A lovely morning out with T4mmmy, collected a few more oldies up this way - A pleasant walk down here. A bit nervous about how much offtrack bush bashing this would need, but the bush is thinner and wasn't hard to navigate. GZ is worth it.
Thanks Scrub Bull for entertaining me at this location.

Awesome time with Davinells! Totally unplanned but absolutely amazing day looking for old caches after the geopup event today in Coolum Beach.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Scrub Bull. Enjoyed the adventure. Hint was very helpful. Adding a FP!

After climbing Mt Ninderry E_Smiley and I targeted some oldies in the ‘area’. I hadn’t looked this far north for the weekend so was just going along for the ride, with no prior research.
This cache was an awesome surprise! We parked at the day use area and set off along the trail heading to the furthest cache first. A beautiful patch of forest made for a really nice walk.
About 140m from GZ we turned into the bush and watched our numbers count down.
Well you can’t really miss the outer ‘camo’...it’s huge! The nearby vine was quite handy in getting me up and I pulled the cache out. I passed it down to E to do the signing duties and we added another spray of WD40. Thanks so much M65 and TGG for replacing this one so it can live on.
Another great SB cache and were happy to show it some love. Easily gets a FP. Tftc

So pleased to sign this logbook! Couldn’t find the retrieval device that Natalie left so did it the only other way with a little assistance from a vine. I was on my own so brought it down to sign and then returned it to its hiding place. Thanks to the previous finders for the new ammo tin and maintenance. This is a great hide from Scrub Bull. Fav from me.
What a bloody great cache hide, as per previous logs, noted that nobody was willing to just clean up to maintain this fabulous (and I mean fabulous) cache! Great D/T & a new log & Box installed for the new 5 years ; providing subsequent cachers undertake a spraying of the working parts of the box with the WD40 we have left inside it.
Muggle65 and l continued on from the last cache. Felt a bit conspicuous carrying a new ammo tin but noone batted an eyelid. No bush bash to GZ, just 140m of nice bush walking. Disengaged old tin and it collapsed into a few pieces. Tied new one on, gave it another coat of WD40 and replaced. Left can of WD40 in the cache so hopefully it gets some semi regular sprays which may increase its lifespan. Great spot for a cache. Thank you so much
Oh scrub bull.
What a legend you are.
I'd wanted to come to woorai forest to ride the mountain bike trails here for a while now, so i was rather excited for the day to finally arrive.
Not having read much beforehand i rolled to within a hundred and twenty odd metres quite easily..
Then dragged the bike in twenty odd metres, chaining it to a tree, i carried on dodging wait a whiles and random logs until i came within sight of gz.
Ammo tin's lid is held together by rust or something and it also being the tether is problematic in the future.
The logbook was so manky as well, a difficult half dodgy scratch of teslavj and my names before gently replacing the cache where it goes.
Reading some past logs has me stunned in disbelief at some past antics here. Holy cow.
This was such a fun find and location and easily gets another favourite for the collection.
Although i've done the evil series now and hadn't before finding this cache, like dahumbug mentions in his log, could easily be evil seven.
Thank you scrub bull wherever you are.

We grabbed the last spot available in the car park when we parked and with all the bike racks hanging off the back of cars, we thought that we would be spending all our time dodging a cavalcade of bike riders. We saw a couple but not as many as we imagined so clearly we weren’t invited to the party and I had just polished my dancing shoes.
We were about 120 metres away when it came time to leave the track. We were up for a bash but after getting through some long grass, it was clear sailing to GZ. So we uttered the immortal words of Darth Vader on Bespin, “All too easy”. You have to say it in your best Darth Vader voice for full effect.
We saw the problem in front of us but I had read that there was some sort of TOTT close by from previous logs. That was all a lie. No matter how hard I looked, I couldn’t find a ladder, abseiling gear or harness, let alone a cushion to break my fall.
My wife came up with an ingenious solution as long as it was me up there. Her solution probably wouldn’t go down very well at a safety seminar. So I made it up and was able to pass the cache down for her to open and stamp.
It was covered in muck and so I was happy it was her getting her hands filthy. The cache was replaced and I could feel her anguish all the way back to the car that her hands were dirty and she couldn’t scratch the motor if needed. Awarding a favourite point for the fun had. tftc

