I couldn't find it but I think it may have been removed, moved or waged away but tide
Ftf the repacement cache. Got muddy feet and ruied my shoes but worth it for the view of the estury. dropped a tb. Tftc
Replaced the cache with a new one and in a slightly different place. There's a waterproof logbook now, so no more soggy pages!
Updated clue too...

In the area today and as we were so close decided to locate this cache which fitted nicely with the tide!!! Spent quite a considerable time searching and finally found in a place not as indicated in the clue. Log soaking wet and spring rusting, signed paper left by previous logger. Will e-mail cache owner!! TFTC
Took a bit of hunting to find this one. As a previous log said, the hint is no real help but I didn't read that until I'd climbed up and over and under for about 5 mins. When I finally found the cache the log book was completely soaked so I couldn't turn any pages so I put a fresh piece of paper in. But it won't stay dry. Will log a needs maintenance to the CO. TFTC.
Met up with mike-miss for some early morning caching, before catching up with others to do the Okura Bush/Weiti River trail. I couldn't find the cache following the hint, but mike-miss soon pointed me in the right direction. A nice spot, TFTC!
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.

Second time here after a first try. Walked right to it this time. Thanks to mike-miss for an extra hint. TFTC
After completing the Long Bay trail we headed out here for a few more caches before heading for home. Arrived at the end of the road only to find a carload of young muggles all parked up having a smoke. Decided i would head back to the car and wait them out.
Not long after, another car headed down and parked up... Kept on waiting patiently and all cars left so i was free to go on my cache hunt. Enjoyed the climbing over the Pohutukawa limbs to get to GZ without wet feet. Cache took a few moments to locate as the hint doesnt relate to the cache find anymore. Logbook a little damp but still signable. TFTC!

Found without getting wet as tide low. Possibly some cache creep as hint doesnt seem to match actual location, but coordinates seemed accurate? TFTC.
Our first stop of the day and the view made it totally worth the drive (plus the cache at the end). t4tc
Having not read the instructions fully, I didn't realize that the tide could have an effect on the accessability of the cache. Luckily the tide was out so it was an easy find in the end. Log book was soaking wet though.
Took a round trip to this one, climbed down but with low tide was able to walk back along the shoreline. Nice spot. Although spied a yacht with only the mast visible, seems its sunk. Neighbour said it had only been like that for a few days... Took TB can come to Taupo with us next week. SL. TFTC.
Found it, Dropped off Private Duckie TB and picked up a LizardToadz decypher coin! Nice Cache, thanks!
Have kayaked from here a few times.. Saw some horses with rider playing in the river near by. No problems finding.

Was out for a scenic drive with some geocaching thrown in and head down this way unsure of the tides. In the end it was low tide and we got there just fine. Lovely spot down by the water watching the boaties coming in and out. TFTC. Dropped off TB.
The tide was out, so I put the jandals into 4wd and raced across the sand/mud. Quick and easy find. Thanks.
2nd find with my muggle friend. Cache was a little exposed so tried to hide a little better. TFTC
[Nice to visit Okura Estuary again, with the tide well out. TFTC. ] The stairs up the cliff near the cache connect back up to Okura River Road if you want to go back a different way (or the tide is well in)
Well i'm up there, in the wrong sort of shoes for climbing (note to self - read cache note before leaving car, where the decent shoes are, not on the way to GZ), stretched out to reach cache when my cell phone rings, I jumped and almost fell off. You have to realise that my phone doesn't ring, the occasional text from my adult daughter, (when she wants the car or money), but generally no one rings me. I have it for emergencies, like if I injure myself while caching! - Frog, + bracelet. TFTC
3.35pm. Tide out, showers coming in. Nice wander along the estuary. A few muggles - people, a horse and four spoonbills feeding out on the estuary. Found readily.

Arrived late in the afternoon to see all the horse riders returning from their day out and about. Luckily it was low tide so a quick walk and we had the cach in our hands T4TC.
We fluked the timing of the tide, it was dead low. even saw some kids crossing the river from the shelly bar on the northern side. (please be careful if you try this).
Easy find, cool spot, TNLN, Cheers.

Hmmm... was tempted to take my pulsar around and make this a driveby cache... but Mrs Clan Fraser talked me out of it. Nice hide TFTC
Parked nearby and got to the cache with the tide lapping at the trees.
Not ventured down here before.
Left an LED torch
TFTC and another nice view

Quick find after getting our feet wet. Thought it would be a shame to go home since we were already there so braved the incoming tide.

14:15 Wow what a great location, never been here before. Will have to return with Kayaks at some point. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
1600 hrs...Here on vacation with son, SubZero (Shane) from Lancaster, CA. Staying with Roger who lives on this road. Walked the 1.5 miles to the cache. Roger found within 10 seconds of locating GZ. Great location!

Lovely weather today, Good Friday. Never been here before and didn't know what to expect. Some muggles were sitting on the tree so went and lay down on the shingle. Horses, van and motorcyles passed us!! (No kayakers though!). Very tranquil place, enjoyed it TFTC
Great spot for a cache. Swimming and kayak muggles did not pose a problem. TFTC
Had to wait for four 9-10 yr old boys and their dog which was just about as tall as them to leave the GZ before I could locate it. They finally left and the container was soon in my hands.

Arrived here just as team Tramper Ted and St O were making their way back along the waters edge. Had a quick chat and off to the cache for an easy find and just mannaged to keep my boots dry!! Nice spot - see pic

Considered an early morning attempt on this one, but decided nah, sleep in instead - turns out an FTF would have been easy, btu that's cool. This is a really lovely spot, and great obviously for kayaking, etc. Misjudged the tide and went for a coooooooold wade to the cache site where the cache was spotted within seconds.

Found with St Ouens, so a joint FTF to our surprise. Thought some of the night owls would have been down here before now. Great views. Tide on the way in, but no problem. Gr8dad roared up in his 4WD as we left so had a quick chat, then off for coffee and muffins. TFTC
