Quick find in a great little spot! Had to wait for some uni muggles to walk past before I could make the grab. TNLNSL / TFTC
Open day at the Uni - took the geokids and made a side trip. Great view from here.
Found it! Made it difficult by searching in the dark! Also, couldn't see the tree stump
Visiting Macquarie Hospital today and took a stroll around the grounds. Nice to see a couple of new caches since last time. Picked up a TB here and hope to drop it in Mona Vale tomorrow.
Found this one this afternoon whilst out on the calendar gap and DT rating cache hunt which brought me back out to the Macq Uni. As CJ is away, I did this one solo on the way back. It is a colder day and It is chilly out here despite the sunshine, but walking and geocaching are great ways to warm up.
I wandered through the Uni from the train station and headed towards the GZ. There was plenty of muggles out on the grass nearby and at first I though it may be a difficult find. But the GZ was a little further away than expected and it was discreet for me to make the find. The coords are about 5 metres off by the GPSr, and perhaps the finder placed it with an iPhone. The cache was well hidden and I signed the new and replaced it as I found it. I discovered the TB in there.
Anyway, you've gotta love an excuse to get out and find a cache. Thanks jennae for your cache. SL TNLN TFTC

Dropped off Bear Down Under travel bug - sister bug (TB5J5K5) is in Canada so maybe someone heading overseas could take this with them
I was at Macquarie University to attend a function with Mr MR. As we were a bit early he took me to see the lake and fountain which did not exist when I studied at the university many years ago. Mr MR recalled finding this cache nearby so we had a look and, despite poor GPSr performance, eventually found it. It’s in a lovely spot. I took the TB. SL TFTC
First visit was in the dark and we couldn't find it. Came back in the day and found it easily.
Mq student here! Good hide but the hint was a bit misleading, the tree stump may have decomposed or may have been removed. Happy geocaching
Nice little cache. Although wasn't near a fallen tree stump, was near rocks. Picked up 'Tyler Belle' TB.
Second time looking for it. Found it straight away, don't know how I missed it the first time lol. TFTC
Just finished a training course and have been trying to get over here all day
Finally there is no one around except for a young woman playing a flute behind me some 50m or so
Dropped a TB
Enjoyed the serenity

Found the cache after work. Enjoyed the afternoon sun, the view on the lake and some sweet pears.
The hint is almost rotten. Anyway some new trees have been planted here. Watch your step!
Greetings from Germany.

Stuck in Sydney for the week and my first chance to find a cache without getting soaked. I enjoyed the nearby lake with only a softly pattering rain. Beautiful setting. Thanks for bringing me here twice. The reflections on the water are stunning with a good sunset. TNLNTFTC
Found while feeding the ducks some pellets. It's so peaceful here, no muggles to worry about. TFTC!
Yebo , looked for the stump and just turned around to see it hidden a bit further - sl, Took artavas gc and left bouncing ball - tftc

Bug drop. The cache has moved a metre or so since I last saw it, so the hint may not quite be so helpful. But the camo is definitely better.
Found on my first visit to the Uni. The place is deserted on a rainy Xmas Day afternoon. TFTC.
I used to play squash at the nearby courts every so often, so it was good to walk past on my way to this pleasant spot. There were a lot of muggles near the road, but not as many close to GZ. I was looking for objects matching the hint when I spotted the container and its camo (not matching the hint, but no issues there). I signed and replaced then raced back to the station, avoiding an additional 17 minute wait for the next late-running train. Thanks for the cache!
Found this with my daughter. Our first geocache. Yay! Lots of muggles around so we waited till no-one was around before signing and returning. TFTC.
Came in from Culloden Road, just following my phone's GPS. Led me fairly quickly to area around GZ, but couldn't quite find anywhere it could've been hidden. Walked around a bit and spotted the hide. Beautiful spot by the lake, quite a few students relaxing nearby. TFTC
There's a lot of paraphernalia and what seems like commercial material, so CO might want to check and see what isn't appropriate. Sorry I couldn't, a few students about.

Aah, daylight savings. Had time on way home to swing by and collect this cache (& pick up the clue for Bibliotheca Robotum - library not open at 6:30 on a Sunday... who'd have known).
iPhone was putting me past where common sense told me the cache was. Checked clue and one or two spots became of fleeting interest - no cache, though. Wandered back closer to where I thought it should be, spotted something that once may have fit the clue & saw what looked like camo. And it was.

