Mount Cole State Forest opened this week. (Buangor State Park and Mount Lonarch Forests remain closed still). We did a reconnaissance trip to see the state of things, and if by chance there had been any small pockets of unburnt land that might have held a cache. No such luck (we weren't holding our breath). The bush is all burnt but will regrow of course. Nature is amazing. But it will take time. At the moment, the ground is still very soft and fragile and the animals still need to return and establish their new homes. Any cache placement would be very exposed and covered in soggy black ash anyway. We will continue to monitor on behalf of the Cache Owner.
The Mount Cole State Forest and Mount Buangor State Park remain closed while recovery works continue. Will continue to monitor.
Posting again on behalf of the CO:The Mount Cole State Forest and Mount Buangor State Park were heavily impacted by the February 22nd bushfires. Both areas remain closed and inaccessible due to the huge amount of fire damaged roads and facilities.Forestry crews have commenced assessment and clearing of fire damaged trees and roads - a mammoth task. The date of reopening the parks has not yet been published, however we will continue to monitor the situation and update as more information comes to hand.Reiterating the previous safety message:PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIND ANY CACHE THAT HAS BEEN DISABLED DUE TO THE BUSHFIRES, regardless of whether you think it is safe or not. Any 'Found It' logs while this cache is disabled for this reason will be subsequently deleted.Thank you again for your understanding.Jo and Glen (chooknchunk)
On behalf of the CO, we are posting this Important Notice:Following the bushfires of February 2024, The Mount Cole State Forest and Mount Buangor State Park are currently CLOSED to the public. While the major fire front has been suppressed, there is still a fair amount of fire activity in the form of smouldering stumps and trees. Local agencies are still attending to hot spots, falling trees, road damage and burnt facilities, and may be doing so for the next few weeks, or months even. Many access roads to the forests are still closed or are for local resident access only.PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIND ANY CACHE THAT HAS BEEN DISABLED DUE TO THE BUSHFIRES, regardless of whether you think it is safe or not. Any 'Found It' logs while this cache is disabled for this reason will be subsequently deleted. We will continue to update the situation as required, and will address the caches involved once access is finally allowed.Thank you for your understanding.Jo and Glen (chooknchunk)
This cache is an an area subject to fire fighting operations (22-23 Feb) and may have been impacted by the fire. It has been disabled until it is safe for the CO is able to check the current condition of the cache.
I wasnt too sure i had the right coordinates for this one but soon enough i stumbled apon a geocacher trail and headed in the right direction. Meanwhile the geopooch enjoyed a refreshing dip in the creek so we both enjoyed this one. Clever Richard is find number 3,072 for me. A great regular mystery cache I enjoyed finding as part of my caching fun in Western Victoria. Unless otherwise mentioned above, I found the coordinates to be accurate, the cache in good condition and the log dry and with plenty of room to sign. I am logging this one on Saturday 11 Nov 2023 at 5:15 pm and the weather is Clear Sky 17C 35% 7 m/s . Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy 2Dudez.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
After our non attempt yesterday, we attempted it today with help. LumpyJ could only get halfway in and decided to sit on a log and enjoy the bush while her Clever Richard kept going with friends. He successfully logged the find with the geohound, who came racing back to me very pleased with their success. Tftc
Well we solved the puzzle but the terrain got the better of us so we turned around. Normally can get a 2.5 but this was out of our league. We loved being brought here and had a wonderful time bird watching. Can't thank you for the cache as we never made it but we can thank you for the wonderful afternoon we had.
Found 8:55 am
It's a bit of a bash to GZ, but once within 5m, the impressive container is seen. Nice area. Recommend doing the Beeripmo counterclockwise as would be far easier than going clockwise. Enjoyed the puzzle and the last cache found before starting the drive back towards Melbourne.

Find #13892
After completing the Beeripmo Walk late yesterday, we were packed up fairly quickly after camping nearby. Went in to this one totally the wrong way, but most importantly we found it.
Massive thanks go to 2Dudez for placing this one.

