Maybe after the fire devastated such a large area it would have been nice if the owner checked their caches in the area before they enabled them.
I drove here today to find that the bridge is now gone.
So why would you enable a cache that you have not checked.
Is it because the reviewer was going to archive it if you had not posted a note.
It is a waste of my caching time to go to an area which is suppose to have caches,
When you get there it is all fenced off, even the toilet blocks where burnt.

Due to fires we are Temporarily disabiling them until we can check on them.

This cache would appear to be in a fire area and perhaps should be made temporarily unavailable until the status can be checked.

Found after a long uphill walk [xx(]. Very dry and dusty and no water over the falls. Overall a well stocked cache and a good hide. TNLN
Found at 1.05pm on a warm day,
No water in the creek meant a dry waterfall, still an impressive piece of rock.
Few people around made looking for the cache easy.
Nice spot to hide it
Left a geocoin
Lovely walk in
Thanks

Find # 1691 and 12th of the day at 2:08pm. Accompanied by Feathertop on our weekly caching trip. I am starting to enjoy these longer walks a lot more now, when I first started Geocaching if I had to walk more than 300 meters I would say forget it !. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Thyla and Thylo....
Found this cache after a nice energetic walk up here with Oenze. Dry underfoot which lowered the terrain rating for us. Plenty of water at the falls after the rains and the cache was an easy find thanks to the clues. Thanks thyla and thylo for sharing this place with us.
Hurrah... After a long day caching in Bendigo I navigated into this one at 8pm tonight. I had planned to grab it earlier but as I needed to log a night cache for River Deep Mountain High caching game it had to wait. I was pretty tired when I got to the carkpark and saw over a kilometre to GZ showing on my GPS. I wondered as I climbed up the path if anybody had been out here today? Not to worry I really enjoyed the walk through the forest at night, the wildlife and night noises give a very different perspective on things. The track was also much better than I expected and the support chains in areas were a real bonus for me. I got to GZ and kept going to see the falls at night, I even climbed the staircase a bit further to see the path does continue up to the top track (maybe next time I will come in from above). Then it was off to find the cache, the coordinates were spot on for me with the cache found easily with just 1 metre showing. I found a typical Thyla and Thylo cache extremely well stocked with all sorts of cool things. Sadly Ump there wasn't a invite for ftf . There was a great looking hand warmer which I swapped for a little kit of "firetacks" and reflective ribbon, which seemed appropriate given the cold and darkness. Thank you for the cache and congratulations on your engagement.
Congratulations. Thanks for placing a cache so close to home.
A cachers dilemma;
It's 11:45pm
The cache is 17.2 km away in the Black Range, which amounts to around the corner for any city cacher.
Recon shows a gentle 700 metre walk to cache.
It's not raining.... Anymore..
Do I go out now for FTF or risk Luckdogscrew or Pickupfamily grabbing it early tomorrow....?
Guess we will have to see what happens...
