Nice, quick historical multi to chalk up while on a Landy's Field lunch break.
Cache and log still in good condition. Thanks!

A very quick and easy offset multi and super quick park and grab.
TFTC it’s a very interesting industrial area indeed!

Easy solve, took a bit to find it but succeeded in the end. 26/6/23 pika & nini
A quick, enjoyable multi worked out before and found after a trip to Landy Field. As per the description, the cache was reachable from the footpath. Enjoyed learning more about the history of the area too. Thanks for the cache.

I was looking for a multi cache to help fill a space in my geocaching calendar today, and drew a blank at the first spot we tried. This brought us to the old industrial part of Geelong down near the river. I find this sort of history fascinating and was pleased to find it out on display outside the factory. The cache was found not far away and because we were there well after usual working hours I wasn’t worried about Muggles interrupting me in the hunt.
Thanks for the nice quick multi. We had a look at the item at the starting location found the required info then had a beer at little creatures while we worked out the final. Thanks for sharing this bit of local history with us. Apologies on the late log I’m just catching up on the holiday caches
I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and take a break from sitting in front of the computer to collect a couple of smiley faces.
A nice simple multi to kick start the mini adventure, thank you Cache in good condition and ready for it's next visitor.

Everyone loves a Ripping Good Yarn. My old man could spin one with the best of them.
No one was ever sure if he was on the level or not. A master of the poker face!

At 9am Thursday morning Rex and I got back to Shepp[|)] after driving all night to get home[|)][|)] from 6 days away near Mildura Then today, for something different we headed for Geelong to attend 2 events
We were both still tired when we left for this trip[|)][|)][|)] so the weekend was a slow one[^][|)][^][^][^]
Saturday's tally was 2 events attended: a CITO[^][^] and a debrief afterwards, an adv lab completed and 3 caches found[^][^]
After our 1st ever Airbnb booking on Saturday night[^][|)][^] where we had a good sleep, Rex and I spent almost 2 hours at Torquay Beach where he did the usual chasing seagulls and swimming after his ball
Sunday's tally was 4 caches found and 2 DNFs
Got to love caching on Sunday night after 8pm as it is nice and quiet[^][:X][^]
I do like history lessons[^] and that is one thing that multis are good at![^][^]
Gathered the info[^][^], drove to GZ and then made a quick find of the cache and I am so glad that it was DRY!
Read Posums' log if you are wondering why dry is relevant!

**A quick cache run to Geelong**
Out and about making the most of the sunshine on a sunny but cool winters day.
Grabbed a coffee nearby and then headed off to grab a couple of caches and some photos. A nice straight forward multi. Cache was found quickly with good co-ords.
Thank you vp4 for highlighting this area and for adding this cache to my real-life treasure hunt. Appreciate your efforts.

We were in Geelong today and wanted to increase our finds of Multi caches, so we thought this one was nearby and went to see how we would go.
We parked nearby and obtained the information we needed to make the calculations for GZ.
We love seeing old machinery, and this one is in pretty good condition considering its age.
Once we had calculated GZ, we decided to wander to GZ and once there, we looked around for a few minutes before finding the cache.
The cache is in good condition. Thank you for this cache vp4.

Great history here (and an easy multi). We drove to GZ and had lots of laughter - Posums can tell you why
Today I teamed up with Posums for a day of caching fun in Geelong. Lots of caches, laughs and fun. Thanks to all the cache owners who placed these fabulous containers for us to find.

Headed down to to Geelong for another day of laughs, fun and of course hopefully finding a few caches.
Geelong has put on another great day of weather for us to be out and about touring the town.
I was meeting up with GemmaSistema for the day and I was the designated driver and Gemma was the navigator and co pilot.
After finishing a section of the rail trail, the marathon around the Eastern Cemetery and the Eastern Park and Botanical Gardens it was time to find a few more random caches.
We pulled up out the front of WP1 and I read out the name and I said I have heard of them they are still around.
We soon worked out the coords and headed off to GZ.
A mini bus had pulled up right out the front of GZ and a group of blokes got out and that’s where the story begins.
We waited for them to move on and when we arrived at GZ we realised why they stopped there.
It was a loo stop right at GZ.
I was the lucky one who had to reach in and grab the wet cache.
Lots of hand sanitizer was soon used when I got back to the Geowagon.
Thanks vp4 TFTC.

