Nice park, but no sign of the cache. Spent a fair bit of time searching around the likely trees and the alleged zone, but to no avail. Is this one still alive?
25 Mins of rummaging with no joy. Looked for all the usual suspects.

Found it easy enough - badly needs a new container - and maybe somewhere out of the wet... put in 1 french franc(preeuro) took pirate coin TFTC
This cache was a bit of a problem for me-first my GPS took me on a round the world trip to the wrong side of the river, then couln't work out how to get here the best way.
I did eventually find the cache-pretty easy as it was sitting out in the open-lucky there are few muggles and the 'grass' has not been mown here.
The next problem was the cache has been chewed by animals-probably rats aor mice and every thing is wet.
I dried it out as best I could , put a new log book inside(in it's own bag) and replaced all as best I could. The pen is ruined as was much of the trade goods.
I suggest the owner pay a visit and replace the cache-a more sturdy one seems to be in order here due to the wild life feeding habits.

Anyway it's a marvelous park.

My apologies for any confusion with my log on the 18th……
Now that the contents are dry, I have been able to peel the pages of the log book apart, the last entry was by crew153 a year ago. [?]
So I went online back through the old Riverdale logs and I can see that crew153 was the last to sign the original cache, before the floods.
I have found the original cache and the water has been in it for 12 months! [xx(]

Went for a nice walk, finally found cache under sticks & mud
I looked inside and there was about 1.5 litres of mud & water
Even the ziplock bag with TB & log was completely soaked.
I have taken the cache with me (in a garbage bag), will try to hose out & dry it.

Had a great bike ride to find this one. Removed travel slug from cincal Qatar, will relocate it to another cash nearby. Housebitch
We were supprised (and jealous) once again of the great parks all over Brisbane. This one is truely a gem. We left the travel slug geocoin to spend some time among the beautiful surroundings
Thanks for leading us here

Looks like we're the first to find after the great flood. Nice walk through here and along with Crew153 we didn't realise how vast this park was. Saw a few people walking dogs, but ostensibly had the park to ourselves. took a YoYo and left a 1934 Cadillac.
I reinstated the cache today.
So it is up and flying again and hopefully not floating away again.

I feared that already. Maybe the cache has been floating down the Logan River and is in the Pacific now.
I will check this. Thanks for the hint!
I will check this. Thanks for the hint!
Had a look for this cache whilst I was visiting the parents over Easter, but came back empty-handed. I know the park well, and my parents tell me this whole back half was completely flooded (totally inaccessible) during January when the river flooded its banks. Given the last find was back in November, it might need a maintenance check
A peaceful stroll. I was not aware that the park extended this far. It's a pity I didn't have time to explore some more.
TN and dropped off a U4D Travel bug heading for Japan.
Thanks for the adventure.

With a cooling sea breeze it was very pleasant [^]
Good to actually find a cache today at last
As promised the muggle factor was low

What a top spot! I had no idea this was here - there are just so many things to do I think the family would have been happy if we'd spent the whole day here!
We initially ignored all of the play equipment and headed straight off on our walk. It was pleasant the entire way & we were amazed with all of the water we saw in the area.
Upon arriving at GZ we spotted a couple smooching on the nearby seat & it was quite difficult for us to hang around without attracting their attention (even though they seemed *almost* oblivious to the world around them!) So instead of trying to avoid attention, we did the exact opposite - the kids bounded around the area exploring all of the little nooks and crannies... it was only just as we went over to GZ that the couple decided that this wasn't the most peaceful area around and moved on
The cache was found easily and after liberating some items and leaving some replacements and a geocoin we replaced it as we found it before heading back to that great playground. We spent quite a while enjoying the playground before moving on to 1 more cache for the day. TFTC.

THENANKS enjoyed a spot of caching on the public Holiday for the Brisbane Show! [^] Mumma NANKS worked at a nearby school for 7 years and never visited this park or had any idea how big it was.
We met many friendly dogs and the geoboys had a ball on the peddle cars at the playground. See photos!
The youngest NANKS, 6 year old Tom, found this one and we made some swaps.
IN : A pack of Gel Pens, A Jelly Baby Pin, some party poppers.
OUT: 2 little vials of glitter and a pink plastic clock.
Thanks for the cache.....great fun on bikes!

We found this one today in the company of Lochb and Rastas. Fantastic park, the picnic areas and play grounds were very popular today, but our walk to GZ was through a quiet, pretty much muggle free area. This area would be amazing with a bit of rain.
We found the cache easily. We took a puzzle and left some glitter. Stopped to admire the wrens for a while on the way back to the cars.

Out on a quick jaunt with Steve and Family and Lochb. Just catching some of the caches in the area.
Nice parkland, even though it is as dry as a twig...
I must return after the rains come!

Found by Sunshine Toledo at 1:21pm. What a brilliant park and walk to the cache. I would give this cache 4.9 out of 5 but the seat should be closer and the noise from the traffic is a bit annoying: otherwise it has the river, the tall gum trees and the path to its advantage. There are lots of quail in the long grass too. It must have been the excellent lunch I had under one of the shelter sheds that made me like this cache. In: wrist band Out: yoyo TFTC
Found at 12:45 while on my lunch break from TAFE up the road. While in the area couldn't resist finding a couple over the next few weeks while attending TAFE to complete my 3rd year refrigeration. Didn't realise how big the park actually was until today. TFTC.

The kids were delighted when they found out that we were returning to this park for another cache. Even though it was some time ago that we visited this park they still remembered it. Both refused to go in search of the cache when there was a huge playground to explore so I had to do this one on my own.
This must have been a new cache as it was well stocked with lots of goodies.
Took: Stubby Holder (Its Sunday afternoon!)
Left: Scooby Blower, Jigsaw Puzzle and No. 6 TB.

Nice easy find.
Nice easy find.
First To Find! Great Walking Track That We Never Knew Existed, 99% Muggle Free At 17:20 On A Winter's Evening. We Were Worried That We Wouldn't Make It Back Before The Gates Were Closed.
Excellent Cache, Well Thought Out And Well Placed. Looks Like Some Effort Went Into It.
Took Dolphin Mug. Left Orange "Hang Loose" Lanyard, Australian Flag Wristband, Australian Coins Keyring And Koala Keyring. Also Left A Pen As The Pen Accompanying The Log Did Not Want To Play The Game.

[I hope that goes to the right addresse. I think,
things are quite complicated here]
Hi,
here are my coordinates, where I live
S 27° 41.784
E 153° 09.412
That might be approx 10 to 15 km away from the cache
by street.
It's far closer, if you take the way the crow flights.
