Wow what a historical journey this was. We really enjoyed searching in the museum for all the answers back in July 2022.We were passing by today and with no muggles around, finally able to add this to our found list. Thanks Long John Silva for keeping this special cache up to date. FP awarded.
At last... the building works have finished and the Historical Society are back into the swing of things... the Museum is open again! Some of the displays had been changed and so some questions have been changed too.Enjoy...
Sadly for the Warrandyte Historical Society... and this cache... the project to re-stump the building is dragging on. The Secretary has advised me that the local council, who are organising the work, have not provided them with any revised completion date and the Society is expecting it to be another couple of months at least.
Check on the progress of works in the Museum... estimated completion at this point is late July... so off-line for a bit longer.
Although the museum is closed while restumping takes place, I was able to find most of the information required. There were several questions unanswered, and because I had alerted the CO to the closure, and the fact that I would not be visiting Warrandyte again, he provided the numbers required. I did the sums and sorted out the coordinates. At the final GZ the cache was found and the log signed.
Geez this area is busy on weekends. I got temporarily dropped here some time ago to gather the clues so I could work out GZ. That was all I did way back whenever that was.
Today I needed to fill a calendar day so went for a quick drive on my lunch break and after parking in the nearby car park which is much easier during the week I soon was signing the log without even seeing a single muggle.
Thanks Long John Silva for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

We successfully found all of the clues at the Historical Museum with the help of the very supportive volunteers. But then my maths placed the waypoint more than two km away. The geokids were already antsy so I guess we will need to try again another time. Nice location to visit anyway!
We had been watching this one for a while as it is local to our area and has amassed 2 years of unlove. When it was reenabled last week we tried to find the answers online but soon realised we were going to need to come to the museum for the answers. We had always planned to visit the museum anyway even before we knew about geocaching. Now we have an excuse to actually visit.
The volunteer at the museum was very friendly, and compared to the amount of time we spent trying to find the answers online, we were able to find the information quite easily here. It was well worth the visit.
The maths was complicated, but worked on the second attempt.
WP2 we had visited before, thinking of using it for a multi of our own once when we visited this location during lockdowns.
It was quite muggle busy at GZ, but eventually we had a break to retrieve the cache.
Thanks for keeping this cache in the game Long John Silver. Great to see it up and running again

The cache has survived COVID-19… but only just! Back in play with new questions and calculations to align with the changed displays.
My thanks to Bunjil for allowing this cache to stay off-line for such an extended period.

Some good news at last... the Museum is now open again...
The not so great news for this cache is that the displays have changed so I need to change the questions. As the Museum is only open on Sundays and I have commitments for the next couple of Sundays at least, I won't be able to get this cache back on line for about another month...

I have been advised by the Museum Committee that the Museum will remain closed during the current COVID outbreak...
When I checked the Warrandyte Museum recently there was the same sign in the window... "Closed for the foreseeable future". Given how slow they were to re-open last year, with Omicron going nuts out there, I doubt that it will be any time soon...
Well my plan didn't go as I had hoped... and with Lockdown 6, the Museum is indefinitely closed again...
Some good news at last for this cache... I went to check on the Museum today and discovered it was the first day of a "soft re-opening" under COVID-19 protocols. It was no surprise to also discover that they have changed some of the displays... that together with restrictions on entering some rooms means that I have to re-work the questions... which I should get done in time for the full re-opening in June.
Quick stop on my way past the Museum today... the sign is still in the window... closed until further notice.
Dropped by today... sign in the window saying they are still closed... no indication of a re-opening date.
The Museum's management committee have not yet decided when the Museum will re-open after the COVIOD-19 restrictions... the cache will remain off-line for the time being.
Museum is currently closed due to COVID-19 which makes it a bit hard to find the answers... off line until they reopen.
Sold at home via the web, Google Earth and a whole bunch of trial and error. Came to the location 2 to 3 to 4 years later and walked right up to the correct spot. Great to finish this one up
Life is taking its first faltering steps back towards normal... we still have a long way to go but at least we are allowed out... stay safe... keep your distance... and use hand sanitizer
Helping those who can't help themselves... geocaching is a non-essential activity!!!
We're staying home from work for a reason... and it's not so you can go and find caches!!!

