No luck here for us today. That's one very hollow tree.
Weather was a bit crap so didn't stay too long and didn't mess with the prickles much either.

Hard cache for little shorties with short arms like us Sad Took us awhile to get the cache out as it had fallen to the back. We were determined and managed to get the container out to sign. we put a bit of rotting branch behind the cache so hopfully the next person wont have as much trouble as we did. TFTC Big Grin

Found with Mongyspeed and Houza TFTC

30-Dec-09
Took us a while to get this one. Was waaayyyyyyyyyy down in the hole and required a stick to get at, then the longest person in our group to reach it. (mr mongyspeed). As this is suppose to be an easy drive-by, we have put cache in a more suitable place. Cheers

06-Dec-09

2105. This was a quick find as we could see where to go immediately. We felt a bit obvious stopping alongside but the farmer seemed more interested in his work than in us.

The pencil needed sharpening so we left a new one.

- memo holder + lizard & keyring

Thanks
Iris & Rodney

It must be a worry what the locals think of all these "townies" in cars come down this very narrow lane - stop for five minutes and then move on. Strange people townies arn't they. Big Grin

One of a series of very enjoyable caches we found on our 10 day tour of the the South Island. Searching for caches along the way made it far more exciting than it would have been otherwise and took us to all sorts of interesting places we would not of found otherwise.
This is the first hide of this kind we found in New Zealand - it is common in the UK - so it was nice to see!
