**Day 1, Great Victorian Cache Crawl 2024 (GVCC)**I am travelling with Connie of [@ConnieandRick](https://coord.info/PR15PZNT) on day 1 of the GVCC, and after attending a breakfast event in Sunbury we rose to the occasion and came up here to check out the panorama. Even on this dreary somewhat rainy (but trying to be sunny) day, the view is indeed wonderful. We parked in the nearby driveway, but got told off by the site worker as trucks are always coming in and out he says. Looks like someone is building their castle in the adjacent lot. I hope they dont block the view!We rushed down to GZ, and after searching a likely host (but finding nothing), I quickly glanced around to what my GPS was pointing at. Doh! It was then that I realised the hint was leading us astray. It all made sense now! Not long after we were signing the log and replacing as found. Thanks Team Ladava for placing and keeping this vintage hide going. Cache on *Throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Thanks for your caches Team Ladava and for keeping them going for all these years. I can only imagine how this landscape has changed since you first placed it.regardskbucky
LetThemEatCache and I made this our first stop after the 7am cache crawl event. We looked in the wrong place for a whole, but LTEC had the right idea to get the log.
Out picking up some local targets. Nice location! Thanks for placing your caches over the years Team Ladava.
I was a little concerned about the hint but approached with a tool I hoped would help. On inspection I thought, that's not so bad, only to almost face plant into the area on retrieval! Log signed and more care taken with the return repeating the mantra "don't fall off" to my glasses. The lid of the cache is broken. It still closes but is not weatherproof. TFTC
Out in the PeuGEOt today with little Geocache hunting in our old home area of Gisborne/Sunbury.Cache lid is broken.TFTC
One of my favourite caches is an old one so this was a bonus. The view wasn't very clear today but at least there was a view to be seen. Thank you for bringing us here with this cache and for maintaining it for so long.
Unfortunately, it was not a clear day although we could still see for quite some distance. Nice quick find. Thank you for placing this cache for us to find and for pointing out the view.
I needed a couple of attempts to find a nice safe location to park for this one and once there I left the geopooch in the geomobile for safety. After a stroll through wet grass I quickly sussed out where the cache was but took a little longer to grab it. I am a little surprised that it has lasted there so long, but I admire the hide.I lucked out with the weather for this trip. I arrived just after the last of the heavy rain and although some clouds threatened it remained dry for the rest of the day, albeit quite muggy. The same could not be said for the ground which was soaking wet with water flowing everywhere, gravel and soil washed over tracks and roads, and everything else washed clean and fresh.Subbury Panorama is find number 3,293 for me. A great small traditional cache I enjoyed finding as part of a caching outing to the Riddells Creek, Gisborne and Sunbury area. Unless otherwise mentioned above, I found the coordinates to be accurate, the cache in good condition and the log dry and with plenty of room to sign. I am logging this one on Wednesday 27 Dec 2023 but I actually found it yesterday. Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy Team Ladava.Found with Geooh GO
Sorry for the very late log. I forgot to come back and finish my cache logging this day.Grand final Public Holiday and with my team the mighty Tigers not so mighty this year I had arranged with AusFox; to go out caching for the day. We thought it best to stay clear of Melbourne for the day and decided the caches around Long Forrest would be a good place to start our day. What a Beautiful day to be out caching with the sun shining it was almost too hot out here in the bush.Thank you Team Ladava for the find
What a glorious day to head out caching with SimsFamily starting out at Long Forest through Gisborne and back home through Diggers finding great caches on the way.A great location to take in the view.Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the traditional cache Team Ladava #7,580
On our way to Opening Night in Macedon, wasn’t easy as dusk came in but got there in the end. Tftc
Out and about with Echidna44, we were targeting caches around the Sunbury area. This is a very clever hide. It was lucky that Echidna44 had found this cache on a previous trip, otherwise it would have taken me much longer to sniff it out. An excellent hiding place.
Out in Sunbury and Diggers Rest today enjoying the wonderful weather and finding some caches. Ventured everywhere I could up hills and along trails. Had a great day and found lots of smileys. TFTC
✓ Kurung thanks you for the cache!

