Finally down the bottom of the mountain and Shazzar66 and I needed to find these two caches down the bottom. We made quick work of finding this one. We were also very happy with the fact that there was no huge uphill or huge downhill to deal with in finding the cache, after climbing Mt Cooroora. Unfortunately, the cache containers lid is cracked and the insides are a lot worse-for-wear. The logbook is sodden and completely unusable, although we kept it with the cache container as it forms a part of the caches history. While I dried the container out as much as I could, Shazzar66 replaced log sheet and double-bagged it. She also placed the container upside down in hopes of keeping the water out a little better. Hopefully it survives a bit longer. Maybe someone can bring along a spare container at some point to help out. Thanks, Scrub Bull, for this much easier cache find at Mt Cooroora.
Looking for a full day of caching, I packed my car and headed up the coast to camp at Duppers place so we could make an early start. After we got back from the top of the mountain we headed over to this one. We were happy for the relative flat trail. Happy with a quick find here.I found your cache, Get Tanked today.Scrub Bull, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Thanks for my first find! The contents are a bit damaged by rain but good overall
Bit of bush bashing, but it is relatively easy enough. Thankfully, I had my hiking stick to help! Great hide, thanks.
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Scrub Bull [^]
Found today. Really great spot, but not a 1.5 Terrain. Very overgrown bush to get to Cache.
Also very water logged, so not able to sign. Photo for evidence of find.
Definitely needs some TLC.

Scrub Bull I found your cache Get Tanked on 16/2/2023, 12:45 pm. This is my find 4740 and find # 8 today. Arrived at GZ and it took a lot longer to find than it should of. Not where I thought it would be. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
A good hide but the cache was flooded. Unfortunately I didn't have a replacement log. TFTC
Log is completely soaked and un-loggable. Tried anyway. But it's just pulp. Good spot though. TFTC
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Bennyboppers, Misssusan79 and Lisylou). As usual we took the harder way there! TFTC!
We definitely headed in via a 5 Star terrain 'track'. Found with Mnance101 and bennyboppers!
Nice find while on my walk today introducing my partner and her father to geocaching! The cache was very wet internally due to a cracked lid and I was unable to sign the log.
Another trip up to the Sunshine Coast, found 11 traditional today. One of these caches was the main target for today, I needed it for a challenge cache.
Then I also pick up few oldies to.
I had lots of fun today.
Sorry for the generic log.

Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find after walking up the mountain Thanks for the cache
This was amusing.
On the way down the mountain i saw a path veering off and up kinda towards gz and decided to follow it.
Eventually it petered out to nothing and still i persisted. Rockhopping down a slope at this point, i startled a snake witless and it took off down the slope out of my gangly way.
At this point i realised i probably should just backtrack and take the fire trail.
At eighty metres to go it was awful tempting, but in the end reason won out and i slinked back to the wide trail where not long later i discovered a geotrail leading in not a flat forty metres from the downhill fire trail i was on.
Too easy.
I then sat at gz for ages simply because it's a nice spot in the bush.
I only learned much later the reason behind the cache name.
Thanks scrub bull for another cache.

We are staying in Eumundi with our caravan for a few days. Out and about to explore the area and caching.
we came prepared with a dry logsheet and plastic bag. Signed it, and placed it back.

Heading home on the Fat Bike after a fun filled week on Fraser Island and Rainbow Beach. Called into to Pomona to catch the train back to Brisbane and had some time to burn waiting for the train. Given I was on the bike there were a few interesting caches and tracks to explore

With the release of the new series of Adventure Lab caches this mountain became of interest to Pprime and Fangsoki. Both had done the climb before and asked if I wanted to join them for the climb. I am always up for an adventure (especially when there are old caches to be found) so I agreed.
Although both of them had found the cache here before they could not remember the details of the hides
We found a park down below (there were not many spare spots) and headed up the track. Fangsoki headed up ahead while Pprime accompanied me down the side path to get this one. Following the GPS we soon found that there was a geotrail heading in the right direction and it didn't take long to locate the cache.
Thanks for the adventure Scrub Bull

There's a hundred Scrub Bull geocaches. I have found forty-three of them. Accounting for some no longer available, I should be able to find at least sixty total. However, they're all a long drive from home and recent restrictions has ruled that out. But, when I'm in the area, I can't say no.
I was lucky today, being that one day of the year when nobody argues with what you want to do, that I got away for a climb up Mount Cooroora for the first time. It's been years on my to-do list. And I managed to complete the climb up and back in less time than expected, meaning I could grab one or two Scrub Bull geocaches on the way back to the car.
Get Tanked was first. Following the trail, I saw a track heading in the right direction so figured it might lead me right. It started as a vehicle track, then became a footpad, then it abruptly ended. Soon after that, 102 metres from the geocache, there was a cliff. I know Scrub Bull geocaches aren't always easy, but this wasn't right. I back-tracked and figured I'd follow the instructions for approach number two!
Right, aim for the tanks. I headed towards the car further, then followed a track that looked much better. I could see it did a loop and returned below me - that would be handy. Right at the apex, I was just a few metres away but had to go bush. It's very overgrown and kinda wet from rain last night. Seems about right!
Off we go, beating into the bush, following a phone app. With a few branch slaps to the face, I came across the right spot and was a happy boy to have visited another Scrub Bull geocache. Somehow I missed a photo - but everything was in good condition.
Just have to extricate myself from the undergrowth, then work out if I have enough time for another! Thanks for this geocache, Scrub Bull - another fun off-road adventure

