At GZ it was a bit challenging to take the cache. We logged it and made our lunch few meter from GZ. The view is amazing. On the top of that we have seen few travelling whales.
The cache was a little bit wet. Out TB.

Now to get out of here! Found a much easier way out without having to get scratched by the native flora. I would recommend heading a bit further north of the resting seat and enter from where there is more of a clearing to avoid crawling and bashing your way through the thick scrub. Onto to the track and headed back to the shack for breakfast. A lovely walk along the Coastal Track. Must do the full trail one day. TFTC. #428
I had to scratch around to find the cache, while the shrubs scratched back.
Thanks for the cache.
After finding the cache followed our noses out. Got a bit lost. Gosh its thick scrub!
Crazy bush bashing...left scratches on my skin.

The day started off raining but it soon cleared up, along the way one of us nearly stepped on a black snake, so we were extra cautious.
At GZ it didn't take too long before the cache was spotted. Contents dry and all well. TFTC
We did not find it after two attempt on 28/29 December 2013, We Do not know if still there or is very very hide on the bush, we really spent a while and no luck.
We hope someone report it still ok, I'm wonder if geocaching's owner can verify it.!
Thanks

It was further than we thought. Then the last 10m was interesting. My eye will recall the experience for a while. The view; spectacular, it was well worth it.
As we enjoyed the tour along the pacific drive so much we decided to do it again.
Thanks for the amazing first cache of the day. It took us a while to get there as we stopped many times to enjoy the views of the ocean.
A blue ribbon is added.

RECOMMEND DOING THESE CACHES IN THE ROYAL NATIONAL PARK, ALL THE WALKS ARE GREAT, FANTASTIC EXERCISE & GREAT VIEWS THROUGHOUT THE PARK.
Beautiful views from nearby, so thanks Frippy
With the cache duties completed I headed back to camp and completed the Bundeena to Otford walk - well worth doing.
Today, bit lazy, sleep in, and do one cache not too far away from home. Just relax.
This cache is only 9.4km from our home location, the zigzag in the Royal National Park makes it a 22.2km drive - one way. The usual Australian efficiency - this time, the excuse is fair, as it's a National Park, which we enjoy! So RockSandra, Suparki12 and The Arkaroo came from Garie, through little Garie and went further to little Era, the cache on the way. A walk, we had done some times already - and also by boat off shore - from where it would be nice to land in the little beaches, I tell you!
Reading the recent logs, I almost put my shoes on for that little walk. However, the weather and everything was so nice that I took the risk to go barefoot, even the last meters being a bit snaky. What can be worse than the oyster farms of the On Yer' Boar series in the George River. No bindees either.
Into the dense bush, barefoot and dressed with a T-shirt - scratching gently the arms. At times, it was better to crawl - hahaha, no dirt no fun! First I traversed the dense bush, then back again a different way, looking under it again and again from a bilby's view. Suparki12 started crawling as well while RockSandra was already down to the next beach. Back to the place I entered to deposit the Pentax K20 in order to perform a more detailed search. Really, hasn't been a bushfire here since a while! Here it is, Suparki12 said - you are kidding! I made my way there and indeed, we could see it but not really reach it, as the overgrowth was heavy. Back to the base camp, I returned with camera and the cacher bag for a happy log well hidden in the bush. Must have been a muggle area here, we said, but now it's pretty quiet.
A few good photo shots along the path, down to little Era, the Aboriginal midden, back to Garie, a nice swim out ... that's it! Happy to be here, thanks, mate!
The Arkaroo - who loves the mountains and the waters.

On the way back I stopped in at Garie and followed the track beside the beach. I lost the track somewhere amongst the shacks so took the direct route straight up the hill.
The cache is in good nick.
With a cool breeze, dusky twilight and the roar of the sea, it really was the place to be this evening.
Nice one Frippy.

Found this tricky cache after some head scratching....had to get on hands and knees to find it.
I activated my Great Southern Land Geocoin and released two other adventurous travellers as well.

Great views from up here. Took coin & TB, left TB.

Got to the top of the hill on the way to the camp site, cranked up the GPS and was pleasantly surprised to find a cache only 75m away. It was dark, and the shrubbery looked less than inviting but off we went in search of the cache. The cache soon appeared, and we were once again on our way to our campsite.
Took the Carrion Crow GC and the Car TB.
thanks for the cache Frippy!
best wishes,

Great day for a walk, warm and sunny, I spotted a Red Belly Black Snake on the track whilst walking up the hill, so watch out, it's summer again!!
I dropped off a few Coins and Bugs and found a rather interesting magazine in the cache, something along the lines of "Nude Monthly" that a unnamed cacher dropped off.
I took this out just incase the next finder is a Geokid...
I also grabbed the camera from the cache as it was full, I will get them processed and upload the pictures soon.
Cheers

Started my walk at Garie Beach and this was first on the list of what turned out to be a 4 1/2 hour walk talking in a loop of the Palm Forest. The walk was fantastic so I'm glad the presence of a cache gave me the motivation.
Left a bug but forgot to note its number. Owner notified so it should appear soon.

I was supposed to be right on top of it by GPSr however, No luck. Got down on hands and knees to view through the scrub but could not pick it up. Time was running out (and had to catch up to the others) so will try next time past here.
Great to see then new building at Garie.
I admit I do not like searching in such scrub...
THX for pointing to that hill.

I always marvel at the small cottages that cover the headlands just south of here. Probably only half showed any life with people hanging around them.
Back to the cache, which again took too long to find. GZ had me within 2m of GZ and I still couldnt see it. Finally all was revealled. TNLN Thanks.

Left Wise Old Owl TB for the next finder.
Thanks Frippy for giving us a reason to experience this place.

So after hoisting the anchor, the wench and the old sea dog set sail in search of treasure. With a fresh north easter behind us we reached a spot where the X under the palm trees could be seen. Putting ashore we encountered exotic natives dressed (barely) in some native garment called Wicked Weasel. I proposed I should stay and try and parley with the native wenches. Unfortunately I was over ruled and set off to climb a mountain whose peak disappeared into the clouds. On reaching the summit the wind had cleared the clouds and 360 degree panoramic views revealed themselves much like the native wenches I was not allowed to parley with. The treasure was soon revealed just like those wenches waving to us back on the beach.
Fantastic location with great views and friendly natives. That’s not including the old guy who waved at us while wearing budgie smugglers and painting his shack.