This campground was packed when we got here, however no tents in site bar one. Perhaps we had missed an event? Walking to the cache, for a while thought maybe we had wrong coordinates. However thought would try anyway, and sure enough found a ammo can in the bush, our favourite. Thanks for adding one to the map out here. Would like to come back one day and do the walk out to the falls from here.

*Cache find # 11904.*
A day out with biggles1024 and after spending a bit of time driving around the tracks in the Mt. Avoca area finding some of the first 500 Victorian caches, we were now heading towards home via the Mt. Cole area for a few other caches.
This one as been sitting in the solved puzzles list for a long time now but I haven’t been to the area to find it, today we were in the right area and decided to have a look.
We arrived at a carpark and headed up a steep track but looking where the compass was pointing we began to wonder if my coordinates were correct as the checker no works I couldn’t check it so we went about solving it again, all seemed correct and we made our way to our GZ.
Once there we started looking around but we weren’t seeing anything, a little while later Mark Discovered the right spot and the cache.
**Thanks to 2Dudez for placing this cache.**

**Mystery Find #906**
I headed out with Steve to Avoca to target some of Victoria's 500 oldest caches.
The weather was perfect all day but once in the bush, our progress was hindered and then stopped a number of times by branches and entire trees that had been downed by last week's storm.

After checking out Raglan Falls, we decided to grab this cache. I'd solved this one for a trip here over 2 years ago - luckily spotted it on the GPSr and we took the FUN walk to GZ today. We got a little lost on the way back to the track but we got there in the end, scratched and scathed but we got there! Thanks for the cache 2Dudez.

So pleased to be logging this cache after solving the puzzle some years ago. The eldest and I decided to venture out and explore Raglan Falls, without checking out if there were any caches around. It wasn't until we we almost to the top that I looked for smilie opportunities close by. Very excited to locate this after 17 months unloved.TNLN TFTC
So sorry that this hadn't been logged, it was only after talking to our hosts this new years that we realised that we hadn't logged the find. Apologies.
Found with [@geo_wife](http://coord.info/PRPJ9T7) after completing the Beeripmo walk. Thanks for the cache.
Found on our trip around Vic to avoid the heat with Roostaman.

**# 23605** Found on a fine day for a drive up past Raglan while at Beaufort.
Hardly any muggles around these roads today thankfully. .
Mostly good safe hides and mainly quick finds.
There was once a track here, but it's well overgrown now.
I forgot to look at the spoiler but found it soon enough when at the right spot.
Thanks for the cache 2Dudez, fav point added,

Found on a great trip to Richards campground for the long weekend. Was a bit of fun solving the cipher and trooping through the bush to find the cache! Thanks for another great cache.
The puzzle was easily solved and the cache itself wasn't too difficult to find, but my approach was needlessly difficult/scratchy (I was going down from Raglan falls and cut across through the ferns). This would best be navigated to from the toilet block - which was where I came out after finding the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Had a go at this yesterday, briefly, before the other walkers arrived but didn't have time or luck.
Returned today after completing the overnight Beeripmo circuit and pleased to get it.
The GPSr indicated quite a few meters below GZ

Well getting here was an adventure no doubt! We came from Chinamans campground to the north wending our way through the forest. A shortcut track seemed a good idea but resulted in De walking down the steep, deeply rutted track checking for the best line for the 4wd to follow. Finally arriving at Richards campsite, we set off on foot on a similarly 4wd type walk without the benefit of a track. GPS led us to a spot that looked suspiciously like where a cache HAD been but casting our search wider and soon found our prey. Thanks for the adventure!
Well and truly of the main drag, that's for sure! Previous log mentioned that they'd taken the hard path to get there....I think that's most paths. Bloke I spoke to earlier today said the brown snakes have just started waking up so I made plenty of noise on my way to this remote cache. TFTC.
This is the cache we are look for and the cache we did find (not like that other one nearby). Like others before us we took some time to find a way in and came away with less blood then we entered with. Nothing too bad though and not enough to prevent us from recommending this cache to others.