Parked up at the day use area before heading off down the track towards GZ, picking up a TOTT on route which Natalie had very kindly left for cachers to use. As previous cachers had logged - the container is in poor condition and the log quite damp but still writable. Deserves a favourite point for the great adventure. TFTC Scrub Bull
We turned that frown upside down! A busy morning on the trail today, with the Noosa Classic happening tomorrow. Lovely to see so many cyclists about. A quick ascent to GZ and the container retrieved, which was in better condition than expected. Very happy to put our name on this log! Tether replaced with a thicker, stronger cord and secured as previous was. The ammo box still seals so will last a bit longer, albeit rusting, it will be ok for now. If anyone attempts this but finds themselves truly unable (and is still willing), I have stashed my assistance device somewhere nearby for future use. You are welcome to use it, just flick me a message for its whereabouts. This hide gets a favey from us. As per my previous log, I'm so glad this cache.
Ooohhh - so glad for this GZ by this CO! I’ve seen a number of these while bushwalking for scrubby hides and always admired them. Even considered one as a possibility somewhere else... and BAM here it is. Yay! Perfect spot for the 99th and as Humbug said: could easily be Evil 7. Our little team circled for some time trying different ways to get that log. We got up, we even had the retrieval device in hand, but alas that container wasn’t budging. Soooo close but it wasn’t going to happen without damaging it. Had to let you win this one SB, but we shall return with TOOT and a replacement container (as previous finder noted it’s not in good condition). Walk in to GZ was quite easy as per recent logs. It’s only an initial long grass entrance and not much wait a while at the moment. Watch this space for a smiley conversion ️
I agree with Beardman75 - I don't know why this cache receives so few visits. Bushfire, Mother Nature's lawn mower, has cleared away lot of the forest floor vegetation (although the leaf litter has returned with a vengeance). If you pick the right path it is a relatively clear walk in to GZ (as long as your GPS doesn't bounce you around in varying directions as mine tended to).
At GZ task before me soon presented itself. I had to become Monkey Smurf, using a nearby tree vine for assistance to get where I needed to be. Balancing precariously in a foothold, I managed to retrieve the cache container. It really is in poor condition now, the hinges rusted away and only the friction of the outer rust keeping the lid on. I only just managed to prise the lid open without toppling off my perch. I applied my stamp to logbook and managed to squeeze the lid back into place and return it to its hide. TFTC

I am surprised that this cache managed to avoid any visits for the whole of 2018. Since the fires mentioned by previous finders, the undergrowth hasn’t really recovered. Once past the long grass on the edge of the track, it’s a gentle walk in. There is a bit of wait awhile around but not much and easily avoided.
Arriving at GZ and reading the hint, it was pretty obvious where I needed to go. But it wasn’t until I was sitting on top and thinking about how I was going to get in there that I noticed the tether. I took the cache out and got back to terra firma to open it as the lid was quite stiff. It was quite caked in mud and hard to open. Everything inside is a bit wet and manky. But the log book was only a little damp. I climbed back up to lower it into its hide as I’m not too sure how long the hinges on the tin will last.
Thanks for the cache Scrub Bull. This was find #3891. Please discover my trackable: MMGJ6B.

Running out of time here today, at the end of a day of adventure and fun, NyssaFlutterby and I decided to make one more grab before we headed out of here and back home.
Leaving the path we were oddly rather grateful to be heading through here after the fire had cleared it for us as it reduced the amount of wait-a-while we had to deal with.
And then we finally got to GZ. Really?! Nyssa made first attempt and saw what we were after, but it required approaching from a different angle, so we adjusted our approach and saw where we needed to be instead, and then it was my turn. Grabbing the cache I passed it to Nyssa to sign while I waited to return the cache, starting fb to feel the pain in my foot, but all done and safely reassured, and we were charging odd back out of there to the car and back home after a great day.
This might've been 99 but we were definitely not out!

