Our plan today was to travel down the Chapman Valley Road and pick up some caches along the way. Nice walk through the bush admiring all the colourful wildflowers. Took all 4 TB'S as they had been in the cache nearly 12 months. Time to move them on. Signed and replaced where found. Cache was in good condition. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Caching in the Greater Geraldton area today. Our intention for the day was to attack some power trails and do map cleanup around town.
Found the cache in amongst the masses of fresh diggings from what we think might be pigs in the area. Discovered a heap of trackables. Cheers Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder!

Day 2 Arrived in Gero last night. The plan today is to hit the series and caches around Gero. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches - sorry for the genetic log. Signing as GT
Found it. TFTC Team Pathfinder. Quick find here just before sundown. Replaced as found. Unloaded a few TB's
Quick find, little disappointed that there was nothing to trade in the container but we put some in for the next person
pug002 went to find this cache but couldn't find a track to it. Thanks anyway Team Pathfinder
Today we left Exmouth and headed for Geraldton. Had a good drive in and got in with good time, significantly shorter than the previous few days of driving which had been real marathons. It left us with some time to pickup a few local caches between exploring some of the local shops. Had a good afternoon seeing the town bustling on a Saturday arvo.
Had three weeks holiday so decided on a massive road trip to the most northern part of the state - the Kimberley. An area we have never explored, but had always been on the to do list. We travelled through the towns of Mount Magnet, Newman, Port Hedland, Broome, Halls Creek, Kununurra, back to Broome, Karratha, Exmouth, Denham, Geraldton and back home to Perth. It certainly was a very quick trip for the distance covered, over 8,000 kilometres in total, we saw a lot in such a short space of time, but barely scratched the surface of what’s out in these parts.
We would like to thank the individual COs for hiding the caches throughout these parts, from the towns to the highways and byways. Thank you for choosing to share these locations with us and we appreciate the effort you have gone to. Thanks for the fun.

Another lovely day, country wild flowers etc.. signed the log as EV and thanks for the cache and hide
Today we headed inland to look for the Moresby Range caches. Unfortunately when we arrived at the gate and rang the landowner he was not happy for us to proceed on his land as he had had difficulty with people other than geocachers enter and not doing the right thing.
Disappointed, but understanding we decide to continue on further inland and complete the loop through Nanson as an alternative so that all was not lost. We saw a wide expanse of green paddocks and yellow canola before entering patches of older land where wildflowers are just emerging. Should be spectacular in a few weeks!
This was a bit of a bush bash from the road to GZ where the find was made after a bit of wandering round.
No TBs here today!

On our way home from an Easter break in the Murchison our mission was to clean up another area on the map, happy to say we did just that here today TFTC
We took a drive up to do maintenance on our cache today, the weather was beautiful for a drive, the surrounding paddocks a picture of emerald greenery.
We have completely replaced the cache with a larger container, we have stocked it with travel bugs.
We have also decided to change the terrain rating as tracks in aren't obvious these days.

