A shame to see this one go as it was the first cache I ever found. All things must pass. I look forward to finding the new one when I get home from my latest trip.
Have looked and looked and thought and thought, but no luck!!! Is it still there?
Nice statue. Was sure I had the right place for the final and the hint fitted well, but didn't find the cache. Lots of muggles about so didn't want to ferret around in the garden.
This was the first multi we were to find in the Nelson area and I soon found out that unlike some of the multis in Wellington which can be quite time consuming the multis here can often be completed very quickly. Good for visitors who have limited time for caching. We found the answers quickly and relocated to GZ where the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
For the sake of sanity we set off with sonia26642 for a crazy geocaching trip, aiming to cache until we drop. The main destination was Nelson and the ‘surrounding’ area, but then we ended up covering a few miles in three northernmost regions, plus a few in Canterbury. We were signing/stamping the log as 'Team Polak' or ‘TP’ for the two of us on this trip to save logbook space. We found a lot of different caches, city ones, road side, park side, up a hill and on an island, and we enjoyed every single one of them. It was good to be a professional thingfinder for a few days!
The original plan for the day was to go hard out (when do we not though? ) and find max possible on the day. However, the weather forecast was not very appetising, with some high winds that could slow us down so we went a little easy…
We had great fun and are grateful to all CO’s who placed caches for us to find, and help restore our sanity before returning to our other non-geocaching lives!!

This was one of the most epic weeks ever, and definitely my most epic caching week ever.
Me and mum headed up on a holiday north to Nelson and very wider surrounds. In total during the trip, we found almost 500 caches! (470 odd I think, but final results are yet to be in! ) We covered about 3000 odd km I think too. Crazy! And had our absolute best caching day ever too at 160 found. Spend 9 days travelling, caching, and having the best time ever!!
So sorry about not so epic logs, as otherwise this would probably take me the rest of my life to log, especially with two big events to organise coming up! Eeek!!
Almost every single log we signed as 'Team Polak' to avoid needing to write out both usernames taking up space on logsheet - as well as precious caching time!! Haha.
Came this way for the public conveniences and found the cache too.

TFTC Found today whilst introducing my friend to geo- caching. she loves it!! Nice and easy multi1
A day of quick finds it seems. Had seen the sculpture many times but never really stopped to look at it, and had certainly not noticed the snails before. A quick tally of snails and a short stroll soon had me at the GZ but a muggle driver struggling with the laws of parking physics meant the grab and sign was done at a snail's pace.
Nice and easy multi on my personal one day of as many Kiwi-Nomade caches as I can find race. Thx
Driving around New Zealand with campervan. This was a nice and easy multi.
TFTC and greetings from Finland.

Those snails are our kinda pace! Found cache lying on the ground, so we hope we have put it in the correct position. Thanks KN
Lots of little kids around eating lollies on a hot summer evening. Probably thought I was a bit weird...
Got the necessary info to solve puzzle a while ago but coordinates seemed a little off. Recalculated today and found quickly on a bike ride
1st find for the day.
And also first Multi done on my own! My geo-caching partner normally hogs these ones to herself - so had appoint to prove - that I was more than just a "traditionalist"!!!
Great cache - and probably one of the easier ones by my favorite cache hider, Kiwi-nomad.
Awesome way to start a day of cache hunting!

Finally got around to finding this one, as it is close to home, and I wasn't disappointed!
I will probably end up checking this quite often as I walk up to the shops! Thanks.

Found with kyranspence, after figuring out the coordinates did a few laps of the building while the gps and controller sorted it out what was going on. Thanks for the puzzle
Caching with Holymu. We set out to just do one or two caches to finish a challenge. It turned out to be a very productive day with 17 logs signed without even trying other than staying in the sun and soak the autumn rays. TFTC
Set out with Hazedarus to do a couple of caches to complete a challenge and found by the time we called it quits for the day we had signed 17 logs which included some very clever caches. TFTC.
I came up for the weekend to visit my aunt in the rest home across the corner so popped over here to get this very nice wee puzzle cache. I love the snails! #82
I Found this With A Broken foot on a caching Trip With Family - me, Gracie7 + mum and dad, we did 101 Caches over the Easter weekend. Gracie7 has given me a list of every cache I have done with her that i have not logged, TFTC A special thanks to Gracie7 + Mum for the Log List, I Had Tink from the start but she was not a traceable back then
Found over Easter break with furpurse, Mum & Dad. #9/30 finds for the day, beating my previous record of 26 in one day.
Nice easy puzzle. Kids climbing all over the structure at listed coords so we were really glad we didnt have to look there. Immediate find at the final. TFTC

