This cache was on a wee track Id never been down before. It was nice and dry in its hidey hole. TFTC
Thanks Bitsprayer for the placement in this rather random spot..I would question the T rating
We weren't sure if we could drive very far down here in our motor home as part of the road is closed off. We gave it a go an found a convenient park at the Hall. Then the tricky little path which has partly washed away. I wasn't giving up though. Thanks for bringing us here bitsprayer
Having a fun day geocaching with busy paws and Geomum007. Cute wee walkway this cache all good and safe thanks Bitsprayer.

We are from Abilene, Texas, USA and have come to New Zealand to visit with a friend. We have gotten ten different Cache Types and will get the 11th Type (Webcam) when we go to Christchurch on Monday. Today Bitsprayer is taking us out to find more caches around Oamaru.
Thank you, Bitsprayer for placing this cache for all to find. We sign log sheets either as Love Cachers or LCers.
Driving over 50 miles to have...
Rusty barbed wire ripping through your clothes...
Curious rattlesnakes that come out of nowhere...
Itchy mosquito bites on every inch of your body...
A 40 mph wind gust blowing sand into your ears, nose and mouth...
Cactus needles getting stuck deep in your hands, arms and legs...
Thorny Mesquite trees scratching you up from head to toe...
Some or all of these things on a hike through 101° heat...
To sign your name or trade a toy...
SOUND LIKE FUN TO YOU?
It does to us, we're geocachers in West Texas! - {Taken from a Greater Abilene Association geocoin.}

Though I might nab the cache as I was parked nearby. All good with the cache. Thanks
Spent the last week in Timaru and Dunedin for U15 and U13 football tournaments. Now making our way back to Christchurch. Family keen to get home & not so keen to stop for caches....so only a couple found on a detour into Moeraki for a walk out from the Lighthouse to see some seals and maybe a penguin....
Stopped by the church for a looksee and this cache was nearby, rude not too....last cache of the drive back!

Very windy today so decided to do some caches along this walkway in the hope that it might be more sheltered. Thankfully it was! Some interesting reading along this path made for a pleasant walk. Found easily. TFTC.
#10,426. I have a big day planned picking out geotour caches on the north side of the harbour, up to Karitane and Moeraki and back to my accommodation in Dunedin. Plus grabbing a lot of adventure labs. The sun has come out and after some rather chilly December weather on this trip its forecast to reach 27 degrees today and I think they got that right. It was very hot today.
I arrived in Moeraki late in the day. After doing the two TMGT caches I went for a walk around the coastal path. Now heading back to Dunedin. But decided to grab just one more cache and this was it. Short walk down the path until I found the hint objects. The cache was quickly located. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache where found. Thanks Bitsprayer for placing the cache here.

Gosh. Am surprised anyone would think of putting a railway track along here! A nice quick find on an enjoyable walk before the rain came pelting down. Thanks! #7363
Great day out with Kerynz around Moeraki and surrounds getting some caches and taking in the wonderful views, great wildlife and an amazing blue cod lunch! Very windy but otherwise lovely day. TFTC.
A great day out with Frame Family. Lunched at the Fishwife - highly recommended. I headed for the wrong rocks. Mr FF found the cache before I could start looking. Tftc
Day 6 of a road trip around the South Island for us, and today was Moeraki to Owaka. We had a great stay in Moeraki - some great accomodation and a good experience at the pub. But we have some distance to travel today and goals for our first taste of the Catlins, so the first part of the trip was an exercise in restraint. Just the 3 caches out of Moeraki to the main road, then just 3 others before Dunedin. We got lunch there and walked around town to pick up some while RG indulged in some shopping, then headed south.
We visited Kaka Point, Nugget Point and Tunnel Hill before reaching our digs for the night.
A fantastic day. Great sights, awesome weather. Thanks all COs and sorry for the cut and paste. If there are no further comments the cache is in good shape.

Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a day in and around Moeraki, Shag Point and further south. The day started with a little rain early on, then ended with more, but in between we were lucky to have a dry day .
A bit slippery along here after all the rain. We found the walk interesting and enjoyed reading the information signs about the ill fated railway and the salt water baths. TFTC.

#19208. The last section of track was narrow and slippery, but we got to GZ OK and made a quick find. Right, time to head back to base for a cuppa and some lunch. TFTC.
Nice hiding spot went to the wrong pile of rocks first but found it eventually. Tftc
Twelvth day of a two week motorhome excursion, heading via the Coast to the lower South Island, then back up to Christchurch, picking up a few caches along the way – 11 today. A relatively short trip from Moeraki to Waimate today. Enjoyed this short local walk before leaving Moeraki Village. Picked up this cache and another nearby, both quick finds. #3403. TFTC.
Nice quick find, surely someone should have said the railway was a bad idea. So impressed with Moeraki
Found a parking area, and went for a walk in the rain to the cache. We had stayed overnight, and were now on our way back to Dunedin.
I had been here previously (19/10/19) with a group of Westies, but during that visit we had no extra time to find all the other caches that we had to ignore. So again with limited time, I found just a few.
So here I am on the track in the rain, thankfully this cache wanted to be found, so with log signed, I then made the decision to walk onto the next.
Love the history of the area, thanks Bitsprayer for hiding and maintaining this cache

On a road trip down south with the mates , primarily targeting TMGTs and high faves.
But of course. Got to check this out too.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Found on a sunny afternoon, after a lunchtime shower around the corner. Nice little walkway. Tftc
Found it! Have added a kiwi surprise to the cache. We have removed the travel bug.
Out for a drive to visit somewhere new and of course get a few caches. A quick walk down this track to get this one. TFTC
A quick and easy find. Thanks
Queens Birthday weekend. Lets celebrate with some time in Dunedin. Today we travelled south.

It's a wonder that the last bit of track hasn't been blocked off when you consider how risk averse our society is becoming. I enjoy this type of track when not too slippery. I headed for the wrong pile of rocks to start with.
Today we moved from O. to D., had many interesting experiences and found some caches. This one was not easy to find!
After checking out the views at the nearby lighthouse walk - we stopped near this track so I could grab 2 more before heading back to camp.
This was pretty close to the car - only 50 odd meters away down a deserted track.
Cache all is good nick - TFTC bitsprayer

Day 8 - of our (The Seagnoid, Toby, Zara, & myself) epic adventure around amazing Oamaru. Moeraki Boulders have been explored - but what else can we find down here?
A great little railway walk to explore with the added extra of banana passionfruit just ripening. Another snag and tag along this walk. Cheers

It is I don't know how many days since the Geofest yet Taybeedragon and I are still Geofesting. Today we are came down for a look at the Moeraki Boulders. Always a great place to visit.
I love railway walks. Reminds me of my series of 60 caches in Marlborough and the Manawatu. The bananana passionfruit is starting to ripen - I picked a few for breakfast tomorrow, but they did not last till then!
