Bit of a rough Walt but fun

Thank you for leading us to such a great spot! Off the beaten track, cool waterfall and amazing stairs. Only a short walk so a nice way to finish off an afternoon hiking around the Blue Mountains. We parked just off the road around 100m past the lower trailhead. Found with geoMum/Scavenging Scout.

What a cool place!!We decided to make a small diversion on our way back to Katoomba from Blackheath, and it was so worth it.Hidden little gem but so near to the road.Cache easily found, although we had to contend with some large daddy long-legs to get it out of its hidey-hole.Fave point from me

What a spectacular spot! Found the cache on the way down. Geokids loved this spot we lingered for a long time.

Surprised this cache hasnt gotten more visitors in recent months. Guess it has been the winter months. Great cache in a great spot and a safe distance from Barter Town.

Myself and my Geoson [@aidenel](https://coord.info/PR1P89JV) attempted to visit this cache yesterday after seeing all the favourite points (actually, this cache was the reason for our trip to the Blue Mountains) but enroute, the road was closed, due to a landslide, and has only one way in, and one way out.Unfortunately we had to give this one a miss, and are told the road should be repaired in a week or so.

This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 13149.Our team, Banj, Mighty Minions, Team737 visited this one and Im so very glad we did. The views were stunning. Totally recommend this location. Thanks foundem for the cache.

#7464 Found on a caching day in the Blackheath area, with Mighty Minions, Banj5150 and Big_Matt. We were recuperating from some climbing after a fish and chip lunch in Blackheath (awesome). We met up with some other caching vagabonds here - Brewmaker, EverestHigh and Martin Cousins, and set out to explore. It is a great little spot, even by Blue Mountains standards, and worthy of a truckload of FPs for sure.After finding the cache (I didn't set the mousetrap!) we did the little walk around the waterfall loop - it is such a picturesque spot.... TFTC!

Caching in the area with a group of mates, we made our way to this cache, one I've meant to get in the past when I was nearby, but run out of time.A really great spot for a cache

#7464We've seen this one many times throughout our adventures around the Bluies, but never had time to stop. After parking nearby, we (Banj5150, Big Matt and Shell, Mighty Minions, lee737 and myself) wandered down to the crack, and after a quick search by phone light we had the cache in hand. As we were exploring, a few of the others in our little group for today turned up as well (BM, MC and EH). What a glorious location. This has been on my list since it won "Geocache Of The Month" a couple of years ago. It's worth all the FPs. Have some more. Watch out for the mouse trap when you attempt to get to the log book. TFTC

At first I was looking in the wrong spot then I finally got to it and washed my hand in the waterfall.

The blue mountains just dont fail to impress. Every single time we reach a viewpoint, Im sure Ive said something like wow. These mountains have now got a piece of my heart.

Loved the cuttings and the rain overnight had the waterfall pumping!! Great hide ! Tftc

Had a good look around the area but couldn't locate the cache

I've driven by here dozens of times and thought, "I should walk down there." Well, today we did. What a brilliant spot. I'd give it a favourite point if I could, be sadly we couldn't find the cache. Given that most photos indicate it is an ammo can, I'm fairly confident that it is no longer there.

Thanks anyway, we will be back!

Lots of dark bits. A spoiler of first dark bit is a winner, some time ago, suggests not here now?

After a night in the Blue Mountains, we first walked Glen Walking Track, then went to this Cave. After watching this sceneful place, I looked for this old cache that became my first find in Australia. With headlight, this was an easy one. Left one TB. Best regards from Hamm, Germany!

Upon receiving the prestigeous "Geocache of the Month" award from Geocaching NSW, this cache was added to my to-do list.
Today we drove up to Blackheath and then down Megelong road to the small parking area. But not before initially realizing too late we missed the parking and it many kilometers before we found a spot where it would be save to turn the geomobile around.

The walk to Mermaid Cave was short; but what a dramatic entrance to this magical place it was. A great spot for hot summer days.
We explored the area on the slippery via the muddy foot path behind the waterfall and the nice rockledge to sit and enjoy the view.

With the GPS all over the place, we got a good hint from a fellow cacher. A great big box was found. Logsheet was a bit damp but perfectly writeable.
To keep the place pristine, please be aware that there is no need to look behind plants or climb upon rock ledges.

Had to walk the megalong road as it was closed. Nice hide, the kids and us had fun, thanks.

Drove past in the afternoon and there were a lot of cars so came back later and we were the only ones parked. What an amazing spot which we'd have probably passed if this cache wasn't here, so thank you! Cache was an easy find with a torch except for the giant flying insects! They didn't seem to bothered by me however! Someone had left a lemon in the cache. Lucky it was still rather fresh and we removed it. Please do not leave food in geocaches people! Thanks for taking us to a surprise area. Loved it.

we were up in the Blue Mountains for the day, I'd promised my daughter we'd do some sight-seeing. So after lunch in Blackheath we headed to this one. Following the GPS took us right past, and once it said we were at our destination it was obvious that we weren't, then she piped up with "Oh I saw a sign for that back up the hill!" So back up the hill, thinking where are we going to park it didn't look like we passed anywhere. turns out we drove past a good parking spot too! If it helps anyone else try S33 38.680 E150 16.666 (parking) - otherwise if you do what we did you have to drive a bit further on before you can turn round again.

Back to the cache ....................... what a wonderful place, not much water in the falls but the glade was just magical. Thank you for bringing us here. Another favourite point well and truly deserved.

On a short getaway without the geokids. A day of bushwalking and geocaching. Had to come find this one because of all the FPs. A beautiful location, shame there is not much water flowing down the waterfall today. TFTC!

We moved back to our van full time just few days ago and decided to head back to Blue mountains first thing. After couple days in Lithgow and nice hike to glow worm tunnels, we decided to drive to Katoomba. On our way we noticed this cache with all the favo points and had to stop here. Beautiful spot and nice cache., tftc!

Really nice adventure with the family TFTC

It was my birthday a few days ago and as a surprise my best friend organised a day in the mountains. This was the main geocache we came for and it didn't disappoint. What a wonderful location. Unfortunately it was already late in the day due to traffic and a great break at the pub in Leura so we couldn't stay too long. Thank you Rite for bringing us here and thank you master Q and muggle husband for a great day out.