How hard can it really be to count snails? After looking, looking, looking in the wrong place time after time I finally rechecked and went to the right GZ for an easy find. Love the sculpture.
Tried picking this one up a few times before, but always too many muggles passing by. Finally managed to get it on a quiet sunday afternoon. TFTC

Another fun multi, Miss Geckoh enjoyed not only working out the answers but also the sculpture itself (which she photographed and had her photograph with). Nice quick find by Miss Geckoh and glad to find local conveniences open nearby.
We came to this cache from having eaten our tea nearby and enjoying watching some great little model airplanes flying! A most enjoyable evening! TFTC

Found while in Nz, now that I am back home can log this one and only in kiwiland. Nice snails
Nice little multi-cache that had me smiling - my mojo is back after 3 consecutive puzzle DNF's.
Only just noticed the title (duh!). Master five spied the cache first - kudos to him! Muggle free as he opened the log but as soon as it was opened we were joined by a bloke who clearly had the intention of eating his lunch there. Fortunately he was friendly and after chatting he knew what caching was all about, had even had a go and finding some himself, so no worries with replacing it. Tftc.
Haha we wrote down the puzzle a bit wrong and ended up with the wrong numbers for the co-ords but with skill we found the cache after a little guesswork. Cool little hiding spot.
Thought we would do this one quickly on our way home from school, but I stuffed up the coordinates and we found ourselves in the park over the road with my 10 month old chewing on dirty old cigarette butts LOL, got the coordinates right and this was a quick find.. TFTC
Nice sculpture and cache well place for easy retrieval despite being very busy nearby.

Loved the statue and passengers. Enjoyed getting the info (and taking photos.) Then the co-ord calculation and on to the final. No one about so an easy find was made. A fun Multi for our 2500th find. Thanks.

#1740 (8/16 on day 6 in Nelson). I see from previous logs that doingthis caceh is a popular alternative to supermarket shopping. TFTC.
StreetWalker collected the info and found the cache while I was doing some supermarket shopping earlier in the day. When I was finished, I attempted to find the cache then, but some smokers seemed to have taken up residence near GZ. Came back as dusk was approaching, and all quiet,so a quick grab.
TFTC.

This was one spectacular sculpture that really had Mrs Yeetrees very impressed with, found all the required info at GZ, then went around taking heaps of photos, before sitting down and solving the puzzle. The final was in the first spot that we checked, another nice little container. Thanks for bringing us to this very interesting multi, "LOVE IT", cool multi, TFTC TNLNSL (2428)
The others were off to the supermarket at 11ish and I thought this was worth a go - no muggles luckily. A short bit of maths then onto the final. Still no muggles, a lucky time of day perhaps? TNLN Thanks
Grabbed this and took it away to right in log, then had to wait for someone who decided to park right on top of it. Thanks for a free newspaper to break the boredom. Should introduce a new class of container size for this one. TFTC
(#90) Aha. Got it! Had muggle trouble with this one previously but everything fell into place this time. A quiet spot near lots of busyness. TFTC
Found with Sidewaze: Second time around - this time no muggles around. TFTC

its amazing what we miss. cant say ive ever seen these before. was only here yesterday as well.tftc
went looking for a handful, ended up with an eyeful of escargots.
Not sure if we counted correctly, as found final about 10m from where GPS was pointing, but logic prevailed.
Great wee cache.

Been meaning to do this one for a while. Had never taken the time to notice the snails on the statue before! TFTC.
This sculpture is a family favourite, and again a great opportunity for the junior Beansos to practise their maths skills. TFTC
Stopped at the supermarket for supplies and found it also a handy place to park for this cache. Quick find thanks. Loved the art work.
Visited the site twice before, but too many muggers. For third attempt settled on pub closing time, so we didn't look so conspicuous while lying on the ground!! A good little hide.
2383. A very interesting work of art – we appreciate the thought that goes into work such as this. A clever little multi – we loved it.
Thanks

Hmm, no luck finding this one. If it was hidden attached to the furniture I am pretty certain it's gone. If it was in the greenery it could still be there, I didn't have time or enough seclusion to go through it all!
Solved this one in late August but unfortunately the cache was missing then. This time it was a quick find. Thanks for reinstating the cache.
Looks like it gone missing again have replaced but may have to do a better hide if it goes again
