With so many DNF's, cachers spending long amounts of time looking, and a request for 'needs maintenance' unanswered or actioned I believe this one needs to be archived or the owener to replace.
I had a quick look for this one, but there were an elderly couple standing at the top of the hill getting a bit sus on me, so i called it off. As it turns out, it looks like it's not there anyway. Thanks anyway laird_au
Met up with coley_babee and Zippi_Russ in the CBD. We headed out to an area which we'd never cached before.
Attempted this one, but had no luck. Saw a potential hiding spot, but no one was home?
I notice several other DNF's on this cache already. Is it gone again??
Is the hint still valid?
Thanks anyways laird_au.

Took the kids on debut Geocaching expedition. Found 2/3, but not this one, despite searching for about an hour. According to the clue, we thought we found a spot it COULD have been hidden, but that looked disturbed and empty. So it might be worth a visit to see/confirm if this has been taken.
You just have to love school holidays. I’d taken a few days off to have the kids at home but they wanted to got to Footy Finals day at the holiday school program at a local school so I organised with a caching buddy, jsmyong55 to go out north and grab a few caches while the kids were being taken care of kicking the footy and eating hot dogs. So off we went and tried to nab as many as we could in the limited time we had. It was a relatively successful day with only 4 DNF but I’m sure they weren’t there. Anyway this is one of the caches we did not find. We spent about 40 minutes searching with iphones, androids and Garmins which all pointed to the same spot, but nothing revealed itself. The co-ords we suspect are not true to form given the tree cover. Oh well it has been found since it was replaced so we weren't good enough today. thanks laird au.
What Trailrunning and I thought would be an easy find in the end took 40 mins but still with no cache in hand. Look at almost all possible hiding spots but this still got us stumped. I wonder how hard can finding an uncamouflaged 400ml sistema be..
Albatross TB missing? A different TB taken by us, log book empty - were we the FTF at new co-ords? Very well hidden.
Saw this was back up so thought I'd take a look. GPS was all over the shop. Saw a bit of a geotrail and a possibly good spot but the cupboard was bare then I ran out of time. I'll come back another day.

The new cache is ready to go. It should be a little harder to find than previously.
I do plan on having this back up and running before the end of August. I have scouted the area for nearby new locations as I think the exact placement of the current cache is no longer suitable. Unfortunately I have been pretty busy lately and the weather has been unkind when I have been free.
This cache has had 6 consecutive DNF's over last 4 months. Consider it to be gone and needs to be archived.
Looks like this one has gone missing. Will plant a new container in the near vicinity when I get the chance (a couple of weeks).
7:15am
definitely time to check if this one is still there. I searched for a while but given the number of DNF's I wasn't going to waste too much time and the blackberries are slowly invading the area making searching a painful and damaging experience.

After arriving to a very crowded willanda park ( a fund raising walking event?) we made our way to specified location, unfortunately grass alongside river is very tall, but with much stomping my sis made her way further to what seemed a cubby. Sighted snake skin, heard a rustle in the grass and burst back on the path very quickly, but a crack up none the less. Will check back at other times to see if grass has been cut.
Saw the snake skin, and then the snake! (in the long grass). I think it was trying to get away from me, but didn't hang around to find out!
This one needs an extra star for terrain and definitely more than one star for difficulty, judging by the amount of DNF's, to keep it consistent with the other caches. Perhaps the owner needs to visit the cache again and see. Will be back some day, thanks.

Well, I found "the spot" no worries at all (the encrypted hint is right about that too!) and gingerly, no that isn't right, I lumbered very heavily through the very long grass (bearing in mind it was a very hot morning and the Joe Blakes would certainly be active, even before 0600h!) and into the location.... well, at that point I noticed a very large and recently shed snakeskin lying on a log in the cache site...now I've seen plenty of shed snake skins and I would estimate that this one was not from a small snake - maybe thickness of my wrist! Anyway, with the very real possibility of the owner of said shed snakeskin most likely being in residence and the very rampant growth, my search was very quick and very fruitless. I exploded out of the cache site and flew through the long grass to the safety of the path! Needless to say there wasn't much hope of me finding this given the growth, temperature highs and being in prime Joe Blake territory! Probably try this one again in WINTER!!!
We found the very likely site and the big snake skin! After a lot of stomping to scare off the owner of the skin we gingerly poked around with a big stick we found nothing

quite over grown took a little while to find the cache on a caching count down to new years with Dunko TFTC SL
On a ride with beta female out these trails and popped by here... DNF unfortunately. Due to the rampant undergrowth, possible snakes, and what appears to have been recent flood activity at/near GZ, we gave up after a short search for this one...
Found while at a training day for the litteblackduck at the aths track nearby. TFTC
After muttering to each other about the cursed undergrowth of GZ, I tripped over the cache as satchmo was about to give up. TFTC!
Quite overgrown but a little persistance paid off. great area for a walk. Thanks for your effort.
03/10/2010 04:07 Found: #55 We parked quite some distance away as the GPSr wanted us to start at the beginning of the walk instead of at the nearby street. My youngest and I didn't mind the walk as we saw more of the Plenty area that we previously didn't know about. Surprised that the cache has managed to last with no one stumbling over it before now. Especially kids in he area. TFTC SL TB OUT: 55R32G
Didn't notice much dampness inside the box, maybe because it had just rained and everything outside the box (including me) was soaking. Took geocoin, left guinea pig TB. TFTC
An easy ish find after a bit of a scratch around. The log book was full and everything was little damp. TNLN TFTC
Sorry for the many posts finally worked out how to drop the coin in the cache
1st of 18 during a Northern suburb night cache run with my mate Marshy (Blacklegend17). Nice little stroll down to GZ and after a bit of a search, we were signing the cache. TFTC.
1st of 18 for our run of "night caching" with my good caching mate Marty (Quasar3671). Quick walk and find, although our GPSr's were playing up a little locking onto GZ. TFTC.
2nd cache for the day.Accompanied by my darling wife (Geo Sniffer), a friend (Happy Travellers) dogs (Lulu and Becky. Took Spiderman tattoos and replaced with bubble mix (found at ToyBox). Difficult find due to high muggle activity.
nice cosy little spot started on the wrong side of the river but the abundance of bridges in the area soon solved that TFTC
No 4 of about 20ish with bogonghazy today. The GPS had us several metres away, but the clue made it obvious where it was. Enjoyed reminiscing about similar areas and related escapades from my younger years.
Found once again in the company of Reesylou.
This was a nice walk from the future stars cache only a short distance away.
great little spot for a cache, I'm sure kids would love playing around here.
My thanks to laird au FTC, TNLNSL

