We were driving past this location and I thought it wouldn't hurt to attempt to search around for this archived cache. After a good 5+ minutes and having performed a good detailed search, no cache was forthcoming. The cache may indeed still be around, but perhaps not obvious? I searched the various wood piles that the hint indicated, but I suspect a few backburns and clearings have occurred, and hence the cache has then likely been cleared. Thanks anyway Scrub Bull for the cache placement.----------Today, a planned *Maker Magic* event on the top of Kenilworth Bluff had me make a trip north. When I completed this hike one year ago, I hadn't prepared for the walk to take the full day, and missed out checking other vicinity highlights. Following the event, [shazzar66](https://coord.info/PRJ8B31) and I took a drive north-west through Brooloo and Imbil, and we scoped out the Mary Valley Rail Trail, and the forestry area to the south-west. Those 4WD tracks didn't pose any concerns and were in good condition. For lunch, [shazzar66](https://coord.info/PRJ8B31) and I returned to Kenilworth where we had lunch at the infamous bakery, and we ran into [Peppa](https://coord.info/PRAXNZZ) who had returned from the hike. We completed the finding of geocaches around town, and I then took off towards Mapleton, stopping off at Mapleton Falls National Park for a short walk. As time continued to get away from me, I was able to make a few final stops in Nambour, and then took the drive home fighting congestion on the M1 highway.I also commenced/completed two Adventure Labs: [Not Too Shabby.](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/ead46a00-3de3-48be-97ed-2033deff279b); and [A wander around Kenilworth](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/703debde-f896-446d-ad5a-748aee0abcf7).
Stoked to find this one alive and kicking still, and a cache in immaculate condition. After almost 6 years! Big thanks to NeverLost for replacing the container otherwise it would not be here for sure. There's been a bit of work going on around GZ and perhaps the clean up will extend onto it's hide soon, but for now it's safe. Did a bit of CITO here. It's a real shame that this area appears unfrequented and has become a bit of a dumping ground, because it's quite nice. Listening to the bellbirds here really lovely. Maybe it's getting a facelift? One can hope. Another scrub bull treasure.
Turn that frown upside down! Yes, I made a detour to try this again and my new GPSr took me closer to the cache than my previous visit, but still a few metres off.
I can't believe no one replaced the container during the recent mobbing!! As it happens I was well equipped and now it should last a few more years. I think it's worth looking after as it highlights a beautiful reserve that is a little off the beaten track.
Thanks Scrub Bull.

While madly racing around with Captain Terror on the Imbil Hobson Trail adventure, we stopped off here for just a few moments so I could put my signature in the logbook. Thanks to the lads this morning for clearing the path and creating a passage for the rest of us to find the cache.
Thanks for the cache Scrub Bull

Found while in town for the Forest Challenge Event this weekend.
We?d pulled up at a particular way point when Fangsoki said ?There?s an archived cache just in there?.
With the chance for another cache to add to the tally it was just a matter of following the crowd and the track and there it was.

I was riding into Imbil with Fangsoki, Pprime and Sweet_bee and we thought we'd have a gander for this cache. It would only be rude to not do so for a Scrub Bull cache.
Only a short detour before Fang our fearless driver was looking for parking. Access was the next issue. The lantana has grown thick and fast, so we tried from where the car was but got very painful very quickly. We tried another angle, which turned out to be better. There was much whacking of lantana to forge a passable track towards GZ.
Pprime was first on the scene and quickly found the cache still in place. What a marvellous find after so long unloved. Inside is a bit worse for wear, but one cannot complain when the cache is, indeed, archived.
As It turned out, we ended up back here later in the day with a bunch of attendees from the nearby event - poor cache was likely over come with the love and attention. TFTC Scrub Bull

While attending the Hobson's Trail event and driving hither and thither through the forest tracks and around the local area, someone ventured forth the information that there was a Scrub Bull cache in the vicinity. Well, no one likes to drive past a cache - do they? Fortunately we had a few experienced lantana tamers with us who did the hard work and we made it to GZ to find the cache safe and happy. Thanks Scrub Bull for placing it here. TNLNSL. [^][^]
Heading out Imbil way for the weekend, but picking up a few 4wd drive-bys on the way in the mighty Purple Paj under command of our fearless leader Fangsoki, the adorable SweetBee and the somewhat lanky Captain Terror. Nipped in here for a little lookee see at a maybbe Scrub Bull one (a team favourite hider) - I mean we were driving past and all that, rude not to say G'day. Took a bit of trundling around to find an access point, and a bit of damage done to the flourishing crop of lantana cleverly planted here, but a likely looking GZ kept attracting us until the cry went out "By George, he's got it". [xx(] Yeah, even I think that was poor taste. But the logbook was really really nice. We like a Scrub Bull logbook we do.
Funny thing happened on the way to Imbil. Chasing the Hobsons Trail challenge later that day it happened that we ended up back here again (or just up the track a bit), so several more visits occurred. George was a popular boy today.
Thanks for placing this cache, Scrub Bull. Found in good condition.

