As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Ok finally got down for a quick check and it is missing will hopefully get a chance to replace it some time this week

We are new to this so maybe that is why we didn't find it. Will try again another day, we often are at this park. Looked under, E1 almost losing a shoe in the mud, hid quietly under while foot traffic passed, but while climbing out attracted the concern of two elderly muggles.
Second go at this - whats the go, maybe too busy watching for the legions of muggles!
Sonar doesn't work when your not a bat. Will be back with some lighting. The random feeling of adventure lost tonight..
698 - 2 for today. Found on 4/07/10 11:26 AM
After a brief search, located the container, very cleverly hidden. Extracted, signed and replaced in between muggle traffic.Very busy bridge, someone could make a fortune if you have to pay to get across. TNSLLN

Had to out last the mini muggles at GZ today - eventually they wandered off and I made the find - nice location and a good cache - thanks ! Didnt see the TB.

Finally!! I don't know why it took me three visits to find this one, it was in one of the places I would hae guessed, I suppose I made it more complicated than it needed to be and just didn't look with my brain working? Thanks
Ace 7 and I tried this one before shopping and felt like a couple of trolls avoiding the muggles walking dogs. when the coast was clear i located the cache. Left olympic pin. Thanks Woodyson for a good easy cache we could complete without too much trouble.
Did with Toadmiester7 on the way to do groceries. We slipped around under the bridge and had to remain very quiet while muggles strolled over head. Toadmiester7 made a clean recovery and got it. Left my fish carabeena.

This one had us searching high, low and lower, but Candy Cane 101 soon had the cache in hand. TFTH SL TFTC
Found it on our Kates 8th Birthday, took a toy radio (plastic) and left TB Tigger VG2NMZ, because it wouldn't all fit in. Hot, Hot day, but nice spot.
The Kalmlittleexplorers made a late afternoon run to the gong today to gather some baby supplies for the pending arrival of a new explorer in the not too distant future and thought we would gather a couple of caches whilst there. Unfortunately the caching is now restricted to ones fairly close to the car however!
Parked as close as we could to this one, and headed over to the most obvious feature. Geodad thought he knew best and headed into the scrub down below only to pop up to a strange look from a muggle, like what were you doing there?
After a quick rethink the cache was soon in hand. very nice hide.

After a previous find we were relieved to come up with the goods during a low muggle moment.
Found 11:15am. Cattledog-81 soon found this one. Top hide and camo. Glad we had the geo-pup with us as we had to occupy ourselves with a game of fetch until the coast was clear. TNLN thanks.
Found 11:15. Good hidey hole, found it before jkcourtz. I was on the right side. Ha Ha!
Found at 0830. Enjoyed the walk to GZ on a warm morning, and as soon as I arrived, two junior muggles of bikes arrived, so I had to wait that out. Then as soon as the coast was clear, I extracted the cache, and was just signing the log when two muggles came from opposite directions and started talking on the bridge right in front of GZ. So after another bit of a wait, I could finally put the cache back.
Thanks.
Thanks.

This took a couple of attempts as it's right on a muggle highway with people appearing every few seconds. I helps a bit if you are on the correct end of the bridge when you commence your search. I have no idea what the earlier log refererences about possums are all about, but perhaps I was just lucky not to encounter the cache guardian.
On a day spent caching, Ms TP snagged her second. Quick find once we expanded our search. TFTC.
Great to find this one as this was our 2nd geocache ever attempted. We have been back a few times since with no success. With more experience and close examination of the logs, we had enough clues to get it. Excellent cache! TFTC

I found both the cache and the possum nest but, unlike some earlier finders, I spotted it without sticking my hand in first. It took a little searching, but I found it in the end. No problem with passers by today thanks to the rain.
Have looked for this one a few time so resorted to reading all available information and decided to widen the search. Found quickly with all the help although I didn't see anything that confirmed the identity knowing that there is / was another cache nearby. This was my second cache in a row where I didn't see the TB that is recorded as being here. TFTC - off the the otherone nearby that I have had trouble with.
Found it after a while after having realized that the coordinates are a bit off. Quite clever hide for a cache of this size.
Bummer. Didnt read the logs, more clues there.. prob would have found it..Geokid gettng anci after earlier climb up Nebo.. Another day visit from Sydney should turn it up.
no possums found by team casho (thank goodness dont think could have handle a possum on my head) again almost gave up on this one but younges geokid decided to have a last look and guess what he found what we could not after three attempts

We certainly had an interesting experience at the cache location. We were just beginning to look around GZ when we spotted something out of place. So of course I just stick my hand straight in like Harry Butler looking for a feed of goanna eggs.
Instead of feeling some kind of plastic or metallic container I felt something warm and furry. Then it moved and I could feel sharp claws and it started to crawl up my arm. I would also like to point out at this stage I was calm and cool and did not need a change of underwear. Then this cute little head appeared followed by the rest of it’s body and being a Ringtail possum it then proceeded to run up my arm and climb on my head. Of course the other half was rolling around laughing about my situation. Picked the little fellow up and placed him back in his nest. The cache soon in hand and we left the possum to get some sleep.