Today turned into a bit of an adventure!
The fire that went through here must have been pretty dramatic as whole logs and stumps had gone!
Was hoping that I wasn't stumped at the GZ but luckily the fire had stopped short!
BTW, never saw the retrieval device until I was standing at the bottom. With a thunderstorm over head I got out of there fast.
Thanks for the hide! Those old times must have been tough!

Had great fun doing this.
Before going off into the bush, I decided to get changed into my wait a while suit. Cargo pants and a loan of CDAH55 thick windcheater even though it was a hot day. Phil Serenity also changed into a set of cargo pants. CDAH55 continued on in shorts and t-shirt, brave man that he is. Mosquitoes were also out in full force.
I had my own sauna happening in an oversized wincheater, but i had a choice of whether to be ripped apart by wait a while and be bitten by mosquitoes or have a sauna. I chose the sauna option. Some people even pay to have a sauna, madness. That wait a while is fierce, i was concerned at one stage it was going to rip through the borrowed wind cheater. We got to gz in a round about way. I didn't have my trusty gps with me and had to put my confidence in a mobile phone and cdah55 driving the phone.
At gz the cache was soon located at the first spot i looked. Felt like a lumber jack. Had more sweat pouring off me as I went in to retrieve the cache. It was even hotter in there. Headed back to the car by a less round about way and once again put my faith in cdah55 navigating ability with the mobile phone. Soon saw a lovely site, the car. I could now disrobe out of this sauna suit.
My type of fun, gotta push yourself to the limits to sign your name on that piece of paper in a container in the bush. Just ignore the fierce mosquitoes, skin cutting wait a while and the heat and humidity.

As described by scrub bull a hard bush bash for the final 150 m and a clever hiding place well done tftc
Another typical Scrub Bull cache!
We had great fun riding along the mountain bike trails until we approached the area where we were required to head bush. After getting hung up on all sorts of prickly plants and webs we arrived at GZ. I instantly knew what was required to retrieve the ammo box. Nice chainsaw work there Scrub Bull!

I seriously didn't know what I was getting myself into, little bro stayed with the bikes whilst mum and I heading into the bush. What ended up being about 130m bush bash we finally came to the magnificent stump. I instantly knew what I had to do.

After a nice long hike at Pomona, I thought that I might hit up a few caches on the way home.
Whilst looking over the map I decided that I really wanted to get out into Mother Nature today and needed an area that I really could get lost in. What better of an area then where this cache is located, it was exactly that I was looking for; an abundance of lush nature and a few Geocaches.
This was a funny cache for me to find, as I was just thinking that it was strange that I have not found a cache hide like this yet.
It had been a long day and I had a done a fair bit of hiking by the time I got to this cache. After getting closer to GZ I knew right where I had to be. After a little stretching, I was ready to ascend the terrain rating.
I was glad to see that I didn't have to do what I thought that I might have to do, as there were quite a few spiders at home today...
Thanks for yet another great hide Scrub Bull. All is in order with this cache.

Our first search, this one looked interesting and it was just that. Thanks for an enjoyable start to geocaching.
I approached this cache from the last cache called sunrise bike walking along the mountain bike trails. Eventually got there but it did become quite a long walk.
The walk from the track to GZ was interesting. The thorn bushes were aggressive and were determined to hang on to any clothing that they grabbed.
At GZ spent a bit of time trying to find the missing cache. All the obvious spots proved negative.
Reading some of the past logs revealed a clue which led to its discovery.
This was a very clever hide.
The ammo tin is starting to corrode and was difficult to open.
I have added this as a favourite. Thanks for the clever hide.

"Hello Chief, it's Max. Do you know the location of 99? She was supposed to meet me outside Mr Wong's."
Yes, the theme song was going through my head as I homed in on this one. It was late afternoon but I still had enough daylight to find GZ. It did take me a bit of effort to access the cache but it was plenty of fun. A slight injury was sustained in the clumsy mis-handling of the container but no harm done to the actual cache! Thanks Scrub Bull for this great old cache in a wonderful area.

After walking through the wet forest for I while I came here from west, wondering why the Terrain difficulty was so high, for just that bit of wood.
Soon I learned and almost thought I had not only to get my skin scatched but also to get my feet wet, as my way was flooded. Finally I found a way around the ponds and puddles and could strom the cache. Thanks for leading me through this amazing forest and for the great adventure.
Simply awesome Cache!

