Very good camo. Spotted it straight away once I was close. Love it. Needs some love though. Lid is broken and log was soaked.TFTC! Fav point awarded
Love this one. Good to show off the variety of caches to a newcomer The Albatross. As others have said, the log book needs replacing and a new waterproof protector. Very wet. Still a great find. Thanks for the cache
We are travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are in Beautiful Mt Gambier for a few days, soaking up the amazing things this area has to offer. We especially love the bush, the back roads, and the wild southern seas. TFTC LNCU.
Successfully, I was able to find the cache. At first, I hesitated but then took up the challenge of geocaching. In this sense, my ultimate aim was not only to locate the cache but also to be revitalized with a new sense of purpose and direction. This cache reinforces that for me; it is important to have determination in order to overcome difficulties involved in geocaching adventures.
Thanks found with Ninjajack1234. Was not able to fill in sheet as unfortunately it has gotten wet. Needs replacement
It is relatively easy to find don't know why it's called the brass monkey thanks for the fun
Back on March 2nd, Shazzar66, AtTheLakeHouse and I were visiting Mt Gambier after enjoying the Adelaide "Great Leap Forward" Leap Day event. We had a very definite plan of about 60 caches that we wanted to find between Adelaide, Mt Gambier and Ballarat. All within the space of about 4 days and several hundred kilometers. Although this cache wasn't on our original list of finds, we had a bit of spare time, and because we were travelling in this general direction and also because of the Favourite Points here, we decided to see what all the fuss is about. On arrival, we spent a bit of time in the garden, watched by a muggle in a nearby car. After about 10 minutes, it was Shazzar66 who made the sneaky find. No wonder it had received lots of FP's. Not the standard Systema container or Mint Tin, this cache. Love it.The log sheet had seen better days, so we added a spare sheet of paper, signed the log as "SADDLE Club" (standing for Shazzar66, AtTheLakeHouse, Duppers Delightful Leap Experience...or something), and replaced everything as found. Then, to confuse the muggle who was still sitting in his car, we pretended that we were looking elsewhere and that we couldn't find what we were looking for. No idea if he was even paying attention to us, but we pretended anyway. Thanks, The Rizzos, for the creative hiding place, which deserves a Favourite Point from me. Sorry for the late log, I had no FP's left and had to wait until I'd collected another one.
Our first cache found in Mt Gambier. And its a beauty too. Thank you. Thanks to the previous finder who left logpaper. All good and dry here.
We were in Adelaide for The Great Leap Forward (Mega-Event). After the event we made our way through to Mt Gambier, and cached a few random caches in the surrounding areas.I found your cache, Brass Monkey today. This is my 2946 find.Having a girlie trip with Duppers and At The Lake House. Signed as Saddle club to save room in the logbook. The Rizzos, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
TFTC. Rock was cool. We left him for the next to enjoy. Had to reset this cache due to it being scattered.. No log book.

Felt a bit funny grovelling in the spot. Lady came out and didn't seem me. Very clever cache. Tyftc.
Really well hidden, loved finding this one even though it didn’t take long
South East trip with the geo-pup. Day 9, around Mt Gambier and Mt Schank. Nice hide blends in well.

Another place that was quiet today - got to love New Year's Day for caching [8].
Looked in a few other places first before coming across something that didn't look quite right .

Thanks to The Rizzos.

SL at 1:25pm. What a miserable day to cache with DarthVader69 and MuggleMasterKid7. Wet weather gear needed. Gotta fill in time while the car is getting serviced.
*Someone needs to rectify the broken plumbing here!
*Log was completely saturated. Have provided a replacement log as best as I could. TFTC!

It is caches like this that keep wanting me to do more , such a clever container containing a very wet log - but I was out again with my bestie FlirtinWithDanger and she came prepared and stuck some more dry pages on..

It's nice when you can rectify a very old DNF. Found after a family event with the help of the spoiler photo as the hint had Owl elsewhere.
Nothing in there and the logbook was drenched, very clever though. My son loved trying to find it!