Solved this one a few weeks ago but had to wait till today to come back to pick up the prize. Love these history multi caches.
An unexpected trip almost to Melbourne as dalerious wanted Ausmer caches.
So we loaded up Harry Saturday morning, drove and cached until we pitched the tent on the side of a road Saturday night[|)][xx(][|)], slept[^] and then cached Sunday until it was time to head back to Shepparton.
20 caches were found, including the 3 oldies [^] that dalerious particularly wanted to find
Having been here before a couple of years ago on a trip down this way to look at a dog (which I didn't get) but running out of time to get this cache as I had a muggle driving me (due to my being unwell with vertigo[xx(]), tonight I had the chance to check my workings[?] and actually found the cache[^]
Lovely area here and it's nice to be revisting Historical Warrandyte
Now to find somewhere to sleep tonight [|)][xx(] before we hit the last of dalerious' targetted caches tomorrow [^]

Found under torchlight with locus cache @10:30pm.
This weekend was all about chasing older "Jasmer" challenge caches.
Well for me it was anyway as locus cache's calendar grid looks a lot healthier than mine. [8)] By the time we headed for home however, I had filled 6 more slots including 3 from 2001 among the 20 caches we found without a single DNF.
I didn't have the final coords for this one and I had no way of getting them from the meuseum at stupid o'clock at night, but I had the next best thing. I had a locus cache and she comes in very handy sometimes.
Fortunately her old workings were still valid and we soon had our names in another ripper old cache's logbook.
At this time of night we were really looking for somewhere to pitch a tent, but google kept lying to us about free camping sites.
Oh well, at least we could find a cache while we were in the area. [^]

Awesome puzzle, fun finding clues & thank goodness for iPhone calculator!! Not a fan of coordinate-only locations though as 3 compasses had 3 lots of coordinates . So had to just look for likely places a bit north and a bit east of the 2nd location. Great challenge though!

This is a nice little museum at gz. When we first arrived here, the facility was due to open 15 mins later, so we decided to duck out for lunch. Otw back, the weather gods drenched us. But I quickly ducked in to get answers to gz. On return to the car, I was surprised to find a fellow geobuddy pull up next to our car, yaay! So, we all went to gz as a group, even though 2 of them had found this before.
I was struggling with SE direction, because of the cloud cover. Also, the compass wouldn't settle. So a bit of nudging later, cih ! Stamped and returned to hiding again. Nearby muggle was feeling curious, I believe. But he didn't come to poke his nose/ask.
1 yr unloved [B] ! Also thanks LOTW, for bringing me to find this cache.

The real aim of coming over to Warrandyte was the unlove on offer on this cache. A couple of other cachers had cleared out the others which had a similar amount but couldn't access this one given the critical role the museum plays in obtaining the requisite information.
After exploring the museum and marvelling at my companion's interest in the wealth of historical information on offer we all took a walk down to GZ.
After struggling with which side contained the treasure, AlphaDeltaIndigo made the find under gentle coaxing of two previous finders.
Glad to nab this unlove and make the cache feel loved again.

Found it after a few hours of fishing down at the Yarra. Think I came across a fellow geocacher earlier this afternoon
Theres more than one way to skin a cat. Easy find once a little bit of groundwork completed. TFYC!!!
Grabbing a few outstanding caches in the area and after previously attempting this one a while ago managed to come back and work out a reasonable set of co-ord's and after heading to the gz made a quick find. Boy there were plenty of muggles about today enjoying the sunshine, signed the log and returned the cache in-between a few passing groups. Thanks so much for the cache and the history of the area.
Catching up with Happy pants and grabbing a few caches on this lovely sunny day. After a coffee and bit to eat, I was able to make my visit and grab all the info needed to make this find. It was such and infomative cache with all the history. Then it was just a matter of enjoying a walk where an quick find was made inbetween the muggles.
Thanks Long John Silva for placing the cache for us to find.