Not so many muggles on a Sunday but still had to be careful. Tftc & history lesson
Found the machine and gathered the required information and worked the formula for the final coords. Parked nearby and missed the container in the first place we looked. Continued to search around and the Rebel Acts delighted in walking up and checking where I had looked first to find the cache. "Amateur" is still ringing in my ears.
It is that time of year for SKI Pair when we say goodbye to our Gippsland area and set off to do some travelling for an extended period of time. After last year when Covid restrictions saw us spent all of winter at home for the first time in many years e were looking forward to getting away again. Now overseas travel is still definitely out of the question so we decided to try doing some in Victoria before heading north. Mrs SKI has some loose connections with Geelong, so we decided to give the area a try and hope that the weather is kind.
After talking to Rebel Acts he decided that wasn't a bad idea and decided to join us for a few days of serious caching. Today was our first day, so after arrival we set off to see what we could see and find.

**Find #4718**
**Multi Find #399**
I headed to Geelong late this afternoon with Steve to attempt a night cache in addition to a few other caches that were of interest to us. I had no idea that there was a boutique brewery here. I made a mental note to return for a visit there. Some interesting history here and then a short distance away, Steve made the find without being spotted by any muggles.

*Cache find # 11714.*
This afternoon I head around to Geelong town with Mark with a few targets in our sights.
Our next target was a night cache but it was still a little early so stopped to have a look at some multis on the way.
We weren’t sure how we would go on this one as the last log was a DNF but we gave it ago anyway.
After the information was gathered we soon had our next location to visit, we arrived and I checked what I thought would be an obvious spot and sure enough, that’s where I found the cache.

No luck for us today. Will have to try again next time we are down in Geelong. Thanks anyway.
Thank you for showing this history, and for placing a cache with excellent co-ords. SL TFTC
Was out with the RedGeoDevil to collect some cache materials of our own and was going right past this one and just had to get the mighty smile face. Easy maths at WP1 and as we headed to GZ I vaguely remembered searching for this one with no success a little while back. Lots of Muggles walking about on Saturday morning but that was no problem for us despite my last attempt woes we found the cache quickly in the obvious spot. Thanks for the cool Multi. TFG5
A very easy first stop for the numbers, and then cache was soon in hand, signed and returned.

It is always good to be able to find a nice little off set multi cache. The numbers needed were easy enough to work out and we were off on the hunt with ilook4geo. We soon found the container and wrote both names on the log. All was then put back into place and we were on our way agaig. Thanks go to vp4 for placing this cache.
Dropped car off for a service and needed to walk to wOrk. Decided to try and keep up a cache streak (only a few days so far but that’s really good for me). Quick find in obvious spot at GZ. Now can I get to work in 15 minutes... TFTC
Day 2 of our epic trek to the St Arnaud Mega via Geelong. As you do.
The constant was my travel companion for the entire trip, - Anymules. but we were joined by almost local cacher Bushfire for a lot of the escapades
Having arrived in Geelong last night we had started visiting waypoints for the numerous multi caches and epic multi stage mysteries.[:o)] Already had some started last visit. Wonder if we will get to finish any this time. Whilst doing that we managed to actually find these as we motored about!
Away from the surveillance cameras but near some open businesses that had to be watched. In the end after a bit of a scratch about it was a pretty quick find in the logical spot for a hide.
**Thanks vp4 for this cache. **

A Long time ago Sims_family mum and the kids attempted this one and even though mum actually could see the cache the tree and its branches where too prickly for her so she aborted the find. Tonight Dad was nearby for work and decided it would be our streak find for the day.
So after pulling up near GZ I jumped out and grabbed the cache quickly and easily without and prickling from the tree. Not sure what all the fuss was about
thank you VP4 for the cache