A chance for a summer drive and picking up some caches. A bit of a slog to get into the cache, but well worth it. Thanks for bringing us to a spot we never knew about.

A day adventuring with Team Clarmensma around Mt Cole and Beaufort. A great day was had finding some cool caches and taking nice (and sometimes long!) walks. TFTC
Caching in beautiful Mt Cole today with Team Clarkmensma (me, becca85, boo09, neisha07, Adam and Luke). What an amazing mountain - why have I never been before? So excited by the places we discovered today and thankful for geocaching for bringing me here. This one was solved way back when i first started caching so today it was nice to finally collect it. It took a while as to which way we should head in but we soon found a geotrail of sorts and cache was quickly located. Many thanks for this one - lovely spot to visit and walk from here
Each school holidays or thereabouts we form Team Clarmensma, the bionic combo of myself, GemmaSistema, neisha07, boo09, Adam & Luke and choose an area to target and make a day of it.
Today we left the house at 8am and returned at 9.30pm. Not a huge count today, instead we managed some fantastic (& killer!) walks with amazing views. A great day!
A quick solve here the night before but turns out Gemma had it anyway. I needed at least 1 more Puzzle for the day to knock of a 31 Puzzles in 31 days Puzzle and this was it.
Took us a bit to figure out the best way in and I came out with a few scratches afterwards. TFTC

At the campground today for a New Years Day event. ST37E, Fergzter and myself made the detour to collect this one. Thanks for placing.
Finally after solving this puzzle a good 2 or 3 years ago I was in the vicinity to claim the find. So after attending the nearby event I headed off with ST37E and GlanvilleGirls to the GZ for a quick find. Thanks for placing this one. As they say good things come to those who wait....
Having solved this puzzle a while ago I took the opportunity to log the cache with Glanville Girls and Fergzter while attending an event nearby

Out with the gang converting solved mysteries Into smiles. Another one that was solved at work thanks to a break down. Set off to grab the cache with "Harry butler" Sean.75 and McGyver kenare! I hung back and played the theme song to mc gyver while they nabbed and signed the log tftc and mystery
On another outing with kenare and jenno3 solving some more mysteries for the month. The girls had this one solved a while ago and were just waiting to use it. Tftc and the puzzle.
Lucky for us we had a big breakdown at work which gave us the opportunity to solve a few mystery caches. Today was the day we all headed out to convert dots to smiles. This is such a pretty area that I'm so glad I came to. Tftc and puzzle.
Found after finding the Earthcache and other cache nearby. A bit of a bush bash but the photo led us in. Great day for caching. I solved this puzzle a long time ago so I am pleased to find it today. Thanks 2Dudez.
Had one of those rare days that I was completely free......free from work and kids! Sure, it's close to Chrismas and I probably had a heap of things that needed to be done but it was too good of a day to pass up a caching adventure. So I messaged robinyang who picked some great caches around the Mt Cole area.
This is one we had solved previously and here we were to finally hunt it down. The area around the cache was fairly overgrown (or our path in was anyway) but we found a cache in great condition. Thanks 2Dudez for this cache.

Visited Mount Cole today with one half of team Mark&Kelly. Kelly had done all the hard work figuring out the coordinates and when she showed me her solution, saw it was a very nice puzzle. I was thankful that she had solved it as I would have struggled to find a solution.
We drove around and was thankful that my 2WD could make it all the way to the published GZ. Once there, we navigated our way to the cache. We took a few wrong paths but eventually our GPS had us within 10m and after a quick search had this very nice sized container in our hands. Lovely area with lush ferns in this valley. Thank you for bring us here.

