I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Wonderful puzzle and so plleased to sign it off. Lis's crew and I were together for this find.
I was in the area recently with my friend. We checked up on this cache and found the area had indeed changed. There were broken bits of culvert around. I had a piece of pink/purple waterproof florist paper with me. I hid this in a punga stump at gz. I placed a piece of culvert on top so that the hint is still partly relevant. If the next finder could bring a small container or pill bottles it would be all set again.
As I found this cache last I'm happy to check it and replace the log when I'm down in 2 weeks.
Hi
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me within Three Weeks, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Regards,

Solved the puzzle, and looked on the map to see where GZ was. I wasn't sure I was right, since it was a very long way from the posted coordinates. Too far, given the rules around mystery caches.
So I checked my numbers against another source, which were right, and did the calculations three times. Yes, I was definitely in the right place.
Went to GZ, had a look around. Couldn't find any of the hint items. Lots of rubbish which appears to have originated from the nearby cemetery, but no hint items anywhere. Lots of fantails helped me search... but came up empty handed.
Since the trains don't exist anymore (the line has been electrified), and the hint items don't exist any more, I respectfully think that it's time for this one to go.

Terrible weather seemed to get worse as we arrived at GZ. Mud, leaves & compost piled up at our co-ords. After 30 mins of no luck finding the hint item & with thunder & lightning overhead we bailed on this Cache. As we were leaving one of the old girls passed by or was it a younger cousin......
My mum has just bought an apartment in Parnell. It over looks the train tracks so us country bumpkins are really enjoying the trains. I even took my kids down to stand in the alley under the trains while the trains raced over us. Great excitement. The cache was wet so I couldn't sign the log without it ripping. I took a photo as proof that I was there. Thanks for the puzzle
Up in Auckland to pick up some gear so nabbed some caches along the way
I solved this over a year ago, but haven't been nearby to pick it up. This afternoon, after a rainy-day trip to the museum with the family, I took a detour on my way home. Took a bit of finding (spotted both a broken pipe and a golf ball before the cache, and was hoping it wasn't the remnants), but got there in the end. No sign of the fallen trees from the clue though, and as others have said: pretty wet inside. Thanks!
Decided against heading down to Britomart to begin solving this puzzle. Suspected that now the Auckland train system is now electric we would not be spotting these girls around any more. Managed to track down the required info and extract the correct co-ordinates.
Morning outing collecting some solved puzzles. The ground on our walk down to the hide is very waterlogged and we soon all had wet shoes and socks. Quickly found following the hint. Cache could do with some TLC. Log saturated. Left a couple of golf balls we collected from the nearby reserve. TFTPuzzle

A rather fortuitous Trade Me purchase has brought us to Auckland, conveniently I've turned this into 2 days of caching as well
This was our first cache of the day and it wasn't looking good. A bulldozer has been through here recently but the hint and coords were so straight forward we continued to pursue. Hint items were littered about the place and eventually/thankfully we found the right one. Cheers KiwiGary, TFTC.

On a nice cool day with lots of clouds I was out this way enjoying myself. I was glad I solved this and even happier to have picked up the final. Thanks for that!
Mr beconaze had solved this one quite some time ago and it was on our list to go collect since it is a mere 1.6 km's from our house. We had just come back from a walk up Mt Wellington so we thought we would carry on to get this one. Quite a secluded spot for the cache but it was quickly retrieved signed and returned. Log is a bit damp otherwise it is fine. TFTC.
Not living in an area that trains go through I thought this might be a struggle to solve, but thankfully google was my friend and I was able to find the information I needed. Over a year after I'd made the solve I finally got around to picking it up today when Aiden29 and I were in the area. A nice easy stroll to GZ and it didn't take too long to make the find. The container was quite wet and the log book very damp but still signable.
Google was definitely my friend on this puzzle. I luckily stumbled upon a page with the required information, otherwise who knows when I'd get a chance to go train spotting.
I was out in the area with merlot58 today. After finding a nice easy way to GZ it didn't take too long to find the hiding location. Log book was wet, but we still managed to sign. Nice to take this off my solved puzzle list after being on their for so long.

