This is a wonderful spot but with woeful satellite reception initially, we wandered around in circles. Finally, I unearthed this well hidden cache. Nice big container too. I found the cache to be out by 10 m but this could have had something to do with the weather and sat reception at the time. Unfortunately we didn't have time to do any of the walks in the area, as we were on our way home from the rogaine.
Found it while 4WD touring. This is my first geocache find and it was a lot of fun.
Could not find this cache - hopefully it is still there. GPS led us to a dead wallaby instead ! We will try again another day.
Driving from Dingo Dell home we decided to take the short cut this way, hoping to connect with Wombeyan Caves Road. Oh, and grab this cache on the way! A nice easy find, however the short cut road was closed due to strom damage, and both cars suffered flat tyres on the way back to the main route.

Wasn't sure when I'd make it past this way again, so took the detour here. What a great picnic area - may attract me to return specially.
A quick stop to stretch my legs on the way north. Thanks.

A lovely little picnic area and a handy spot to take a break and stretch the legs as one passes through. Very robust cache container. We made no swaps but picked up the charmingly named Merchant of Death TB.
The kids wanted to go caching so a round trip it was and this one was the first target. The road out past Her Majesties Hotel was about 6 inches of mud and slush due to road works and with all the recent snow it proved to be very interesting. Arrived at GZ about 19:30 on a frezzing cold nite to find people camping in the nearby hut. Nice easy find. TNSL
