Bit pushed for time , had a look but GPS was all over the place. to many likely spots to hide it. went and found other cache nearby .thanks for the hunt.
Was with Spy3 on this one. had found cache previously but on this visit was not there.
Needs a replacement or archiving.
Needs a replacement or archiving.
Called here today to find this one No success looked for 30 minutes. explored around all the likely spots, like the previous loggers, sure its floated away as the ground all around the co-ords has been washed clean by last floods.
Was heading towards sunset and we didn't have extra lighting available so was quite dark under the trees. Also the GPS was struggling to find a signal. Saw plenty of likely hiding spots but alas, no cache was found. Great location none-the-less.
Umm i looked and looked for this one.
I am thinking that its floated away with the recent flood maybe.
you might want to check
otherwise i just couldnt find it.

Stopped off and went for a lovely walk in the forest, The buttress roots on the trees are very impressive. Found the cache at about the same time as the mossies found me. Left a dog (not real). Signing log was an interesting experience - write a word, slap a mossie, write a word, slap two mossies, write a word, slap three mossies. Forget a long log, write TFTC and get out of there!! TFTC
I'm not DNFing this one because we didn't have time to have a proper look. When we realised the number of possible hidey holes for this one we decided to keep walking to Rest Stop 2. We will return one day when we have more time.
Or will we? 5 minutes up the road I discovered a blood sucking leech attached between my toes. Now, for most people that's no big deal. But when you have a leech phobia - IT'S A VERY BIG DEAL. Especially when geohubby says for the next 10 minutes that there's nowhere safe to stop. He did eventually stop and remove - wait for it - not one, but TWO leeches sucking between the same toes. It's going to take a very brave woman (or a very long dry seasaon) before I enter that beautiful forest again!
Thanks for bringing us here. Really. It's a beautiful part of the world that should not be missed.

My second attempt at this one, found out from previous finders I was in the right spot just had to look a bit harder. Must have been lucky as I found it almost straight away. Now why didn't I do that last time? TFTC.
We were stopping to try and calm the hysterical baby and went on this delightful little walk. The cicadas were so very loud and the baby was mesmerised. We couldn't keep going for number 2 although hopefully another time as it was lovely down here. TNLN. TFTC.
Found it, had a bit of an encounter with a brown snake one of the kids stepped on it. Luckily the snake must have been too busy on its way as it just kept on moving by. Which was a good think for me as it wasn't one of my children but a child that had a sleep over, which would have been hard to explain to her mum!!!
Love the trees.
Love the trees.
Found the right side and then the cache. Left Kentucky Geocoin. Thanks for the hunt.
Even my geodad who lives down the road didn't know this was here. Great place. Mozzies gallor though. Found with a bit of looking in the obvious place.
Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. Found on Xmas day on my way to Moroochydore for Xmas lunch. A bit of wandering around before finding it. TFTC
My second visit to the area. Last time I visited the cache was MIA. Today was a different story. Nice easy find.
I note the mossies are still as fierce as every. Geeeesh the place was thick with them today.
Signed the log and got out as fast as possible.
Cache dry and in good condition
Thanks

A little late logging this. Great hide.
Left City Hopper travel bug.
Apparently a dead body was found near here several weeks later. Hopefully not a geocacher!!

Mrs Agogo needed her friends to locate this one as GPS was not much help. Nice hide and true to clue. Left NZ keyring, Took striped frog

Cache was in hand after a short search at 1:28pm.

Quite a few muggles parked and resting but still beautiful and quiet on tracks. Marvolous trees, lets hope they are here for many years to come!
Just amazing. we thought we were in New Guinea! I hope this piece of nature remains for all who rest there and visit. 7th for day with Dannza. Took star fish and left green grub. TFTC
Nice bush walk, some very interesting trees I hadnt seen before, and a nice big container. Grabbed a photo, Thank you for the cache Scrub Bull.
Cheers!
Cheers!
Some rather impressive trees in here, I was quite surprised. Found this one with TheWonderstuff.

Was a bit worried that we might get carried off by the mozzies in this damp dark environment just on sunset but luckily the cold kept them away. A fantastic track thru a beautiful area. Many people were stopped for the night and we couldn't help but wonder if there were any cachers amongst them. GPS had a bit of a coniption under the canopy but she still got us to the treasure. TFTH
Easy find with GPS playing the right game. Dropped in a geocoin and signed the log. Enjoyed the short walk in a pituresque atmosphere, expected to run into a cassowary as it reminded me of parts further north. TFTC.
Quite amazing trees these ones. Took us a few minutes of rooting around to find it and I thought for a while that it may have washed away as there was some eveidence of lots of water running past here recently. Not so we found and all is done.
This was our last in the area before we bagen to head south again. Thanks to the Sunshine coast, Gold Cost and Brisbane for lots of good caches and a great week.