I solved this one a long time ago, but just got around to retrieving it today. There were lots of possibilities to consider before I found the cache. TFTC.
Solved this puzzle a week or two ago after looking at it several times in the past without spending enough time to get to the bottom of it. Finally found what I was looking and puzzle solved which took me to somewhere completely different than expected. All quiet at GZ today and with help of hint the cache was in hand. Log was damp but still okay to sign. FP added for the puzzle. TFTC.
Had solved this some time ago, and figured I should try to sign the log before leaving the area. Made my way to GZ following my GPSr and once in the area, I was worried that things might have changed as I saw new mulch piled around. Fortunately, I used the additional hint and soon found the container, which was still snug in its hiding spot. Logbook was a bit damp - I tried to dry it out a bit. Thanks for the cache!
I was out and about with Mr 4 today picking up specific caches needed for my current geolicense This was number two for the day. I had actually solved this one a few years ago but have only just got round to picking it up. Once at GZ it was a quick find thanks to the hint and Mr 4 was stoked to find a hot wheels in there to swap! Once the cache was safely replaced we found a nearby bench to sit and have some snacks and watch the trains go by TFTC!
Last of the three puzzles I solved this morning while I was watching the baseball so decided to go out and get them all and a couple of others I had solved earlier. These days it seems the trains are mostly electric, probably not a bad thing but you'd need to patient to see them perhaps. Fortunately real life trainspotters exist and found one to spill the secrets.
Bit of a trip out to get the cache but very satisfying to get this one. Log is very damp but still able to record my visit. TFTC and the puzzle.

Today was a fairly large drive around the greater Auckland area. Usual 7am start from Rotorua to collect caches we have solved and caches we need to fill in gaps of other challenges and things in between then return back to Rotorua with Squirrel Nutcase.
3.30pm - Solved a couple of weeks ago without sighting any of the girls. Got same answer on the 3 options so knew I must be right. Good hint, cache wet and needs a new log sheet, sorry didn't have any spare to replace it with. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... These days, we are finding it increasingly necessary to head to Auckland to locate specific caches that complete the various challenges and personal goals we are working on. It takes 3+ hours to travel, then many more hours of driving between caches... and all for a smiley and another number towards the tally... Our mission today was to find high difficulty caches, old caches, and solved puzzles...
Gap solved this one from home (Rotorua), and its difficulty rating proved to be very desirable... A quick coordinate projection showed that the cache was sitting on the edge of an interesting landmark. The quickest approach seemed to be via the 'property'. We managed to avoid straying down the wrong paths and found a shady place to park. A short walk brought us to ground zone... There were a couple of pipes to check. One contained someone's naughty literature, and the other was the jackpot... A bit wet, but we got the business done. TFTP and TFTC.

Needed a D4 for the GIO Licence stage I am at and cos I love trains, thought this would do nicely. With electric trains everywhere now, thought this was gonna be quite hard but I quickly had the numbers and the co-ords calculated. Went to GZ this morning (wouldn't want to approach the GZ from the East in the dark) and struggled with the clue. Eventually ignored the fallen tree part of it and soon had the damp log in hand. Nice peaceful area. TFTC
We're on a mission today to visit train themed caches for a travel bug we picked up a while back. Unfortunately no trains passed for us to have a chance at a photo with the TB

Spotted Catherine at Britomart last week. Went to check out GZ today, but unfortunately could not find the cache.
Although I catch a train to work everyday I was beginning to think the names on the locomotives were an urban myth, but Elena came to fetch me from Britomart on Friday to bring me home. Took the dog caching today she was right pleased to meet new friends at a first time visited dog park. Bit of a challenge to locate gps was unco-operative but was found in the end. It will be a shame to see them needed no longer soon.
Found originally as part of Rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
Continue to pass Henderson and see the girls sitting there. And when I have caught a train I have checked for them, we will be the last to go electric, so for now they are our locals. Thanks again for the hide.

We found some at Henderson, so far we have seen Elena, Jo and Gwendoline. The people driving down Railside ave must have had smiles on there faces as they watched me take some pictures of the girls. The drive to GZ for the cache was a big adventure, and it was a suprise to see the railway tracks. The GPS was having a few challenges with the tree cover, but with the help of the clue we made our find. The mosquito's are numerous and hungry, beware the uncovered! Thanks for the puzzle and the hide.
Second day of a geocaching holiday "up north"
Trying to get some caches around Auckland today an especially to find some puzzle caches I didn't get around to finding while here for last years MEGA.
Soon had the container in hand and log signed - a train passed while I was there.
Thanks for the fun!

