Went by this one a few days ago in the morning to check it out. The container was gone, so I suspect those that are responsible came back to finish the job.
I am no longer able to dedicate as much time to Caching as I used to so this one will have to go and make room for others to place their caches.
Cheers All.

Off line till I sort out what is going on, but it sounds like this one may have to be moved to a new spot.
This must be the worst hidden cache I have found.... Maybe it's not in the correct hiding spot?
The cache has been muggled twice since the last log once by someone who left a nice message and second by someone who has written F... the police across every page of the log. Therefore the log book needs replacing.
This was the 200th cache for The Lost Potatoes and therefore a bit sad to find one like this.

Lovely sunny garden on a cold winter morning. Left my calling card no.51 plus a small silver medallion which I found lying on one of the benches nearby. TFTC.
Spotted this one so once grabbed commenced the signing duties.
This cache must have been found by some muggles as there were some comments in the log that once read I removed. Not very family orientated. At least they left the cache there.

I have spent the last 5 days painting my daughters house. I was finally given 2 hours "leave". Great bit of history. Thanks.
A quick find in beautiful location, lots of muggle activity so needed timing. Tnln tftc
We had a really nice dinner here a few years back when there was a restaurant operating in Boronia Park. Nice to come back on a sunny Saturday afternoon, the only ones in the park. TNLN SL TFTC Cheers........Gaztek
Third time lucky, i got this on my way home from work today.

There weren't actually many options where to look for the Cache,
but we obviously for the first 5minutes still didn't look good enough.
Thinking my boyfriend already checked the concrete cache spot, I only 're-checked' it shortly before we were thinking of leaving (as it got darker and we again didn't bring our torch).
Nice cache and location!!

We decided to walk from Spit Junction, Keary's Misfortune, down to Mosman Bay, Heritage No2s, sadly we did not find this one, have lunch at the Rower's Club and back up to Neutral Bay Junction, Snugglepot and Cuddlepie.
Great listed building with the small park at rear. Easy enough find despite the park being quite busy.

Knocking off another LP cache before the deadline. I think thats 5 or 6 I have. Still a few to go. Not sure if I'll get the chance to finish them before the deadline as Im going away. Hopefully they come back soon with new owners. Unfortunately the two closest to me have already been adopted and with my extended absence from Sydney this year I will not be able to look after these North Shore ones LP. Good Luck finding new owners! TFTC - Its in good nick still, quick find.

A pretty straight forward find even with muggles in the vicinity.
Dried the container out and threw away the chocolate and cigarette paper packet.
It looks like muggles have found this but haven't destroyed it thank goodness.
A nice place with a quite a bit of history.
Thanks La Perouse

All good things must come to an end. La Perouse is in his seventies and increasingly "wellness challenged". So I'm going to archive my remaining 12 (?) caches on 4th April, 2010, the day that NSW Daylight saving ends. Any cacher who would like to takeover this cache or other caches, please contact me. Meanwhile, I've removed the premium rating. Enjoy them whilst you can!
There were muggles afoot, I'm asumming they were preparing for a function.
After a short search the cache was in hand and the cache placement meant the muggles couldn't see a thing.
Thanks

Fairly easy find, although fairly busy near GZ when I visited, so some stealth was required. TNLN TFTC
You can tell when the batteries are finished, the GPSr starts doing some strange things before the screen fades to black. This is what happened to us, but not before the cache gave up its hiding spot.

nice straightforward cache, in a park with muggle mums and their muggle bubs. Finding a parking space is one of the harder elements of this cache, lovely park in the middle of a busy suburb.
Pulled into this one only to have muggles sitting out the back talking. As we drove out mum jumped out of the car once out of sight and went back to make the find. Muggles none the wiser the cache was found logged and replaced.

Found quickly although I have been here a few times during the week but there was way to many kids wagging school and fooling around nearby.Looks like they also added a few pages to the log books which I thought best to rip out, there's only so many doodles of doodles one needs to see.
Cheers.

