This one was doing our heads in....it was my 2nd try and hubbie came along this time to help in case I am blind....LOL....for way too long we were both blind then I MAF (messaged a friend) before they got back to me (and they were quick)....hubbie announced that if it had teeth it would of bitten him....he then pointed in the direction and made me find it telling me....nearly!...no...nearly!....OMG how did we miss it before. YAY a smiley at last. TFTC
We went to Mt Gambier for the day in Whitepaws9’s car. We enjoyed exploring the Town, Blue Lake and Sink Hole.
Found it nice and easy with Whitepaws9.
Thanks tiges for the cache

Found during a long weekend geocaching around Mt Gambier that saw an entertaining variety of caches and events, some caches as easy finds, others challenging, a few that required a hint from a kindly CO to locate, and one or two failed attempts that will need a return visit for another search! Not sure if I was being watched here??? Thanks for the cache tiges!
Found It!
Strange little spot. Had a bit of a look around and then just saw the cache right in front of me!

out with mogni after maintenance run on the whole rail trail. Found dodging rain showers on a cold wet day. Quick find. It also helped with the current " Mystery at the museum " souvenir challenge.
Well this took us way longer than it should have we chose Mother's Day to hunt for this one as there wasn't too many people around. Finally we can turn this into a found instead of just driving past wanting to find it.
Thanks for the cache, found, signed and replaced safe and sound as found.

Today was a day of Mount Gambier's parkrun of 5 km, sinkhole scuba diving, and squeezing in a few geocaches during the day. I focused my limited time on geocaches on past DNFs that I managed to convert to smileys.
I returned today after a prior DNF when I spent 20-30 min looking around this little alcove. A consequent finder gave me a tipoff to what I should have been looking for, and sure enough I had definitely considered that, but saw no evidence of that cache type around. Sure enough it was well blended with the camouflage around that I had totally overlooked the cache, and so made a find within a few minutes. Phew, nice hide, thanks tiges.

Hi there tiges.
This is the 2nd of 3 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache. We did find a drug stash though, so we dropped it and moved on.
Regards
Ian and Penny

Yay... attempt number 3 (twice today) and clearly I've lost my caching mojo today. After a PAF and armed with extra knowledge, I wonder how I missed something so obvious... Damn, had myself & the geo-fam fooled!

After a weekend of scuba diving of caves, I had some time before dinner to find some geocaches.
From reading some of the previous logs, I began my looking around this somewhat secret/private area, but no matter how detailed I thought I was, I still couldn't find it. After 20 min of searching, I gave up, so will watch this one for a future return!

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Had arrived at the motel for the night after working in the area and after checking in decided to head out for a wander. This cache was close so headed for it. Arrived in the area and immediately identifies the hide area but spent WAAAAAY too long looking for the wrong cache type. After reading a log or two and finding out that the cache is not a film container the find was made quickly. Log is damp but usable. Signed and replaced.

I was totally tricked trying to find this cache. Close to the tree the finding device became twitchy . I concentrated around there because I was somehow fixated on that area. The Driver got out of the car , just stood for a while, summing up the location then went and picked up a familiar type of hide in an area I had dismissed as being private property. Grrrrrr!
Headed to an event at the Mount with cabbos and caching as we go. Even with a previous finder I had no luck here. I felt uneasy being so close to someones backdoor just over that fence line.
Hope it's still here???

No longer a film canister but still there, thanks to a lovely lady who helped us. What a ROCKY find.
Reasonably quick find - there were a number of local muggles around so we needed to be a little careful. TFTC
Couldn't locate this one. Had the kidlets with me and all we found was some rubbish.
GPS is up to 9m out.. Photo definitely helped... Cool find but tricky.. But once found makes sense !! Dance Laugh Sparkle - Big Smiles
We found this one after extending our search area thanks to photo from a previous log and the cache was soon in hand, pity about the area as it seemed a little seedy. Thanks tiges for the hide.
In Mount Gambier with Happy Pants for a day of caching. After a short search, we had the cache in our hands. TFTC tiges.
It appears this cache has changed since a film cannister
Found a ROCKY hide but no cache
Lifted up another and found bison tube
Have joined the 2 together
Hope this is the way it is meant to be

I found what i thought would have been a great hiding spot but when i lifted it up it was empty. Either it is missing or i was completely off track. It would have been just the right size for a micro too.
Staying in Mt Gambier for a few days of relaxation with the hubby and geokids (age 4 & 6). Naturally I had to pick up a few caches in this cache filled town! I ditched the boys and went for a short drive to feed my cache addiction! A quick find here soon had me smiling. Many thanks for the cache
Heading down to Mount gambier with Aussie M & M for a flying visit to mogni for a Tupperware Party - as you do.
A surprise meeting with the cache owner at said tupperware party led me for a third attempt at this one. Success at last
Thanks tiges for placing this cache.

Was tricky for the kids.. We went away found some easier ones first then came back and bam!
But we can't see you! Spent a short time searching but had no luck. Will try again when back in the area. Thanks anyway.
In Mount Gambier for a caching weekend with Mrs. M, as Mr. M was away in Canberra working and perhaps getting a cache or two. Caught up with mogni and headed out for another great day of caches and laughs.
Two years on and attempt number 2. Still not able to find it. Not only you but the neighbour also saw me and made me jump when she hung over fence and wondered what I was doing. Time to move on and try again another time.