While out and about at the nearby event, we were chatting to Fangsoki after he, Pprime and Sweet_bee had made the find on this one.
We were nearby to this one with a group of others at the event as well, so joined them in the search.
Was a nice quick find when following the others in
Thanks Scrub bull, a great spot indeed

While at an Event in the area today, I stopped here with Aussie Liahona, bedmaker and Tassiegirl13 to grab this one. Thankfully others had been here before me today and cleared the way a little, so it was a reasonably easy scramble to GZ. TFTC, Scrub Bull.
Being a big fan of Scrub Bull caches, I noticed this one was probably still available - so Captain Terror, Sweet_bee, Pprime (P`), and I rolled up to tackle it.
We had a bit of a fail trying to access the area to start with. But we soon had an approach sorted. With a fair bit of whacking, we eventually got to the GZ. It was obvious, no one had been here in quite a while. Sure enough - we found the container - still in situ.
But our dealings with this cache weren't over for the day - I led a group into this cache later in the afternoon. One has to spread the love doesn't one?
A very nice area - happy to have yet another Scrub Bull find (still have some more to go yet!)

Parkos, Bedmaker and Tassie Girl signed the logbook on this one before me today.
I have had this one on my radar since I first started looking at archived caches, as it had been nearly 12 months since the last find. I could not make the event today at 12:00 but still decided to go for an afternoon drive over the hill and out to Imbil. I targeted a few caches to fill in my afternoon, but this one took me by surprise today, as it appeared on my gps when I was finding another one. Not having any phone coverage, I just winged it on the roads until I was right near GZ. I have only been playing this game for a short time, but have already became a big fan of Scrub Bull hides,( as well as a few others like Cooroy Scouts, Plantman, and Mikey Moo), and this hide didn't prove any different. Take the clue literally, as I was literally crawling on my hands and knees, under wood!
I'm sure someone attending the event can replace the lid on the container...it's a 1 litre systema.
Thank you Scrub Bull for the cache.

I know it's a bit odd logging a DNF on an archived cache but I had really hoped to find this today and maybe give it a new container. I would never have come here if it wasn't for this cache and I'm glad I did - the bellbirds were amazing. Many other birds were active today too and even a wedgetailed eagle flew over just above the tree tops. Maybe I can take a previous finder back with me next time!
Took a small trip into the scrub.
The sound of the bell minors is awesome.
Geopartner taped it on his mobile phone.
Plenty of lantana growing.
Found the cache with the cracked lid and put in a new log book which is double bagged to keep it dry till a new container comes or just another lid.

Cracked container. Lovely sounds though. Water all through cache log book completely destroyed.
Lovely sounds here! Very tranquil! A bit scratchy to get to. Well hidden, so keep looking. Container cracked and full of water. Log book destroyed. We drained the container and placed it upside down to stop it filling up again. Next finder might be able to bring a new container and log book. TNLN. FTC. Canyonero Crew.
TFTC A lovely bird song accompanied me on a wild trek through the undergrowth. Container is cracked and cache is full of water. Emptied water out, but log book is ruined.
Out and about on a cache raid of the Sunshine Coast. Completed our search while enjoying the tuneful sounds of the local birds, thanks for sharing this great place T4TC.
Found ok after a bit of a search around and after the usual amount of scratches for a Scrub Bull cache As mentioned in previous logs, there is crack in the top of the container allowing lots of water in so the log book was very damp, but signable.
We also noticed that there are signs on posts nearby warning of a 'fuel reduction burnoff' to commence soon. This won't be good news for the cache TNLN Thanks for bringing us here Scrub Bull

Found the cache on a day that had passing rain showers. Top of container has a crack in it which is letting in moisture. Log is still okay. Replace container in spot and added a bit of rain protection for it. TFTC NTLT
Quick find while in the area. It was a bit wet(water in the cache) but the log was OK. Thanks.
We cleaned this cache as best as we could, replaced snap lock bags. The container is cracked and needs replacing, very wet contents.
Had some morning tea with the geosquirts took pleasure in the bountiful birds. Wish I had binoculars.
very pleased it find, didn't think i would at one point and wow lots of bell birds
Arriving at GZ, I was thinking... why a cache here?? then when opening the doors... all became apparent.. well worth a cache, thanks scrub bull!!
Arrived at the site and found a "bird watcher" using his binos trying to look the part. When he spotted the Geocaching Lapel hat pin I was wearing, he became Ozibags and we found the cache together. (And you need the binos to see the Bellbirds high in the trees.)

Great sounds in this area. Also saw lots of red-browed finch and heard Whistlers in the area. As I was looking at the birds someone else rocked up. Turned out to be another cacher - The Guddinks. After introductions, we found the cache together then went into nearby Imbil for lunch together. Took a TB. TFTC Scrub Bull.
Thanks Scrub Bull for another great cache. Found on an afternoon drive with LandyLovers.
Having a fantastic run today with the help of Kingfisher au ,if you are a bird person you will love the Bell birds

Just missed a whole tribe of dirt bikers. Cache container was wet inside, but the log was OK in its plastic bag.
By George we found it too! We had a newbie with us on his first geocaching expedition. When we left he was scratching his head wondering why people hide plastic containers in such unusual places. Because people go looking for them of course! This is another beautiful part of the world. TNLNSL. TFTC.

Found it on our Imbil blitz with Huge Red Machine. Fun game of 'hot and cold' with the GPS among the trees.
Found it with ease. wasn't covered over (but it is now!) Took eraser left balloons. Thanks for the cache!
This was our second attempt in a week at this one. First time GPS wouldn't co-operate. Yes got the cobblers pegs but worth it for those beautiful bird calls. Left some Avon samples for the next ladies who visit.
The GPS took a while to settle down to narrow the search area. Found the cache just as some bikes went past and the rain started. Lots of birds could be heard while we were searching. TFTC Scrub Bull
This sure took some searching but want sweet sounds to be strolling through the scrub. My wife so enjoyed this spot, couldn't get her away.