On the way home (we are locals to the area), Ninja Tortoise suggested we have a go at this one, something that's been on the potential bucket list for some time. So off to the Museum and we collected the necessary info, sort of! Then over to the cafe to do the calc's, however, one problem as we later discovered we missread the phone number. Later in the evening "eureka" idea, a bit of internet searching and via facebook we discoved a photo which sorted our missreading of the that phone number. So re-did the calcs and off we went to do it as a night cache, even heard a water rat or platypus swimming during our adventure. Quickly did the final calc's and found the treasure in 10 minutes. TFTC.
This was quite an adventure with ICW. We were having trouble producing sensible numbers for the latitude, so I tried some lateral thinking. I knew of a cairn to the old supplier of water and calculated a plausible GZ from that. However, on reading earlier logs about muggle activity it became apparent I had the wrong memorial. The place I was considering was a definite muggle-free zone.
Fortunately, while I was on this wild calculation chase ICW had solved the numbers problem and we swept off to the 'real' water memorial. Interestingly it had identical wording to the secluded cairn. GZ was easily accessible from there, with only a Rikali (native water rat) or platypus for company. Thank you for an entertaining and interesting multi.

This multi was quite the test but enjoyed it! Two weeks ago I arrived at the museum and slowly went about gathering all the information. I found it all, except one! The chap working there was very helpful but he couldn't find it either, so I emailed the historical society for help. They got back to me on Thursday and I can't believe I didn't notice it in the museum!
So once I'd done the complex calculations, I made my way to WP2 today. A much easier calculation and I was soon at GZ. I had to time it carefully but when the coast was clearI grabbed it. Thanks for this well thought out cache : )

Out today on a massive bike ride along the Yarra as part of my Yarra Expedition event.
i first thought this place was a cafe.
A great little multi, a town with some much history. We enjoyed the final which was a little tricky to find.
Thanks for placing this cache, great stretch along here.

This one was found as Team Yarra Exp while on the Yarra Expedition bike ride.
I have been passed this one so many times but never at the right time to collect the information needed so I was great that today this one could finally be cross off the list.

Kelly teamed up with 11 other diehards on a brisk Saturday morning for The Yarra Expedition - Part 5, which started by exploring Pound bend and then headed towards Mt Lofty. This one is find 4 for this trekand we signed as the expedition team...TFTC...
Found this one today with the teamyarraexp what a ride 25+ klm on bikes was a great ride. TFTC.
Starting our day at The Yarra Expedition - Part 5 event, thanks to the regular cheer squad for once again showing up to see us off. Twelve of us then started by exploring Pound Bend and Warrandyte.
So much history here.
The ride then continued 20 odd kms upstream to Mt Lofty, with an amazing variety of areas passed through.
Much of the time was spent pushing the bike. This was one of the few caches found during the ride.
Thanks goes out to all of the cache owners for the hides. Signed as The Team.

This cache was found on stage 5 of The Yarra Expedition, organised by Jacko83. An ambitious project following the Yarra from the sea back to its source.
Here we are at stage 5, Warrandyte to Mount Lofty, as we get into the outer suburbs and the civilised bike paths beside the river give way to intermittent paths, animal tracks, and ....nothing. We now go where no bike rider has gone before, and the word "Expedition" becomes more and more relevant.
Another nice multi, we used a fair number of our resources to eventually find this one.

Taking part is the Yarra Expedition V5.0 Event with lots of others. We signed logs today as Team Yarra Exp. I had wanted to find this one for some time, at one point, it was the only cache I had not found in Warrandyte. That was fixed with a big group commencing the search, Jacko83 eventually made the final find.

I have been looking at this for some time wondering how I would get to this museum at the required time and today the stars aligned and that opportunity magically popped up.
The clues took some time to get the required answers for but it was a thoroughly enjoyable time pursuing in this well stocked museum. With all the info it was back to the car to nut through the equation and after a short while I was on the way to WP2. With the additional info the GZ was plotted and a short walk later the job was done, signed sealed and delivered.

It seems the Historical Society are getting a bit more active and changing their displays around...good for them [^] ...but not so good for me . Two questions changed to keep up with the current displays...I wonder how long they will last this time...
It looks like one of the displays has been changed again...off-line until I can get it sorted.
Brought the Mrs along to visit warrandyte. Nice little town. The museum only open at 1:30 today so we decided to have a quick lunch nearby. Manage to find all the answers except for one - F. Had to ask the lady and was told that Jo has been removed, she told us that she would check. She went into the private room, search her computer, and look at her filing cabinet and produce the card with our answers. We thank her and hop into the car to do the maths. Grab the new co-or and head off.
Reach the new gz and decided to have a picnic there while we enjoy the sun and watching muggles working on their kayaks! Nice little spot..found the cache with ease.
PS: Mrs was very impressed with the efforts to create this puzzle cache. Great work!! (2 thumbs up!)