Zooming past to complete the rest of the traditionals I haven't found in Sunbury yet. Was puzzled for some time as to where it could be, and then an idea struck. I was right!

Whittlesea Event trip. Day 9. Caching today with bushfire and brisal5.
We spent much time at the tree reaching upwards with our long arms to no avail. We couldn’t see the actual hiding spot due to the ping grass.
I found your D1.5/T1.5 Small Traditional called Sunbury Panorama at 16:54 on 22 November 2022. It was find #16460 for me. Thank you Team Ladava for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Victoria.

Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 9: We went to Sunbury for the afternoon
Once again myself and Anymules were in Victoria on our way to a Mega event. We made a detour via Geelong and picked up Bushfire. It had been three years since we last all cached together. [^] Today we set out for Sunbury for the afternoon with a pub meal at the local pub. Many caches were found and unless something stood out these will be generic logs.
Took way too long after wading through the long wet grass. But we go there. After barking up the wrong trees we expanded the search and found the cache. Luckily I have long arms.
***Thanks Team Ladava for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

TFTC, parking was easier, and cool cache! A really nice one here and good views!
I have driven past this spot at least a few hundred times, however not in the past 10 years or so. It was nice to stop by a part of Sunbury that still looks the same. With boys in tow we walked through the wet ground to GZ where Aysen climbed in for for hide. Great GZ and a lot of fun, thanks!
With our gameboard now extended to include regional Vic, RoamingHowie and I decided to go explore the Sunbury & Riddells Creek area.
Awesome views!
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Team Ladava

Now that travel restrictions have been lifted it is time to venture out into the countryside again. Out and about targeting some caches and adventure labs that have been on the list for a while.
A cool view from this location. Had the right “TOTT” ie me!
Thanks Team Ladava for the cache.

KoalaKangaroo and I are out again today snagging caches. Great location! Thank you!
Out and about with 80 degrees clearing out some in the north. This one was for me only as Mrs 80 had already done it. Quick find and moved on. Thanks for the cache Team Ladava
Found it
After a mammoth geocaching outing on Saturday, we decided to spend the days on 'drive-bys. We saw a new new bonus Adventure lab drop in Sunbury/Riddles Creek area and thought that it fitted the bill. But there was a long drive from the SE Suburbs to get to there. We decided to make a dash for it, and if we missed it, we had it on good authority from the Riddles that the area was very interesting to explore.
Once we had grabbed the bonus cache, we then set off to enjoy the other pleasures of Riddles Creek and snaffled a few other geocaches along the way. This geocache was one of those that we grabbed after having a lovely lunch around the lake in Riddles Creek.

Out for a drive, we stopped in a safe place once we had found access.
The cache is well hidden and dry. Thanks Team Ladava

Third cache for the day. Heading to Maryborough for a few days to be with my mum. Landed in Melbourne and picked up a hire car. We needed to pick up a few selective caches to help with the “Mystery at the Museum”. Great views.

Cache found all good and in order. All sorta creepy crawlies up in there eeeepp.. Thanks for the find!
A nice quick one to start me off for the day. Great little hide with a beautiful view. Thanks!
A day trip to Sunbury for a swim at the pool and an arvo of caching. A U-turn turn and a short walk to have, the older one found this awesome hide. Cool.
A lovely Sunday afternoon called for some caching (4/2 not the 5/2 as we logged - silly Doc forgot how many days were in January and Mrs believed him). Have driven up and down this hill many, many times but great to be able to stop and appreciate the view. We parked on the wrong side of the road and had to dodge the traffic, but we emerged unscathed. Found quickly. Mrs made Doc do the hard work mainly because she has very short arms. TFTC
