Chewbacca72 and I are traveling during 4 months through Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. A few caches that are on our way should not be missing. This cache is one of them. Many thanks to NTSTROM for hiding. Best regards, searchersab
TFTC.
Visiting the Katherine Gorge comes also with looking for caches. We enjoyed the visit and the caches on the way.Team Mavos - Albert and Maria
Found it on 2/9/24 but forgot to log.Found with Hally4 on trip across the top TFTC
Just back from canoeing in the arvo! It was a wonderful experience, so to add to the day we made a find. TFTC
Die Koordinaten springen etwas. Aber wir haben ihn dann doch gefunden! Vielen Dank!
I found this cache on a trip from Adelaide to the top end with Freddo for a few weeks. The cache was a quick find and was in good condition. Thanks NTSTROM for the cache.
This cache rocks. Freddo and e.gregory1 were heading up the middle of Australia following Stuart's well trodden route. We were travelling in air conditoned comfort and style. No stale food. No camels to carry water. We were leaving the cold winter for the northern season.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is the twentieth and ninth day of Julius Caesar's Month in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a cool cloudy and raining. No wind today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. After a refreshing swim in the camping pool, we head to the lookout point. We log the cache. Thank you for placing it.
Took a while to locate this after our kayak trip on the gorge. Was about to give up when I spotted an area worthy of exploration to the right of the path as ascending from the boat ramp. Soon saw the tell tale geocairn and the cache was found!
Together with team Saturnus on tour through Australia. Cache a matter of a short search and luckily quickly found. TFTC
10006 - 13:15After the boot tour a hike with a find.A bit of a look around and then spotted. Thanks for the cache
Day 5 of our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road now .First night on a rest area some kilometers after Darwin .At Katherine Gorge we took a walk and found this one .TFTC# 17'107
OCW PelDroedGwin We left geodog Peppa in the air-con of the caravan and headed into the park, as we didnt want to leave her alive for too long we chose this short walk as a gorge taster. Looked the track and the views.quite a few hidey holes here but PDG spotted it. Dropped a croc TB as it seemed an appropriate place. Tftc
Ocw the Bebes as we visit Katherine. Enjoyed our walk and views of the Gorge. Tftc
TFTC WHAT A GREAT WALK GOT TO THE TOP HOWEVER GPS WENT DOWN SO COULDNT COMPLETE THE OTHER CACHE UP HERE

On a blistering hot day, I ventured into the mesmerizing Nitmiluk National Park, eager to uncover this traditional cache nestled amidst the ancient beauty of the Katherine Gorge. The allure of exploring 13 sandstone gorges, sculpted over eons by the Katherine River, drew me deeper into the heart of this natural wonderland.Traversing the winding trails, I marveled at the sheer grandeur of the gorge walls rising majestically around me, their timeless beauty a testament to the power of nature. The option to explore by foot, canoe, or even from the air offered a plethora of ways to immerse oneself in the awe-inspiring landscape. As I followed the coordinates, my anticipation grew, and soon I spotted the small green cylinder discreetly tucked along the trail. With a twist of the screw top lid, I revealed the treasures within a wet logbook, pencil, and a few small trinkets waiting to be discovered by fellow adventurers.Ensuring to leave no trace, I carefully logged my find, relishing the sense of accomplishment that comes with a successful geocaching expedition. The inclusion of a spoiler photo in the gallery provided a helpful hint for those in need, ensuring the cache remained accessible to all who dared to seek it.Leaving the cache as I found it, I departed from this extraordinary location, grateful for the opportunity to explore Nitmiluk National Park and add my mark to its storied history. Until the next adventure beckons, may this cache continue to bring joy and discovery to all who journey here.
16:40Lucky to be on the first day of our Ghan expedition, promises to be a magic adventure. After our helicopter flight over the 13 Georges, the bus visited this location to pick up some fellow travellers who had opted for a boat trip up the George. As we waited we were able to make a quick snatch and grab of this cache. Thanks to NTSTROM for hiding caches in interesting locations. 35971
Found a container with log in a place that matched the hint, but did not match container description: neither green nor screw on top. This container also has a crack along the side. Tftc
Travelling with a tour group has its advantages and disadvantages.
Advantages: you get commentary about the area, it’s history and you meet lots of people.
Disadvantages: geocaches are always just out of reach! It seems they are always a couple hundred metres in the opposite direction of where the tour group is going ??
This means I will have to come back another day, on my own with my own travel plans.