Found in the dark after the event dinner with MTBO, mtrax, SS, CT and SDL. We spent a fair bit of time looking in all the wrong places, before coming up with the goods! No muggles at least... TNLN, thanks Woodyson.
First cache of the second day for team McWiBiTe. A huge amount of dew on the grass as we made our way across to this one, making for cold wet runners. Then searching around over and under, I slipped on one of the rocks below, finishing the cold wet job for one foot. Then all the excitement up above with poor poss before we finally found what shouldn't have taken so long - talk about overcooking this one.
But a nice cache. Thanks Woodyson.

Found with mtbikeroz, Tankengine, mtrax, Sol de Lune and Secretsquirrel-BJC on the Wollongong Invasion. This was a fantastic weekend of fun and sun, meeting the locals, and chasing excellent caches.
Thanks for the hunt Woodyson. We probably spent too much time at the wrong end, but the expanded search came up with the goods.

Something fishy? or something possumy?! Poor little fella had a rude awakening this morning. Please stay away from the upper openings on the bridge.
We finally found the cache after spending a lot longer than we should have - a few hours of sleep had obviously not cleared the cobwebs after the long day of caching the day prior. This was the the 1st cache for day 2 of the WIWE (Wollongong Invasion Weekend) & 30th cache overall.

First cache after the dinner, around 9.30ish pm. Looked for a few minutes before the only person without a torch can up with the find - go figure!!

1270. First for day 2 and what a start. The evil BigON destroyed the home of the helpless gatekeeper. Answer these questions 3, not bleeding likely - out you go sunshine. To redeem himself he then made the find exactly where I had stuck my scone . Long grass and very damp made sure that our slightly dry shoe ended up damp again.
TFTC and for showing us this structure (intimately) Actually come to think of it - if it had feelings it would be feeling violated, huh?

Chief home wrecker speaking, During the hunt for this one I spotted some interesting camo sticking out of a likely hidding spot, A couple of little branches later I was thinking this doesn't look right and there was some movement at the other end and some disgusted grunting. oops, poor little possum. Steer clear of the attic when searching if you value your fingers, these little buggers can really bite when threatened, I was lucky this day.
I found the cache in another spot shortly thereafter, a couple of locals stopped and offered to help us find the 'dropped wallet' one even hung around after we declined their assistance, helpfull but a problem, he eventually got the hint and moved on.

We were on our way to the Odee McPodee Birthday Bash Event and this one popped up. We had a little bit of a walk from where we parked but the best was yet to come. Crossing the river was probaly the hardest part. Once there we had a little scout about but the Eldest Little Miss Us had it quickly in hand.
There was no travel bug in there, appears to be long gone. In the logbook though there was a muggle log, in which it said they were hiding thier "bong", no damage done to the cache. Great container

Got it this time! Just after nightfall so the muggle traffic wasn't at the usual high level. Very clever and as I wrote in the logbook, this new cacher has been taught to up his sneakiness radar by your cache! Left RSPCA pen. Took little silver and yellow toy thing that has a yellow light in it.

Have had several goes at finding this one in the last week and today with half of KraftyCharlie's help confirmed that this cache is missing.
I'm actually glad it isn't there, I really looked for it and between that and Child's Play (also missing in the absence of something mystical) I was starting to think this game was no fun at all.

My GPS had GZ exactly at a spot with several excellent hidey-holes but alas nothing was found. Perhaps this has gone AWOL?
I couldn't find this.
I don't know if it was my gps playing up.
Or if it got washed away in the storm.
Unsure.

Mr Emu didn't find this cache today, but mainly because he didn't want to disturb the home(s) of the nearby resident(s) in his search. Sorry - I just didn't feel comfortable with this one. Thanks anyway for showing me a new part of the 'Gong, Woodyson.
um just realized that the travel bug i dropped off had lost its tag so please don't pick it up
was walking home and decided to check on is looked in one side scared a bird out looked in the other scared a possum out. Will HOPEFULLY replace this after noon
Searched for about 15 minutes and could not locate it, spend a bit of time avoiding muggles.
Not where you would first expect to find this one but a pretty easy find in the long run.

Came for a cache check today with a friend. to find everything dry and well. Although i think i disturbed someones search for the cache.
Thought it was a birds nest but it really was a cache. Thanks for the cache Woodyson.
Walked the dogs down earlier in the day and they had a swim in the creek with was flowing nicely for a change. Was thinking too narrowly and didn't make the find. The Geocoin was calling to us, so after getting a little hint, we smacked ourselves in the forehead and went deerr! It was just getting dark and there were so many muggles push biking past, we thought we wouldn't be able to grab it! The traffic cleared long enough for us to grab it, take the coin and sign the log.

Where else would you rather be on a rainy friday than looking for a cache. Myself and cassie the wonder dog looked for about ten minutes before we managed the find, but not before the our overly excited boxer ended up half in the fast flowing creek. For a few seconds there I thought I was going to have to dive in and drag her out, but I think she got as big of a fright as I did. Anyway thanks for the cache Greg TNLN. Also Took the duck TB.
This took us a little time to find. I think we thought that the recent finds from people that found it in torrential rain days earlier that we would find it really quickly on a beautiful sunny day -how wrong we were. After a bit of searching and a clue from a phone a friend we were on track.
Thanks Woodyson.

SES has kept me pretty busy over the past few days so as soon as I seen some blue sky it was time for a spot of caching.
Brought all the mini-rats along for this one. Since I'd been here before to do a cache there was only one of four spots where I thought this one could be..... Yep you guessed it, it was in the fourth spot I looked.
Thanks for the hunt. Left a coin for the next finder.