Felt like Steven Hawkins trying to solve this one.
Numbers as big as ............
Well
Really BIG.
Practically a whole newspaper was used to first write and then manipulate the equations
But that was only after the best value for money had been taken in.
The volunteer at home base couldn't understand why these bananas were hanging around. And for so long. While others came and went we stayed like lost relatives.
But it must be interesting watching people for she never complained or asked questions.
And true to our agenda we didn't ask for a clue.
With all this knowledge though we feel we could challenge Mr Hawkins. Our specialty subject. History of Warrandyte.

Used the kids to retrieve this while we checked the muggle activity. A great cache that gave us a chance to sit around town while we worked out the maths.
What an amazing afternoon with robinyang to finally tackle this one. As a CO of some other caches along the river I've long wanted to do this cache but haven't been able to make it out to the museum during opening hours. Now that I have a smiley for this one I'm very glad that I never tried to tackle it on my own. After lunch at a nearby cafe robinyang and I headed out so that he could find one of my caches with me acting as a muggle shield. We then headed for the Museum and were at first slightly overwhelmed by the amount of info that was contained in just 4 rooms, there is so much history in this area and so many bridges that have been built, demolished and rebuilt.
It took about 90 minutes to hunt out all the clues, in the end we had the museum volunteer also helping and finding things she hadn't noticed before. one particular one was a huge reminder of the 'look for things in plain sight'. After all clues had been located we headed to a cafe to grab a coffee and get our maths skills dusted off for what ended up being another 30+ minutes of calculations. Again I'm very glad I didn't try to do this on my own otherwise I'm sure I would have messed up one of those calculations with multiple brackets.
WP 1 Calculated we headed off again and now I finally know why I had a proximity issue with one of the caches I had tried to hide in this area. After another calculation we had WP 2 in hand and thankfully it wasn't far away so we headed off and with a short search had the cache in hand. This is one of those caches that reminds me that caches really can be found in places that we go everyday but wouldn't notice unless there is a reason to look.
Thanks Long John Silva, glad to finally have a smiley for this one. TFTC All up it was a great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon.

Today was out caching at Warrandyte with 4evatinks and we successful claimed a smiley for this multi. This cache was certainly a challenging cache that took around 2.5hours to complete. After lunch at a nearby cache, we headed over to the museum. When we walked inside, I was gobsmacked at how much information was on display throughout the different rooms. Our search was going to take AWHILE! I introduced myself to the staff person on duty, told her we were geocaches and seeking to find answers. She was most helpful and after about 1.5hours of reading, we finally found all the answers. Some of the toughest questions had their answers in plain sight. Couldn't believe I had missed them! So glad to have three pairs of eyes. I think I would have walked out in frustration if I came here solo.
Once we found all the answers we exited after thanking the lady for helping & left a donation. We headed to a coffee shop to work out the mathematics. Oh my goodness! Whoever came up with these equations is a serious mathematic genius. All I can say is thank you for not making us to use a scientific calculator. I cannot imagine the work that must have gone into updating the equations recently. Anyway, after two exercise book pages of calculations, an empty capp & chai latte and 40min later, 4evatinks and I had worked out the coordinates for WP2. It was good to do this together as we could check our maths together.
Made our way to WP2, found the necessary figures, did some more mathematics & calculated the final GZ coordinates. Walked the short distance to GZ and bingo, sooooo thankful to have found the cache. Signed the logbook & replaced. Phew! A good feeling to have this multi under our belts. Thanks Long John Silva for this cache. A very memorable multi indeed. Favourite from me.

