Sorry but another DNF on this one. Unless it has been eaten by the residents across the road. I couldn't find it.
Cheers from the Posspet Boys.
P.S. I will get my coat back one day.

The family of 4 had a really good look high and low. Nothing found. Is it still here? I don't think so.
But we did hear plenty of dogs barking.

Before looking for the cache I went in and had a look at the kittens. Lots there at the moment.... all so cute and fluffy. (Simba is to remain my only one though)
Quick find, Its not in a hole though, but I replaced where I found it.

I could hear the creatures small and great as background music to my search here.
I did not find the empty hole the previous DNFer referred to but I found the cache okay and took back a few ants to the car to accompany me south.
Thanks dylanja

A nice easy one to start the day. I could hear lots of barking as I signed the log. Thanks Dylanja.
Found after a bit of scurrying around trying not to get bitten by ants.

Rex took me for a bit of a walk out in the paddock before it settled down.Still a newbie and have to learn to trust the GPS.
Read some newbie forums suggesting to put Rex down when you get close to GZ and let him settle. Works great,
Very good advice.

Arrive just after midnight to look for this and had no luck.
Returned 8 hours later and found it in a spot I swear I looked at in the dark.
Left Lucky Black TB as I could no longer care for him ( I'm sorry)

We heard them woofing and wailing, all locked up for the weekend - it was sad. Found the cache easily though.

Well they were all woofing, growling and howling in fine form today... though it was a public holiday and the facility was closed. Didn't have any Hurtle coordinates, but found the cache easily enough. There's only so many places to look.
TNLN - Thanks Dylanja!

Saw the RSPCA sign. Listened very carefully at GZ but not a sound. They must have had their tummies full, and been all tucked up
Clear skies and TFTC Dylanja from TeamAstro [^].
See Hurtles log for the 30th July for the alternative co-ordinates
Though having said that i found them using the current cache co-ord's, so either should work!

Ended up in the paddock. Where are the Hurtle coordinates? Brought a TB along to dropp off but was unsuccessful. If there's alternative coordinates I'll give them a go another day if someone can post them.

DAY 190 OF OUR BIG NOVEMBER CHALLENGE.

An interesting and noisy spot my boyfriend got poked in the eye with a tree branch
Quick detour on the way home tonight with little Miss in tow. She already has the saying 'no cache' down pat.

Took a little while to zero in but then there it was. Early morning find to the accompaniment of dogs and a nearby security alarm. tnln tftc

My GZ was a bit off but it was still an easy find. T the fish card, left Joans return home TB. Thanks Dylanja.
Quick find I wish I could say that for another Dylanja cache that is causing me grief

Not too much of a problem today with the ants. There were some around but they didn't bother with us.
The creatures near by were very noisy.
Took TB DOMO-KUN and tuatara
Left toy soldier to guard the creatures in the cache (didn't have a creature to leave)

It was the small creatures that gave me the most grief [xx(]. Nice place to place a cache – NOT
Eventually found it but made no swaps. I did however grab the Swiss geocoin to move on. Cheers

Three of us enjoyed drive the car for the day. Thanks for organising the cache and hunt.
Swap Travel Bugs I am waiting for someone dropped the travel bugs. Took - J.Tortoise and SIGN'n'SEND Travel Bug, Left - DOMO-KUN Travel Bug and Swiss Geocoin #3. Thanks
Wasn't raining anything today, it was very dry around GZ. We could only hear one inmate. An easy find.
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Didn't see too many of the creatures great and small. They were sensibly staying out of the sun. We could hear a few of them however.
Dropped a couple of TB's here which seem to have caused some confusion, one of which I didn't get around to logging into my possession. I logged it to me but I didn't get from where it was listed as being. ????

A short search within earshot of the barking dogs. No sign of a coin, perhaps SA_Parrothead took it.
We left a spinning top coin. Thanks Dylanja.

Nice and quiet. Good place to leave the Peppers Deed pussy cat geocoin which we have been carrying around for too long in the hope we could get it to its chosen destination of the middle east. It may have to reside by the RSPCA for a while. Thanks Dylanja
Found on second attempt - still popular place with ants even though it was raining (real rain!!!!)
Butterfly also learnt the dance "Jump around after standing on ant's nest" at this cache. She can say the ground moved that day!
Cache found but no help by reading the cache notes for an identically named cache on our PDA... thought we were looking for a biscuit tin near a stone cairn! duh!
Left a Tuatara figurine; The tuatara is a living fossil found only in New Zealand, also known as a dinosaur survivor. It's name translates to "spiny back"
Thanks for the fun on a hot day!

A quick find by Glenn and Sophie.
The natives were restless, must have been lunchtime.
After logging the cache we went for a visit to see the inmates.

Mrs K did a dance around the ants at this one and retrieved the cache. Animals were kicking up quite a noise today - perhaps they don't like the rain? Took 2 Kangaroos TB and left a kitten magnet and a klem bear. Thanks Dylanja.
Fairly quick find with the updated coordinates, Lots of ants around where I parked as well. Left a two kangaroos TB found in Perth last week, thanks Dylanja.
We used the alternative co-ords and it took us straight to the cache. Found at 3.25pm.
Took dog and left a pig.

I've driven past this location 6 times in the last 4 days and didn't have time to stop until now. once I parked within 37 metres from GZ my GPS would turn on, thats strange I only put 2 new batteries in this morning! I opened the back and found it empty, This shouldn't be that hard to find, after 5 minutes I found it, only to find sigfried was here not 10 minutes ago.
TNLN
Thanks Dylanja only 2 more of your caches to find now.

Unlike Freddos' visit for me this was a very quick and peaceful exercise. Called in since I was across the road at a wreckers getting some parts. Cache was in the very first spot I looked.
But I did still have to stand in the bull ants nest
TNLNSL, Cheers

Used the Hurtle co-ords to find the cache. It is only a few meters but it is necessary.
Plenty of aural evidence of the fecund nature of the canine.
Meanwhile there was this magpie with hugely enlarged testes who wanted to drill a hole in my cranium.
The cache hunt went something like this. Swoop snap, look, swoop snap, peer. Swoop snap, ah-ha. Swoop snap, gather. Swoop snap, log. Swoop snap, swap. Swoop snap, hide.
Did I mention that to find the cache you need to stand in the middle of a bull ants nest as well.
Somehow it is all very appropriate.

Nice easy find on a quick outing to break the withdrawal from not having found a cache in a little while! Thanks!
The "inmates" across the road were quiet today - later in the day, maybe feeding time?
Ended up using TeamHurtle's co-ordinates as we, too, found ourselves in the paddock!
Took: eraser and toy dog
Left: soft toy lamb and soft toy dog

Glad others ended up in the paddock to, if I had seen the second set of coordinates before having a go I might of been more successful. Anyway all was not lost, my Mum ended up taking home a 9 month old cat called Charlie from across the road.
Another slight detour whilst out and about.
Very quiet here today....
TNLNSL
Thanks
I was in the paddock, try the above co-ords, not that it will make a lot of difference, except to save the bush foliage.

The 2 hour rule applied to this one. It hadn't been found inside 2 hours by hurtle or stanley's, so it was fair game for me
Got home from training/pub at 21:45, cache found at 22:00 back home at 22:10
Found with the aid of a small torch and some caching knowledge. All was quiet across the road though tonight
Took geocoin. might shift it onto the pub lunch or melbourne, which ever comes first