Day 79 of our greynomad trip up north from Vic, after a the JLWEvents in Wudinna SA, a tour of Maralinga and caching to claim LGAs in the Eyre Peninsula, through to Alice Springs, Uluru, Darwin, Kakadu and Litchfield we continue our journey back south. It is also day 78 of a streak, so we are keeping it rolling.

After the beautiful lookout to nitmiluk river we found this one quick. And met Mike from new zealand who was also cacheing. Cool, thanks and safe trip
Warm day. Met a honeymooning couple looking for the the same cache. International co-operation between Switzerland and NZ and all signed
On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, once at the GZ the hunt began a quick chat to some muggle walkers and back to it and bingo there it was, we just had to re focus, thanks for the awesome cache
Travelling with richlink on a trip from Perth to Darwin along the west coat and returning through the centre to SA and home again. Mitmiluk, what can we say other than Stunning! Unfortunately, we were unable to manage all the walks, but we did what we could before it got too hot. Thanks for bringing us out here.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from WA up through NT and down the centre to SA and then home across the Nullabor. We made an early start to avoid the midday heat. The scenery here is stunning. We made a quick find in between muggles passing. Thanks for the hide.
Didn’t think to check initially, then had to back track 250 m in the stinking hot. Please check for caches as you go.
Today we walked in Katherine Gorge along the Baruwei loop, Windolf walk to Jedda's rocks and return via Waleka and Yambi walks. What a warm sunny day, rewarded with magnificent views along the way. Quick find here. TFTC
Only had a short time as missed this on the way up to the lookout. Too many rocks. Had to get back to decent data coverage as it is Taylor Swift Ticketek time in 30 mins. !

We’re sorry we didn’t sign the log as we make the mistake of not thinking to take a pen with us while walking in the park. Have attached a photo of the log as proof

This morning we decided to go for an early morning walk. Unfortunately still many of the trails are closed, but this one gave us a good view over the Katherine river.
As we didn't watch on our geo-map we passed the cache and had to go back again. But we could find it quite easy and left a TB here.
Thanks for the cache and regards from Switzerland.

We visited Katherine Gorge and were surprised not many tracks were open. So with not many options decided to do this loop. What great rocks in the area.
A nice quick find

It's a beautiful walk from the boat rentals to Baruwei Lookout. Found this cache easily. Thanks for hiding this one and as always TFTC, MumDad2000
Faced with the choice between idle chitchat waiting for the boat cruise or finding a cache first we OBVIOUSLY chose the latter. This one was found in good condition and signed and replaced before we came down to the boat tour TFTC
Good to be back on land and take a short walk to this one. Scratched around for a little while untill
Finally finding the cache. TFTH

Quick find. I’d like to do more of the walk but I’m too hot today. We came from home where we had snow last week, so it’s hot for me, even though it’s not hot for other people!! TFTC
After a great morning kayaking on the river at Nitmiluk, we decided to continue the adventure with a couple of walks. By this time it was definitely in the middle of the heat of the day.
A little bit of up, and then we found the hide very close to the pathway.
What a bucket list location!
Thanks NTSTROM

A 2 month/11,000km road trip up north to Darwin, where it’s a lot warmer than here, Mrs Boomajarril & I packed up the caravan, geo-dogs, and left the 9°C cold weather behind.
Took a while for the gps to settle to find "the rock". Some time later..... which rock. Oh well stuff it - too hard.

Pretty awesome helicopter ride earlier in the day got us all the views of the
Gorge and beyond but a trip to an area without picking up the stray cache is unheard of, so here we are sweating merrily as we hike to a couple of caches in the Katherine Gorge. Amazing how much water is still in the rivers considering there hasnt been rain for months, at home every waterway would be dry as a bone if it hadnt rained in that long.
We didnt spend much time at the cafe or information area, the winner of this area is definitely outside the buildings.
Thanks NTSROM for adding to the experience at Katherine Gorge and providing a cache. Found it, signed it and replaced safe and sound as found. TNLN
