Found the scramble down to GZ quite easy after finding some good steps to the North. Unfortunately, that was the only thing we found. Had a good look in all the likely places, we think, but couldn't locate the prize.
Thanks anyway, Bateau Rouge, for showing us this spot

Here with Big Matt and Steeba as part of our Vic invasion weekend. It was only fitting that Steeba found this for his 2000th find.
It was very slippery here with light rain falling.
Thanks

Found this cache on our Victorian Invasion trip with Steeba and The Rats. A very treacherous approach down to the cache in the wet today, a nice find was made by Steeba.
Thanks Bateau Rouge for the cache.

I believe this was find 2000. Down the slippery path we went before the slippery rocks then some caving for the cache. Certainly an interesting one.

Marshall's Geelong found this cache today, Second attempt to find this cache as there was a fishermuggle the first time we looked, TFTC
Came to Geelong to have lunch with some friends who participated in a local fishing competition, plenty of flathead and whiting caught but they didn't win. Found some locals at the bottom of the muddy steps looked set for a few hours fishing. Tide was out, rocks were slippery, cache found, log signed.

Found today, even though I helped place it years ago. (Bateau Rouge is my son.) The cache is holding up well and has even had an accidental find. We had stopped receiving log emails so we were a bit concerned then we realised we had changed our isp and failed to change his email (d'oh). NINO SL left pen TFTC Also left Little Mermaid Copy TB to begin her journey.
Found the cache today at 11am on the way back from the Hume and Hovell series Happened the tide was on it's way out and decided to take the plunge over the cliff Got to the bottom and headed in the direction of the cache trying not to slip over on that slippery yellow rock. Eventually sidled along to the cache and found it ok TNLN and back tracked up the same way The cache was different but I enjoyed it . Thanks Bateau Rouge for the cache
Found with Geogal83 and AdorableRose.. 2 access paths we chose the harder of the 2 as didnt find the second until back on firm ground! Ran into fellow cachers moment of terror when thought caught redhanded by muggles!
Beautiful scenery but was very windy
This was adventurous and heaps of fun TFTC!!!

Found today at 3:00pm with WB' on wet and windy day, bit slippery. Thanks Bateau Rouge.
Quite enjoyed climbing down the cliff, luckily we managed to get this one before the sun went down.

Scrambling down the side of a cliff, hoping that the sun stays up for a few more minutes proved worthwhile, coming out successful.

We found our 1st Bateau Rouge cache at 3:25pm as the 13th of 28 on our Geelong and Lara Spring Cache Quest. Every now and then a great cache just comes right out of the blue. The location of this cache was just excellent and will easily slot into our list of top 50 cache finds to date. I thought that the access to this one was going to be fairly tough and I would be doing on my own but a relatively easy access point was found and I was able to take "A" with me, which was great. The walk to the cache was via the secret jellyfish burial grounds as about 200 or so large jellyfish had washed up onto the rocks. H stayed at the top to ensure she could keep good reception and guide us to the cache (as cliffs ofen throw out the coverage) and an easy find was soon in the bag. Well done all around and needless to say, our favourite cache of the day.

Found at 12.10pm GAFF1. Good views across the bay on a clear and warm day. Got down the really hard way, but found the really easy way back up. Thanks Bateau Rouge (Red Boat!)
[Found after finally arriving and the tide was low enough but rising. Cool place for a cache but oooohhh so smelly. Its amazing Muggles swim at the beach close by.]
Look carefully between the beach and the point before walking all the way to Stinky Beach.
[T=2]
[L=2]
[Also don't be too enthusiastic when re-hiding the cache as I had to deploy the DrWevil Cache Extractor (a stick). While it was a bit more challenging I was faced with a rising tide and nearly called it off and come back later as I would have been cut off if I wasted to much time and would have had to either get back over very slippery rocks or climb the cliff.]
[TFTC]
[I really liked this one. One morning i was here and the tide was in a got to see a HUGE tanker being led out by a couple of tugs.]

I was fortunate to arrive while the tide was low. What a relief! My only fear now was breaking my neck!! There was no way I was going to contemplate a scramble down such a steep cliff so I wandered around to the north where I found an easier access point and back tracked. I liked the hidey hole, the position has obviously been carefully chosen. The cache is in great condition also.
I did enjoy having to think a little laterally about my approach and the scramble around the debris and rocks was fun also.
Thanks,
R - B

10:08 was the time this cache was found! This cache hunt was completed with Mrs Next! on our weekend away. Also, I did this while the tide was high. Couldn't let a little rising water deter me from completing my 500th cache! TN LN SL TFTC
Find #31 of 71 for the day.
There was a snorkeller very nearby but all his concentration was focused on the activity below so he didn't notice our adventures [^]

Found at 3.50 pm which was still a very low tide and a good thing as I had no problems walking in along the shore to GZ. The cliff was very wet as was the area around the cache and climbed back up the cliff via the steps and rope. I have been waiting for the leg to improve before attacking this cache by Bateau Rouge taking nothing and leaving nothing. I can now cross this one off the to do list.
Found this one without difficulty and without getting wet unlike Rob who got a wet foot. Views were pretty nifty today. Nice a clear over the still waters.
Thanks indeed.
Thanks indeed.
Stumbled over how to get there quickly and made use of the rope. Unfortunately the tide was in when we got to the bottom, and I slipped a foot in. Not to be detered I went and got the gumboots. By the time I got back, Chewin' had already grabbed the cache.
We had a great view of a very large tanker passing by.
Thanks, Robmc.