Day 5 of my trip to Auckland for the Mega event. I was chasing a few more puzzles today before heading home. So it was off to the city area first. It was now time to leave the city and head east. I parked up the road a bit and started the walk to GZ. It was a beautiful day but only 1 other soul enjoying the day. I didn't see a single trainduring my 5 day visit to Auckland but I had managed to source the necessary info from another place.

Great idea. Took a while to catch Elena just before she went behind a building.
Quick note of the Number and bingo. 808 just went past GZ as we got there.

#549 I solved this one months ago but never got around to picking it up. Today I had some time up my sleeve so I decided to nab it on my way home. Nice day to wander to GZ- good spot for the final. GPS would NOT settle and I was about to give up but as I was walking away I thought 'No! One more look!' Glad I did as it revealed itself to me and I could then go home satisfied. For now. Tempted to pop out and get a few more caches now....
This puzzle must have taken me nearly 3 months as I carefully noted train numbers each time I drove past Henderson station and their overnight/weekend "stock yard". I even had WelshGirl77 record numbers. After 2 months of numbers I still didn't have any that produced corresponding results until I picked SquishyD us from nursery and made a quick stop on our way home. Fortunately, I managed to record two new numbers which then produced a matching set of coords.
That was over a month ago and today I took the opportunity to finally grab this cache. MischiefD and I set off and took the slightly longer route to GZ, but once there the cache was quickly located.
Thanks for a simple but frustrating puzzle and TFTC. Glad to finally make this one a smilie face.

Very nice puzzle I solved a while ago. Today I had a car and off I went to find the container. TFTC
Very well themed cache, from the puzzle to the actual cache placement . It would be great to see more trains in Auckland and let's be crazy, why not on the North Shore TFTC
A lovely day for caching and a lovely hide. EB99 solved this from afar and directed me here. Nice Camo.
A train roared past as I was walking away.
Thanks for bringing me here and all the caching fun

I'd spotted one of the girls from a virtual location last year and solved this. Made a detour after church today to find the cache, which I zeroed in on straight away thanks to the hint. Just as I was leaving a train rather aptly passed nearby. A nice area. Thanks!

Loitered around the Britomart a few times when visiting the city. No luck. Then one day driving along the motorway spotted a train passing by. Noted its number (TFG) and later had an answer. In the area today so stopped in to collect. As I apporached GZ, Catherine trundled by. TFTC. Enjoyed lots of train spotting to unravel this cache.
On a one day visit to Auckland I found Elena and her number... and then had to catch a train (not Elena) to go and find a cache. Great spot. A favourite point from me.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
After stopping in the city this evening we decided that it was a bit wet to do any geocaching. We then remembered this cache, which we had bean meaning to try for a while now and decided to park in the rain somewhere near the railway lines and do a bit of train spotting. We picked a spot just behind the old railway station and began the process of noting down the engine numbers as they went past and did the calculations on the spot.
The 5th train to pass gave us possible co-ordinates, then the 7th train to pass gave us the same co-ordinates! So it didn't take us too long and we were happy that we had the right answer. Incidentally the 5th train was "Catherine" and the 7th was "The Fat Girl.

We decided that there was no time like the present and headed off to locate the final cache in the rain. We only had the iPhone, so narrowing in on GZ was a bit tricky, but we spotted some objects that fitted in with one of the hint items and we soon spotted a likely spot for the cache and sure enough it was there! Dropped off a geocoin.
Thanks for a fun little puzzle - this goes down as a favourite for us!

I would often stop by at the train station, hoping to spot one of the trains needed for this cache, but would then forget to look other times, or sometimes I would even go to the train station for other things, and possibly I even saw some of the girls, yet I didn't register as I wouldn't have been paying attention.
When yesterday I made a quick check, I suddenly had en epiphany! I had organised a scav hunt last year in Feb for first year uni students, and one of the activities had involved going to the train station - I had footage from that still on my external! So as soon as I got home, I went back, and checked over it.
Sure enough, Elena had been parked in the train terminal while we had been there!! But I had been so busy organising everyone, and marking them etc, that it had taken me over a year and a half to notice that there she had been all along! Grr!! Lol. But at least I noticed eventually!
So detoured over today after church to make the find that was pretty quick. I did almost slip over in the mud so many times though! Great final spot though!