Wow what a trek... Good hide and good walk make sure you are well prepared
Onward to this cache.
Found a trail in and did not hook up with much wait-a-while.
Soon at GZ and surveyed what we had to do.
We had visited one of these Scrub Bull ones before only the last one was easier.
It became a team effort.
Geopartner retrieved and I supported him.
A most difficult cache but still achievable.
As we were walking back out of the park, 3 P plated 4WD's tried to run us down. They should not have been in the park.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Scrub Bull All good with this cache
A favourite as we had to work together to earn it.

After doing some maintenance at a nearby cache, I was recommended to get to this one. It is a Scrub Bull cache after all and shouldn't be ignored. It was very late in the afternoon, but that didn't deter me. Once getting to GZ and seeing the hide, many that I was admiring on my walk in, I was thinking that this easily could of been mistaken for EVIL SEVEN.
Any who, enjoyed the cache and the little walk through this park.
Thanks for the cache, Scrub Bull.

What a cache! This is a reallly fun find! I couldn't stop laughing at how clever Scrub Bull was with this one. Note for anyone else attempting this- Don't park at the QPWS (?) Base- this is the LONG WAY! Park at Wooroi Day Use Area. It's also really easy to miss the track you are supposted to be on (as you change tracks a couple of times) so take note.
Took toy soldier and left some gold (well LOTS of gold actually)

#1540, initially unsure whether to do this, but we had a blast, wearing all terrain crocs and beachwear bashed our way thru the jungle, first encounter with wait a while, luckly no snakes spotted, daughter got bitten by a large ant, got dirty, all in good fun, has to be the best of the holiday, tftc
WELL...... after trompsing into the unknown & staring some Wait-a-While in the face we finally found the cache. Fantastic hide TFTC
#119 @ 3:36pm I hate Wait a While. This was way more painful than it needed to be. Cache is in great condition. TNLNSL ~ TFTC Scrub Bull
We continued on from the Palms of Easter cache to this one in the stifling heat. Luckily, there was a fair amount of shade along the track, but it was still very muggy [XX(]. I knew that there would be a fair sort of bush bash near the end, and after reading logs about the cache, i was sorry that i didn't bring my long pants . I watched the arrow slowly start pointing to the left until the numbers stopped counting down. DOH …. 150m to GZ …. must be on the wrong track . I decided then and there that an extra 50m won't kill me (hopefully).
Janine and the kids waited in the shade on the track as i started my journey into Scrub Bull territory … OH MY … so many wait-a-whiles …. so little protection . The Gizzmo was quite vague, but it sort of kept up with me except for a couple of spots where i was 'walking alone', but it caught up eventually . Upon nearing GZ, the smartphone, once again seized up … and there's a creek in the picture . I spied a myriad of likely places to hide any sized cache, so i once again stared at the compass on my phone, begging it to point me in the right direction .
At this point, i pulled the garmin out of my pocket and started it up for backup. Mmmm … 54m … 44m … 23m … and i haven't even moved anywhere . I scoured the landscape for an obvious hiding place and spied a likely subject on the distance. 'That looks interesting, i thought, and made my way through about 10 wait-a-whiles in 20 meters to what i thought may be GZ [?]. I had a good look around without luck until i got a bit more adventurous . Ahhh … there it is … and after a bit more investigation, the cache was in hand .
The cache is in great condition and dry inside. I signed the log, returned the treasure back to it's challenging hide, and with a "Cooee" here and there, i headed back out with the arrow facing behind me .
I was soon back on the track where i found the rest of the gang 'hot, hungry & had enough'. We headed back to the car, looking forward to a yummy lunch and a cool drink when we got back, but when we were only a coupe of hundred meters from the car, i had a horrible thought …" Where's my phone?". I searched every pocket 5 times, rang it, and checked the pram over and over, but the reality was … i'd left it back where i had emerged from the scrub .
I then had to find an unknown supply of energy to haul my sorry a$$ back to the place where i had left it, while Janine and the kids kept heading back to the car . After jogging an extra 1km in the stinking heat, i made it back with phone in hand, and quite a deal of sweat drenching my clothes [xx(].
Thanks Scrub Bull, for another challenge in some awesome forest .. One to remember for sure . Thank's for bringing us here and TFTC.

