A check tonight revealed the final WP container had disappeared in the recent floods.
Time to let this one go as it has not been very popular although the teams who had found it seemed to enjoy the cache.
Unfortunately multi's with more than two waypoints seem to have gone out of fashion with the current generation of paperless number chasers.
I plan to replace this unpopular multi with some traditionals. (Unless another team beats me to the spots)
Our thanks to all the teams who have provided positive feedback on the cache and the work we put into developing it.
Cheers

Lovely mansion... we admired it from across the valley at a different cache before heading in to do this one. Unfortunately, the whole school was heading down to the sports ground, so was a slow wait as hundreds of teens ambled past. Final GZ was worth the wait. Cache found easily. Really enjoyed the GIANT tree nearby (see photos). Unforunately, the photos do not do justice to it.
Found with GoldJ on second attempt. First day was wet and cold so reluctantly gave up sooner than usual. TNLN TFTC
Finally found thanks to a nudge in the right direction from Team Ladava. Took a car and left a soldier. Another well-hidden cache by the Team.
We gave it our best shot, but were not sure if we had calculated GZ correctly. We couldn't find the cache at the spot we were searching anyway. Will email Team Ladava for some guidance me thinks!!

An easy find just after sunset. I forgot this one had been replaced recently so I was looking for the usual container under a pile of sticks, but the typical Team Ladava hide soon revealed itself to me! The outside of the cache was very damp and mucky but the inside was dry. I was surprised to find I was only the second person to sign the log since the cache had been replaced.

Found it with jaspers nana after some confusion and being stung by nettles!!!!! Ouch!!!! Be careful around GZ.
Replaced the cache with a new, camouflaged and hopefully more secure hide not far from the original gz and revised the formula in the cache notes to the new co-ords.
Well, another lot of school holidays, another missing cache but it will return in another location and form as the story and journey is worth re-jigging the cache.
I had done the leg work on this one a while ago, but a brain fade had me looking in another spot.
Went out last weekend scoping places for a hide, and found a lovely spot to hide it. I planned to come back in the next few weeks.
Recalculated the co-ords for this one, and MY GOD, I found myself at THE EXACT spot I had picked for my hide.
No cache to be found, despite 20 minutes of searching.
Email sent to Team Ladava for guidance.

Ran out of time last week, so I skipped the multi....after robust discussion with myself about possible answers to various questions, I narrowed it down to two possibilities...and quickly found the cache at the first. A good run around. Thanks.
Following the previous DNF logs we checked the final location and all is well and intact with no sighting of any nasty sharps.
We will contact the teams direct re their calculations.
We have also added a check calculation to the cache notes as some teams have indicated difficulty at one of the waypoints.

Two DNF's in a row for this cache....even with TeamGeoPlesk assisting. Judging by the previous log it sounds like we were in the right place however I have heard rumors about the spot the coordinates took us to to be covered in syringes, so we gave it a miss. Maybe another time Team Ladava.
As Team_Ninja said... no such luck. Had a few problems interperating the requirements i think but were hesitant to look in where our gz took us from previous experience.
Struggled with the chimney component but after substituting two numbers found the cache in the end. We had a short walk on the hallowed turf and even explained geocaching to some local swimming in the creek. Also enjoyed reading of accidental finds in the log book. The albino magpie is still in the area. NINO SL TFTC
A magnificent mansion and entertainment from the 100+ geese roaming the cricket ground helped us to enjoy this cache. Unfortunately our chimney counting ability let us down and it took us a few goes to come up with the right answer. Eventually we got it right and had the cache in hand at 4:30pm.

Finally!! Started this one last night during an enjoyable night's caching with G.finder. Great little tour of the area and nice spot for the cache. Grabbed geocoin to take back to Tassie. Thanks for the cache, Team Ladava
I have driven past the entrance gates on many occasions and seen Rupertswood from afar, but today was the first time I had ventured into the estate for a closer look. Each of the waypoints was interesting (complete with geese and ducks blocking the road near the stadium), and then I made my way to the picturesque area at GZ where the cache was soon in hand. TNLN. Thanks for the historical tour, Team Ladava.
No sign of the Albino magpie, but we did see a couple of muggles and their dogsout walking while we were at GZ. They passed unaware of us.
Some interesting places along the way and a nice quick find at the end.
Left Geocoin.
Thanks again Team Ladava

Found in conjunction with Team CDNB. What an amazing building, there must have been a lot of money flowing when it was built. Have passed this building on many occassions while on the train to Bendigo, but to see it up close is something else. We gathered the other information, doing a couple of other caches on the way, and when we got to the GZ, C of CDNB quickly found the cache.