Found while enjoying an extended break in Geraldton from my travels. A quick find even though there appeared to be dome digging in the GZ and surrounding area. Not sure what did the digging but it appeared to be animal rather than man made. The cache was not effected by the digging. The cache is in a poor state, the container is on it's last legs and needs replacing. the content including the log are still OK. TFTC.
Headed out early this morning with iluvtrekking with Nanson and surrounds as our destination. Of course there were other various locations to explore along the way and some great caches. Great location with lots of wildflowers. Could see cars up on higher ground but no idea how they accessed that area. Walked the 100 + mts through the scrub to gz to make easy find. Container is in need of attention. Thanks Team Pathfinder
Headed up to Geraldton for 4 days to try and find as many caches as we could. Its been 6 months since we were last there and there has been so many new caches come out that we will need another trip there to find them all. We ended up finding 215 and about a dozen DNFS. We picked a few up on the way and did a detour on the way home to Mullewa and i must say the wildflowers are beautiful at the moment. We found a great variety of caches including a couple of wherigo,s, lots of field puzzles, multi,s and the highlight for the hubby was doing the chirp cache. I would like to say all caches were found quickly but that definately wasnt the case lol.... There was some very tricky and sneaky hides that took quite a while to find with a few we went back a couple of times to till we found them. We managed to find a few that we previously had DNFS on and it was was great finding a lot of creative cache containers especially some of the field puzzle ones. Thanks to everyone for the caches and hope to find a lot more on our next trip to geraldton....
Nice spot for a geocache and great area for wildflowers in the spring. Nice views. TFTC. Container is brittle.
Got to GZ (according to my GPSr) and dived onto a very likely spot, but no luck. Hmmm, I thought, I'll just sit down on this rock and review my notes. Having done so, I looked up and there it was, right in front of me. In the end, a nice easy find. TNLNSL, TFTC Ian&Sue
A huge kangaroo hopped right past GZ and scared the daylights out of me. Cool location. Cache needs replacing. Love how the ships look like they are sitting on the land TFTC
Nice cache. Plenty of cockroaches as well, but I rebuilt their home before I left.
I'm not sure how I have missed something so big anyway, I've run out of daylight so time to return to the car
Scratchy walk in with a three year old on my shoulders. Cache is in good condition.
This was our 7th cache find in a caching run of 10 Finds & 1 DNFs today.
We found it at 12:07 so this now makes our total find count 7173.
[blue]
We loved the stroll to the cache. At first sight it looks like rough going (similar to Howatharra), but once on the move it was really easy to avoid all the prickly bits.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Good (Around 4 metres).
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Car.
Thanks Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder for the hunt today.

Found it but alas it was very wet Tipped water out the new book very wet so signed old book turned container upsidedown to keep water out Thank you Ian & Sue Team Pathfinder
TFTC Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder. A little out of the way this one as we head up the highway towards Carnarvon. Well worth the deviation as it is a fantastic view of the rolling hills. Bit of a bush scramble but we soon had the prize in hand. Signed log, TNLN.
On our way to Exmouth with our caravan. We particularly needed to do this one to add to our list for "well travelled and aged geocacher" where we need one cache for every 10km. Nice bush bash through lots of wildflowers and feral pig damage. Tftc
I headed out on this beautiful afternoon scouting for a location along the highway for a new ammo can cache and thought whilst in this neck of the woods, i'd look for you cache.
I must have driven passed this road a million times while roadtraining loads up and down the north west coastal highway, but ive never once been down it! This is a beautiful spot! The views of the surrounding famland all green is second to none! As I made my way into the cache, there was alot of signs of feral pigs devistating the native bush, they've been digging around and eating the wildflowers etc, its a real shame the authorities dont have the resources to control them around here, and they are as safe as houses from average joe like myself while they are in a nature reserve. I carried on, pushing my way thru the scrub straight to GZ. after signing the log, i sat to enjoy the refreshing breeze and enjoy the view....i didnt attempt the mountain climb, after "not you average run of the mill", i was somewhat sheepish! thanks for bringing me here Ian and Sue, another great cache in a lovely spot! thankyou! lost_but_happy!

There is a fair bit of scratched earth within a couple of metres of the cache. Looks like some sort of machine has been close. As we uncovered the cache about 6 cute little striped beetles ran for cover. Left a beetles fridge magnet peg, TN. Thanks.
Needs a few more visitors so there is a GeoTrack to follow [xx(] scratchy bushes. No sign of trains yet.
Located after walking around in circles for 15 minutes trying to get a fix on the Tom Tom. Finally got one which put my grand daughter right on to it. The cache is in good shape, took out the party balloons which had perished. TNLNSL. Plenty of wildflowers and flies.
Thanks Ian and Sue
Thanks Ian and Sue
We took the short drive down the dirt road and did our best to avoid the soft edges when we parked up (yep we have been bogged in similiar terrain before!), we then took the walk out to the cache. We walked past it at first but backed tracked a little to see what we were after. Great spot, great hide....thanks heaps.
Staying with friends nearby and continuing on our cache a day streak Diane went for a drive and then a pleasant stroll to gz for a nice easy find.
Thanks again Ian&Sue-Team Pathfinder for the cache