We haven’t cached much this year, but with a weekend free of kids parties, play dates or commitments and some good weather it was time to get out and do some caching.
Despite me, Mr Plow, having a nasty cold, there was no way I was going to spend another weekend close to home.
Yesterday we ventured down to Western Port for some caching and today we decided to head Geelong way.
The kids packed their bathers, so only a few caches were going to be on the agenda today after a big caching day yesterday.
In all we managed four quality caches today.
We like historic areas and so we chose this one to start the day with. Lots of beautiful old buildings round this part of town.
Thanks for the multi vp4 - it was a nice easy one- in a lovely historic area!

This was a nice quick find whilst we were in the area after attending a number of events yesterday. Thanks for the cache.
In the area for the Christmas events, so taking the opportunity with omegaman1971 to do some of the local hides inbetween. As all the events were in different areas, it gave a variety of finds by different owners. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the day. While we met a few other teams along the way, we had some fun and laughs along the way.
It didn't take long to come up with what was needed to make this quick find.
Thanks vp4 for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

Thirty caches found today, I was able to pick this one up mid-morning. The weather was much cooler than the last few days which made for a nice day out in G-Town. It was about time I cleaned up some of these multi caches. Need to come back for a beer. Thanks for the cache vp4.

As somebody who likes sewing, it’s hard not to take fabric for granted. How impressive it must have been when it was first produced! I found the information required to calculated GZ quickly here, but it took a bit longer to locate the cache at GZ. It was where I thought it would be, I just didn’t count on having to move some tools and rubbish off the top. A great cache regardless! TFTC vp4
Took me two goes to find this one. First trip was in the dark and I was a single digit out on my late night maths, but still close enough that I shouldve found it. A return trip on Grand Final day in a second attempt to close out my multi month challenge (only 3 more to go after this and only a day and a half to get them). Had to don the cloak of invisibility at GZ to disguise myself from muggle observation and finally made the find on a cache that I shouldve found a lot easier than that! Thanks for the placement, a good excuse to drop in across the road for a quiet ale....
It was interesting to observe the manufacturing history here and to see some household names. After noting the information it was on to GZ and a quick find on this quiet Saturday.
Thanks to vp4 for placing this cache.

On a road trip with kenare, kenbryl and muggle Annie. We needed to find this one to fill in a box on our D/T chart. Luckily we got the numbers and found the cache muggle free. Cigc. Tftc
Muggle Annie, kenare, Sean.75 and I came down to Geelong today for lots of laughs and some caching. This was the 1st on the list. Surprisingly we didn't stuff up any numbers and we found the cache in no time at all. Tftc
Sean.75, Kenbryl, Muggle Annie and I hit the road and headed south. After lots of laughs along the way we made this our first stop. After working out some numbers (possibly the first ever that we didn't stuff up numbers, lol) we were soon at Gz where a muggle free find ensued. Tftc
This was an interesting little multi that we enjoyed doing - nice piece of old machinery with informative plaque. Numbers done and then to GZ where we sure had to use stealth and patience this am but we were rewarded with a smiley. Good cache that was well planned and implemented.

Catching up on a couple of late forgotten logs from a few days away in Geelong for a wedding and before heading for home to collect the kids we decided to grab a cache or two. We soon had the required numbers and then set off to search for the cache, after a short search we soon had the cache container in hand, apologies vp4 for the late log, thanks for the simple little multi and hide.
How often have I crossed Swanston Street and never ventured this far along it. A fascinating piece of local history here which soon revealed some coords. Thanks for the cache and the history vp4
Date night with hubby. I like coming to this establishment even if it is a little hipster. After tea I said let's go check my numbers for the multi because I couldn't find it last time.
Ah yep.. 1 number out, makes about 100 metres difference. I could make 1,000 excuses but really, I just muffed it the first go round.
So now at the right GZ, I donned some gloves (I like to be safe, and I'm a wuss) dug around a little and there it was! In the obvious spot.
Thanks for clearing another day on the calendar

