After doing the walk to Goolman Lookout and Goolman Mountain we decided to loop around to get this one on the way back to the car. We hadn't looked at any logs. We hunted here and there and then I asked hubby to look and see if it was being found. Lo and behold we saw all the DNF's - no wonder we couldn't find it. I think this needs to be archived.
Hunted high and low, down into hole and under things.
No Luck.

Haven't been caching in ages, but we came to Hardings Paddock for a hike. Thought we'd fire up the old app for some extra fun. Couldn't find it, although (rookie error) we didn't look at the hint that is provided.
Looked in all the obvious spots and finally called a previous finder who confirmed where it should be. We checked and checked again but it seems this one is gone! TFTH.
I was out caching with Misssusan79 on this cold and windy day. Misssusan had already found this one so it was an easy find for me. Lovely area. TFTC!
I had not been to this picnic ground before.
It is amazing where geocaching takes you.
It has great amenities and lovely picnic tables complete with a water feature.
Counted wrong way at first and then I followed the GPS and counted right and geopartner made the find.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks The Rainbow Adventurer All good with this cache

Great camping area. Well done up with picnic tables at each site. Very quiet this weekend, but picnic area busy. Love the old cattleyards. Tftc
Today we explored Hardings Paddock area and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. This is why we love geochachching bringing us to places like this. TFTC
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

After slogging it up to the lookout... I may have driven as close as possible to this cache... This is quite a pretty reserve, thanks for bringing me here and tftc... left some American coin...
Out on a cache maintenance drive in the country we stopped to find this cache today. I've been here before and didn't know about this cache at that time but I was happy to find it today. Many thanks The Rainbow Adventurer for placing the cache here in this amazing park. So many different activities can be enjoyed here. Cache was found in good condition, we signed the log and replaced. [^][^]
Our 12,000 hide.
What a great spot to bring us to, didn't know this reserve was here.
We read the hint & did the counting of post & rails & the cache was soon found & logged.
This cache deserves a favourite point for location & also because we have made it to this amazing number.
Thanks The Rainbow Adventurer for helping to making this special for us.

Out for a morning of caching with Buzzgirls on a drive to Boonah and back. Plent of hores riders gearing up for a ride this morning but we managed to find this one without attracting their attention. Tftc
Lovely little park & campgrounds... Have a feeling I'll be back to this spot... Found this one quite quickly... Thnx
Found with stairman1 and geodog. We were heading home after visiting some friends and decided to grab this one. The car gps wasn't playing nicely so we changed our plans and headed to this one via another cache. We arrived at the carpark just as my iPhone died. So we just starting searching randomly and stairman1 located the container. Signed our names then headed back home .Thanks for the cache
Found with goldielover today. Loved the nice quiet park out here. WE had the place all to ourselves. Love the place.

Out and about today with Swellerfungus and Pippa, going for a walk near Mt Goolman so we came to fetch this one first. Nice hide, thanks.
No one else in my family likes going caching so I need to sneak them in where I can.
Today we were out for a drive checking out possible weekend camping spots close to home.
As we drove in to this one, the girls spotted the horse yards and asked to go and look at them. Who am I to say no?
Luckily the cache was found before they'd finished checking out the area.
I'll have to wait for a camping weekend before I can look for the others here.
Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC, The Rainbow Adventurer.

...and this is the reason we cache folks....hideaways like this that we just know we will have to come back and visit again! What a terrific spot, and so many walking tracks that I will have to come back to enjoy. This was a little hideaway heaven. Thanks for showing me!
Found this cache whilst on the way to Stanthorpe with Captain Terror. He had already found this cache but I managed to convince him to pull over for me to get it. We got out of the car and headed over to GZ. I was glad to have the Captain with me as I don't like putting my hands in places that I can't see. I signed the logbook and replaced the cache before heading back over to the car and off to the next one. Thanks for the cache Rainbow Adventurer.
We drove down the wrong street first and came to a sign saying "no entry, go back" so we attempted from another angle and Lisylou soon made the find.

