Nice area. WP1 is just about had-it - rusty container, top rusted off. However final co-ordinates still readable. Final container is a great hide. SL TFTC
Awesome disguise! T4TC.
Oh and there's ants... LOTS OF ANTS.
I had 'em crawling up my arms, just trying to access the log book.

Well can't believe we didn't realise the final one was within walking distance of the first one when we found it 3 days ago... duh! Can you tell we're new at this!?
This time took the steeper route to it, oh my! it really gets those calves working!
Excellent hide, very impressed.

The lid comes off very easily as it's rusted through, you may want to replace container altogether? It's letting water in and the piece of paper that is the log is rather wet and is disintegrating... [xx(]
[ Finally after an hour searching and just before giving up ( at 1300 NZST), Eureka !!. First WP very fast with GPS "spot on",
The final had me stumped, ready to give up, GPS all over the place:: There is a lot of thought, planning and effort put into " Glyn's" caches. and I feel pleased when "we" succeed in 'found-it' . Thanks for another interesting cache. ]

Quickly found WP1 and then headed off for the final. Final container very well done. Fitted in very well with the surrounding area. Great views from up here. TFTC
Fantastic day to admire the view-local kids having a ball sliding down hill on cardbaord.Qwik find -tftc
This one showed up on our GPS and we didn't realise it was a multi till another friendly geocacher turned up and asked us if we were geocaching too! They knew the location of the second so gave us clues as well. Awesome views from up there!
great day. took awile to anderstand clues but after found caches quite quick. took travel bug and place a coin. TFTC and view.
Hmmm... so 5 muggles in the back yard of the house next to first way point. GPS had me a little ways off but wasn't able to search much due to the inquisitive neighbors. I hung around for about 40mins hoping they would leave (It looks like potential buyers for the house) but In the end I needed to "phone a friend".(Thanks Tracey!! ) The final was a very nice hide... but reasonably easy to find as I am getting used to your hides... TFTC
Enjoyable multi with a great view. Camo on the final had me fooled for a while. Well done and thanks for making the effort in hiding this one.
1190 What a great multi, even in the rain, it was most enjoyable! Thanks for time and effort spent in setting this cache up for others to enjoy.
Great views from GZ and we were sure we spotted some fish in the water below. Nice easy multi and more great camo. T4TC.
Found this one with some of my friends. Was a quick find after getting a hint from the owner TFTC. IN Fishing Line and T/B OUT Highlighter.
Quick multi for our last day in the area. Camo had me going for a while but got it sorted. TFTC
Spent the day with Kiwicouple gathering caches North of Auckland.
An interesting spot for this multi. Took a bit of hunting at several of the waypoints. Had almost given up on the final. Tricky!
Thanks.

Enjoyed this multi. Our 22nd find of our shortest day run. Had us searching for both the waypoint and the final, but we got there in the end. Clever hide! Fantasic views over the fence and down the cliff. Thanks for showing us this spot.

2694. The cliff is something else!! It was school holidays and the local children were amusing themselves by rolling down the hill on flattened cardboard boxes. It was good to see them enjoying themselves out in the fresh air.
Thanks

2.50pm. Hard slog up that slippery slope. Easy multi when we got there. Final was not in place but we placed it where it belongs.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
found with Superfrench ,entered the park from the lower road (don't think this is a entrance ) so it was a big climb to WPT1. took a while to find especially in full veiw of neighbours . final was easier . didn't need to go past dog. TFTC
A very picturesque location for a cache...don't forget your camera. Cammo on cache well done. TFTC
Well done, Glyn, on another good camo job.
Great views back to Auckland framed by pohutukawas.
Cheers for the cache.

Back for second attempt - after reading about the camouflage in the logs I realised we'd been staring straight at it last time we visited. I have to say this is a seriously good disguise - no wonder it hasn't been muggled! Well done Glyn!

No trouble finding the first micro-cache, but scouted everywhere around the coords for the main cache for 40m mins without success. If it's there, it's well concealed. But is it still there?
Another classic camo job Glynn, well done on that one. Great views over the inner Gulf. One day if I work really hard at my job, gaining promotion through skill, effort and dedication and huge hours , then win the Powerball, maybe I'll buy a house here.
Retrieved the two TB's.
Retrieved the two TB's.
have found that this cache game is not so much for me at the moment so I have dropped off two TB's for others to enjoy at this convienent cache.
One is in a plastic bag tied to the cache. so I hope they are both retrieved very soon.
Happy Cacheing. P.s. The View is Amazing.

