We spend three nights in Kenilworth to clean up the leftover and new caches. Found the cache with TBU1BIKESU and signed the log.Tftc. Scrub Bull
We are staying in Kenilworth for a couple of days to collect random caches - particularly those ones where you can't or shouldn't take your caravan. This was one of them. The container was spotted, the log signed and we put the cache back.Tftc Scrub Bull
I headed up the coast with a plan to grab a few caches that have the off road attribute. I was prepared to head up as far as Gympie for a nice day to just drive around and check out some areas I have not seen in a while. However, at my first cache I noticed a couple of common signatures and with todays date, really? The next cache was the same, am I chasing these fellow cachers? So I made a call and it turns out we have the same goal and a few common caches in mind. A plan was hatched and we got to catch up for a little driving adventure and few caches as we passed. The plan was for Peppa and Davinells to jump in my car to follow the tracks and to collect some caches. We earned our ticks today on this run around, falling trees, closed up tracks and a few tracks not the chosen was just the fun we encountered. I will say there were a couple of moments of technical driving and I am glad my passengers gave me the confidence to have a go. Apparently you can go your own way in a DMax, lol. I enjoyed our time and all caches were found and signed.
November is the month for off-road caches so Peppa and I have come to the northern Sunshine Coast area for some 4-wheel-driving fun. With the prediction of lots of rain in the lead up to today, Miranda was packed with all kinds of recovery gear, most of it still in its original packaging.Weve teamed up with chamad to tackle this cluster of 4wd caches. Cruising along the tracks we got close to GZ and then just had to climb the embankment and make the find. The log book is almost full.Tftc Scrub BullFind #4778
Davinells had a plan it involved a dirty weekend in and around Nambour, Eumundi, Cooroy, Pomona and Imbil Concentrating on the off-road vehicle attribute means were in Miranda going places only Miranda can We only had to refer to the owners manual once during a huge day of caching thats a success Im sure theres a carwash in NambourWe werent the only people with this plan today Chamad had stalked us for a couple of caches earlier so we joined forces and continued onNow were in with Chamad cruising the dirt trails this was a nice quick findThanks Scrub Bull
After Duppers Magic Maker event, I planned to go up the bluff with those who were going. I use the “planned” word very loosely as I didn’t plan very well. After a few slips and slides due to wearing the wrong shoes, I decided to bail. Now since I had car pooled here with Duppers, I was stuck in the area for the day. I headed back to the car to cache locally while I wait, and I knew it was going to be a long wait.
When I got back to the car parking area, Davidwazza was just pulling out as he wasn’t going up this time around. He asked if I wanted to come along with him so I jumped at the chance. It’s always better to cache with friends. (Thanks David.)

From taking the logical side-track off the main central track, the Prado had no issues with getting up to this location. Once we were alongside this cache, we then took the mini-scramble up the track sides to make a nice ammo can geocache find! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Scrub Bull for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 07/2007 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 1000 oldest yet active geocaches.

Today, a planned *Maker Magic* event on the top of Kenilworth Bluff had me make a trip north. When I completed this hike one year ago, I hadn't prepared for the walk to take the full day, and missed out checking other vicinity highlights. Following the event, [shazzar66](https://coord.info/PRJ8B31) and I took a drive north-west through Brooloo and Imbil, and we scoped out the Mary Valley Rail Trail, and Imbil State Forest to the south-west. Those 4WD tracks didn't pose any concerns and were in good condition.
For lunch, [shazzar66](https://coord.info/PRJ8B31) and I returned to Kenilworth where we had lunch at the infamous bakery, and we ran into [Peppa](https://coord.info/PRAXNZZ) who had returned from the hike. We completed the finding of geocaches around town, and I then took off towards Mapleton, stopping off at Mapleton Falls National Park for a short walk. As time continued to get away from me, I was able to make a few final stops in Nambour, and then took the drive home fighting congestion on the M1 highway.
I also commenced/completed two Adventure Labs:
• [Not Too Shabby.](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/ead46a00-3de3-48be-97ed-2033deff279b); and
• [A wander around Kenilworth](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/703debde-f896-446d-ad5a-748aee0abcf7).

Karicka and I set off early from Brisbane to climb Kenilworth Bluff again...a third time for me. Afterwards, we headed into the state forests for some 4WD'ing. We stopped to grab this while trying to find our way to Bud's Sterling Views. Thanks for the fun Scrub Bull
A long weekend away with geo-friends RoddyC, Hatzofff, Snickersallan, Patrol14 and GrannySmith1947 . Our main aim was to cache Lake McDonald and find land based cashes before and after. This was our last day before heading home. We had to abandon the trailer with the kayaks and our 2WD cars to enjoy the 4WD area. We did better than expected here and only had to walk a few mtrs. Out with RoddyC hatzofff Snickersallan Imbunda and grannysmith1947 for a fun weekend of geocaching on the sunshine coast area. Logs signed as Geo Six.
Dropped the trailer off with the kayaks to make it easier to travel around.
Luckily it hasn't rain in a while so was able to drive close to this cache. The track is no longer 4WD only trail bikes or on foot. Found this one easily. SL then returned as found. Love an oldie.

Scrub Bull I found your cache Hill Top Sentry on 22/3/2023, 2:45 pm. This is my find 4864 and find # 12 today. A quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
What a perfect spot for a cache! The mighty Honda CRV handled the track with no worries. I scrambled up the bank to find the container only to realise there was an easier path. Never mind, the find was made. Everything here is ticketyboo. Favourite point from me. TFTC and the adventure.

Two TASSIES out and about for a 10 week stint, including the Gympie Muster, so after a mammoth migration from Kilkivan, here we are in Imbil for three nights. Rain is here now, but the big tarp is up over our camp and we are snug enough. This cache is one we didn’t get to in 2019, but this morning it is in the bag ! TFTC Scrub Bull.
Yay! We found it! Be careful of the washed out parts of the track it is on from the flood water running down hill!
We left a pen and took a bookmark stencil!