We originally drove to a spot and it said do not enter, go back, so we figured there must have been a better point to enter, we found the nice picnic area and realised we were now in the right spot. Lovely area. Tftc.
Part of some caches today with Dvette. A couple of muggles around with one grumpy horse! TFTC
Nice easy find with the geokids. Few people here but up other end. Thanks for bringing us to a part of the world we never would of found if not for geocaching

Our last search of a very looooong day, as the daylight was beginning to fade. BC had found this one already, so left me to do the searching. He handed out some smart comments about my not being able to count, and how funny it was going to be seeing if I could actually reach the cache (as I am shorter than he is ), but I was not daunted and pretty soon had the container in hand [^] TFTC, The Rainbow Adventurer, and for showing me this area. And thanks for replacing it, Fangsoki

Wow! Isn't amazing what you find out here in the back blocks. A great picnic area and amenities worth a re-visit. Glad there was no live stock in the yards as I was in and out of quite a few before zeroing in on the correct spot. Cache in good order and coin retrieved. Thanks Rainbow Adventurer
After a fairly good look that was hampered by two motorbike riders we were unable to find it even with the help of the quite obvious hint!
Rode over from Flinders Plum on the geocycle. There were a few horses in the corals, but they did not mind me searching once they had had a bit of a rub on the nose Swapped TBs. Awesome trail to get here. Now for the 13km back to the car ))
A nice easy find after returned from the two cache on the peaks. Grabbed some lovely bush lemons from the nearby trees and then it was home for a well deserved rest. TFTC
They've certainly donw a great job of setting this area up for horsey visitors! With the recent work on the structure, it seemed a pity not to have a cache in the area, so the decision was made to replace the missing one. I almost wish I'd borrowed a horse for the walk we just did - it would have made those hills much more palatable! TFTC, The Rainbow Adventurer and Fangsoki . =^.^=
Having completed the walk from this picnic area up to the summit of Mt. Goolman and back, Fangsoki, Brother Colin, La Kedi, Dosshell and myself decided to go check this one out. With a couple of DNF's it seemed unlikely to be there though. There was a council worker pottering around nearby, but paid us no attention. The area has had some works and as we got closer to GZ it was evident that very recently some new gates have been installed right at GZ. Very likely the cache got tossed out during construction. Fangsoki had an appropriate replacement container so we got a nice spot to poke it back although as stated, the hint may require some altering. In the cache went and covered up to look inconspicuous. A great area that deserves to still have a cache here. TFTC Rainbow Adventurer
I arrived for today's hike a little early so thought I'd grab this one before the others arrived.
No luck. I think it is missing as there seems to have been recent work on the cattle/ horse corrals. Maybe a worker removed it.

Today a group of us ( Geoff, Steve, Janet, Thomas and myself) headed off for a walk to grab the three caches starting near here. We were a little worried about the rain forecasts leading up to today but in the end we had cloud cover but no rain. Though the tracks were a little slippery in places.
Unfortunately this one seems to have disappeared. When we returned we decided to replace this one as it could be a difficult place to have another cache placed in the near future. Many thanks to Geoff who had the necessary items.
Thanks for the cache.

So yes - I have broken a geocaching cardinal sin. We replaced the cache.
With a group of 5 of us not able to find this one - and given the recent changes to GZ, I decided to replace it because -: the cache owner has not logged on in over 2 years - and being a conservation park, I was concerned another cache may not be able to be published here. Also, I had a suitable container with me. I have emailed the cache owner and if they wish me to delete my find - I will.
The only muggle about was a worker that was not interested in us as we examined everything. We found a suitable place for the container and then signed the new log. The cache is in the same areas as the other one. The new hint can be "Up and inside".
Thanks for showing me the nice area, The Rainbow Adventurer. TFTC

Not sure that it is here. 2 attempts, before and after orienteering in the area with no luck.
Nice area in here, but no horses around today, only some cattle. The cache was found after a short search at 1105. Logs damp, but useable.

Pleased to find it today but to find the condition of the container and being a rainy day today the paper inside was damp and fragile, finders logs & ink fading.
didnt log my visit, didnt leave or take anything.
there was a large Bull inside the Paddock & lockup time, B wanted to lock the gates.

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Found the cache with ease after working out how to unlock the gate and then army crawling over the next hurdle.
Noticed the lid on the cache has cracked and may leak water in it so we returned the cache upside down so that it would stay dry if we get some more rain
An excellent spot and a great hide!

My first visit to this area was some years ago, and it was just open grassland. Local Govt. have done a very good job in developing the area, making it a delight to visit. Took nothing. Left a member of the Simpson family. TFTC.

*There are some major renovations and constructions going on which may effect this cache. Might be wise for the owner to check on this one.

