Work has sent me from Palmerston North to Hamilton to help with the IT side of our move to a new office. Flights, accommodation, meals, and lunchtime Geocaching in a new area. I love my job! [:X]This was a quick find during my lunch break while on the phone with @TwigNZAfter a while, he said "I'd better let you go so you can find the cache?""Too late mate! Found it, signed it, returned it, now a block away!"
Great cache, fun way to spend my afternoon. Looked for it previously but couldnt find it so I am happy to have found it!
In the area for work and rather than network at the hotel bar in the evening, I came out for a cache wander. This was my second and after realising access was from up top rather than the path, it was a quick find using my torch and having a look behind. Thanks for the smalltalk-free cache!
First time in Hamilton and after a morning of lab hunting I thought it was time to actually sign a log book. While the rest of my non geocaching friends rested up for the first night of watching darts I took off to get this one a a few more lab caches along this way. Thanks for information and cache
Night time cache hunting after the food trucks. Up here for a 3 week block course training, and caching on my downtime. Nice easy find with Mr JJ, cache dry and good nick Mihi ki a koe mo te keteroki #159

Well hidden and easily accessible cache, no muggles around this time of day. Thanks!
A nice easy find while wandering around town. Cheers for teaching me a bit of history about the city. Tftc

I was out for a walk along the river when I thought I'd check to see if there were any caches between me and my accommodation for the weekend. There was one 14m away! Walked up the hill and across the grass. I had an idea where I would hide it, but my phone said I was still 10m out. I thought I'd have a look anyway, and there it was. Seems like my phones is in need of coffee like I am.
A geocaching itch to scratch today so I thought I’d come here and see what I could see.
All nice and quite at the GZ.
Took a quick ready of the info board before starting the cache hunt.
Pa! That was straightforward.
Thanks Butterfly_Lady

Had a little free time with a couple of caches qithin easy walking distance so immediately headed off to find them. A quick and easy find in a nice quiet corner of town. TFTC
Interesting history, I will read more about this area when I get home. Greetings from San Diego TFTC
Enjoying a morning walk with dustlessspider and child who was playing pokemon go. Came on a Sunday, so no muggles around. Thanks for this city find, very much enjoyed the change from the suburbs.
Partner Paul's first cache ever! Nice easy find, very pleasing and we learnt about the pa too. Thanks!
Up in Hamilton for Easter weekend and this one made my ‘to do’ list as it’s one I need for a hidden month challenge. Picked today to find it as it’s a public holiday so it frees up some parking spaces. A quick find. TFTC
Nice easy find. Beautiful look out. Had to clear an ant nest. You are all welcome. I feel kinda bad for them. Sorry ants.
Here to see Mr Michael McIntyre with friends.
A nice quick, easy, grab, sign and flee.

Started looking at the bottom of the cliff and had to climb back up. I should have read the cache description.
A bit of drizzle was helping keep muggles away. This was an interesting place to visit. I found the cache exactly where I expected it to be.
Quick easy find. Loved learning about the history of the area. Found a brick caravan not to far away that we were fascinated by too Thanks for the cache.
This was my first time trying it! Not too hard and rewarding feeling after finding it! Thank you!!

Quick find on my morning walk. Stunning morning along the river. Thanks for the cache.
Day out along the Te Awa on our bikes with TEAM SEAC after a prior rained-out mission. Lovely day hanging with fab friends and finding some caches along the way. TFTC
Today we set out as a Team SEAC group to bike the Te Awa riverside bike trail on a lovely Saturday morning. After getting rained out on a previous attempt to do this ride we finally got a sunny spring day to do the Ngaruwahia to Hamilton Gardens leg. It took us about 5 hours to do approx. 34km with plenty of geocaching and lunch along the way.
This is my first decent bike ride since last summer, so am starting to feel the legs now! TFTC!

I like these elevated areas above the river. This one was great. Nobody around so made a nice quick find. TFTC
A little while ago Mrs NZTravellers suggested we have a day out to ride this trail...unfortunately the original date that was planned had really rough weather so this was the alternative date. A group of around 12 of us turned up and off we went. It was a usual Team SEAC outing with adventure, laughter and a few mishaps along the way!
Phew a lot of hills in this section but we were fueled after lunch (not sure if it was actually better though because some were now sleepy from the food!).
Nice quick find here.
Thanks for the cache.

A sizeable group of Team SEAC had decided to bike the first stage of the Te Awa Bike Ride from Ngaruawahia to the Botanical Gardens in Hamilton. This was our second attempt, as some particularly nasty weather thwarted our previous attempt before we even got started. Luckily, today the weather played ball and we enjoyed a pleasant day's bike ride along the mighty Waikato River.
Sorry that I am not able to post my usual stories about each and every cache that we came across, but I am too buggered after the ride. So generic logs it is this time. We still appreciate all the work that goes into the caches that we found, and thank the COs for planting the caches along this lovely track. We really enjoyed the bike ride and the caching.
The log was signed as Team SEAC, or just SEAC to preserve log space.

Out with members of Team SEAC cycling the Te Awa Bike trail. Awesome day out and a total of 34kms! Thanks for placing this cache and getting outside on our bikes
A few months ago Mrs NZT suggested a cycle ride from Ngaruawahia to the Hamilton Gardens. Our first attempt was postponed due to bad weather. So today a group of us from Team SEAC finally got to do the planned outing. It ended up being 34kms, taking nearly 5 hours, involved lots of laughs, and getting a good number of caches along the way. A nice quick find in the obvious location. Log signed Team SEAC to save space on the log. TFTC.
Was out with Team SEAC on another adventure. Riding this route was in the making for a while but due to weather conditions, we had to put it off another month, till today!
Last lap of our tour and had an hour before the bus left so walked around CBD to nab this cache. Wonderful to read the history of Kirikiriroa. Tft c
Checked out the cache today, and it was missing. Replaced, with a small tweak of the hint.
Possibly been moved? Searched up and down and even used the hits and other photos to help. Only found this on it’s down. Bugger we couldn’t find it but still was fun!
One more cache before heading back to town and 'saving' mrs c from the dress shop magnetism. All good here and an interesting historical spot, thanks for the cache Butterfly lady.
A road trip over the next few days, we have a few days off work booked and are heading up country to Northland, via my Aunt's in Auckland then a couple of days in Mount Maunganui before heading home. Despite it being a target rich environment there are not too many targets, just a few odds and sods when passing will do, thanks to all COs for their cache hides.

TFTC! I have sat within 15m of this cache without knowing it existed lol
