Must have downloaded the details before this was archived. Still managed it OK. Did feel we didn't need some questions as they gave the same answer i.e. two questions resulted in the answer 4, another the answer 1. Took "ear" left small car.
Due to another important item being removed from one of the waypoints it's time to archieve until I can redesign the cache to maintain a level of interest for all who attempt it in the future
All the clues were straight foward except onw which I almost missed as I wasn't looking for it. Very tricky.
Nice placement with the cache too, I knew this area but had never noticed the object.

Did all the WP's then as the day was coming to an end decided to do it the day after and promtply forgot about it. Duh!
Got something wrong doing this one as the co-ordinates ended up being obviously out of reach. Took a chance on it being a small error so visited the closest accessible place to my co-ords and took a bit of a look around. A-ha! found it, very lucky it wasn't a mistake in the more significant part of the co-ordinates.
An interesting tour, ended up spending quite a bit of time at the aviation museum which was quite fascinating and rather suprising as to what they have there.

And back soon I was. I'd actually checked out (briefly, must have been only a few cm away though) the cache hiding place when my co-ords had me in another paddock, so went back to check the numbers. Better luck the second time, an interesting read inside the cache. Thanks for the tour of the town.
Checked on the "Problem" question today, it appears the elves have been busy I have updated the listing to correct the problem with "D". Good Luck
Did all the WP's, except the number of pairs of shoes is bigger than a single digit. Perhaps I've read the question wrong, but Bitsprayer seems to think things have changed too. Worth a check up on that display perhaps? Thanks, I'll be back soon.
All work out spot on this time, but the shoe shop has changed the window display. lucky I could remember the right number from last time
Thanks Bitsprayer
Thanks Bitsprayer
hmmmmm..... when did the instructions change? we did a printout on 5/10 and are pretty sure we found all the clues, which put the final in the middle of a paddock. Using the changed instructions it appears to be in a more logical place... we will return........
Sorry Guys, It appears one of the locals became a little self concious She may return and if she does I will change the listing again, in the mean time you will need to add one to the number of naked people you see [^]
I see that the instructions have changed - There are fewer naked people in the park than I was supposed to find!!!
Next time.
Next time.
Found most of the clues with Team Chelmo. Found the rest with Hello Mrs' help! A nice little hide, that takes you to some historic and interesting places.

Not too sure how long this took us. We did a couple of clues after finding Lucky No 7 and a couple more after finding Twin Junction & Bill and Ben's Coastal Watch and the final clues with the K1ng after school during the week. Depending on how one looks at it, it could range from a couple of hours to a couple of weeks. lol. Great hunt - Great hide. TFTC TNLN SL
Collected the clues while on a day out caching in Ashburton with lytteltonwitch. We missed one of the clues and tried to guess what the answer was. We found the cache after walking around it several times and a far off voice told us to look a bit closer. Left a torch and and took the geocoin.
Picked up the clues as we were driving around doing other caches in-between.Missed one of the clues so we winged it and eventually found the cache.Missed it the first time but put my hand on it straight away when we had a second look.
Cha Ching, coin drop We were sent this coin to release in NZ and this seems the appropriate cache to drop it in to (now that our jeep racer has gone
1587. Well that was a real mission! We finally found the cache at 12.20pm after spending the best part of 4 hours on this cache. We visited all the museums - answered the questions - went to the spot - tried another spot - and another - but we just ended up in paddocks all over the place! So we went and had a cup of coffee to talk it over. We then decided there was nothing for it but to retrace our steps - which we did - but all our answers came out the same so what to do? Oh well, we knew the general area it was going to be in so we substituted a few numbers and off we went again. Something historical? After searching all along many roadsides we kept driving - mostly back-tracking around the places we had been earlier. We got to a spot that we had driven past then turned around from and thought it was worth a go as we had nothing to lose by this time. It must have been our lucky minute as a careful search revealed one cache - and a FTF as well!
We took the red jeep on its travels. Rodney wanted the geocaching patch - he'll have to return sometime with something suitable to put in the cache. We left 3 Sallies' sticks to show how much effort we had put into finding this cache!
Thanks
Iris & Rodney