The girls have all taken me either to/from Britomart on many occasions. I solved this some time back, but today was my first opportunity to see if I had the correct answer
This has been on my solved but not found yet list for a very very long time. Found myself passing by the area today so it was time to make the find. After a short but very pleasant stroll, I was at GZ and the cache was quickly found. Managed to snap a photo through the greenery as a train went past as well! TFTC!!!
What can i say Alan Wickens is a friend of mine and someone more train-mad would be hard to find! t4tc
This has been on the girls "to do list" for so long and one of the trains was finally spotted. Was visiting sister dear and today was the day to finally complete the formalities. Very happy to get this signed off and a great place for the final. Many thanks for this cache and a favourite due to the amount of time we been train spotting.
Well, this one was abit of an effort to solve! I had spent a few Saturday mornings down at the Papakura Station spotting trains in the hope that the data i was getting was going to be correct. I managed to spot Elena last Saturday morning. By process of elimination, the necessary calculations put me in a very likely spot. The rain had eased after work this evening so decided i'd head out and grab this cache. Quick find at GZ in a very fitting spot! A train rolled by as i was signing the log. I got eaten alive by mozzies though! Thanks for amost enjoyable puzzle. Im not much of a train enthusiast but really enjoyed gathering the data. TFTPC!
I solved this one about six months ago. Finding the right train wasn't too hard; all I had to do was hang out at the Britomart for a little bit. I'm not a train aficionado but it is still cool to see them in action. With the necessary calculations performed I came up with a very likely location and then they sat in my solved puzzles folder.
I don't get out to this area very often but with solved puzzles stacking up and a trip to Martha's Backyard I couldn't resist making a detour on the way home. It was a pleasant walk to GZ and a quick find, though I was mobbed by mosquitos while signing it off. TFTC!

This one took some solving! The intensive decrypting process I engaged consisted of visiting Sylvia Park and just happening to be in the carpark as a train rolled by. Though it wasn't until this last, most recent sighting, that I was able to get the numbers to work. Popped out to grab it this evening just on dark. A nice stroll to get to GZ. Strapped on a headlight and soon uncovered the cache. Though the light attracted bugs something fierce. Cache is still on the wet sign--logbook remains dry. Cheers for the puzzle!
Solved the puzzle by elimination after spending many hours looking at photos of the girls and watching passing trains but still not managing to link the identifiers.
Cache found in fading light - container is very very very wet inside - luckily logbook not to bad at this stage - but a visit would be a good thing

Woohoo! Found it! Have been keeping an eye out for this one since Apr 09 and visited the station haldf a dozen times to no avail. Popped down at midday today and was lucky enough to see Elena nicely parked up and ready to leave in a couple of minutes. Carefully wrote down the numbers and completed the calculations after work. Yep, looked like as lilely spot so off to GZ to complete the 'paperwork'. This one had been on my 'must do' list for a while as it inspied me to place a similar type cache at home in Wellington based on buses, which in turn have led to a series of more 'fun' caches based around the same theme. Great to have this one finally smiling back at me! TFTC
Checked out the cache, and it was in the location as before. The cache was pretty damp, so replaced with a new small cache. Have changed the hint as well to make it easier to find.
Thanks for everyone that has visited so far...

Will go and check this cache out this weekend. I will see if I can remove the fallen trees.
With permission of the owner we're logging a find as it seems the autumn pruning has in fact covered GZ! Thanks for the speedy check Kiwigary. Another puzzle ticked off!
Will disable this one until I can get out and have a look at GZ, thanks to team fuzzynz for the heads up.
Spent a lovely sunny afternoon at the Parnell Baths a few weeks ago with the junior cachers and while they frolicked in the water, I studiously recorded every diesel engine that came our way! Some of the numbers worked out so today was the day to head to GZ but alas! the area has been turned into a dumping ground for the autumn pruning and the whole area is under an 8 ft garden waste area . Pretty sure we've got it right as we had bumped into sp8sm8 nearby who confirmed we were in the right area.
Looks like it may need a maintenance check. KiwiGary, I'm emailing you photos shortly.