It's been way too long since I have attempted any multis. The newly published challenge cache, was the motivation I needed. It requires a certain amount of found multis. While I'm not that far away from the required total, I still need a fair few to qualify. Seeing as I was in town this morning, this was the closest hide. I remember working here when it was a mill. A whole 4 days, I absolutely hated it. Anyhow, back to the reason I am here.
Once a suitable parking spot was found, I head to WP1. A quick pic and then back to the car. I soon had a set of co-ords, so off I headed to GZ. There were muggles galore today, so I had to time my retrieval. Just about to dive in when a tow truck pulls up with a car on the back. He then lowers it down and a handful of workers come out from the nearby business.... [B)] Luckily they went to the back of the car and started pushing it up the driveway. That was my chance, went straight in and luckily it was a quick find. Thanks for a painless multi, with a nice bit of history as well. TFTC vp4

this cache summed up my day today. time wasted. I worked out the numbers easily enough just couldn't get my hands on the cache
I enjoyed lunch at the little creatures brewery today and as we were getting ready to leave I noticed this nearby hide. So while the kids were getting loaded into the car I quickly ducked out to make the calculations and with GZ quite convenient the quick hide as well. Thanks for the cache.
MaggieDot and I headed out on a wet and miserable day to do a little bit of caching while getting out of the car as little as possible. After a quick trip to get a photo of the information, we worked out where to go and drove there (to be fair it was really raining). Dodging the torrent of water bypassing a clogged street drain it was a quick find. Cache in good condition. TFTC.
Out with AutumnTree on a wet spring day... She sent me out into the rain to collect the required information and then we sat in the dry car to calculate the GZ. It was bucketing down so we drove and parked as close as we possibly could... it was muggle central and we were failing at looking inconspicuous as why on earth would we be out in the rain?! Muggles finally cleared and AutumnTree made the find.

A great informative cache that filled in a time between meeting friends.
I am still pulling the needles out of by fingers - those trees are like built to keep muggle fingers from touching the cache. My friends wondered what happened to my hands..... I explained and they just looked at me...........[:o)][:o)]

Did the math for this one about a month ago, finally got the chance to make the find on a night caching trip with Erinrobnick. Thank you!
Found after Little Athletics on a Saturday. Pulled up to GZ and wondered if we were in the right place?! Yeah, we were. Picked up tb to perform repairs. I remember when the mill was in operation. TFTC.
Figured out coords a few days ago before sport but didn't have time to find GZ! After a successful morning with ZILCH, I peddled up to extremely busy GZ and looked with no success, sat down to have a look at the GOS and then wondered back around to GZ, almost instantly a possible location was found but had to wait out all the muggles ( one imperticular worker was looking at me suspiciously from across the road) after a short while, cache was found and log was signed, as SaintCache had already mentioned, TB has nothing attached to it. I logged it but not take it.

We were out on a caching run today with McLookers, ST37E, Wozzle68 and Tomstache. We set ourselves the personal challenge of trying to find as many multis as we could in one day. We set off from Ballarat and headed into the multi rich territory that is Geelong. We had done our homework on as many as we could before hand and chose multis that we thought would be quick and achievable. It was crazy day that started in Ballarat at 6.30am and didn't finish until late in the evening.
A nice quick offset. ST37E made the grab once again.

On a mission today to find 31 Multi-caches to complete a unofficial challenge and to log a recently challenge cache placed in Melbourne's western suburbs. In the company of fine bench of Ballarat caches we set off around 6:30 am and headed in the "general direction of Geelong where we all had plenty of targets to help us reach our goal. After much driving around we had 31 under our belts plush a few others, and we were off to Melbourne to sign the challenge cache. 15 hours later back in Ballarat feeling somewhat tuckered out but satisfied.
A nice quick grab by ST37E on this one thanks for the cache.

Interesting story and area. ST37E made the find after we had the information. Thanks vp4.
Caching today with McLookers, Glanville Girls, ST37E and wozzle68, we left home when it was still dark and it was dark again when we got home. We covered a lot of area but we finished our challenge.