Pulled off the main drag to find this one. A good spot to look at the ancient hills.
Nice spot just up the road that I didn't know existed. Farmers gun shots made us a little nervous. Airpower & AJ
Had a muggle farmer (land owner?) watching us closely so we had to creep about low in the bush to get the cache. He was a long way off but jumped in his car and drove up and down the road trying to find us. TNLNSL in a hurry. After he went past we dashed out to the bus and took off. Quite exciting, really. TFTH
Thanks for the hunt we probably should have come to it from the north side instead of coming up the hill. Got a few scratches along the way but was rewarded with the find. Wild flowers still plentiful much to our surprise. TFTH TNLN SL Regards Grey Nomadz
We planned a roadtrip from Perth to Exmouth and we had our eye a few caches and this was one of them. Took nothing and signed the log. Left balloon, coin and our calling card. Easy find and a nice spot. TFTH & TFTC
found cache late arvo and got some great pics of the wildflowers as well thanks for the cache

Geocaching, it works really arround the world mate!
In two month in a bushcamper from the tropic north of Darwin down to freezing Perth.
I like bulldust and corrugations, 4WD driving, serious rivercrossings and bush camps off the beaten track.
OK I like also the wildflowers too...
Australia is really a great country and people are so nice (OK, sometimes hard to understand )
Aussies keep it that way!
Thank you for the Cache.

We found it without problems but it needed a makeover.
The cache looks like it has had a lot of water running through it as its on a slight low point and it may have been sitting in a temporary stream.
We hear that its been very wet recently in Geraldton.
We replaced the container with a Klip-it (the old cache container will get recycled into another cache under better cover or we can hand it back later ) and placed some rocks under the container so its off the genaral ground area.
We added a new log book and put the old one on its own Zip lock bag.
It should be fine now we think.
The views are spectacular and the wildflowers are looking good (see our attached photo)
We will have to come past here later to see what develops in this part of the country.
Thanks for a great cache as always

This really is a serene spot. Lovely to visit especially at the end of the day when the golden rays of sunshine enhanced the beauty of the table top hills. We saw some flowers but can only imagine it would be that much better in the appropriate wildflower season. We found the cache after a short search and took the travelbug. Thanks Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder

Third cache on the way to Geraldton. One of these places where we would have never been to if it wasn't for the cache. No sign of the coin in the cache. Quick find after a little bushbashing.

Tango followed a couple of kangaroo tracks up to the cache while Cupcake stayed down on the road looking at wildflowers. A quick logging and we were off. No sign of the GC.
We were on a Long trip trough a beautiful Australia. Unfortunatly without internet. So the log is a little behind the time...
Thanks for the nice cache!

Found it after finding small tracks to follow through the scratchy bush. Certainly lots of flies to distract one while looking under bushes and rocks. TNLN TFTH.
I cant believe that sombody walked all the way through the scrub to hide s csche unless it was done during the wildflower season then it would have been great.

What a great view! Took the opportunity to DRIVE up the hill (not to the very top mind you). Past the local farmers olive trees and up to the water tank to discover a table and chairs and potbelly stove set up. Obviously for the owner to wine and dine his/her guests/partner with the fantastic views back to the coast as the sun sets.... Took photo of friends/family who were also in attendance.
Found cache easily - isn't it amazing that in the middle of nothing here is a hidden cache! Didn't see the CC Geocoin but left Einstein TB.
Thanks for the opportunity to get out and about Team Pathfinder

Took a scratchy path through the bush straight to GZ. Way too hot today to even think of climbing the nearby mountain. Signed the log and retreated back to the air conditioned comfort of the geomobile.

An easy find, after a short walk through natural scrub full of small and colourful flowers. I had left my fly net back in the car (bad idea) and paid the price in full. TN-LN-SL. Thanks to Ian and Sue for the cache.