What a beautiful winter day for a stroll. My geointuition is improving hehe. TFTC
After a prolonged look around the museum, which was very informative and well done, we finally had the numbers. We took a seat outside on the Verandah to do the numbers, and thankfully got them right the first time! Off to wp2, where it looked like some dodgy drug deal was going down in the carpark, but thankfully they didn't worry about us. Then a short walk to GZ. Seeing the DNF before us we were a little worried, but after a quick search I had it in hand. Thanks for an interesting multi, in which we learnt a great deal about Warrandyte, and for the hide.
I'm pretty sure I was looking in the correct spot. If I wasn't I just found the perfect spot to place my first cache.
Finally...I found some time on a weekend to go and sort this cache out. The Historical Society had changed the displays so they could commemorate World War 1 and hence a number of the original displays have been removed.
It was hard to find answers to match the ones that have gone so the formulae have got a little more complicated...but I am sure you all will manage.
Happy hunting

Finally got to have a look for myself and, yes, some of the displays have been changed.
Off-line until I can work out some new questions and answers.

This is another of those caches that has been on the "one day I should get that" list. So Sunday was the day. I headed to the museum for some interesting reading about the local area, and some question answering. Most answers were easily found, but three eluded me. After two laps of the museum I explained to the lady supervising what I was doing and enlisted help. She knew what geocaching was, but couldn't help me find the last few answers, although she did try and we found one possibility in a book. So, home to the wisdom of google. One answer was easily found, the other two a little more difficult, but after some research came up with a couple of possibilities. After a page of calculations I got a co-ordinate that was definitely NOT right, and one that probably was. (So definitely at least one wrong answer to the questions!!) Nevermind - with one coordinate correct there is hope. On Tuesday back to Warrandyte, and using the phone gps compass to find the line of the co-ord I was pretty sure was correct I made a projection. Followed that until I came to a likely spot and yep - there was the information I was looking for!! After a few more calculations, a short walk, and a brief search, only interrupted by a couple of muggles, I found the cache!!! A real sense of achievement with this one!! A favourite for the concept and because I enjoyed the problem solving in finding the answers in a roundabout way!!
It's possible the museum may have changed displays (again) as there is a very new War display - or maybe I just didn't find the answers I was looking for.

It took me a bit longer than I had hoped to get to the Museum to check the displays and find a new question for clue 'F'...but it is all done now and the cache is good to go again.
The Museum is a fascinating place to visit so have some fun and find this cache!

I have taken this cache over from its creators, the EdwardsClan, as they aren't currently able to provide the required maintenance.
From previous logs, it appears that at least one of the answers cannot be found in the Museum so I am taking it off-line until I can check all that all the required information can still be found.

Epic! Found with kcwriter atghope and Bellatijo! Glad they didn't trust my calculations!
After a visit to the Warrandyte cemetery, we decided to tackle this cache.
The museum was open and with 7 of us (4A, 3C) we managed to gather all the required data to do the math. We (thought we) worked it out and headed off to WP2. We headed in the right direction but ended up in the wrong spot not far from where we had to be. A quick re-direct thanks to hawk eyes Kcwriter and atghope and we found WP2. From here again an error in the calculations and we were slightly confused. I had a gut feeling where it could be and used the previous logs pictures to help us locate the cache. Took a couple of hours all up. TFTC

Long lost cache find !! , this cache unfound since December 2013, great to earn some points on this one. This multi was done using google-machine as library availability is limited, clues were tough to crack and a lot of research was done, gz calculated and with some help from photos cache was soon in hand but not after some troll exploring on the wrong side. This multi took me to a part of the river I have never ventured to, thanks for the cache and the walk
Started this multi 2 weeks back. A few things to note. The museum opens at 2 not 1 during November and earlier months. Also the cementry display is no longer there so answer for D could not be found. That said, I worked out the easting and tried my luck on a river stroll and found WP2. Then off to the cache. Yay. Found easy enough. Took the coin. Thanks for this cache and the nice river stroll.
Finally found it, the closest GC to my home! Had collected the clues months ago and thought that a cold rainy Friday would be a nice quiet day to look for the cache. Of course I should have know that rain doesn't stop the dog walkers if warrandyte and had to wait for a large group of muggles to move on, pretending to take photos of the river! Scrambled around in the wet grass and mud and found the cache which is in good order ... I have left Bangoskank99's Caching Around Maze Geocoin that I picked up in far North Queensland recently. Thanks for a great Geocache!
The Demolition Crew was together again on our regular Monday night caching run. The night was full of caches finds, laughs and a fair distance traveled tonight with our route taking us right out to Warburton then back into the city. We had a great night finding quite a few multis and even managed a FTF as well. Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches that we found tonight.
Found while out on another legendary Demolition Crew run starting in the Melbourne area, making a big loop out Warburton way then back to the CBD. A great night caching with lots of laughs as usual, and great company of course. Lots of multi and a few mystery cache finds, and even a FTF. Thanks to all the CO's who put out the caches we found on the night.
TR had this one solved some time ago, so it was a matter of just finding it. A new cache publication meant that we were off to the hills to attempt a FTF. TFTC.