1.00pm. Managed to find a road not on the map to get closer to WP1. Great views from here! Final fell without a hitch even if my GPSr was still saying 9m[?][?]
A previous finder had knocked one of the clips off the container, but I managed to fix it so alls good.

I seem to be following the pud around today in the oppisite direction.
Wp1 took some finding , a family nearby made searching difficult but found it (great views)
WP2 was even closer to them but they were having fun sliding down the bank on boogie boards and didn't notice.
I have made one similar to this but smaller , another excellent hide.

That is sure some drop on the other side of the fence, more than happy to stay on the right side of it. No dastardly dogs heard today. Very impressive camo indeed.

#741. That dang dawg! The sound of its demented barking echoing round the hills accompanied my searching efforts and made me think everyone was watching.
Nevertheless the cache fell without too much trouble. But I have to say, I'm going to give up aspiring to create a novel cache - that was just classic. TFTC.

That dog must be wondering why there are so many people going past his house! He was quite vocal while we were there too. Admired the views at Wpt 1 and made a quick find at the final. As usual - great camo!

We, too, had a constant commentary from the nearby chocolate coloured dog. Changed to a nasty growl as we neared him.
Great cache. First waypoint useful in determining the route up there. Final an excellent concealment. Enjoyed the views, but wondered why the hole in the fence?
Left Butterfly's buttefly #3 gecoin to begin it's journey.

What a Great Hide, found first part quite easily but second and final was very well hidden. Things arn't always as you see them. I can confirm there is absolutely no need to make way to edge of cliff or go down cliff.
Nice vistas all right, had fun watching Gannets fishing below. No sign of the neighbour today, but the dog drove us mad, barking the whole time we were in the park.

Curiosity finally got the better of the neighbour who wondered what the attraction was to this particular part along the cliff, so I had to explain.

Quick find, nice camo work for the final. Hopefully the camo will fool the inquisitive neighbour, who apparently must have watched our every move. Luckily GZ is not in direct sight of his lounge, however he did move into another room to get a better view. We think we fooled him by staying in the shadows. BTW nice houses and nice views. Agree with TT, watch out for the mad dog sticking it’s head through the fence.

Well, the neighbours will have a great view of all this going on, and the mad dog barking with its head well through the fence didn't help! Lots of $$$ been spent round here, presumably contributing to Glyn's bank balance as well. Good camo, nice views. TFTC
Got to this one with FMZ and his friend. After about 4 minutes, the owner of the house we where shining our torches into, came out. He asked " Can I help you guys?", I could just see his out line up on the balcony. We answered him with silence. He repeated his question. FMZ explained what we where up to, and we all huddled around the cache print out hoping he would go away. He did. After awhile we decided to ring glyn and ask him about the cords. At that time he thought they where correct, and gave us an idea of where the cache was. FMZ found wp1 and we where off.
Got to GZ and we soon had the cache in hand

Well... what can I say...
Google Earth's idea of where WP1 was and our GPS's agreed, and it was a rather inaccessible spot somwhere on the cliff in front of some houses... Ok, thought maybe, just maybe Glyn had done something totally out of character and got the coords wrong.
As TWS said, we got interrogated by a neighbour, but I explained we were doing a "crazy adventure sport" that has us "going to weird places in the middle of the night". He found that amusing so I quizzed him about the cliff in front of his property only to confirm my suspicions that the WP1 could not be there.
TWS got him on the phone (only cos the coords seemed so far wrong - otherwise FTF's should really be done with no private hints) and he was sure they were right. We decided to have a search anyway and within minutes I had WP1 in my hand... about 50 or 60 metres or so from the posted coordinates - but hey what's 50 metres... in the dark... next to a cliff...
Got the coords and we were off to the final cache. Arrived there and had the cache spotted in seconds. Dislodged it but I couldn't quite reach it so TWS did some gymnastics and we had it in our hands.
A very nice view I'm sure Thanks for the cache.
Another co FTF with TWS.

Thanks!