Twenty first for the day and cache two hundred and fifty on day nine of our Brisvegas trip, the cache was found at 1530 in the company of chewinprickles. We were running out of time as we had to be back at Caboolture for a party so we only did 1, i was amazed at the size of the roots on these tress. Thanks Scrub Bull for the cache and showing us this location.
Tricky with the tree readings but great fun anyway - FOund Reverend Bishop White TB - very unexpected

Its DARK in there, even at 3pm, but with rain and heavy cloud. A quick find, TFTC.
Found on a nice walk thru the rain forest. Met another cacher at GZ. Took GC and left a TB. TFTC
Found at 13:30 What a great place and no muggles to be seen. Left original Stash geocoin and took bottle opener. Thank you for taking us here.
Rated: for Overall Experience
Decided to give this one a go, even though it was a bit of a detour on our way North. Turned out to be a great stop and lovely walk. Lots of mozzies around.

Found by Sunshine Toledo at 9:22am. The mozzies just about carried me away. The GPSr had lots of trouble under all the trees but the hint certainly helped. TNLNSL TFTC
Walking through here is like stepping back in time. We loved the short walk to GZ. The GPS wasn't much use, but the tree was spectacular!
We found the cache quickly, but the mozzies found us even quicker. A quick sign of the log and we ran back to the car.
Thanks for the cache!

GPS not a lot of use in this one! However, we did find it before being carried away by mosquitos!

This was a lot easier than the last time I searched for it. I suspect it wasn’t even there last time. Good thing I had the aeroguard and a torch as it gets dark in there pretty quick. TN/LN/SL and felt pretty smug about finding it this time.
Another early morning drive up the highway heading for the so called 'Sunshine Coast' in the rain
Ah looky, a rest stop
I left the GPS in the car as of course it would be no use in the rainforest
A bit of a poke around in a now familiar location and the distinctive sound of a cache being hit with a stick was soon heard
Once again a lovely stroll by the river. TFTC.

We've driven past this rest spot many times on our way to Caloundra but we decided to stop today once we found out that it contains 2 caches.
Took : Sticky Tape, Water pistol and bike chain.

A very pleasant surprise - I was expecting a parking bay! Thanks for the cache Scrub Bull.
Found at 0714 before attending a training course for the day after a bit of a bit of a search as the suggested using the GPS was difficult because of the tree cover.
Good hide.
Good hide.
It is the queen of sands birthday today and she wanted to go caching so like a good husband off we went. Geo wife was staight on to this one TNLN.
Wish I had read the previous logs a little closer and noting that it had moved slightly. Will check again next time I'm in the area.
In with scouts on this one. This cache put the wind up me but finally can cross it off.

after previous attempts to find this sucker, and with scrubby down south shooting arrows and cacheing a new cache is now in place,it is a little higher in the roots as it seems the water runs thru the old spot.

You can add Mrs Bent and I to the list of DNFs. Had a good look for 15min but didn't have a lot of hope with the number of DNFs from experienced cachers on this one recently.
Heading north today I couldn't drive past the rest stop at the northern end of 'the Big Yawn' [|)]
It is a really pleasant stroll around this patch of rainforest in the cool of the early morning. The cat birds were mewing loudly this morning somewhere in amongst all the greenery
I had a token poke around with a stick to unearth the cache, but I think I've searched most of the area already

Joined Cooroy Scouts to search for this one.
After 20+ minutes of scratching around and being drained by the local mossies it was time to call it a day.
MIA perhaps
Cant thank you for the cache...but that Scrub Bull for an introduction to the area. Some great trees in here
A quick visit and a quick look today. But there was muggle activity. Someone just wandering around and showing no signs of intending to go anywhere else soon
Time for a rest. Not at this smelly rest stop. The nearby rainforest was much nicer though
Never realised these trails were here till today. Very nice area for a stroll
From careful reading of the notes and a good GPS fix I reckon I was in the right spot. But in this jungle it was impossible to locate the cache without digging up the whole area [:o]
An hour of digging up the area later, no cache
Ah well there's always number 2

Did this one at the same time as Rest Stop 2. Loved this walk, but got disturb by the same muggle twice - only so many times you can go wow look at the size of that, while trying not to look suspicious. Thanks for taking us to this place.
1635hrs. Another new area for us. Have driven past here many times but never knew there were tracks in there.
Took DUE TB

Who would I meet at GZ? Two Czech geocachers! Nice meeting you, Jumbo & Slonik! Thanks to Just a Trifle's log, it didn't take that long to find the cache. Left TB. TFTC
Absolutely no GPS coverage for my etrex at GZ.
I worked on a hunch and Just a Trifle's log to take a peek at what was the correct spot. TFTC.

Great little rest stop area. Why is it that whenever we have a main track or a minor track to choose, we usually take the main one only to find the minor one would have been better? So, to minimise your impact on the area, please take the first track on your left after you pass the stone gateposts at the carpark. This will put you on the correct side and should help minimise your impact on the area. We got the FTF on this one too! TFTC