Today was a planned day of hitting Mt. Cole, Mt. Buangor, Mt. Langi Ghiran and Beaufort for some unloved caches. We were lucky to have great weather and great company along the way making for a successful and an enjoyable day.
We have had this puzzle solved for a long time but hadnt had the opportunity to cache in the area until today. With a successful difficult find not so far away we headed over to enjoy the picnic area for lunch and to claim the smiley for this one. We headed off in the wrong direction initially as we thought it wasn't too far off the path, but we soon realised we were on the wrong side of the creek and turned back. On our second attempt we were successful and found the cache in good condition within 10 metres of GZ.
Thanks 2Dudez for the nice puzzle and the beautiful location.

I had this puzzle solved so long ago, I had almost forgotten that I had solved it! Today, after a start on the wrong side of the creek, we repositioned ourselves and made the find. For us today, we found the cache about 8m from where our GPS was pointing. Nice puzzle and nice spot. We had our lunch here before we headed off to find more caches! Caching today with The Tritonz and Na'wal.

A day out was planned and I was a late tag a long. The plan was to tackle a few unloved caches, one being one day before two years in some the beautiful area of Mt. Cole. The day was a successful one, claiming four unloved caches for the day. It was a beautiful, sunny spring day that started at 8am and a late arrival at home of 11pm with some great company and plenty of laughs.
McLookes, theTritonz and myself had this as one of our targets today. We parked in the car park and decided to go one way to this one. Um, that was the wrong way to go. Back around and we followed what looked to be a little walking track. We soon found ourselves at the final, a bit of a search and we finally locatted this one. I was able to claim 214 days of unloved on this cache Stamped and replaced as found.

The morning after the Beaufort Bash dinner, Suscoes accompanied us to a few caches in places not friendly to their geo vehicle. With the approval of Evince we made our way to this very formally named cache! We were very surprised to find an unattended fire in the camping ground. Reaching the cache proved to be a bit more than the average morning walk. The track was very overgrown and prickly in parts.
Thanks to 2Dudez for the hunt.

Suscoe as out and about this morning in the company of Phetlern to find a few more caches before the BBQ event @ Beaufort.
It was a sunny and warm morning as we headed to the north of Beaufort.
We had sorted this cache some time ago and so being in the area it was nice to tick it off the list.
A nice walk and a nice hide.
Pity about the human deposits along the track.
Thanks to 2Dudez for placing this cache and for the puzzle.

Found with The 2 Wanderers during a weekend at Raglan with chooknchunk. A few muggles around today so it was entertaining to work out ways of distracting them from what we were doing. Good size cache in a lovely area. TFTC
Had solved the puzzle code ages ago, and had tried to get it at Easter, but WAY too many campers around on the day we stopped by. As we are local, it was easier to just leave it for another day. Today nobody else was here. Took a wrong path the first time - not that that was a problem as that was a nice walk too. We must have been getting tired after that, because after we eventually got to gz, both of us managed to literally walk past the cache, before Chunk found it on his second pass. Absolutely beautiful location. It was a stunning autumn afternoon, and Cave Hill Creek was trickling along crystal clear and the fresh forest air was amazing. TFTC
First tried this back in April this year and was convinced I had solved the puzzle but the gps put me about ten Km's away from the campsite. Gave up in the end, vowing to come back one day and find it. Realised when i got home that the gps needed updating! it was with great enthusiasm that I set out this weekend with my 'up to date' gps, hoping to find the cache. Had a lovely couple of days camping apart from several run ins with leeches, and found the cache quite easily. Not without the addition of an extra leech or two though! Thanks for hiding this cache here. It is a great place to get away to and so nice to have finally ticked this one off the list!

This was such a pleasant find and I was very relieved to have a found it.
I had worked out the puzzle a year or two ago but never had the chance to go see.
If there was one cache I wanted to find it was this one. I hoped it would be still there when I got to the camp area.
Surprisingly it was found fairly quickly.
After the wait I deserved to grab a swap, taking an engraver and leaving some swaps.
Thanks 2Dudez for a great cache.