Love it!! [^] We were a bit apprehensive about the terrain rating after some runins with the local wait-a-while but we managed to pick a fairly open path to the cache. Aha, there it must be!! So of course Loki needed to test out her skills . A very fun cache with some great photo opportunities and what a great GZ! Nice find. Thanks Scrub Bull. Would do this one again in a heart beat. [^]
Lokipagan and I were keen to do this cache deep down in the depths of the park. I really enjoyed the walk into this one. Once we left the path, I took the lead to beat a path when necessary. Thankfully it was not too bad - save some very grabby vines.
We eventually got to GZ and noted what was before us. Thankfully we had a Loki that was up to the task and had the container in and we signed the log. Loki's "removal of herself" from GZ was less than graceful. By all reports, it is probably for the best that I did not witness it
A great area and challenge, Scrub Bull. Yet another of your caches that has not disappointed. TFTC

I have avoided this one for ages thinking I would come out the worse for wear having survived many Scrub Bull caches before. I was very pleasantly surprised. Made the trip in and out unscathed. GPS was pretty close. Circled GZ before locating the extraction device. Used the device to no avail. Had to practice the old lumberjack moves in my bike shoes which was no mean feat TNLN TFTC
I hummed and harred about going 100m off the track. Had visions of getting entangled in vines and never finding my way back again. Took the precaution of waypointing the track and preceded to try my luck. Turned out to be easier territory than it looks. I'm really glad I gave this one a go. I noted in the log "Best Cache Ever"! Luky for me I brought n90ard along to do the hard part. Thanks Scrub bull. Loved it.

Classic scrub bull. What a brilliant cache. Even a puzzle at the end. Excellent.
Found right on dusk and after a battle with the bush. Excellent hide, cache is in good condition. Thanks
Finally had time to do this one and get it off the hit list...........had to laugh at note "Green Team" left, as i had found what was needed as well................when it was all too late, of course . I also dropped everything ,so you can add on another 1/2 hr . Now i know why this cache is out in the middle of nowhere..................so no one can hear you swear ..........ha

0940hrs. We didn't realise how much we had missed Scrub Bull Caches? I must need my eye sight checked as I climbed in to retrieve the cache. Picking it up was a feat all on its own. It was a good morning for a walk to get warm. TFTCSL

What an adventure, we had to find the way in, took us 15mins to find a track. Then an enjoyable 40min walk to the last 140ms. We slowly entered the bush and found our way to gz. GPS had us going from one spot to another. Looked for around 20mins when we looked at the time. Oh my gosh, we were running out of time we had to be at a shop in Maroochydore in an hour. We had already looked in the right spot but didn't see anything, geohusband said, I'll have another look and bingo, this time all was revealed. Quickly signed the log added a TB returned the cache and we were off. Great cache, highly recommended. PS made it to the shop 10mins before closing.

Well technically I found it, just couldn't get to it. I was by myself and wasn't too keen to climb down there. Ha! A bit frustrating being able to see it but not get it. You win this one Scrub Bull but I'll be back. Love your work. So much better than the standard hide.
I did quite a bit of caching around the area over the past couple of days but this would easily be the highlight. It had it all - some navigation required to get to the location, a bit of cross country walking, an interesting hide, and a challenge to extract the cache. How do you guys find these places - do you spend your time wandering the bush looking for that ideal hide? Anyway, extract the cache I did - although I did do as the hint says when perhaps I didn't need to. A highly recommended cache - thanks Scrub Bull for putting it together.
This one has been on the radar way too long.We have had a couple of false starts so today is it.We had a nice walk into with in 120 metres of gz,then it was as stated, bush bash.Slowly we made our way to gz.Geez we said .cache found and duty's done.as we were walking out we did find a nother spot for a ammo can.

Woohoo!!! The HawMorFords found it first!!!
A fitting occasion for Scrub Bull's 99 cache too.... it was FTF #99 for the HawMorFords!
(PS: Re the terrain rating - 4 is grossly over stated. I'd rate it at 2).