Went back to GZ, found it this time. Didn’t have a pen to sign, will come back and sign another day. TFTC! TNLN!
Found this one after coming back down from the top. Bit of bush bashing but kept to the path and found as soon as I got to GZ. Log signed, left the pin as a swap, and replaced cache as found.

Early morning jog around the lower mountain trails with one of the kiwi team runners, he was keen to help me find a couple of geocaches, a pretty easy find here, we were a little apprehensive about bush bashing through the undergrowth here in Oz!!

A beautiful morning for a walk along the trails and a lovely old cache to find it is still a treasure even though the original container did not survive. Thanks for placing a new container. All good and log signed. TFTC
Love that’s there’s still a remnant of the original ammo tin there in memory of scrub bull. Tftc!
Original box has rusted away but otherwise a great cache. We found it with 3 young kids in tow
Almost made it up the mountain, and then injury made us turn around. Glad I could find this though. TFTC
My sweet geohubby WallabyTim was having an afternoon siesta when I "accidentally" woke him up because I wanted to get out and find a few caches. Was a wet afternoon but nice to discover the trails in the area. TFTC
Taking a short detour through the bush, I found this on the way up to Mt. Cooroora.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found with my Scouts from Tarragindi while they are on day 1 of a three day hike. Daniel spotted it just before Will. Well done guys. Thanks for the cache.
Mr Just a Trifle was out for another day of caching with ViKoCZ to pick up a few target caches to help with various challenges The first cache for the day was Serenity on the Mountain, and depending on how it went, that would determine how many other caches would be found for the day We were lucky for the rain to have had held off until after that cache was completed, but in reality, there were only just a few short sprinkles while we were driving down the highway
Thank you Scrub Bull for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Found it and also the remains of the green box was obviously Burt in the fire. Good find though
We attempted this one just after having the worst steak sandwich at the nearby Pomona Hotel!! We walked up to GZ following a rather obvious geotrail. Once at GZ we made a quick find. TNLNSL TFTC
Found today a small group of us headed out after camping out at the event. Vikocz, crookedpete Seffnjarah and Petes son soon had this cache found.

After a wet old night camping at the Dunethin Rock event, a posse, including Czech Viktor, Stairman1, SeffnJarah and my 9 year old son T.C.C-505 was formed to climb this hill. Conspicuous, by his absence, was Swellerlump, who obviously chose to stay behind and do a bit of solo Swellerbootcamp (and cook Lady Sim bacon and eggs).
Having conquered the hill, a few of us diverted to make this quick find.
Many thanks, Scrub Bull

#4155 [09:45] we made a small detour going from the summit to visit this cache and see if the tank is really here. it is still thanks for short stop.
Found it. Green box long gone with rust but the usual sistema in its place. Tftc.
Good cache although box is rusted the sistema container holding log book is goo d. Make sure you bring pen as none here.
Nice walk up to this one and found old container with cache inside. TFTC Scrub Bull
I was in this area again and when I was last here, I noticed that there were some problems with this cache. I had some items with me this time so I have place a 1 litre sistema container inside the outer container and have added a new log book and plastic bag as the original log book was damp and beginning to smell. This was left however with the original container but not in the sistema container.
We had travelled to Pomona today with a view to finding a few caches whilst a small engine was being fixed at Cooroy.
This was the fourth cache on the list.
We found a suitable spot to park the motor vehicle and commenced the hike along the walking trail only to find out that there was a parking spot not very far away. That is the way it seems to go.
We made our way to GZ and the cache was immediately spotted however it is not in a very healthy state. The ammo tin is rusted and a large hole has rusted into the side of it. The plastic bag has allowed water into the log book.
I wanted to sign the log book however it was saturated and I was concerned that if I tried to open it, the book would just fall apart. I took a photograph instead. This cache needs some serious maintenance.
Find # 352.

Our 3rd find for new years day, lots of people around enjoying a beautiful area. Thanks Scrub Bull.
This was really fun to find! It's hidden in a great spot, just into the forest
Took the kids and they helped me find it.. left a flutterbye broach. Not many swaps in there hopefully the broach starts something.