What's a 2Dudes cache without a bit of bushbashing? I walked through a muddy creek, tiptoe'd along a fallen tree, I have several cuts and scratches from sharp plants but thankfully I stumbled and found the cache quickly

Made the kids stay behind on this one because someone's previous log mentioned leeches, but we must've used a different path as there were no leeches on our journey to the cache. It took us longer to figure out the code than what it did to go and grab it. This is only our 2nd puzzle cache so we were a bit aprehesive as the last puzzle cache we did took us a couple of days to figure out! This one was a whole lot easier to figure out. The picnic area was lovely and the kids enjoyed looking for gold in the little babbling brook. TFTCSL TNLN
Great little walk around mount cole. A little bush bash at the end. Been going to Di this for years on our ballooning weekends at cave hill creek.
Camped the night in Richard campsite, noone about on a Monday night, had the whole place to myself.
The hiding spot was tough to get to, heaps of ferns thick and tall, it was tough to barge through them without falling over or tripping. Slowly I made my way in, and it took me about 10 minutes on the side of the hill to spot the hide. Really well hidden!

Much the same experience as the previous finders. My first Mystery cache found and a few do's and dont's learned. DONT be afraid of a little rain and discomfort/ rush entering the co-ords on the GPS/try to use an umbrella in thick bush!/stand on wet logs. Finally DO enjoy the great feeling of achievement in finding this type of cache/enjoy the bush/be prepared to do good trades in this cache - some quality swaps here. Thanks for a great cache here 2 Dudez, really enjoyed it.
Well, what can we say about this one? We were clever Richards in solving this but there our cleverness ended.
We loved the walks around here so much we did them twice. Went on our first walk to our GZ and then proceeded to search for at least 45 min. Surely it can't be so hard to find an ammo can in the forest. Dejectedly we headed back to the picnic area thinking that we would have to claim a FTF for this (First To Fail). We couldn't even take solace in just enjoying the peace of the lovely picnic area as class full of squealing mini muggles descended from the forest and took up residence there. Sitting in our GeoVan looking at where we would go next, Mrs TiedyeSmileys rechecked the working out for this and then realise we had transposed 2 numbers on our GPSr, Doh!!!!! Amazing what a difference this can make.
Back we went through the mini muggles (thinking this may be a better approach (wrong)) and back to our new GZ. This involved going through head high bracken the way we chose just to add to the fun. Arriving at the new GZ the cache was soon found. We went back to the GeoVan on a more direct route, wondering why we didn't try this way on the way in.
Thanks for taking us to this lovely spot.

Found it whilst staying at the nearby 'Cave Hill Creek'. The heavy rain over summer has certainly effected the area - nice and green and creeks flowing, but also some erosion of some tracks and roads. Richards campground is a good spot that I've camped at a few times in the past. Thanks 2Dudez.
Great spot and great hide. Liked the puzzle. First ammo can cache I've found. It's definately more fitting in the bush. This cache is a good utilities cache however my daughter wanted the kangaroo so I left bottle opener. TFTC

On the way to the camp-site i went for some caches and this was the first one. I took kind of a stupid path to the cache however the way back was much better I left a TB in the cache
[green]Thanks for placing a nice ammo can

Definitely have to go through the scrub to find this one. Tried from one direction that looked the easiest way but soon discovered we needed to find another way to GZ. Nice hide

I found this camping spot about 3 years ago and absolutely loved it. Planned on coming back at some stage and a trip to Warrnambool was the opportunity. I saw that a cache had been placed here which made life even easier as I didn't have to remember how to get back there, so solved the puzzle before leaving Sydney.
The best laid plans of mice and men. Arrived at the site late afternoon on the 24th, and Anna thought the site was beautiful. Wood available, nobody around and all the needed facilities in a beautiful spot. Great, let's get setup and relax. Open the back of the car and went "where's the tent"? Whoops!
Remembered stopping just out of Ballarat to get some snacks/drinks out of the car fridge and throwing the tent on the roof to get to the fridge. Oh no, we must have left it there. Time to turn around and head the 60+ km back to where we stopped. Got there and no sign of the tent, someone must have spotted the blue bag on the ground and stopped to investigate. Checked the first couple of km down the road but no sign of it, so a beautiful night's camping turned into an overpriced Ballarat motel. Bugger.
So this morning we proceeded back west along the highway keeping an eye out in case it somehow hung on for longer but not too be. Back to the not-to-be Richard's camping area and into the bush where the cache was located after a short search. A lovely spot to revisit sometime with a tent - and also have more time to explore the rest of the area. Thanks 2Dudez.