A nice little interesting historical tour, with almost some "ambiguity" at the view, but we sorted that out OK. Then off to a nice little GZ for an easy find.

This was our 7th Team Ladava cache today and we left this one till the end of the day when it was a bit cooler. At the first wpt they were preparing for a wedding and every one was busy. Later on at the final we met the happy bride and groom when they stopped for photos. We drove down some now familiar streets and we felt we knew a little bit more about Sunbury than the normal passerby. GZ was fortunately empty of muggles so we could log a quick find at 1830 hrs.
Left 30's badges, Took Mondo.
Thanks Team Ladava and Team_Ninja for providing most of the entertainment on this hot day. See you again soon to finish them off.

Team Ladava called back to bounce TB 'Behind the 8 Ball' in and out as one of the challenges in 'Cache Converters' game.
We started this cache a couple of months ago but unfortunately light beat us that time. At wpt 1 we collected the info after a couple of discussions and then headed off to wpt2 where the information was quickly gathered. Wpt 3 was next in an area that was familiar to us as we have done a couple of fireworks displays for the Sunbury festival not far from here. The sun had gone down and we couldn't see the number of chimneys so today we have returned with plenty of light to finish the cache. We hadn't been to gz before and enjoyed our stroll to the cache

[214] 10.50am - Found on our Sunbury day with cdmark, Team Rubik and GeoJnr - We got some great views of this place driving around. As per cdmark and Team Rubik logs we had some fun finding this one. - TFTC Team Ladava - cheers
Our fifth cache on our Sunbury and beyond marathon with Team Rubik, Team GraMon and GeoJnr (D had to work today). This is what I like a nice historical multi that takes us to great spots and makes us appreciate some of the local history. We spied the mansion from a higher location previously and it looks very impressive from nearby as well. They must have had some trouble with 'hawkers' in the past and have placed a cannon by the front entrance - must get me one of those. There was a little debate over the number of arches but we got there in the end and headed to the next spot. Great to see a nice green oval - not so great to see sumguy park illegally and then get out of the car with a loaf of bread to create a swarm of ducks on the road. A few drivers we passed did not look like they were able to read the speed limit signs and I was worried their might be duck soup on the menu. Again some debate on the number of letters which we found later threw us a bit but that happens . A great view from WP3 and then a pretty good search in the wrong spot, and then a quick search in the right spot gave us the cache. TFTC Team Ladava and also the tour of your fair land. Cheers.

Of all the caches we did today this one gave us the most grief, and it was just the second clue that threw us out! We assumed the answer was the elongated form and GZ put us at the base of a large tree in a beautiful little park not far from WPT3. We searched for some time without luck however. We then tried some other numbers and found the right tree in another beautiful little park not far from WPT 3!!
Oh well, it makes for a memorable day.
Thanks guys,

We attempted to find this one, however the GPS was going haywire and as we got into the final stages of the cache it started pouring rain, forcing us to give up. We will try again another time.
I had been gathering the numbers for this and a few other caches on previous work visits to the area and today it was a bit easier to get to the final location with a car and not a truck.
We arrived at the final cache location and after a pleasant walk arrived at the cache GZ and it was only seconds before the cache was found due to accurate coordinates.
We needed to keep moving but it would have been nice to take a pleasant walk in the area so I have marked this fro a return at some time, perhaps a work lunch break.
Many thanks to Team Ladava for the excellent cache and a great story about Australia's cricket history as well, highly recommended.
We were fortunate enough to attend the Ashes Urn Exhibition at the Melbourne Museum and selected as one of 3 that got to have their photo taken with the Ashes Urn (own camera) and able to take a few other photos of the exhibition. I might go through the pics on the computer and upload a few if I can find them

