As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
looks like its gone walkies again

I didn't have any luck with this one. I'm pretty sure I have the correct co-ordinates, but still wasn't sure at GZ...
I have the final co-ordinates, but it looked a little too close for comfort to attempt shortly after 5pm during rush hour...
This puzzle was great, had us going everywhere.
Found the key OK and off to the final.
Final all good and got to visit another new area.
Thanks for the fun

In the Waikato today to collect a bunch of solved puzzle caches. Enjoyed filling in the crossword at home, then no trouble finding the waypoint and the Final today. Thanks.

Looked a hard task at first, but took the time while we were in the gardens to get this puzzle cache done.
Did the first part on arrival at the gardens this morning and then did the puzzle while recovering. Easy find. TFTC
Found the final lying on the ground, must have fallen down again - {wind?) - so put it back up in secure nook. TFTC
Nice easy find today (unlike goobers getting cross one, darn thing i still cant find). found the final lying on the ground. must have fallen down so put it back up . TFTC
Another prickly tree! Still have thorns from yesterdays geocaching adventure. Nice cache. TFTC
Well, has this one been giving us the run-around or what? Our biggest handicap has been one blind-billy leading another. We've had to revisit our coordinates on a number of times, mainly due to an inability to read the small figures. However, good things come to those who wait and we've CRACKED IT!
Took a few trips to get this one done. Had the puzzle solved for a while but everytime I visited GZ, there were either too many muggles or the HCC were mowing the lawns! Got it in the end TFTC. The micro was a little disappointing though, was hoping for somewhere I could drop/grab a TB or 2. No worries though. Just my 2c

This puzzle has been on our solved/dnf list for far too long, so when we spotted that it had been replaced we thought we must be quick to find before it gets muggled again!! The cache was one of the least "hidden" caches we have come across, very exposed to muggle discovery, i'm not sure if it was supposed to be so open and easy to find.
TNLN TFTC!!!

Found it after trying to find it when it had disappeared. Managed to get back today to finish the cache off. cache is a bit exposed. Hope it will be ok. TFTC
This cache has been one of the longest caches for me to find after the fifth hold up/attempt I finally found it what a relief. I enjoyed using the site to complete the cache puzzle and have used it on many other occasions since. TFTC
Enjoyed the puzzle! Found the micro and final cache nice and easily. We replaced the final cache where we found it, but perhaps it's a bit exposed?
TFTC!

Found micro no worries but could not track down the final. A nice quite day so spent a long time looking. Puzzle was fun especially with nice slow dial up connection.
Took a study break to go searching caches around the hamilton gardens. Solved crossword and visited waypoint to get location but was not able to come up with the cache Hope its all ok. Maybe just our eyes from looking at too many books..............
Did the crossword back in Chch. Found WP easily. Spent a lot of time looking for cache (before and after decoding hint), but to no avail.
Took a few tries to find the cache but got it eventually...

Revisited this cache this afternoon, dropped off the Poker challenge geocoin, and picked up GSV Bird Flu traveller & the Jeep.
I always wondered what was down that road.
With Memory Map, the crossword was done quickly (especially since I cheated and didn't do all of it). Found out that the position format I used on this software was different to what I used on the GPS, so was a useful exercise for discovering and correcting this error alone!
Both the micro and the final cache were easy finds.

At long last we have found this one, 3 visits later and a corrected coordinate from the cross-word. In this case today an easy find, the kids where pleased its now out of the way after all these months

The micro cache container: the small ring onto the large ring is starting to rust. The small ring gave way from the swivel. The micro cache is at present attached to a piece of insulating wire I found on the ground which is also partially rusted. The swivel is sitting on the peg

Solved the CROSSword and the cache location without a CROSS word between us. A peaceful location. TFTC
Solved before coming up here, and a quick find in the fading light. Cheers Gav [2106]
Great puzzle.
Solved the crossword at home so it was nice to finally get here and grab the cache.

Smoke from the cool store fire made this less pleasurable than it should have been.

This was a fun puzzle! Once figured out the key to the crossword all flowed nicely, easy find at micro and then at GZ. TNLN, thanks for the challenge!
The Freezer Mice strike again!
Figured out the puzzle mid last week, but had to wait for working weekend to be completed before going out and grabbing the actual cache.
Nice easy find to boot.
Thanks for yet another neat puzzle.

We solved the crossword a few days ago, and headed out to find the cache along with a few others this morning. Mrs geocooley has spent some time as a Girl Guide at the nearby Hardy Traing Center so was familiar with the area.
Quick easy find. A thoroughly enjoyable cache.

After a few days looking for different caches around here this one was a good find. TNLNSL TFTC
Dropped in as we were passing by, a nice spot to eat our lunch and drop off a Travel Bug, Green Machine-In A Race from Australia to South Dakota,USA.
Having just done Getting Cross #1, the micro cache was a very quick find.

5.00pm. Had a bit of help with the puzzle. Then a nice easy find. Thank you. David & Noeline
Puzzle solved during lunchtime and since it was such a lovely day decided to look on way home. Location very quiet, found easily once I looked in the right spot. Funny that?
After getting help from Taggart got this one done.
Out keyring and in butterfly. I would love to go rabbit shooting here as there are heaps

Puzzle solved some time ago and waiting in the file. On a trip up to Auckland we spotted a likely place from the highway, "ooooh, that might be the Goober place?" so a quick detour soon proved us right. A nice little spot and another enjoyable cache puzzle. TFTC.
What a shame its the last day of my holidays-after a productive weekend caching over Rotorua way.
Found a tool where you are able to "dial up" the answers so it took only 10 mins to figure out the crossword.
Thanks for the challenge

Another excellent puzzle with a GPS theme. GZ is in a spot you see a lot when driving by but never normally get to visit.
Many thanks
Sorry for the late log. Just realised today (10/9/07)when looking at our closest list that we found cache this 3 weeks ago but had forgotten to log it online.

Quite enjoyed the first of these ones and this one too. A very clever way of getting the clues to the puzzle. No problem to get the key and carry on to the final.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
A rather interesting puzzle. Didn't have it on the radar until after we left home and then one of the team completed it as we drove along. Liked the final location, this area certainly has developed over the years. TFTC
found on the way home. another car already steamed up at 5pm at end. (not mine!) found micro, then continued on to cache. nice area, not usually seen from cache side. took horse figure, left kvi keyring. Thanks for the cache.
Another interesting puzzle from the masters of puzzles! First glance at the end of the day made the butterfly want to put it aside. But the penny dropped and the puzzle was quickly completed.
A great little cache; the hardest part was avoiding attracting the attention of amorous couples parked up nearby when attempting a FTF at 10.30pm... popular spot indeed.
Thanks for the fun.
In our rush we left the swaps and trackables at home. Will have to return sometime......
