We've been here on November, 30th, and found the container lying on the ground. We were pretty sure that it was not supposed to be like this and tried to fix it more securely. At least we were not the last one to find it. I would be sorry if this cache will not be fixed, I think the location is great. And we liked the birds, too!
Thanks for the cache!

As lemonCurd already wrote, the cache was not so well hidden in the BIG. We replaced it better. Afterwards we had a look at the birds who seemed to be happy to see us .
Unfortunately, this was our last day in NZ - and this was our last cache for today. We were supposed to fly back to Germany the next day - what we also did... It was not easy at all to leave this wonderful country.
TFTC #709 (my 167th cache with lemonCurd in New Zealand ).
Many greetings from Hamburg, Germany.

Found by YuGeo4, First cache for the day arrived at GZ and was messing around in my bag and YuGeo4 came up trumps before I realised what was happening. A very cool and scary spot for a cache. TFTC TNLNSL (1426)

I took great delight in the fact that this one was found by Ms Burlis who just happens to think Geocaching is stupid. Usually she is found sitting in the car or wandering ahead while I search GZ. Maybe the excitement of the find will spur her on to search more often....but I'm not holding my breath! TFTC.
A quick walk through the park after lunch led us here for a quick look at the birds and a slightly longer search for the cache that we eventually came up with. Good hide in an interesting spot. TFTC
After a lunch break and helping local mugglets out on the flying fox went off to find this one.great hide, lovely park.TFTC
Found with some difficulty. GPS was a bit wayward so had to resort to the clues. TNLN. TFTH.
Good hide. Lovely to sit and write up log in late afternoon, but still very warm, sun. TFTC
Found at around 15:50, on my way to the ski slopes down south. I come from Ashburton, only a different one over in Victoria. As such, doinhg a cache in Ashburton, New Zealand had to be done, especially as I was driving through. Not least to mention that doing one in such a delightful sport in the Ashburton Domain added greatly to the experience. I especially liked that giant tree. A few muggles around though I had to quickly retrieve and return the cache when no one was looking. Also being from Ashburton, Victoria has caused some confusion, with the lady from the car rental shop thinking I had moved to New Zealand (I recently moved and there is a sticker on my license). So thanks for bringing me to such a nice spot that I may have driven past otherwise.
So many people about! Had to pretend to be relaxing on the grass by aviary for about ten mins until the "Coast was Clear". Great hiding place. TFTC.
This was well worth a visit. Enjoyed looking around the aviaries and was most impressed with the hide.
Many thanks

Stopped to let toddler Mackenzie out for a run around on the journey home to Christchurch from Naseby. She absolutely loved the birds. Found the cache fairly quickly. TNLN Thanks
Found with Mogni during our 8 days of caching and touring around the South Island of New Zealand.
A nice and easy find... an excellent hiding spot... we loved it! No parrots around today...

GZ and the cache name put me in the wrong place, but re-reading the cache page quickly got me back on track. nearly gave up when the though "well, a container that size could ONLY be there then" went through my mind, and sure enough, there it was! TFTC.
The Mr and I were creeping past the aviary when a friendly cockatoo chirped up with a 'hello'. Not expecting to be muggled by a bird I jumped about a foot in the air! TFTC
What a good hide.... Butterfly had her hands on it, only after fully circling the hide. Doggy muggle nearby not at all interested in us. Thanks
Virtual flyby to drop rchdlyns two Geocoins back home. Thanks for the company and we all enjoyed the Zero-G experience!
A nice location and impressive item right at gz. A circuit soon had the neatly hidden cache and it was off to see the birds, most of which I recognised including a couple of blue african parrots.
Quick fly-by with two of rchdlyns coins to take to USA zero-g experience with me!
Took a little while to find this even though I guessed early on how it was hidden.... very nice hide - well done!... TNLN thanks!
Took a while to find. GZ seemed to be off, but the clue eventually had WoolfieNZ and I locating this cache. Very cunning hide.
Added a wee purple heart shaped clip.