The GPS was no help near the GZ but we spied it before we gave up. We then took the short cut way back to the truck. TFTC
Found on a beautiful morning with a low tide after completing it's neighbour. TNLN TFTC. If you see the dead puffer fish you haven't gone far enough.
Found by Mary & David with GeoJo at 1815 after The Geelong End of Year Caching Event. We wondered whether we would be able to complete this cache only 2½ hiours after high tide, but we needn't have worried. A combination of calm seas and a lower than usual high tide meant we had no difficulty at all and kept our feet dry. We overshot the cache at first but quickly found it when we back-tracked. If you come across a dead seal, you've come too far! TNLN. Our thanks to Bateau Rouge.
Decided to risk an attempt today before low tide and were lucky enough not to have to get our feet wet. Overshot the mark by about 10m and were very glad to turn back after finding an ex-seal blocking our way. Soon found the cache, however with the recent rains the covering broke in half as it was removed. We stuck it back together as best we could when replacing. Thanks for bringing us here - very glad to have the assistance of a rope!
5.45pm
Found by Roma and Max.
We arrived here at an opportune time, when the tide was out.
Once again Max was delegated to be the gopher!
No fishermen today and good co-ordinates made for an easy find.
In: Mondo Figurine.
Out: Pelican Water Ball.
Thanks bateau rouge, for this unusual placement.

On my second go. A couple of weeks ago there were both fisher muggles and a high tide to contend with. Neither were here this time and the cache was an easy find once the gps decided to settle closer to the hide. A landslip next to it was noted! thanks Bateau Rouge for a good hide.
#10 of 36 finds on the Bellarine Peninsula in company with acts2youthgroup. We found this one at 1045. We followed the needle, but with still 5m to go, it was obvious that we were at the wrong altitude. We found the goat track and the rope (which I put to good use). There was a fisherman down below, but they weren't biting. Acts2YG found the cache while I was looking a little further afield. The tide wasn't fully out, and we had to do some fancy footwork in places, but managed not to get wet. However, some of those rocks are slippery! Be warned! I made no exchange. Thanks to Bateau Rouge for the cache. Cheers, dak.
#5 of 19 finds for the day in company with dak’s Emu Mob. We found the cache at 10:45. The gpr’s said 3m to go but it all looked rather steep from above, we then saw a fisherman head over the side and then lead us to the track with a rope provided, we made our way along trying not to take a swim before finding the cache. Thanks Bateau Rouge for the cache.
Found this Geocache by accident.
Never heard of Geocaching befor, I looked it up on the internet and it looks interesting, will look for more.

Found 10:20, today was the ideal day to do this cache. The sun was out and the sea was calm. The cache was found easily. There were signs of recent rock falls and fresh cracks in the cliff face, this is potentially a very dangerous location for a cache
TNLN, CSI=3, thanks Bateau Rouge.

Found this morning with Oenze. We did not find the best way down to the cache and had quite a walk along the infamous slippery rocks, strewn with jellyfish to GZ. Nice little hiding spot and then we were able to negotiate the clay stairs back up to the car. Thanks for a challenge and a good first cache. TNLN
Find # 1698 at 8:18am Accompanied by Feathertop on another trip to the Bellarine area.
We found a hard and slippery way down but once down there after finding the cache we found a way that was a lot easier. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Bateau Rouge....

Found today by Mr Emu @ 10.10 a.m. GAFF1. Talk about slippery! The path down was fine, but I thought I might end up flat-out on the rocks like one of the many washed-up jellyfish, as I skated my way along the shore, to and from the cache. Fortunately I survived without a tumble. I enjoyed a new perspective on Geelong as I filled in the log, and because I didn't have my 9-year-old geo-buddy with me today, I TNLN. I was pleased to see that all the appropriate warning boxes had been ticked in the cache description too.
A nice job on your first cache, Bateau Rouge. Thanks for the adventure!

Found this cache at 8.00am, Good hide, saw one of them muggle fishermen close by, but with a constant eye on him as I discreetly signed the log, he wasn't bothered with what we were doing. Nice climb but the FTF prize made it worth the effort of getting up early and the adventure of getting to the cache.

Found today at about 1000 (cannot remember exact time)
Lovely and slippery walk down the little track.. but we made it unscathed. MMmmmmmm Clay!!
There was a muggle fisherman there but 1SR kept and eye on him whilst VKC made the grab.
It was nice of us to allow RedPaw64 to get the FTF Only because we are too lazy to get up that early on a Sunday. (That's our excuse and we are sticking to it)
I put a few extra bits of camouflage on as for us taller cachers the cache was slightly visible.