Not sure whether I'm a Clever Richard or not. I solved the code ages ago and decided that today was the day to collect my reward. I drove out to the appropriate spot, only to realize that, because I have since taken up paperless caching, my solution was still at home on the original printout and not on my GPS. So I had to solve it all over again, as I sat, having lunch at a shady table. So ... Am I a twice as clever for solving it twice, or does the arrival without the numbers cancel it out????????? Never mind! All is well that ends well and the container was soon found. No swaps made. I'm familiar with several of these picnic areas but have not been to this one before. Many thanks, 2Dudez, for introducing me to a very pleasant spot that I might not otherwise have visited.
The code was cracked some time ago in preparation for this trip. I'd orginally intended on coming into this area on the way to Geelong and the bus taking me to the start of the 2009 GVBR, only I got held up caching along the way, then there was no room at the inns in Ararat so I travelled through to Ballarat.
Today was the day for the successful visit, can I now call myself a Clever Richard? Despite the grey skys, and the overnight and morning rain I managed to stay dry while accessing this cache.

We solved the puzzle more through deduction and elimination than any genuine insight into how the cipher worked.. but in the end we found a great location and great cache full of high quality swaps. We didn’t swap today as just as we opened the cache it began to rain, forcing our retreat to the car. We have just started to explore this area and are looking forward to being able to find quite a few more caches, and explore a few more areas in these mountains. Thanks for yet more quality caching 2Dudez.
What a beautiful campground. We were stupid at first and attacked GZ from the walking track from the campground.. gave up on that idea and tried the path off near where we parked the car. Success soon followed and we were lucky enough to find a cache with an occy strap. We just broke the one holding our side gate shut so it came at a great time. replaced the strap with a battery powered engraver. Hope someone might find some use it.
Out for a afternoon's caching with fullonphil & Emily this was our second stop. Cracker Girl had solved this puzzle many months ago but this was our first chance to be in the area. We were planning on having lunch here but the sheer amount of European wasps changed our mind for us. We headed off towards gz and again made it a lot harder than it needed to be but we were really relived to find the cache where the GPSR said it should be
Thanks 2Dudez for the cache and for showing us this spot

Nice simple puzzle and a great final area. Thanks to 2Dudez for the cache and for showing me the lovely spot..
Found on our way home with caravan hooked on, another nice spot to camp 2Dudez. Thanks for showing us this spot

Just after setting up camp at the Mulled on the mountain we set off with pprass to do some caching around the area, clever Richard was our first stop and after a bit of rough driving we got to the cache position and the race was on to see who could find the cache first. unfortunately the more experienced pprass found this one before us.
thanks for the cache.

Found at 1.15pm GAFF1 in the company of The Grovers. Our first cache after setting up camp at the Mulled event. A great spot and so peaceful. We were being directed a lot lower down with odd GPS readings, but after widening our search, the cache was in hand. Thanks 2Dudez for showing us this spot.
Find # 2435 and 6th of the day at 2:56pm after dropping off the caravan at the Mulled on the Mountain Event. I had this one solved the day it was released, so it has been a long time coming. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx 2Dudes....
Found along with 4 Fun, I think we found a couple of fallen trees across the tracks on the way here.
Thanks 2Dudez
Thanks 2Dudez
Found by McAdies.
The 5th 2 Dudes cache we found for today.
The co-ordinates were worked out after a bit of lateral thinking and the cache found after a lovely walk.
We may have to come back here for a picnic another time.
Thanks for bringing us to a fantastic spot.