We had a ripping good time at this cache. A quick find of the numbers at wp1, learned some interesting history, and then hightailed it off to GZ. There it was a nice quick find, which was good because it was getting hot now! Thanks for the history lesson.
Out catching up on a few caches before we ticked over to a new year. Good quick multi which made the find hard which muggles coming an going. Thanks vp4 for the multi
Out in Geelong for a few days caching with Western Australia's own KB! Doing a bit of a random sweep today and following our noses around town with Geodog Rosie along for the ride as well.
KB grabbed the numbers while I played ingress. At GZ I made the quick find.

We were in getting new tyres for our car nearby, and to waste time we decided to do some caching, this one was in walking distance, so we made our way over the the first waypoint and gathered all the required measuments, and done our maths and made our way over to GZ, it was fairly busy, but we waited for a clear break in the traffic to retrieve the cache, and we were soon on our way and back on the road before we knew it, TFTC.
Found! A quick stop to grab the numbers I needed and back to the car to work the co-ords. I was lucky enough to park only a few metres away and sat in the warmth of the car. A quick calculation and I was off a short drive away. Once again I was lucky to get a car park right where I needed to be. I had to wait for a jogging muggle to pass before I grabbed the cache.
Took nothing, Dropped off a TB

Found this one on a late night run with Frog_Lady and Alchey.....was a quick grab and sign as there was a very strong gas smell nearby.......TFTC
A nice and easy multi in an area we never have been before. Very interesting buildings and history. TFTC vp4.
Found this one today on my Geelong caching adventure. I had two attempts at the final for this one - the first time a muggle very unsociably parked down the road and kept their lights on shining directly at where I wanted to look for the cache. So I decided to adjourn at that time and returned later to find a clear field and the cache was found quickly that time. I signed the log but didn't swap anything.
Thanks for the interesting history and the cache vp4.

Rebel Acts and I had only a few hours tonight to grab as many caches as we could. Although we didn't have much time we decided to continue our run in Geelong and so we ended up here, A great short night, but a lot of fun. Thanks to all the CO's for their efforts. Nice GZ.
# 7840 Found on the Vic leg of our S.K.I.D.R.O. adventure,
while staying at Geelong for a few days.
Another afternoon drive around town for some more finds before the weather changes.
A nice short multi, not many muggles around and a reasonably quick find.
Thanks for the cache vp4,
Roostaman.

Few muggles about, but did have the boys in blue over the road preoccupied with booking someone. Made the grab and soon seen they'd already gone on their merry way.

I like a multi that works. I often shopped at this factory years ago but today I didn't enter at all just found the necessary numbers to locate the cache. Our carpet here also came from this factory.
Accurate co-ords made this a straightforward find.

Out for a morning ride hoping the weather would hold off and this was the first stop. Quickly collected the clues. I enjoyed reading about this historical place. Then back to GZ - watch those thorns!! After reconsidering my search location, I quickly found the cache without risking further injury. Thanks for a great multi vp4 .
Yay! One of my first orange ones! Done near on 200 green ones. Haha. Of course after the gorgeous weather we have had the last 2 days, today went to crap and then as soon as I arrived at the initial co-ords, it started raining! My luck. But I found the geocache. So it was all good again =] loved this. Took some photos. But I want everyone else to see for themselves. Cheers and thankyou for the cache. My friend helped via photo texting. I'll have to get my head around the maths/questions/letters & numbers/ riddles side of things! Hehe. Lots of little men for swaps! Different ones to choose from girls... And boys!
Thanks for the experience of my first multi. I really enjoyed it. I had to return at night to find the cache due to the fear of being muggled.
Had taken a photo of the plaque only a few days before noticing there was a cache here for a uni assignment and have finally managed to get the time to find it.
Not too sure wether the strong gas smell nearby was good or not but gave motivation to quickly sign log.

Nice easy bit of math and then cache was in hand. Day 4 of 31 days of caching
