Thought we would tackle this one tonight, after parking up the street and finding a little walkway we were blown away with the view. It's a very steep hill side but the view makes it worth it, found it very quickly. The tin is damaged though so the lid doesn't go on. Could use some maintenance TFTC!
Well done hiding it. We found it. The lid has broken off the holder, but if you put it on back to front it clips and stays shut. Thankyou
after playing a quick game of memory, I was able to find the cache. well hidden, thanks for the cache
Ducked down the hill and carefully checked the possible spot to grab the find after a few minutes. Thanks DISK for placing Half Exposed for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 16:03 on 26/9/2023.This is find number 7688 for me.
Definitely recommend approaching from the top! Love the hint, gave me a giggle. TFTC.
good hike to find it, container looks a little rough, might need to be replaced
I had to drop one of the Famous IV at the Aquadome this morning and pick her up at 4 so a day of collecting caches in the northern suburbs was the way to fill time. More than 30 caches were found before I got sick of looking and retired to the Old Spot Hotel for a few beers (although the Red Lion, the Midway and the Elizabeth Tavern were tempting I gave them a miss). Highlight of the day was the walk through the beautiful Dead Man’s Pass. Plenty of good hides but had to give up on some or not start due to friendly muggles. I can recommend the schnitzel at Murray’s BBQ and Beer in Gawler. Thanks to all cache owners in this part of the world…every time I come up this way there are new streets and suburbs but it was good to see there is still some canola, broad beans and oats being grown - however I don’t think that will happen for too much longer. I debated whether going from the top down or the bottom up would be easier. I chose bottom up and not sure it was the better option.
Spent a long time looking under almost every rock around the location, last find logged was over 7 months ago. May of been washed away.
I came down from the top which looked easier than coming up the hill.
A quick find.

I visited this one some time ago, and it was absent at that time. I saw it had been replaced so stopped by here again today. Quickly found and signed, and returned from whence it came. Thanks for the cache and ongoing maintenance DISK.
Three caches in Gawler today between the showers.
This one isn’t nearly as intimidating as the description might have you believe. Park above, shortish walk, not a hard find.
As I walked back to the car, a very young girl with her dad were both about to launch themselves down the hill on bicycles.
Thanks again DISK.

Today I decided to head out for a days caching with it being a public holiday and not having anything else to do. I find Australia Day to be a pointless day off if not attached to a weekend, change the date and make it always be attached to a weekend.
It was quite a warm day which didn’t hinder my 15000 step count but made for thirsty work.
Found 40 caches for the day, very productive. Some great hides today in Gawler and Nuriootpa. Still so many to come back for, need to get some puzzles solved.
Thankfully no snakes spied today.
Finished the day off with a lovely Zambreros in Gawler on the way home.
My appreciative thanks to all the COs for the wonderful hides.
Nice quick find here TFTC DISK

Started from the bottom of the hill, which in retrospect was not the best decision as I have a crook knee (pseudogout). This might have added an extra half or full star. Got there and back without further injury. Thanks DISK for the challenge.

Out with some pleasant caching with hevwalker.
We were heading North to end up at the International Geocaching Day at Gawler.
An easy park in suburia and we both knew where to walk, up...
We both stopped about halfway and spotted an obvious spot.
Nice views from here, thanks for the cache and the heart pumping walk, DISK.

There's some Old Gentleman Caches around Gawler and this one was found [minus a log book, so i signed a piece of a shopper-docket as a makeshift/temporary log] at 16:15 on Sat 15 Aug 2020.
Nice views here indeed. The flashy houses are also nice
Re-hid so the rain won't affect this one, that's missing it's lid. [Nice camo on the container too ]

Found. But nothing left except a damp log on tucked away. Did our best to cover it. Tyftc.
Found this on a fab spring evening during a post-dinner stroll with TheBear. Great view from here. Very easy to find. TFTC.
On International Geocaching Day, it was a day of geocaching centering around Gawler and the associated celebratory event held at lunch. I woke up early to complete the 5 km Parkrun in Gawler, which was a new location for me, and then I met up with gridge98 to drive around the various caches in the vicinity. After a few geocache finds in central Gawler including Clonlea Park, we then completed a few mini power trails such as the serenity series and Meat Trail.
After lunch, I went solo to continue solving multi-caches and collecting some older 2007 caches in Gawler. As it got dark, I drove along the Gawler - One Tree Hill Road to collect the intermittent caches along there, to arrive home just after dark to discover the whole blocks had no power for another few hours. A nice day out and finding in good weather.
Nice views as I approached from the top to reach GZ. Once there, there was only one spot where the cache could be, although interesting to see such a small cache under such a large rock. Thanks DISK.