There were quite a few muggles around today but we did our best to avoid them. The log seems to have had a few muggle visitors? But not harm done! Found, signed and replaced. A nice urban cache. TFTC
Lots of muggles from all angles but managed to locate the cache unseen. Nice spot. TFTC
What a lovely garden! We had the area to ourselves this morning, but kept an eye on the overlooking flats just in case. Signed the log, replaced as found, and added a bit more camo (looks like the wind blew most of it away since the last find). Thank you for sharing this hidden garden, for the interesting history, and for the cache La Perouse!
"Keary's Misfortune" is back (took me 5 attempts!). To escape muggles, avoid weekend afternoons - the weddings; weekday lunchtime - sandwich eaters; and around 3-4.30 pm when schoolchildren tend to accumulate before they go home. Sadly, the geocoin 12 Taler is not in the cache. Please seal all bags, BYO pencil, and put cache back exactly in the same orientation that you took it out.
During the school holidays, the place seems to be teeming with teenage muggles. Tried three times to put cache back with new log book. No luck - so will defer until end of the month.
1530 13-04-09 Removed cache for repair. Looks like usual problem - poorly sealed log book bag. Should be in position again by next w/e.
Interesting hide. When I first turned up a couple were having lunch on a different seat, and a surreptitious look came up blank. When they left I moved further away to get clear GPS reception and spotted it from a distance. So a fairly easy find all in all.
Unfortunately the logbook is wet and I could barely make a mark in it, it needs taking out and leaving in the sun for a day or so I think. Nice old house there anyway. Thanks La Perouse.

Arrived here “by accidentâ€... I was trying to go to the harbour bridge lookout point (on the pylon) and got onto some bus that went in the right direction. But I missed the correct exit and ended up here! So I went to find the cache and got back on the next bus .

Keary's misfortune was nothing compared to Ozjeeper's misfortune in not finding the cache. We are fairly sure we found the location but the container seems to be missing.
This one is fairly close to home and our sixth cache for the day.

Not a hard find after a little thought. The muggles having lunch in the gazebo politely left after a few mins to leave me to my search alone. Found this one while I was having my car washed. Just as I had my hand on the cache, the buzzer went off! Perfect timing.
The log book is a bit damp, may need to keep an eye on it. Fellow cachers be sure to reseal the bag to keep the book dry. TFTC.

First find for the short Tealby A-Team Sydney expedition - took along a caching buddy who lives in the area (poochnlapdog), who spotted the cache really quickly, but is not a premium member so is unable to log without assistance. Arrived today from Hobart with gspblu for a few days caching up the Northern Beaches and this one was our first find on the way.

June 17, 4 pm. Dropped by to check cache positioning, which I had to adjust fractionally as it was not where it should be. Area is well bemuggled, so cachers, please note where it is and replace precisely there.
Joint effort with smatty and mightybent. Did it while waiting for the presentations at the Mini-Mos. Good cache and no muggles about.
Dentoz spotted this cache first (and logged it before me for once) even though I was so close before hand. A good caching day, wet, windy and cold - keeps the muggles away. Thanks La Perouse.
Didn't get as much of a look as I'd like due to muggles, and GPSr struggling to get a solid fix. Maybe another time, Interesting spot but the rubbish in the area was a shame. All I found was a small bubble-mix that looked like it should be in a geocache...
Found this one without to much trouble thanks to the help of The Voucher. TFTH.

Was expecting a more difficult find here as I have encountered several of La Perouse's caches in the past, and they are not easy...for me. The color said "I'm in the proper place." So I lef it be. This was #8 of 8 on my 10+ mile geotrek from my hotel in the city to Spit Junction....Now I'm going looking for a place that will serve me a large glass of golden amber fluid as I'm quite tired and my dogs feel like they are on fiiire...Thanks La Perouse. I truly enjoy hunting your caches....Returning twice more this month for more hunting. No Rangers, plenty of teenagers, nobody in any windows. tv
I have stopped by this place a few times recently, but with no such luck! The first time there was to many muggles and the second was after dark only to discover the gates padlocked! Today was third time lucky and the log book signed! TNLN, Thanks and regards, MRG

This cache has spent most of its life as my closest unfound cache. I had visited several times and left without searching due to crowds near the cache. Today was no exception with a group of local teens hanging about nearby. I threw a rueful glance over my shoulder as I reached the car, only to see them leaving. Once clear the cache was speedily found and logged.
Gizmo had us chasing our tales, but eventually the penny dropped and the cache was found.

Rejoice, for the prodigal cache has returned - but not quite where it was originally placed. Strongly suspect a passing muggle. Coords don't need changing.
Was with Robmc on this one. He made the find while I was waiting for the GPS to settle. Might have been waiting a while but it didn't matter.

We were working with week old listings, so we didn't see the not-available note, but we didn't have any trouble finding the cache. It was early in the morning so there weren't too many muggles about (no weddings at 7:30am ).
It is an interesting area. I had driven past all week and not noticed it.
If you want to discuss the location, drop me an email.

Well, we were both searching.. I roughly had one area of the park, and Charl had the other. She might have found it, but I put it back.
I haven't had a chance to check out Boronia before, though I've driven past it countless times. There was some kind of casual function on, and they paid no attention to us, when we strolled through the manicured gardens, and into GZ.