Found it on a brilliant spring Sunday while out with evangt and pdbunce. Cache was found quite quickly. Some interesting artwork in this area. TFTC
Told you I'd be back! Glad to find it this time around, had trouble reassembling the camo though! Tftc
Had some time to kill waiting for Dad at his appointment so thought I'd come back to the old uni and have a look around.
Wow things have changed!
In my day there was no lake instead it was a swampy privet infested bush jungle that no one went near. Today a beautiful lake with a fountain, lots of grassland, plenty of birds enjoying the surrounds and bushland that is relatively weed free. Oh plus some sculptures.
Now the cache. At GZ - found nothing, seemed to be an old stump rotted away which may match some of the pictures. Oh well.
Walked towards the lake to sit and enjoy it and about 20 metres away stumbled on....a cache, out in the open, but all safe.
SL and took it back to GZ where I used some natural material to create some camo.
TFTC - enjoyed the visit.

Quick find while on a visit to campus for a supervisory meeting. Been a while since I've walked over this side! I don't think term has started again yet but there were quite a few people about, so we entered stealth mode and spent a few minutes watching the ducks. Dropped off Surprise Bug; hope he finds a new cacher to travel with soon! Thanks, jennae
It was a bit boggy and wet close by ... But it was a great thing to do after swimming lessons.
Lovely day with ducks and geese wandering by, brought me to a lovely side of the uni which I haven't seen before.
Out for a walk on a sunny Monday with minnie28. After a week of solid rain it was very wet underfoot. Was hilarious hearing all the squelching en route to GZ. Cache was in plain view when we got there. Perhaps discovered by someone not to sure about it's purpose. A laminated A4 piece on paper with a philosophical message was resting on the rock nearby. Perhaps someone else was bought here to ponder the meaning of life whilst taking in the spectacular views.
A lovely spot for a picnic and a nap.
TFTC.

A lovely day for a walk through the campus. Came across the end of the graduation ceremony. How lucky were they to get the sun after three very wet days! Nice outlook from GZ. Coordinates spot on. TNLN SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Did this cache on the morning before one of my MGSM sessions at Macquarie University. Lovely walk to cache. The cache was very exposed so covered it up a bit better.. Thanks for the cache.
Quite a fair bit of rubbish in the cache so cleaned it up. GPS coords are dead on. Great place to sit and relax
Great area of the uni. Nice and quiet this evening so was a quick and easy find
Right time to try for a cache on a uni campus is night, the weekend or today’s public holiday which compensated for my attempts at trying to navigate a way around the internal roadways. Even with a gps it was frustrating to get close to where I needed to at least park or find my way back out again! Once I finally stumbled upon the best parking spot, was able to walk directly across the open grassland and locate the traditional camo, barely even glancing at the gps to confirm I’d arrived.
Yes, a very nice spot near the lake. Students studying quietly nearby or canoodling on the grass. Several bird species all around, tasteful sculptures and, of course, that stunning fountain jet spraying a rainbow. I was on my own today (working at the uni) but I've had many pleasant moment here with the kids a few years ago.
The log book (#2) is full even to the back cover and the pen needs replacing.

Super easy find. Was a little far from the co-ords. Was in clear sight. Added some camo to it. Contents are wet though. Log was getting full.
I can't believe I did field work in that forest for that long and didn't notice the cache: I even remember putting a survey line right across the location!
The cache needs a new log and probably a better container: everything in the cache was damp and a little mouldy.

found with mad056, found cache lying on a rock in plain sight but it didnt look muggled so signed log and re-hid it
Upon finding the cache, we saw that it had been opened and was sitting in plain sight. No trackables inside or around. Everything is wet including the logbook which is full.
Can someone, please, check whether the Allunga travel bug is still in the box. We have not seen any sign of it since about 2 years.
What a lovely spot. Didn't take too long to find this one. thanks for bringing us here.
Easy find to keep the streak going just before the rain came in.
Walked across from Culloden Rd.
Great spot, very minimalistic but with lots of inspiration, would be ideal for study or a picnic.
Gets a favourite.

A quick find in a great location. I was very impressed by the extensive parkland, sculptures and water features adjacent to the hide. I attended Macquarie University way back in the seventies, it certainly didn’t look anything like this then. SL, took GC, TFTC.
