Sorry - weather has been rather rubbishy so I've not got to check cache yet. Will try and get there tomorrow if the weather doesn't beat me.
Found the bag which used to contain the log book and pen, plus a couple of broken little toys around the place, but no sign of the container. Suspect it's been muggled so will contact owner. Cheers
This really did capture the kids imagination. My kids traded fairly and I signed the log. All good.
An easy find of a gigantic cache, not especially hidden. We're surprised it has survived so long. TFTC
Our biggest find for the day. Different from the Nanos we found today. Didn't have any toys to leave so left an English pound coin. TFTC
I normally have the kids with me, so places like these are easy to do, but today I looked both weird and suspicious. Was very glad to get out of sight and do the business. Also took me 10 minutes to get the damn seeds off my polar fleece pants! TFTC.
On way home after a lot on work on multis that didn't quite make it to the final cut (no time to visit final, or co-ords didn't work) it was quiet relief to find this cache considering we had no photos but managed to find cache. Great concept, times like this we need to hire a kid. (#342, 7/7)
Surprised one with so little direction on where to look was so easy - it's really just right where you'd look first.
Did not take anything as no children to give it to, but added a finger light and a mini tennis ball. Also had a play on the nearby equipment, which I'm sure caching partner WoolfieNZ will upload the photo from to her log!

Lovely idea for a cache,
I left a bright pink car and a
little porcelain china doll.
Didn't have any kids or grandkids with me, so will just post a photo of my cacher-buddy who is younger than I.
Thanks for a nice cache

#578 (16/24 on a Waitangi Day excursion to Ashburton). No muggles here on a roasting afternoon. Quick find by Troodles. TFTC.
Was very pleased to find this quickly as wasn't in the mood for thrashing around in the undergrowth. No swaps.
TFTC.

About time too! Your definition of "in line with" it not the same as what I translated it as. Never mind. 38th attempt lucky.
We had an hour left before our friends Don Keyotee and us departed in different directions after a geocaching weekend,so we did a 60 minute Geocache raid on Ashburton and found 10 in 60 minutes.
I Thought this was going to be a bit tricky but once their their was only one spot it could be and their it was a very full toy box great spot for kids
Not too difficult to find, but due to people at the location, was difficult to access. Visited this cache with prmarks and kids. He removed TB bus and transported to Auckland.
Had another go at this today... Still no luck, however, I am hoping there are enough clues in Hello Mrs' photo.
Had a look for this last night, but had not seen the photo. We looked in lots of places, but not the right one - until this afternoon! We blame the white snow last night hiding the white container. Found in about 1 minute today.
+ Yellow School Bus geocoin

Footprints all around GZ, so surprised to open the box and find no log for today.
Nice to see a big box.

Found in the snow and had to take a photo of the toys enjoying a brief escape from the cache. Picked up Geocoin left by 1rainbow.
Plenty of snow on the ground but that did not stop us looking for the cache. Found before our feet turned to ice. Left TFTC geocoin.
Checked and cache is still there, it has been moved half-a-meter since I last visited, but it is still there.
Didn't have access to the photo because of paperless caching. However, that's exactly where I thought it would be. Sadly, I wasn't sure enough to go digging, so didn't try too hard. Besides, I'm having a BAD CACHING DAY today!
Oh, excellent cache! Found by Eldest while on our way to start her in her University life at Canterbury. Loved the theme, and kept that in the trade (wabbit for robot squirrel). TFTC!

A quick find with a rushed logbook entry and departure due young muggles suddenly appearing from a backyard gateway to play on the central apparatus. + a one eyed, green monster toy I lifted from a cache about 4 years ago.
Took quite a while to find in the rain, and in the dark. Although it was hard to tell in the dark, it certainly would appear that the description in the hint is way out. And for us paperless cachers, a picture's not a lot of use either. TNLN.
A quickish find, glad I was able to download the picture out in the field. A good thing there were no kids around. Cheers Gav [1824]
Knew the park well... Took a bit of searching, WP approx 12m from actual cache, daughter gave up but after yesterday I was determined to find it...lol
- subway toy + electronic dinosaur toy.

Quick early morning find. Very pretty box with nice artwork, good thing it is well concealed.

Caching with rebeckingham palace, had fun on the spinny thing before finding cache. Used to live around the corner so knew of the park but had never set foot in it.

Nice secluded wee park, I would like to say that I didn't know it was here Dropped in with the Junior Chelmo's for a quick find and of course the compulsory play [^] Swapped a couple of toys before departing. Thanks Guys.
Quickly dropped in to check after a couple of comments about it being visible. Found it nicely hidden - no issue. Grabbed Thrill Of The Hunt coin. Very nice.
Middle of a weekday meant to kids to worry about. Didn't take long to find it, left Mustang Sally TB from up Nelson way.
The large uncamo'ed box stuck out like the proverbial. Maybe you should at least colour it camo(brown and green) - or it won't last long!! No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(954)
What a large box. As our little boy is still too young to play with toys we TNLN.
1740. Would have been good to have our grand-daughter with us to do this cache! However no-one seemed to be taking any notice of us - not even the cacher who drove away as we pulled up! That was good thinking to manage to hide such a large container in an area such as this. Well done.
Thanks

Didn't take long to find but then again I had the incentive that it was about to rain. Took small car and placed brand new McD toy as well as The Thrill of the Hunt Geocoin.Edited to correct the date.[This entry was edited by Kiwi Nomad on Thursday, October 04, 2007 at 12:23:31 AM.]
First cache of our evening expedition.K1ngbobby beat me to the cache! You can't keep that 11 year old away from 'em - it's out of the car and VROOOM!TNLNSLCheers,Blarghster.
Takes a kid to find a cache in a playground - even in the dark. TFTC + car - badge.
After quite a search managed to find it as was about to give up. Not in line with anything I could fathom. Nice to find such a bigee though. Cheers. No swaps.
Found the cache, it can be seen, it might pay to give it some better camo, as it's a place we kids play, number one child made good use of the toy in the middle of the park while i looked.
Many Thanks Bitsprayer

Yup, one for the kids - big kids in this case. Not recommended in the dark - there was cold fingers, there was blood, there were poked eyes and there were prickles. But we found it.
Assume First to Find (yay for number 230 for us).
Removed a heap of trash - this cache will be good for that. Interestingly, the house immediately over the fence (through the gate) was where we lived originally in Ashburton! What fun.
Took Hawaii micro - will get a photo for this little buddy. Took no toys but left 3 pixar toys for the next cachers (include Bruce the shark). T4TC.
Actually I should add its not as bad as I seem to have made it sound - just don't cache the way we do....