Really liked the hide on this one, I had been to the Aviary before and it really is a great feature in the park.
Think I added something small to the cache, but can't remember what
Thanks for a good and interesting cache

#579 (17/24 on a Waitangi Day excursion to Ashburton). Found pretty quickly. Nice spot on a hot day. TFTC.
Luckily StreetWalkerNZ found this quickly as GPS was pointing 10m away. Very good hide indeed.

Needed two goes at this one. 1st attempt had me in a nearby "really big" structure. 2nd attempt had me closer, but none the wiser. A few elimination laps around the cache site eventually got me there. Neat hide and yes - best not to look up with mouth open.
After dinner we had some energy left and make a nice walk into town. What a nice place with all the birds. The cache was a little bit hard to get, but eventually we found it. TFTC!

Very hot today and this trip is taking a long time with all the caching stops on the way to Oamaru. Very good hiding spot. In keyring "Out of control"
I like the title very clever.
Mrs found this one , i was looking in the right place but she just bet me to it.
very clever hide i thought.

We really enjoyed the walk around the park with everybody out for some fresh air. Managed to avoid the bird action above us.

We had an hour left before our friends Don Keyotee and us departed in different directions after a geocaching weekend,so we did a 60 minute Geocache raid on Ashburton and found 10 in 60 minutes.
Finally, after 4 visits, managed to find this one -certainly a cunning hidey hole. TFTC
A nice wee spot to hide a cache. Loved the peacocks even though they freaked out the Little Explorers. TFTC.
Found after a short search, and while trying to act as un-suspicious as possible - there were plenty of muggles around. A very cunning hide really had me wondering for a while. SL. Thanks to k1ngb0bby for the cache and the walk in the park.
Found late at night on the way home. Pretty spooky (and quiet) in the dark. Nice hide! -Coin. Thanks.
Didn't receive any good luck deposits, fortunately. However, this one took longer than it should have to find, perhaps as a result!! Nice cache TFTC
Great hiding place, I hope it isn't about to be demolished as there are ominous paint markings on it...! I got a good luck deposit from above. Left a reflector. Wonderful playground nearby too.
Took about 1 1/2 revolutions, birds very noisey today, think they may have been cold.

Scrunched through the snow - the cockatoo called "hello" as we passed. Did one circuit around the 'object' and quickly spotted the spot! Cockatoo wouldn't talk to us on our way back out through, but did claw and beak his way from the back of his/her cage to look at us.

Definitely needed the clue for this - GPS had us well off course. Like the hide! Tried others nearby but too many muggles about so this was the only one today. TFTC TNLNSL
We were 9m off this one. We needed the clue and that helped a lot. But the hide was still tricky. Took a little while. Cute name for the cache. TFTC

Some maintenance done tonight - i see it has migrated a bit so returned it to its home (and cleaned it up)
Whew, I had a lucky escape here. Cachers attempting this cache should either wear a hard hat or an umbrella to deflect soft bombs falling from above.
#1210 Found this just before it got dark. No muggles around, just birds! Easy find. TNLN DS8300
A quick find, as there were some muggles about. Cache wasn't quite in the place I thought it would be. Cheers Gav [1834]
Not sure how the cache name relates. ? Took a little bit to find it as my GPS wanted me to commune with the birds directly! TFTC!
Cheers,

Nice location for a break on way to Timaru. Found with a bit of perseverance. Thanks
Foudn this cache on a VERY hot Saturday afternoon. Geokiddies decided the peacock must be king of the bird because it has a crown and a long tail.
Easy find, cache in good condition.
No sign of the TB.

Caching from the States without aid of all the clues, just coordinates and title hints. Our GPS bounced us in quite a wide radius. Searched by birds and bowlers? Maybe next time. Really liked the park though. Wouldn't have seen it without your cache to have us stop. Thanks!
Dropped in to see the Fazanten geocoin that is listed as being in this cache (I have always wanted to see one of these awesome coins) but alas it is not here... What was here was even better - a Creepy Crawly Cachers Geocoin!!! Found on Halloween! Awesome. Thanks CCC!!!

Are leaving something, just for you.
Is it a trick, or is it a treat?
Maybe a coin that you seek.