This code wasn't to hard to crack after having completed Zytheran's Cipher series in Adelaide.
A nice easy find in the end, and a great area to explore by 4WD [^]
Cheers, TFTH 2Dudez

Well we started out the day with a caravan muster at Lexton, but as everybody seemed content to socialise or snooze away the day in an attempt to avoid the heat, we decided that an air-conditioned fourby would be best to keep us cool. (Especially as there are caches close by that we can search for.)
we are really impressed with this spot, it's not often that you find a really good camping spot. Pity there is no access for caravans though.
Found the cache easily after a short walk

How could "Clever" Dik go past this cache???????????
This cache is located near the trailhead of the Beeripmo track, which was my challenge for the weekend.
Unfortunately I came in to the cache from the main trail, and that is the difficult path with nettles amongst the bush. This is a great cache with quality swaps, I had nothing of suitable value to leave and needed to forge onward so made no trade.
Onward back to the trail and a great 2 day walk with overnight stop at Beeripmo Camp on the mountain top. Even though the weather report advised of a mild evening in Melbourne, it was a rough wet and windy night, but that all ads to the challenge. The rain cleared around 11am and I proceeded to Mt Buangor summit and a spectacular view across Langi Ghiran. It is only from here that it's volcanic origins become truely clear. Then back down the valley to the starting point.
24 hours later I returned to the cache, finding the "correct" way in and made a trade.
The only down side of the experience was that there was only one other cache on the trail, everything else was done as a drive-by after returning from the bush.
Thanks for a great cache that started a great weekend.

Found by Mary & David at 1000. Rather a special cache for us - our 5000th GC find (and the time was a coincidence). We wanted one that was in the Victorian bush, placed by a cacher team we've met, and the puzzle made it perfect. Here we are with tree ferns, a blackwood, other magnificent trees, sunshine and birds everywhere.
The 5½ years since we first started geocaching have flown by and have given us enormous enjoyment as well as added meaning to our long-held love of travelling. We've taken up 4WDing and camping along the way, and also added a whole social network of new and special friends. The fact that we can do this together adds to the pleasure.
We took an empty Jarvis Walker compartment box (Mary took a leech as well - she can find them almost anywhere), and left a set of 6 precision screwdrivers. We also collected the 'Coffee ?' geocoin. Our thanks in particular to 2Dudez for providing this memorable experience for us, and also to all the other cachers whose efforts in placing caches for others to find have made this occasion possible for us.

Found by Roma and Max.
We resolved this puzzle when first listed but various obligations have kept us away from the geo scene over the past several weeks, except for the occasional hit! Sounds like an addiction doesn’t it!
On arrival near GZ we found we had to park amongst a number of horse floats and their occupants, but not a rider in sight? However voices eminating from the nearby shelter indicated luncheon was in progress. This gave us a window of opportunity to get on with our search without any prying eyes to contend with. Some bushbashing was rewarded by good co-ordinates and we soon had our objective in hand.
We swapped one of our usual Mondo Figurines for a small Screwdriver set.
Thanks 2Dudez for this challenge and we particularly liked your very thoughtful co-ord checker, a nice touch for a well constructed mystery.

It was around 3pm Friday when Shelby gave me a call to say that there was a new cache by 2Dudez and she decided to sit down and see if it could be solved. Apparently it took around 5 minutes of examination before the magical coordinates appeared. Excited by this Shelby rang to say we are going for a drive on Saturday to find this cache.
So on Saturday morning we headed off for the cache. It was cold but sunny as we arrived at the cache location and after a short walk the cache was easily found and the blank log book was signed (our 134th FTF).
Many thanks to 2Dudez for the cache and a good excuse to get out and experience a great cache location.
Taken FTF scratchie (won $7.00), Left a couple of things.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the “Clever Shelby†Clan.
