Beautiful villages that are preserving their history, wonderful to see. Thanks for the cache
What indeed.. that magnet is so strong I wasn't game to get between it and the metal. MrG would have loved this place on 24th March. TFTC Freddo, the logbook is dry now, all good with the cache.
Found while out grabbinganother nearby with Loopy1972. Thank you Freddo and Thomas for the cache.
Yes, what is it? However the sign says March 24, 2024 for your next catchup. TFTC Freddo and Thomas.
We are off on a trip to the Birdsville Races and then across to Queensland - the plan is for about 6 weeks of travel - all going well.
Week 1 we have travelled from Portland to Farrell's Flat near Clare.
Day 10
We had intended to stay another day in Spalding and do some more of the channel caches but the weather was nasty and the wind bitter so we packed up and headed for Melrose instead. We had a bit of a tour around Boolero Centre along the way. Lots going on here today but nothing to get in our way.
Thanks for contributing to our holiday Freddo

Tried to do a quick in and out before being spotted by muggles but got caught in the end, luckily by fellow cachers. Interesting sculpture.
Found during a caching trip to SA's mid north staying at Orroroo for two nights and Jamestown for the last night. Found after a short search. Thanks for the cache Freddo and Thomas!
Another Freddo cache. Took me longer than it should. After we tried to find somewhere for coffee and cake but none nearby so pushed on to Jamestown. Tftc.
A quicker than expected find.

Surprised with a quick find. Memories of steam and traction days many years ago. Tftc
Any cache on a piece of machinery can cause problems and I have battled nanos on tractors and guns. Fortunately this is not a nano and this piece of machinery is not too complex. It did not take too long to locate the little devil.
10421 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1250. On our way through Bulleroo Centre headed to Peterborough Now that magnet is a good one. SL Tnx Freddo and Thomas
Trip to the Mid North with the geo-pup. Day 4, Wirrabra to Orroroo.

TFTC SL Have attended a steam and traction day years ago. Very interesting. Found while exploring the Laura area. Thanks for bringing us here.
Geo hunting on a warm day, with the D/Fox , good riding, 200ks and 100% success. TNLNSL Thanks.
This weekend, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to Melrose for mountain biking the trails with a few non-geocaching friends. We ended up hiking up to Mount Remarkable on Sunday, and on Monday, we returned to home via Booleroo Centre, Jamestown, and Clare. The weekend had some rain drizzle and crisp mornings, but otherwise good weather for fitness.
Today, we had a morning Melrose mountain biking session, before starting to drive back to Adelaide. We had some time to fill, so ended up taking the long route via Booleroo Centre, Hornsdale, and Jamestown, to then arrive at Clare for an afternoon tea/coffee event. It was then an expedited drive via Gawler.
This took a few minutes to find this cache, hidden nicely with a very strong magnet indeed! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@Freddo](http://coord.info/PR8C14) and Thomas for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Had a bit of a wander around the structure twice lol [B)] and eventually spotted it... removing it was harder than spotting it ha ha Very careful replacement too

Took Mogni for a trip to the Flinders Rangers for the long weekend with extra day either side. The target for the trip was to clear some of the " used to be a church " micro series on the way up and on the back as well, complete a couple of station tracks plus hike to Blinman Pools. We where not expecting a couple of 34 degree days then a 30 km wind dust storm followed by rain over night and then the wilpenda pound walls covered in fog for the next 1/2 a day. It did change our plans a little and the order we did things. All containers we found damaged, broken, cracked were replaced and were possible ( if not soaked ) original log books were kept. Any log books found full were replaced or if room had extra scrolls added in to the cache.
A long weekend away with sir_spectre in the Flinders Ranges. We had each been here before and strangely had few double ups so some revisiting was in order to try to get our maps similar. The weather threw everything at us but we just made our plans suit the conditions. Lots of 4WD and walks included.
Thanks to Freddo from mogni

After clearing away spider webs with a stick, and upsetting a black spider, I made my husband retrieve the container! TFTC
Found quite easily... but had difficulties wrangling the cache to be accessible. Tftc.
Can't be many places for this to hide, so we had it in hand rather quickly.

After a lovely night at the camp site (great facilities for tent campers) but a crap game of footy (if you are a Pies fan) it was up and ready for a day of caching in the Orroroo surrounds.
We travelled all over the countryside and had a fantastic day. We did an epic multi, visited lots of abandoned structures with heaps of history, saw lots of Orroroo masters games venues and called in at the pub in Pekina for a beer. Great day of country fun, punctuated with some super finds. Love a good day of SA country caching.
It started off very cold this morning with low lying clouds meaning we were in fog for the first couple of hours. Once this burnt off it was a superb winters day, sunny and warm. We saw lots of sheep, roos, wallabies, goats and an echidna which was cool. Rex had a brilliant day and was absolutely shattered by the time we got back to the campsite.
Footy was on so parked nearby, hopped the gate and quickly found the cache. Nobody took a blind bit of notice. Then we went back into town and had a picnic lunch. The busiest place in this town after the footy is the ANZ ATM. A zillion folk at the football today. Nice hide TFTC Freddo and Thomas

Passing through the area while working in the mid north and was passing through and it was time for a break from driving so called in to take a break and make the find. Pulled in, parked next to GZ, started the search and found the cache in the last place I looked. Extracted the log, signed and replaced.