Great practice for the junior DisSister who is new to these kinds of roads. It was fabulous to look back at some of the logs in the original logbook that’s still going in this cache. At GZ I selected the right spot and then circumnavigated in the wrong direction, of course, until I got almost around to where I started and there was the cache! TFTC Scrub Bull
It’s been years since I found an ammo tin in the bush. That was a treat. I remember in my early days geocaching, almost every cache I found was such a container. Favourite point for me
Found while out on my geosteed. The route I took was steep and difficult to walk in MTB shoes. But I managed and enjoyed being out here. Visiting Kandanga for the weekend.

So stoked to get this one, and glad i left it to last.
This I believe is my last possible SCrub Bull cache to find.
Ive had two left to find for 5 years but never quite got there.
I only started in 2013 and now I see over 50% are archived so...
"I think my 61 Finds from the 101 Hidden is a great effort.
Im really glad i left this epic one to last...
I used my 2wd ute on some rutty 4wd tracks and got there in the end.
An just as usual,
Great to see an ammo tin and the Barbie Logbook...a trait I have emulated.
Thank you sooooooooo much Scrubby for efforts back in the day.

A beautiful drive in this forest this morning. Parked and walked up to GZ to find my favourite cache container all dry with lots of swaps. Fav for the adventure. TFTC
We mapped out our chosen route prior to heading in and went for the most direct option, via the logging track on yabba creek rd. We have a 2wd so in places the channels were a bit challenging but all in all it went smoothly. Thankfully we haven't had any rain for a while! There is a fork conveniently located by GZ to be able to pull over and turn around at, so big thumbs up for that. Found the cache easily and surprisingly in immaculate condition after all this time. Thanks to whoever has maintained this one, and for placing it there for us to discover Scrub Bull.
Found this a while back but forgot to log. Found with barbbowman slammer and fasted 59
Cycled out from Imbil to find this one. Had lunch in the sun on this perfect winters day next to the cache without worrying about muggles in this out of way spot. Thanks Scrub Bull.
We are camping with friends at Imbil for the long weekend so all 20 of us headed off in a convoy of 5 4WD's for a drive through the state forest & to introduce the others to geocaching.
This was our third cache of the day & we parked a little way down the hill & walked up to GZ. The kids all ran off ahead & were soon calling out that they had found it & excitedly returned to the path with the ammo tin. Swaps made, log signed & cache replaced as found.
We had a great drive through the forest today & everyone enjoyed their taste of geocaching, think we may have started some new adventurers on their geocaching journey.

Sunrday. Slow Puncture met at Kilcoy early this morning with some other intrepids from the Northside Puzzle Group to nab some higher terrain and difficulty caches.
This one led us up the garden path in more ways than one! After pulling off the main road, we ascended a dirt road which again became more and morte overgrown with lantana. Man this stuff is everywhere out here. As the lantana got too much, coincidentally, this was where to alight for GZ.
We all went into the obvious place where the co-ords pointed to, but no luck. Turns out the generously-sized container had siffered significant cache creep, why is anybody's guess. As a group we agreed that the obvious place was the original hide, so it has been replaced there, after much consideration of the pros and cons of doing so.
As per the cache descriptiom we neither saw deer nor pigs. We did see evidence of cows, and a number of our group stepped in the evidence that was near GZ
This was the 8th of 11 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Scrub Bull***, for showing us this place.

Wow this one took some getting to but enjoyed the drive, several of the tracks got so narrow that we had to turn around - but got there in the end. Started my search without success so after quite some time I made the geowife get out of Mitsi and help me. Thought I was in the obvious spot until I heard the dreaded words 'I can see it over there' - I did think of leaving her in the forest but it wasn't fare on the animals!!!!!! TFTC Scrub Bull

Our last one for the morning, looking at the map I had visions of this being a bit tricky with all the forestry tracks.
ha how wrong could I be.
The topo map on the gpsr had all the tracks so feeling confidant we entered the forest, waved at the motorcross riders, and the friendly lady walking her dogs. We weaved around a couple of cows that had decided the track was a great place to lay down in the shade, we took a right here and a left turn there and we were soon very close to gz.
What was I worried about?
A short walk up the hill to the obvious spot and the log was soon signed.
The track is in great condition at the moment, we didn't spot any deer but thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings.
Tftc and thanks for bringing us here.

Not having a decent map showing the tracks, took a wrong turning and travelled too far southward. A backtrack to the previous junction had me on the correct track, and soon climbed the ridge. "I bet it's on that side track!" And it was, so had to clamber up the bank to get there - saved walking around. Cache easily found. No swaps. TFTC.

Thanks for the cache.

Out and about with Aussie Liahona and bristracker on the Forest Challenge 7 event
This was our first stop and a fun cache to get us all in the mood. A bit of a climb up had to be negotiated, then we made an easy find. Always good to find an ammo can TFTC, Scrub Bull.

On our way around the Forest Challenge course with Green Team2 and ducked in for this cache.

This was my first find for the day and in this particular park. What a great area this is - I don't think I have ever been in here.
Of course I made it more difficult than it needed to be with my approach - which ended up being on foot - but at least I didn't make it a terrain 4 cache After a bit of a hunt I found the beast in a likely area and in excellent condition.
TFTC Scrub Bull - well done

I have driven past this cache countless times, always believing that I had already done it. Today however, with the iPhone app reporting it as unfounded, I went and retrieved it to record a log.
Stopped on course check for the Forest Challenge 7. Cache is in good condition, nice to see a decent cache container being used. Long live the ammo box.
Thanks for the cache.
