Being worn out and becoming lazier by the minute, I parked near to GZ and left Shazzar66 to hare off up the rise towards GZ. By this time in the day, after Climbing the nasty Mt Cooroora, my legs were not working, and anyway, there's never any point in trying to beat Shazzar66 to a cache (or to anything for that matter).Another easy find for Shazzar66. We can confirm that the cache is definitely in place. Thanks, Cooroy Scouts for the placement, and dahumbug for the ongoing maintenance of this one.
Looking for a full day of caching, I packed my car and headed up the coast to camp at Duppers place so we could make an early start. We found somewhere safe to park and made our way to the cache. Happy with a quick find here as I spotted it on approach. I found your cache, Pomona Tank. today.dahumbug, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
After a heart starting short climb, we went on a drive to collect some older caches for Muggle65. He needs a huge number for a north Brisbane challenge. At our current rate, he will qualify in about 15 years. Beautiful day and some stunning countryside. Thank you for the fun
While up this way we visited serenity mountain and our fearless group of mountaineers swung by this oldie and found the cache. Well I did find it this time.
Find #2 for today, quick and easy and nice views. Found a new mountain to hike too. Thank you for the cache
Early morning start on day 3 of this caching trip away. Spent the night just outside of Gympie after finishing another leg in the challenge that Im currently working on. This morning I have a bit of time left to work on the next leg.I am rive at ground zero, find a safe way lace to park and then make my way to ground zero. I quickly find the cache, extract the log and make my mark.I return the cache to the hiding spot and then back to the van and off to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Always up for getting tanked, and getting tanked at Pomona will be a first. Approaching GZ thought the pluggers would be sufficient then realised I need to raise my game so back to the car to put on the boots. A quick find above the tank was then had. Thanks to all for keeping this oldie active.
Sweet-Sour I found your cache Pomona Tank. on 16/2/2023, 11:25 am. This is my find 4738 and find # 6 today. No problems locating this cache. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
This is a wonderful drive and some lovely views. The cache is protected by some pretty gnarly spiders but I used the Cachers Great Defence Stick and got at it. Container is full of water but cache is dry. Tftc!
Spending the weekend away on the Sunshine Coast with Peppa and we are spoilt for choice with caching options. After rock hopping up Boulder creek we are gradually making our way back south with a few caches on the list to stop at.
We were driving right past this one so naturally had to stop. Once we scrambled up the embankment it was a quick find in the likely location. Tftc cooroy scouts and sweet-sour

Davinells and I are having a weekend on the Sunshine Coast… Staying at Ilkley, don’t try and find that on a map, and having attended Grannysmith1947’s event, Slower Geocachers Who Like to Walk in Woondum National Park we have just one or two more caches on the list…
You can’t drive 500 metres around here without passing another Q1000 cache… it’s awesome!!!
Once scrambling up the embankment Davinells made a quick find… the condition of the contents meant a return to the car for a couple of new snap lock bags… luckily this was one of the shorter walks of our day…

Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Bennyboppers, Misssusan79 and Lisylou). TFTC!
Another trip up to the Sunshine Coast, found 11 traditional today. One of these caches was the main target for today, I needed it for a challenge cache.
Then I also pick up few oldies to.
I had lots of fun today.
Sorry for the generic log.

Rolling near gz on the tredleys this afternoon i had to marvel at the amazing properties in the area.
A step or two up and i could see where i would hide a cache, and there it was.
Could do with those little silica jell bags that take out condensation.
Otherwise the log that some helpful c a cachers put in is certainly better than the wet one in there.
Thank you cooroy scouts for another cache in a cool location and sweet_sour for keeping it alive for us to enjoy!

On a beautiful day up here for a challenging hike, for the adventure lab Sunshine Coast Heights and others.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Tftc, having driven up and down here quite a few times while in the area. Today was the day to collect the caches before we head north tomorrow.

Stumbled all over the place but found diddly squat. Better luck with the next one

Sunday. Que Sera and Slow Puncture were heading up the road to grab us another cache in mind for today and this cache was also a milestone cache of sorts for Slow Puncture - this is cache number 4999 for Slow Puncture! A magical number to be sure. We parked the car in the ample parking area and went up the slope a bit to find the cache and sign our names. And now we were heading off to get cache #5000. Wonderful to grab this cache which is just on the way and almost a roadside stop and grab.
This was the 4th of 6 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Sweet-Sour***, for showing us this place.

Mrs slow puncture and I were on the way to serenity on the mountain and we decided to collect a few smileys on the way. I went one way and Mrs slow puncture went the other and she took the right way but did walk past before quickly realizing. It did rain on our way home so hope the tank gets full as it's a long time between rain these days. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Joining slow puncture for a milestone on the mountain this morning.

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
Tftc eventually found it. A little bit out in co-ords with my phone, but when we thought about where it would be. Yay found it. Tnlnsl
Nice easy find. On our way home after the 2018-2019 New Year Event. All good with this cache. Thanks sweet-sour.
Found! Beautiful view of Pomona Mountain. So quiet and beautiful. Thank you for the cache
We have set up camp for a couple of days at Kanganda, a good location to head along the Amamoor Muster Trail & the south along the Old Bruce Highway. A great contrast in regions from forestry , highways into small towns.
A good variety of locations & caches found.
Thanks for placing this cache Sweet-Sour

Quick find today, while in the area. Signed log and replaced. Thanks to Sweet-Sour.
A quick find with my darling geohubby WallabyTim on our way home in fading light. A beautiful view with some spectacular colours in the dusk sky. TFTC
We drove straight past this one and had to use someone’s driveway to turn around and in between copping an eyeful from the owner we saw what an absolute cracker of a view they had here. Enough of looking at the view though, we need to high tail it back to GZ.
We knew it had to be up there but as it was so hot we just kept staring hoping it would turn up like a bunny in hat right where we were, but the magic wasn’t happening for us. We found the easier way to it and did the foot stamp to clear the way of any cold blooded bodies lying around soaking up the rays.
We soon located the cache and starting making our retreat, the no entry sign didn't account for if someone passed out from heat stroke...

Haha, not the kind of tank I was expecting! Beautiful views of the mountain from here.
We were out doing the Old Bruce Highway series and decided to include this one. We made a quick find once we were on the right level. Nice to see cush an old cache still going strong! TNLNSL TFTC
Found it, a nice easy find post grocery shopping, I had a great view of the "other" side of the mountain as I wended my way home for bickies and tea. Tftc