Wow, I'm taking a look at a few features on the GCA site and discovered that this log only had 6 words, seems that 18months ago I didn't see the need to write a great deal.. heres a few more words to increse my over all words by more than 6, if your reading this far I suggest you stop now, mostly because these words are really just here to add to the otherwise few words that were origionaly here. Thus incresing the number of words from 6 to more like approx ninety five (95) or by the time I finish this 110 or 111 (one undred and ten or eleven).

A muggle boy probably thought I was strange, walking along a path which further up was closed off. GZ was before that of course, and he didn't know what I was up to. TFTC.
Fourth cache of an expedition with my 2-year old daughter Kira. When we pulled up at this one, a friendly neighbourhood cat decided to jump into the car, and didn't want to leave! The cache was an easy find, took car, left soft toy. Then I also left my GPS in the undergrowth and had to run back to retrieve it! Thanks for the cache.
Great co-ordinates and a good hiding spot!

I previously went to this one a couple of years ago with Feathertop in my pre-caching days. That day I saw quite a big snake while we were searching, which caused me to jump backwards all of a sudden. I never saw any snakes in the days I used to swim in the river as a kid.
Today I returned to the spot to log it. I couldn't remember exactly where it was hidden, but it was pretty obvious once I got to GZ. I left a coin I picked up in Whyalla and took another bug to move to a new home elsewhere.

Finally got the opportunity to come back to this site and have another go. Much more successful but a cache i will not forget for a while!
I went into the creepy crawly hole without drama, i thought it was the best time as the big rain storm had only just past... no one would be out walking tonight! Anyway after signing the log i could see someone coming from downstream with a dog so i decided to make a move and almost tripped over a dog being chased by its owner comming fromthe other direction!
And behind him even more muggles! I should have checked it out a bit better before exiting but with dogs on the loose i didn't want them snooping around and finding me... i figured a person coming out of a bush is better than a person in the bush? Maybe... mabye not?
So a casual grin as they past i went along with the business of returning to the car. I've learnt a few lessons... rain does not stop people, always look both ways, and perhaps only attempt these caches after dark!
Anyways all in all a memorable experience! Thanks for this hide. TNLN

Found no worries, if you are tall like me, you are best served by taking a geochild to do the crawling in part. Thanks for the scratches! Good hide though, i remeber having little play spots like this as a kid. Good work guys.

This cache had not been found for 4 months and yet today there were 2 entries in the log including this one!
There were some kids playing nearby and a few people taking walks but we didn't need to wait long for them to go away.
Very interesting hide but lots of undergrowth. It wasn't exactly an easy find but wasn't difficult either.
Took top, left frog. Thanks for the cache.

Thrown by the difficulty and terrain rating, it a while before we cracked the hint and started searching in the right place. This is somewhat tougher than a terrain 1.
J spotted something slithering in the grass just outside GZ so the two girls took off for the track (under supervision) and I got some longer sticks to have a poke around where the hint suggested.
With a lot of wandering jew growing along here now, this is a tough little cache to find with so much area to check. I was seriously just about to give up when with a push aside of the undergrowth with a big tick, the cache was revealed.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks laird_au. Not sure if what we spotted was a snake or lizard, but the slithering made us very aware of the potential dangers of caching in Australia. While I did the logging, the girsl headed off to the playground where fun was had by all.

I found this cache with caughtatwork and big sister J. She thought she saw a snake, so I waited on the path with her while daddy kept on looking. He finally found it and then we all went to the playground for a while. I enjoyed playing on the swings. Thank you laird_au.
Of all the stupid ways to find this cache, we found what was probably the worst. We got to within 20m of GZ, only to find a rather full creek in the way. Backtracked to find a bridge, which turned out to be further away than expected.
Eventually got to GZ, and found it very overgrown and not at all inviting looking. Access is on hands and knees, which is a problem given that this looks like a potential druggie site. Access is also through some very stabby prickles, which have a way of always being invisible but wherever hands and knees were placed.
To be fair, I suspect a lot of the undergrowth has happened since the cache was placed. Not so long ago, during the drought, this would've been a very different spot.
After a lot of very careful poking around, we found the cache, and then the rain came. Mid winter, in the rain, and I'm in a T-shirt. Luckily I was also covered in mud, so any passer by would have just assumed I was mentally handicapped and left it at that...
Not a place for the kiddies to crawl around unattended, nor (as I found) for mid-40s males with bad knees and inappropriate clothing.

Checked with uninitiated friend to show him what a cache looked like.
Not quite in original position (probably 2m closer to river) but that is understandable given the bio-shaping that has occurred. The cache is well stocked still, with most of the original contents having been swapped out. The hint still makes sense, but the original difficulty rating may now be a little higher than warranted.
I have changed the difficulty rating down to 1 to reflect this.
