Definately gone, all tree greenery is gone aound the tanks.

27-Dec-08
I coudn't find this - GPS kept taking me to the same place which I am sure would've been nice before all the bushes and trees were felled. Couldn't find anything welcoming here.

26-Dec-08
Also couldn't find this one.. Seemed like a few logical places for it, but nothing there...

(I see that the cache is temporary disabled, I didn´t know that before, cause had in the GPS caches for ages.. Smile

Better disable for a few weeks!

31-Oct-08

my little boy and me had a look for this one when the wife
was shopping left some coal

27-Oct-08
I spent a few fruitless minutes hunting around until I found the classic sign of the human "travel bug" and decided that there was better places to be Sad I'm sure next time I'm back in Auckland it will have disappeared. Thanks.

#155. 1/14 for the day. Dropped some family back at the airport. Dodged the rain and hail for a fairly easy find.

Great spot for a cache, was able to park up after refilling the rental at Shell, and stroll across and find the cache. Good to see it has been replaced. Cheers Gav [2585]

Dropped in with some visiting coins & TB before heading out across the ditch. Found all in order and rehidden as found. TFTC.

17-Oct-08
I arrived from Bay of Islands to the airport, dropped my luggage at check-in & headed for 2 caches. Nice walking excercise before long flight to Niue. Now I'm logging my finds from a free internet terminal on a expo stand in departure hall Big Grin No exchange.

27-Sep-08
with my flight to Christchurch being delayed for 4 hours, what better way to fill in some time than to co geocaching.

with out any cache notes, i was caching a little blindly, but the co-ords were spot on and the cache was easily found.

took geo coin for either a trip south or for a trip back to OZ with me

24-Sep-08
A quick find while waiting around to catch an international flight. +elastic tie, -nil, signed log. TFTC!

23-Sep-08
This cache is our first North Island find - found during a two hour stop over between flights. I picked up the Welsh TB 'Y Draig Goch' for travel to Western Australia while here. T: TB, L: calling card, SL. Thanks to TheWonderStuff for the cache.

23-Sep-08
Dropped some friends at the airport and some TB's into this cache. Both are looking to head overseas (Wales & USA). Cache was sitting out in the open so tucked it back in. Great spot for a TB swap lounge, cheers.

20-Sep-08

Came back today, flouro-shirt-guys were gone. Approached the site, flat battery Twisted spares weren't in the bag Twisted bought some more at $15 for 4 AAs ?!?!?

Found it quickly and easily without attracting any attention (was a bit nervous caching so close the airport, with all the bomb scares....).

Farewell from Auckland for me. A delayed flight made it doable - unfortunately, if they had been more honest about the length of the delay, it would have been a lot more relaxed and enjoyable. TNLN, Thanks.

#330. Got to airport a bit before my flight, so went out in search of this cache. Initial searching was fruitless. Given it was dark, and my flight wasn't too far off, decoded the clue. Found soon thereafter. TFTC.

18-Aug-08
In the book of LEDGIN'S Found at 1610hrs. Greetings from Brisbane, Australia.

As I signed the log I realised we should have been getting onto our plane to return to Australia. A very quick walk back to the terminal and we arrived just in time to be ushered onto the plane - not quite last but almost.

Thanks NZ for 18 days of rain and wind and 3 days of sunshine.

Nearly missing our plane gave us 50 Caches in NZ.

I hadn't been in the country more than half an hour and I've already bagged my 1st New Zealand cache! In typical ruffasgutts4x4 fashion I approached through the difficult way, I found the cache easily and left a TB to be moved on soon.
No swaps, Cheers Wonderstuff I hope I get plenty more while I'm here, this trip is supposed to be work related but one must get their priorities rightWink. Thanks for the cache!

15-Jun-08
Found after a quick search, it seems geocachers can't tell distance very well. When a clue says hidden X meters from an object you can almost guarantee that its at least twice this distance (in this case 5x the distance). Thanks for this cache I'm sure it will get a lot of visits from people transferring from domestic to international and vice versa. Cheers.

Bobo.

At the airport on the way home to Canberra, Australia.

Second to last of 25 found in Auckland during our 6 day stay. Had this one and another close by in a quick 20 minute run before boarding the plane.

Took nothing from this one, discovered 2 TB's and TFTC.

Cheers,

Gave this one a shot after a round of mini-golf at the nearby Treasure Island. It proved to be some difficulty as we hadn't planned very well (it was pitch black and we had 2 torches: one very dim one, and one very small one). However, a look at the clue helped us located fairly swiftly.

Dropped Sam the Monkey T/B into the cache...he is looking for bananas! TFTC

Went for a walk to stretch my legs between flights. Am impressed with the high quality container in such a marginal location - but I wouldn't trust leaving any TBs or geocoins in it, the risk of it being muggled is too high. TFTC.

Hadnt intended doing this one but had to come here to get gas for the rental and was pleased to see it nearby.

Yep - thought it might have been in a nearby tree, but now, it appears to be buried in the rubble from the works. Cheers Gav

11-Apr-08
18:03 As Eder-Ents said cache location is gone. Bummer to lose so many trackables in one hit. The cache may still be under a pile of dead plants, but I had to run to catch a plane so didn't have the time to look. Any one got a metal detector?

11-Apr-08
Didn't know that it has been disabled.
The whole area has been dug up by diggers.

10-Apr-08
The area is being re worked, thanks Kiwi Gary for the info.

Will wait and see what happens here.

Sorry, think the bugs have gone to.

04-Apr-08
Was prevented from dropping off some TBs as site is surrounded by security fence and a digger has reduced everything to rubble Sad

27-Mar-08

The markers around this point to different international cities and have distances shown! Who knew? Can't see that when whizzing by on the road.
Just as I was replacing the cache, we heard a siren and saw flashing lights! Ahhh . . . oh, some poor guy just got pulled over for a traffic violation, but boy were we relieved to not have to go thru an explanation with officialdom!
Took Jesus coin. Left Sunglasses. Ta!

Let the husband feel important and hunt for it. Stayed in car with sleeping son. Sad to see the playground gone and replaced with a carpark.

Left a tb picked up from last nights event, unfortunatly will have to do some investigation to work out the code to move it. Sure it must be on one of the lists I have from last night.

Also dipping dragon spinner