The Demolition Crew meet once again to cache in Melbourne tonight. Tonight we had not really prepared a run, so it was a matter of "going with the flow" and looking for caches of opportunitiy in the eastern and outer eastern areas of Melbourne. I had this one solved some time ago, so it was just a matter of picking this one up. As we did, alerts for newly published caches started so the plans were altered, were off to Mt Donna Buang! Thanks.

Started working on this one about 2 years ago and after collecting the answers one Sunday afternoon I settle down to work out the coordinates for WP2. About a month later I visited that location and found nothing that related to the question ask for WP2. I had clearly gotten at least one of the answers wrong and therefore would need to return to check my answers someday. Well a long time has past since that day and I was passing by and had a flash back to this cache and so made a quick decision to stop and explore the surrounding area to see if anything would appear. It was a risk but at this point worth a try. Maybe my calculated coordinates were close??
Stoping at my original way point I then started to look close at the Nuvi GPSr map and notice something, mmm lets starting look there. So off I went and checking the kit and grab a bottle of water I started out and within minutes found the answer to WP2. O Yea!! a sweet feeling and I knew now that I was back on course. Looking at the coordinates at this point I notice that my mistake was with my South coordinates as East calculated was the same. So I sat down and calculated GZ but I think I miss understood something or the minutes are missing, anyway this GZ was 100m away from where I eventually found the cache. Yay!! a sweet find as using logic and my geo senses I finally found it at last, nice.[^].

Turned up today to gather needed info but the historical society is closed on total fire ban days
Perhaps I have made a mistake interpreting the hint. I'll go back and check someday.

24/12/2012 19:43 Last cache before XMAS and I thought I would make a brave attempt despite the recent warnings. The OSM map had a lot of trouble with accuracy and there was no entry for the creek that fed into the Yarra. Despite this and hunting a little distance away I resorted to the clue and found the cache in mere minutes. As I was retrieving I was "sprung" by a muggle who said I startled him. I had gone down and under from North to South and had the box in hand soon after. I have no idea if the box had been recently moved to this location or not but this was an easy find the first time I attempted it. Not sure why DAREE had issues with it as the logs seem to indicate it was always here. TFTC EdwardsClan TNLN SL
The clue is actually incorrect and should be adjusted or the box moved to where the clue says it is.
On our fourth attempt we finally found it. Going for a long family walk from the bakery along the river with our family and my wife's twin sister and her family, I decided to have one last go with this one. Our maths never worked out unfortunately and the clue was incorrect (perhaps it used to be located someplace else nearby). Despite all that, it really was a very good cache adventure, finally "put to bed".
The artists display has been updated and the Jo Sweatman display appears to be removed.
Our first attempt at this one. Took an hour to find most of the answers in the museum with a little assistance from the volunteer (the kids and wife were getting impatient). The cemetery phone number is the hardest one. Keep looking. Jo Sweatman's display has just been removed, so you'll need to use wikipedia on that one. Went to the trouble of checking my maths twice, but then accidentely put the wrong co-ordinates in to the GPS and then sent my family on a wild goose chase. But it was a nice bush walk on a sunny warrandyte day. Will have to try this one again another day.
Finally I can put this one to rest. I has been a long journey and is nice to get it off my map. Really enjoy the history lesson at the musuem and caught up with one of the kids teachers who volunteer's there. Picked up the clues except one which I had to research for. Checked out the next stage with help and got to GZ. I came back a few times searching and with additional help from GJMelb, still could not find it. Having it on my watch list it came up again when visited by swanhillian with success. I revisited once again and still no joy. Called help desk and they led me the way. Thanks Swanhillan, appreciate your response.
Thanks EdwardsClan for the cache, just love this area and you gave me a chance to revisit on many occasions.