With orienteering at Harding's Paddock it was a very short walk down to the cache - no pencil on me or in the cache alas, so I'll need to return anotherday to sign the log, but I took out a jelly baby but left another food item which is much more durable. nice hide.
Was here for a picnic. Fun hide, geokid gave us giggles trying to get through a gate whilst it was opening. Took Singapore coin left glow in the dark bat. Log signed. The nearby park is an awesome place to picnic and have a BBQ. Also highly recommend the bush Tucker walk. What a great cache and location! Thank you!
The Rainbow Adventurer here!
Our Goecache is awesome! We found it exactly were it should be in a beautiful and clever location. Ha ha! Took some toys left some too but there all cool. Yee Har! Move em out! Raw hide. Watch out for the mounted muggles fellow Adventurers.

Found at 1600Hrs. Arrived at this at out-of-the-way park this morning to find people all over the place. There were 3 carloads of people wandering around the park and a team of workers at a construction site close to GZ. They seemed to be upgrading the Goolman Horse Trail facilities. So with no access, we headed off to find some other caches in the area.
We returned on the way home to find the work still in progress, but they had to knock off for the day soon didn't they? Well it seems that this mob were contractors more interested in getting the job done than going home. The RAAF entertained us by doing circuits in their new toys while we waited. Eventually the workers packed up and left and we had the area to ourselves. The cache was quickly found and I can report that it is not in the actual construction site. TNLN
I dont know when the construction work will be finished, so at the moment this one is a weekend or after hours prospect only.
Thanks The Rainbow Adventurer

dodge the rain today to find this great little area. No one else was in the park and the geohound had a great time in and around the little dam. Area is nice green after all the rain. Cache is nice and dry. Will have to go back to the area and do the longer walks.

Great spot. Easy find. I'll be back here to do the walks when I have more time. Pity there's no camping allowed. TNLN Thanks for bringing us here.
Quick find today by the Downey Clan after reading previous cacher entries (sorry to hear about the broken leg!). Our Garmin Nuvi also took us straight up to the bugger off sign, but having read the updated stash note we searched for the street and followed the dirt track to a beautiful park. We stopped and had lunch before we set of to find the cache, which with the help of the clue, we found in a matter of minutes.
Best bit was seeing a RAAF jet fly overhead, bank and turn to land. Being this close to the base meant we got to see the plane real close.

Hey guys. This cache is easily accessable via the Harding's Paddock Picnic Area, off Carmichael's Road - thus avoiding the need to bush bash or cross private property.
I also saw the keep out sign but as there was no gate decided to proceed. About 5 minutes later I was stopped by the owner of the land and explained to him what I was about. He thought it was quite a buzz having something like this around and has no problems with people using the road for this purpose. The track runs to within about 400m of the cache through an unlocked gate, then its bush bashing.
However, I didn't quite make it. While trying to find a way around the lantana on the north side of the creek I stepped onto grass that didn't have any earth under it and broke my leg. I was about 50m from GZ. Getting out was then a quite different exercise. Suffice to say I made it.
Logged this as a warning to others about the terrain coming from the south and to note the owners knowledge of what we do.

What a nice spot this tuned out to be, I arrived and had the whole place to myself. Found the cache. It was late afternoon so I was running out of time to do the other caches nearby. Never mind it's a good excuse to return. TFTC.
Seemed to be on private property. 500 meters to go and came to #62 and a very large sign saying `DO NOT ENTER GO BACK'.!!
So we left and continued on to the next one.

Found at 1230. Was driving down the Ipswich Boonah road when I spied a brown park sign indicating the name Harding etc to my Left, but this was not where the GPSr wanted me to go. So I followed the sign and not the machine as I now suspected that I was being lead to this private property that has been mentioned before.
Drove past the little cemetry and the Air Force rifle range then realised that this is not a road to travel in wet weather, unless you are in a 4WD and not my 2WD Kia.. Nice park at the end of the road. Part of the area is closed but I walked around the outside fence and found GZ quickly and with no problems. TNLNSL TFTC

No sign of bison today in fact, no sign of anything except the muggles and their dog on the other side of the site. I snuck this one in before the dark clouds that were very close by, moved in and drowned me mid hunt.
This is another one of those areas that you would never know existed until someone gives you a reason to go. Such is the marvel of this great sport....
Nice quick find when I reached GZ. Cache is all nice and dry and contents are all good. I broke with tradition and used the back of one of the pages... Tis one of my pet hates when only one side of the page is used used and the someone reports a full log... I urge fellow cachers to follow suit and ensure we make the most of a good log book.
Cheers

We tried to follow GPSr with maps loaded but were directed to a private fenced block. Back to the corner nearest to the cache and it still appeared as though we needed to cross private property. Obviously not if others have been successful????