What a great idea for a cache. I had some trouble finding the girls on my first few trips to Britomart, but a friendly train driver pointed me in the right direction. He said that the 'girls' are actually named after women who were on the council which is interesting to know.
I spotted nine trains including "Gwendeline" before seeing Catherine at Britomart last Sunday afternoon. Then I saw her again a few hours later heading back to Britomart on the Southern line!
Got a chance today to go to the final. Even caught the train there
Luckily I had on "tropical strength" insect repellent so the mozzies weren't a problem.
I'm still on the lookout for Elena and TFG though…
The logbook is a bit wet, but still usable.
Thanks for the enjoyable cache!

Found a big train but no name apparent so rather stumped but thanks for bringing us to this wonderful spot
Visited Britomart late one night but did not spot any of the Girls. Solved the puzzle a few days later when we spotted Elena. Today was the first opportunity we had to make the find. No problem locating the cache. Thanks for a fun and different puzzle - our 140 th puzzle cache .

This has been a while in the making. Got to GZ and hunted around for a while but got there in the end as a large train went steaming by. Log book very damp but still able to log. TFTC
Took the family away for an action packed 3 days in Auckland. If I'd suggested we were going train spotting I'd perhaps end up quite near to the cache final location. So, I approached this puzzle from a very different view point.
Incidentally, BEDMAS is used correctly, but most of you will figure out that individual points are required so use the 'B's as a guide. For those expecting a CBD find you'll need time for a 12-15km walk!
Enjoyed every aspect of this cache including walking past on the way to see Greed Day at the nearby arena where we saw a few locos too.

My office looks out over the train tracks and I was secretly jotting down the loco numbers as they passed each day before I realised I needed a closer look to get the required information. Eventually a chance encounter occurred while I happened to be hanging around the railway station and I had what I needed.
Good hiding spot for the cache too - Thanks for the puzzle and fitting find for #800

what a mission this has been but we're both more aware & more impressed by Auckland trains. I bike along Tamaki Dr to the CBD & back most week days & have been leaping off my bike & grabbing pen & paper every time I hear a train. I finally took your advice & went to Britomart at 8:30am & sure enough got a positive sighting of Catherine. I had previously found TFG by waiting above the tracks by the Vector Arena & had found 2 possible Cath's but dismissed all 3 as giving a GZ that was too far away. GZ was also a mission & much rot & many mosquitos made it less than pleasant - a very difficult find but we've put it back in a slightly more accessible place that won't be easier to stumble on but should be easier for cachers; hint & co-ords identical. It was good fun & educational - counted 18 engines - had no idea there were so many. TFTC but not the mossie bites...
Was in the CBD for an inspection and spotted Elena.
Did the calculations and on to the final.
Nice cache. Spotted some of the others on my way to GZ.
Took TB.

Spotted Elena today while in the area, but we were only on foot. So the final will have to wait.

Are the trains still valid on this cache? I have attempted it three times to no avail. However I noticed many of the locomotives have had recent new paint jobs.
#539. What a smart train station at Britomart, where one of the girls was spotted. The staff at the station must be used to train spotters, and corrected me when I asked to see the big engines. "They are locomotives" I was told. Nice hide at final.

This cache hasn’t been visited for over four months, so time to do a quick maintenance check. Cache is doing fine in its hide. The camo is starting to peel, so I better go and make a new cache. Thanks to all visitors so far.
I visted the train station this morning. Very flash.
Catherine was there, so I took note of her number.
I hadn't looked at the cache description fsince I first read it a few months ago and I had forgotten that you only needed to find one of the 3 trains. So I didn't realise that I had enough information to work out the final coordinates until I looked at the cache description again when I got home.
I guess that means I will have to visit Auckland again sometime.

Soved this puzzle ages ago but have just managed to get to it today. I love train spotting.
Great camo and hiding place. Nearly stood on the container.
Cheers for the cache.

Ah bless Elena. She was there on my first try! So when Bobo and I were in the area, he let me come too.
Finally got around to picking up this cache, Saw TFG and Elenor on two different occasions.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Solved this a few months ago, got to Auckland and realized I had forgotten the coords.
Anyway Elena was conveniently parked and we solved the clue and were on our way.

