We are fairly certain we were at GZ but no cache there.

Looks like there is no container is what is the most likely hide.

May have been Muggled, found a likely looking spot but no cache. Check out picture and see what you think.

On my first day in Hobart I did a little geocaching/ sightseeing tour around town. It's always nice and cheap and you know that locals hid the caches so you get to see some interesting places that are not necessary in your travel guide.
From what I saw I can say that I really like Hobart. It's just the right size not too busy and not too quiet. I hope I can see some more of the surrounding area and the rest of Tasmania.

My first Tasmania cache!! On holidays from Queensland for a week visiting my home town Beautiful views from the nearby parking location, and a nice little walk through the bush to grab this cache. I left a geocoin which I brought down from the sunshine state. TFTC.

Day 15 of 31 Days of Geocaching.
Quick lunchtime find! Parked near the cache site and when I got out the the car my GPS said "33 meters straight ahead", so I walked about 33 meters, and it still said "33 meters straight ahead" with no change despite clear skies and little tree coverage. So I had a look around, spotted a likely place for a hide and found the cache immediately. Yay! Nice to find such a big box after all the micros I've found lately - the bottom of the box is cracked though so could do with replacing. TFTC!

The weather was nowhere near as nice as yesterday but managed to do a couple more on the Domain with The Goose. I had my geo-senses switched on today but the size of the caches helped too. TFTC.

A session of lunchtime caching with the Bear. He was certainly on track today and found this one quickly. I grabbed a TB that has only been there for seconds........TFTC

Quick easy find on lunch break

No coins or travel bugs in this one - but very pretty smelling candles! Came up just before sunset and found it after following the orienteering trails. TFTC

Yep, top views for the empty cars to admire. The "animal" tracks led us straight to GZ. Could have done this one "BFE style" (if you're from Adelaide you'll know what I mean). Sad to see that the coin exchange was rather bereft & bankrupt of TB's though. Maybe all the above statements are mutually complementary.

Nice quiet spot for this - except when people are parking nearby for work and I guess the same at knock-off time. I only had to dodge 1 muggle car-parker off to work.

We decided to try and find Coast Radio Hobart on the Domain and took a walk from Constitution Dock where we are berthed for a week. What better thing than to combine a walk with a bit of caching!
Found the cache easily. Took a bag and left a ball. Thanks for the cache Snuva.
As previously mentioned there are no TBs in the cache and, on reading the logs, it seems that they have been missing for quite a while - maybe its time to list them as missing?

Easy find but cache was looking a bit empty. Took nothing, left some scented candles, a lanyard, post-it notepad, erasers. Unfortunately this is the only area of the Domain I saw with lots of litter and I didnt bring a bag.

#86 - 18:50; Quick drop in with Bronte14 to swap a GC. As there were none here and the possibilty it had been muggled, decided to keep Canada's Capital Cachers Geocoin a bit longer and look for a safer drop off.

Wow, nice views! Found it together with geokid. Happy to see such a big container. Took 2 GCs, left 2 TBs. TFTC Snuva!

Grabbed a couple of quick caches in the domain before heading off to the New Year's evening event in Rosny. I sent my partner out into the wilderness of bushes and prickles to fetch it! Not a whole lot of TB's or coins in the cache; not that we're very interested in them these days anyway, though the pathtag did excite me, and I swapped it for one of my own. Thanks for the cache!

Great views. Surprised at how dry Hobart is. Lots of small creatures scurrying about. Left 2 TBs and Aussie Traveller coin which I collected in error and aren't into. Thanks for the find.

My last day in Hobart and I noticed some TBs here so I came along and took three of them where I could help them in their quest. I kept overhearing voices at GZ and then later on realised it was the tannoy system for a nearby athletics meet! Signed log, took 3 TBs and replaced cache as found. TFTC and greetings from the UK.

#144 a nice quick cache... We love cache with heaps of tbs, and this one didn't disappoint. We noticed this cache while in the botanical gardens, and we werent going to let it get away. We stopped our van at the parking lot, and all saw the beatiful views. It is very nice there. But, there was a cache to be found so off we went.we started going the complete wrong way but the GPS soon let us know, so we turned around and were soon at GZ. The cache was almost immediately located, and we took it back to the car with us for the tb exchange party. We took all the tbs that we're in there (5) and replaced them with (5) more. That was a good trackable day for us. A nice cache Snuva.

This is another cache for our Vic/Tas trip, so hello from Townsville, QLD. TBs enjoyed their visit.

Good cache on a ride round the Domain. Raided several geocoins which will turn up in New Zealand in the next week or two.

I had commitments next week in Hobart, So it was a quick and easy decision to head across early for sightseeing and caching long weekend.. So it was all planned.. I started at Hobart Airport early on Saturday and was loosely en route to the International Geocaching Day event (GC3RMH6) in Hobart. I later headed as far south as South Tasmania 1 (GC408). I had a blast taking in not only the caches but also the sights and sounds. My apologies to the cache owners for my very generic logs, Lots of caches were awesome, however all deserve more than this boring paragraph that I'm devoting.. I picked out lots of drive bys, however also slowed down for the odd multi or puzzle (solved in the field). Thanks to all cache owners for the wonderful caches, great locations and views and all the effort that has gone into the hides. I have taken a bunch of photos and will upload them in the coming week or so.. Back home now I'm slowly catching up on the logging.. I am looking forward to another tip back accross the straight to collect a whole lot of caches that I overlooked. Finds mostly fit into the #2800 - #2900 range.. Thanks for the cache

Found on my last day in Tassie after a weeks work, and before returning to the Mainland. Definately pleased I had the opportunity to do this one in daylight. Followed the geotrail, and had the cache in hand quickly. Logged and returned, and headed back down the slope to where I'd parked the car, to enjoy the magnificent views from here. Thanks to Snuva. No swaps made.

No trackables in cache, but left 2 to start their journey. The largest cache we've found in Taz.

It's a challenge doing geocache maintenance with a bub, so even though today was sweltering hot and I forgot my swaps I did partial maintenance here as it needs it so desperately. New cache container, log, and pen are out. I need to dry out the old cache and see if there are any surviving bugs. Then I'll return with them and swaps hopefully next weekend.

GeoCheryl (Mum) & I parked way down the road for this one, so it was a bit of a walk up hill...and realising that I am not as fit as I was a few months ago, due to all the eating over the summer holidays and the lack of physical activity. Anyway, we found our way to GZ & I was very quick to locate the cache. TFTC Snuva TNLN It a little more easy walking back down the hill to where we left the car!!

Found the cache nice and fast on a nice but partly overcast day. the cache is wet right through however, we did manage to sign the log but it is very soggy, it is in need of urgent attention TFTC Snuva

Very wet, and smells. Desperately needs a cleaning and probably a replacement container. Great location, though!

Was fun to find but box was really wet so couldn't write in it. Lots of cute treasure in the box from other visitors!
