Came past here again today, on my mountain bike this time, and did another extended search of the entire area, but failed to turn up anything.

Looks like there is a problem with this cache, so until I can check or replace it I'll disable it for now.

This was meant to be my last cache for the day, after a 20km hike. Well the rest under the trees was appreciated, but I spent over an hour searching for the cache with no success. Even the clue didn't really narrow it down much for me, but I'll be back. Thanks for the rest in the shade.

3 pm. Diverted off the Bibblemun to find this one. Have often been past this spot on the pushbike enroute to some great rides out behind the lake. Cloudy day - GPS all over the place, but the hint got us there. Took the 2003 Rugby World cup keyring and left a U-bolt. T4TH

I was on my way to a new cache and forgot about this one - I checked and had it stored on the GPSr so I nabbed on the way to "Destination Unknown"

Good caching concept, geo aviators will love it. The strip needs to be long as trees, terrain and rough surface especially when wet as well as turbulent wind will perturb aircraft TO performance. Found with yambo and pheobe the geo dog.

Lovely walk with nad069 on a nice day. Phoebe the geodog found the 800 metres just a bit far for old dogs with a sore paw, but staying home would have been far worse.

There is rather a lot of runway for a little Cessna, isn't there! And why the railway container bogeys got left here is also a mystery...

We walked up to this one and, while PBL followed the arrow, MBL found a nice place to sit, choosing a spot with a suspicious-looking pile under it, concealing a plastic box!
"Sorry!" came the cry. We were glad that someone said it was a difficult find, which cancelled out our usual jinx with caches that have things like "should not be too hard to find" in the description!

No swaps, and then onwards to Tee!

We must have been following Bearleft. Only 2 hours behind them. There are a few of these strips around the place and we have been thinking of placing one near Jarradale. First one in gets the cache listing.
We didnt have a lot of spare time when we arrived as it was nearing sunset but we were impressed by the nature of the landing strip. Its larger than we expected. Finding the cache was easy but it did take a while for the GPS to lead us there. The first placing was about 30m from the final location wiht it slowly counting down until it read 4m. The tree cover and hills made it impossible to get a quick reading. Took the Stamp and added the Dice card game.

Had to wait for Oznaturist to clear the runway, before making an easy find. An interesting spot, I'm thinking perhaps a left over WW2 strip, certainly oversize for CALMs aircraft.

VH-FTF, on final to runway 090, gear down and welded. Saw this while checking the email in Brissy, jumped off the plane yesterday and raced up the hill, lucky I was ahead of schedule. I was departing the terminal just as another plane was landing. Havent had a FTF in the metro for awhile, thanks for the hunt and the nice walk in the bush. GPS a bit patchy under the trees, but located quickly. TNLN

Decided to take a drive up the hill after work today and give this a go. So pleased that i did because the walk in is very nice, i arrived at the gate about 4.30 and passed a couple of Roos who barely moved as i strolled past them, i was amazed too, at just how quiet it was, between birdsong it was almost total silence.
Arriving at GZ my GPS too, got a bit wobbly under the trees, and it took me quite awhile to locate the cache (didnt decrypt the clue)

Half an hour later, i was delighted to record my 50th find, wasnt the FTF today, but that didnt matter, a very enjoyable cache, thank you.

Took the stubbie holder and left a stamp (i think it stamps "excellent")

PS...I returned the cache exactly where i found it, quite a hard find i thought, but i am still quite new to this...