First time at the Britomart Train Station...not at all what I had envisioned. Conveniently Elena had arrived & was stationary long enough to solve the puzzle. On with the journey wondering if Pooke's GPS had malfunctioned when arriving at the 'final desination'. Then it all made sense...well as much sense as geocaching makes! Thanks for setting up this ejoyable cache.
#4 for the day, After having solved this several months ago we finally made the trip to the final location, Quickly found once there and a train happened to go past just as we were looking.
Was suffering geocache withdrawls with all the bad weather, so decided to do some trainspotting. Used a location thats nearby, not a station but a road crossing where there are many trains passing. A few went by then Gwendoline turned up but was unhelpful. Just my luck a fat girl turned up who led me to a secret location in the bushes . Didn't realise was near the railway line until a train cruised past whilst I was signing the log. Neat! didn't know this spot existed, how nice it is, thanks for bringing me here. Cheers Gary

Saw 3 trains with big numbers on them but no names, and was starting to wonder if the name was some trainspotting insider thing. Luckily Elena disproved that theory. GPS autorouted us right to the doggy picture and then it was a quick find. TFTC.
Finally! Figured i would manage to spot one of the girls at my local station as I walk past twice a week and it usually coincides with a train arriving.
Every time I saw one it was nearly always Gwendoline, or one not named in this cache. Finally on Thursday Catherine was spotted, followed two minutes later Elena.
Far less problems in finding the cache.

Had a spare afternoon in downtown Auckland and it took three visits to the train station to sight one of the "large girls". Had to wait a week later to complete and visit the final location. Pleased to report that the container and contents are fine. A couple of trains went by while searching - most appropriate. In card holder, out car. This was a fun exercise thanks! Recommended.
Cache replaced with new logbook and larger size container.
Thanks to everyone that reported the wetness issues, the cache sure was wet. I think I will have to stop using these containers. Please note new hint . Game Back on...
Checked PaperLog with Weblogs - All OK

The cache needs some maintenance, so I will disable it until I can replace the container.
Took us a while to spot one of the girls. Finally managed to grab a glimpse of Elena, but enough to put us on the right track. Probably came at the cache from the wrong direction but managed to locate it swiftly enough. Cache was a little waterlogged so we emptied it out and dried it all up. Logbook still nice and dry in its bag.

Had to wait around a bit but eventually spotted Catherine at Britomart. Never been here before so this was a rather interesting visit for me.
Did the sums and off to look for the cache itself, no problem finding it, a rather pleasant place too.
Great idea for a cache, enjoyed this one thank you.

Well, I have had no luck with this cache and it's former existence... I found the previous cache (site) just hours after KiwiGary removed the actual cache. I could see where it had been, but no cache.
The previous train that I used is now not in this cache. Consequently I have been train spotting lots and lots of other trains for weeks now. Finally found Catherine in residence at Britomart. Yay!!
I think that I must have come in from the wrong direction as a had to bush crash a bit. Saw the other route in later.
Cache is a bit wet.
Thanks for the cache!

Well finally knocked this one off, even had the pleasure of one of the girls going past. TFTC
Saw the number whiz past as I was waiting at the Portage Rd crossing in New Lynn, but couldn't quite make out 'who' it was. Playing with the equations there were two possibilities, but one was certainly more likely.
Water in the cache but the sealed bag worked well against it.

#715. A suit-able start yesterday and a suit-able finish tonight at 7:20pm.
Took Kiwi Gary's advice, got up early and arrived at Britomart at 8:25am to find one of the girls in residence (TFG). At last.. I can feel a coffee coming on! Chance to do the calculations.
24 hours later....
Twice today I'd attempted the cache at the Art Gallery and been thwarted by muggles. It's now 6:30pm and my cache-a-day sequence (27) is at serious risk. Do I go home to North Shore and return later or try one of several Eastern caches I have the coords for.
Let's try to finish Train Spotting...
Basically I got lost in the Eastern Subs and only eventually found a park place at 7:00pm. Dark and still wearing my suit I ventured forth with torch and e-trex. Found GZ and searched and searched. B****R I'm going to have to give up. Returned to car, read clue and said "I know where that is" .. walked back ...and I did know where it was! Phew.
I tell you this cache a day is both a millstone and exhilarating at the same time. TFTC.
P.S. Cache is wet. Log sheet is damp and pencil is almost ineffective.

Thanks,

One of the best times to spot the girls is in the morning, say around 8:30am. I often see them all here drinking coffee at the above location.
Been there 4 times at lunchtime but no sign of these particular locos. Is there a better time of day?