Found it! We first tried this 2 weeks ago and gathered all the clues within about 30 minutes with the help of the geo-kids hunting out the answers. We had a little minor mathmatical mishap so were a little off and ran out of time. When we got home we rechecked our sums and found the mistake. It wasn't until today we had a chance to go back and grab the cache. Lots of muggles due to it being Australia Day and sunny, but no problems really. TFTC.
Yah first to find this one in 2012. I have been meaning to do this cache for a
while now. Finally work out all the clues after a morning visit and some research took about an hour or so. Thanks for bring us here once again. Great cache to complete due the week not so many muggles about.
Took nothing left a card. TFTC

Been onto this one for a longggggggg time and just keeping my eye on if anyone had found it. I had found all the answers except for one so touched base with EClan. Still could not find the cache even though I thought I knew where GZ was. When I noticed melb's had found it I touched base for more assistance. They were very detailed about its location which was exactly where I was looking. I returned with complete weather gear and went in for a through look. I am satisfied that it cannot be there anymore. There was large amounts of soil there so maybe it has been buried.
Loved the history lessen.
Thanks for bringing me back to one of my favourite places.

After 3 visits to the Museum and still not being able to work out WP2 due to not being able to find one of the answers etc we emailed the Cache Owner. We didnt get a reply after a week so we employed the "email-a-friend" option who kindly guided us in the right direction.
The cache is in really good dry condition and we TNLNSL
TFTC Edwards Clan, we enjoyed the Museum visits even if we couldnt find all the info/ couldnt get the maths to work.

Cracker Girl started this cache nearly 18 months ago and had a great time collecting all the information ans met at the historical society a lovely elderly gentlemen who kept her talking for ages so she ran out of time to complete it. After attending the Pedal Thru event today and with Cracker Dad working we decided that this would be the ideal spot for a Mother's day picnic and to finally finish the cache off. There were quite a lot of muggles making the most of this fantastic area but we were able to grab the cache between waves.
Thanks EdwardsClan for the cache

YAY!!!!!
Was releived to finally find this as I'd completed another muilt part way through this and took me half the afternoon, I was starting to get weary from walking up and down the track what seemd like 5 times! I hope I don't have nightmares about all these clues, numbers and sums I did today!
Took the pig TB
plus EdwardsClan handed over Jane TB also.
The whoel reason for me doign this cache today was I felt sorry for these two TB's!!!!!!

I had put this one off for ages, and not only because I was never there at the right time. In the end it turned out to be much easier than I expected, although I did get a little lucky. However I do recommend it to others to do - the museum is actually pretty good as such things go.
I was the only one there for a while on a quiet day, although that had nothing to do with me finding all of the information within about 15 minutes! The items there are in themed rooms and each bit of information needed is in a logical spot. A keen eye helped and when the person on duty asked me if I needed any help, I had already finished, I explained what I was doing which interested him. I then gave him a "test" on what I had been looking for and he didn't do too badly!
I had set up a small page to do the maths, my laptop having gone on the blink. My calculator did too! So I did it step by step.
My first wp2 came up dissapointingly blank but I knew I had to be close so looked in a nearby likely spot and hit paydirt. Then my gz was not looking good until I expanded my search and found the cache. I then found my silly maths error!
Thanks to TeamGeoPlesk for a good fun cache, which is nice to have finally gotten off my list.

With two long term misses accounted for, I thought it might be time to try for this one even though it would be a first attempt for me. I had done some preparatory work at home (even though virtually nothing can be weaned) and headed to the wonderful little museum for a very interesting look for the clues. I had to scrounge around a fair bit for a few of the answers but finally I was on my way to GZ, following a computation using a very useful Excel spreadsheet .
Once at GZ, the cache presented itself quite quickly at 15:20 on this glorious afternoon. And what a great area GZ is in too although there is no shortage of muggles.
TNLNSL, although our round tuit geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks EdwardsClan.

It has taken me three visits here and today thankfully the museum was open again as last time I was ejected well before finding all I need to know.
It has been at least 6 months since my last visit but I had the cache notes from last time and the final clues were gathered. Plenty of history in this area and a good excuse to come back over here.
Thanks Edwards Clan.