Found by Mary & David at 1100. What a great innings we had here. Like so many others, we had never seen more than that grand gatehouse. We loved viewing the mansion. We could almost taste the cucumber, imagine the servants serving tea, and see the guests in their fine period clothes. What a life for the upper classes. We had some uncertainty about the first question owing to some maintenance work underway, but took the architect's approach. Then on to the infamous WP3, where we too couldn't agree on either what was 'clear' or even what constituted the mansion. In the end, we plotted several of the possibilities on our GPS map and selected the most likely one from there. It turned out to be the right one, as we found the cache in the first place we looked on arrival. In the end, we had an absolute ball with the cache, and added another one to our overnight total. Took mondo doll, left a Dinosaur action figurine. Our thanks to Team Ladava.
We found our 3rd Team Lavada cache at 2:00pm as the 9th of 24 on our Sunbury and Beyond Tour III. We nade a mess of this one. After being unsure of whether to count the upper story balconies or the upper upper balcony, we could neither agree on the exact count at WP3. We eventually resorted to using a projected line to plot our varied answers and found the cache after about 10 miniutes. Sorry Oenze, strike those "Phone a Friends" off your list next time you're on Millionaire. Now off for a Sunbury lunch. Thanks for the cache from D & H B-A.
Find # 1997 and 10th of the last day at 5:42pm. on our way home after a longweekend caching trip to Canberra , I had just dropped Feathertop of at home and decided to give this one more try and finally after 3 visits can put this one to rest. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Team Ladava....
My second visit to GZ and I rang 3 people who told me where the cache should be but I couldnt find it, it may be gone.
The first cache we did as a family(our second total). Kids enjoyed it.

I had seen the gatekeepers lodge before, but never ventured in to see the house. Similar to many stately homes around Melbourne. A quick stop near the cricket grounds and we were off to the view. All clues collected and we found ourselves back to a familar park.

Found at 4.25pm GAFF1. A very pleasant walk along the paths. And protected from the strong winds that were about today. Thanks Team Ladava Took: screwdriver, Left: 2 golf balls.
Well, we really made a hash of this one, thankfully Master of the Dragon was watching our back on this one. Eventually got there! Thanks for the interesting tour. T: Marbles L: Figurine.
I did this one back to front but no matter. Really admired the old mansion which I had not seen before too. Only problem was uncertainty at WP3 although there were only so many options. I guessed wrong but it took only a minute or so to correct it and the cache was easily found. Thanks team Ladava for another good multi in this area. Interesting story too.

#10 of 33 finds in company with acts2youthgroup on our regular fortnightly cache assault. This time we assaulted places to the west of Melbourne. We found this one at 1130. We gathered the information at the three waypoints. We wondered a bit at WP3, but the cache description makes it pretty clear what is required (hope the tree loppers don't get involved, though). I made no exchange. Thanks to Team Ladava for the cache. Cheers, dak.
Seventh of Twenty-Two finds for the day in company with dak’s Emu Mob on one of our regular caching days, the cache was found at 11:30. I had no idea of the history of the ashes, so does this mean I have been to the hallowed site of cricket? Like others wpt3 had me scratching my head as the tree swayed in the wind I could almost get a glimpse, but you did state clearly see. Thanks Team Ladava for the history and the cache.

An enjoyable multi this morning before work. Uncle Jiffy's local cache was one of my earliest caches so it was nice to have an extension of this history visited this morning. I did wonder about the chimneys at WP3 but after plugging the values in I realised there could only be one GZ and so it proved as I walked through the reserve. Thanks Team Ladava.

Found by Roma and Max.
We called in to this very impressive building, collected the required details and proceeded to wpt 3 where we were unsure of the number of items we should count, as we could see something partially hidden by foliage that seemed to qualify.
We resolved this minor dilemma by making 2 calculations for GZ, and it became obvious as we made our final approach which one to use.
We exchanged a Mondo Figurine for a Swivel Key Ring Device.
Thanks again Team Ladava for this challenge.
