Was fairly quiet on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Took a while to find. Surprised to see an old urban micro but hey a surprise makes it larger. Tftc
Huzzah! I first DNFd this one back in 2012 and since then have popped by from time to time as I pass through the city. Unfortunately that has been usually at night, or when things have been too muggly or too rubbishy to allow a proper search. But this time it was still light, with surprisingly few muggles about and nothing to make me wary about sticking my hand in. As it happened I managed to get my head into the right spot to eyeball the cache immediately for a nice quick find. The logbook is quite damp though, so I just wrote my initials on the top sheet rather than risk ripping it apart trying to get it fully out of the container. Anyway, TFTC!
Came to Newtown without any Cache in mind. Saw a bench and decided to look for some caches in Newtown. This one was so near by, I could almost grab it from my spot. That was quick
Tried for this one not long after it was published many years ago but the muggles beat us to it. It's taken this long to return and this afternoon the coast was clear making a nice and quick find. TFTC!

Yay! 2 for 2 today! Left a lil something for the next person to find. Thanks!! Had fun trying to find it
Nice spot. We were feeling down after not having found another cache, but our spirits were lifted after this find.
After visiting the playground C wanted to have some lunch.
On the way to it, she saw some peaceful birds.
Peaceful at first sight, because they were playing with a skull.
But for the luck of C it was still far enough from the cache.
At that location it was quiet, no muggles around.
Reading the hint made it a look, grab, write and put back.
Thanks for this one.

OCW Mrs A on a beautiful day. Plenty of muggles passing so we had to be stealthy with our looking. Took us a while but we won out in the end. Visited some geocoins. TFTC team bloopy.
Needs a little bit of repair. The magnet separated. But great little area TFTC
Took two visits with son and dog in tow. Pastizzis were delicious. We tried apple cinnamon. Tftc.
Nice easy find on a Wednesday afternoon after lunch. Not a muggle in sight. TFTC
Decided to take a little diversion on my way home from work today, through the Petersham and Newtown areas, and grab a few caches on the way. This was the 5th, and last, find for the afternoon.
After finding "Midmy's Playground #8 - What Did He Collyer?" I continued on to this one, the last for the afternoon. Parked the geomobile in Alice Street and then wandered up to GZ for a look. There were plenty of muggles parading up & down King Street, but thankfully none were on the GZ side of the "structure of interest".
After doing a bit of "touchy feely" I soon felt something interesting, and it was CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC team bloopy.

Great opportunity walkin through Newy! I noticed the logsheet is full and others have just left their own bits of paper with their details.
On the plus side the Pastizzis are amazing!

Dinner tonight in Newtown for a friend's birthday, so as well as going into the city for a bit, I arrived in the area a little early and found 4 caches beforehand.
I was hoping for another close to where I parked - to avenge a previous DNF - but recent logs suggest that it's gone missing again, so I didn't attempt it.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I've been attracted to this one for quite a while thanks to the cache name, but never been close enough when I've remembered it.
Today, it was close and I did notice, so made sure it was my last attempt before dinner.
Parked a block away (closest place) and walked in to find two muggles in the park.
Neither was really looking my way so started the search in an obvious area. Soon my fingers found the prize ,and I took it to a bench to complete signing duties.
One of the muggles had left before I went back for the replace. Easy!
I wonder if there'll be mung beans for dinner? (SPOILER: No there weren't!)

Not many muggles around so an easy find.
Cache needs a little love as logs are damp and magnet is missing

Very easy. The old guy on the bench didn't flinch so I wonder if he knew what I was doing?
Easy find signed log . Found with me cashing babe daisy4300. Theire was a hobo sleeping nearby. Left a treasure
While spending 16 months abroad, travelling through all states of Australia and also having a two months break in Thailand I did a lot of geocaching.
After many, many caches accompanied by the strong will not to write any standard logs, I ended up with more than 700 finds, all waiting for an official log. After intense considerations and carefully weighing my options, you now receive this special limited edition numbered log.
This is my unique non-standard log #160 (+1 I forgot to log in Dezember, so actually #161).
Loved the graffitti in this area!
Thanks a lot team bloopy for taking care of this cache, showing me this place and turning my travels into an adventure!
Greetings from Germany.
Keep on caching!
Theatralis ?

That’s roughly the route I travelled:
Germany – Sydney – Cairns – Cape Tribulation – Biloela – Armidale – Sydney – Canberra– Melbourne – Tasmania – Melbourne – Boinka – Adelaide – Alice Springs – Darwin – Adelaide – Melbourne – Perth – Rottnest Island – Denmark – Perth – Melbourne – Thailand – Brisbane – Sydney – Adelaide – Boinka – Melbourne – Germany
---
And finally some statistics:
Days abroad: 161
Days of geocaching: 68
Geocaches abroad: 160 (+1)
Geocache of the day: 1/2

[violet]I'm currently hitchhiking my way around the world and geocaching everywhere I go. My first stop was in Ireland where I spent a couple weeks touring the country. I then flew to London and spent a couple weeks touring the United Kingdom. From there I made my way through the tunnel and up to Amsterdam and then back down to Belgium. After that I headed for France. Then from there I headed to Portugal for a mega event that was happening. After that I headed for Denmark to attend another Mega event. I then made my way North into Sweden and then even further North to Norway. After that I proceeded to work my way back down South through Finland and then ferry hopped my way through a few of the islands to arrive back in Sweden. Next I made my way to Germany for another Mega event and then back to the Netherlands for still another mega event before heading for Luxembourg. After that the next stop along my journey was Switzerland. I then made a quick detour up to Belgium to grab a July 2000 geocache I had overlooked before making my way to Croatia passing through Austria and Slovenia along the way. After that my route took me East to Serbia and then through Romania into Moldova. I then couldn't resist going North and crossing into the Ukraine. After that I began heading South passing through Romania once again. I then passed through Bulgaria as I raced for Turkey in order to catch a flight to Australia timing it so that I could attend a mega event happening there. After that I made an extensive 2 month tour through all 8 states of Australia.
Thank you so much for placing this geocache!

This was my very first Geocache! Fairly easy. I left 20 cents in the container for the next finder.
Went to wrong corner, got chased off by crazy man. Found it in safer corner. Thanks for cache.
Ein Abendessen in Newtown, da durfte natürlich ein Cache nicht fehlen. Dank des Hints schnell gefunden. T4TC from Germany
Although the cache is out of sight and fairly secure the magnet has died and needs replacing to keep things really fixed in place.
Easy find.
Actually you're not really visible when you're at the cache and its in the shade. Greatly needed today!

A bit embarrassing that people were looking at me looking for the cache.. Thanks for the cache!
Great spot! Found on the way to work with coffee in hand. Didn't sign the log the paper was powdery and frail, names still legible so didn't want to ruin the history.
A quick find for the day. Cheers

Easy find on the way home after a night partying. Just had to wait for the guy sitting on top of the cache to move.
A nice easy find.
The contents of the cache are looking tattered and old and could do with replacing. I've put in a temporary log which is sitting on top.

There are a few nooks and crannies to search. Very good hide. Had me guessing for awhile.
Looked for this one so many times as it's very close to home. This time found it in about 30 seconds! TFTC
