Couldn't find first container. Managed to find actual cache and it was smashed needs replacing
Nice tribute to the Border Collie, sad about the state of the cache at GZ, needs urgent attention.
Aww... its looking a bit sad... and I didn't see the logs before I completed this one.. had already done part one. Thought I would finish it off.. Needs some TLC.
TFTC.. Hope to visit again and wack my sexy new stamp in your spanking new log book

No joy with WP1. I think it would be worth a check.
I know it is only 2 DNF s but it has not been found for a wile and not every body logs DNF s.
TFTC.

TFTC.
I logged a DNF for my lunch time search. I don't like DNF s.
I read a few logs and worked out that some people have bypassed WP1 and gone straight to GZ.
I had another look after work. I still had no luck with WP1 but I did find the cache. But....
It is in need of replacing. I will post a Needs Maintenance log next.
See the photos.
I could not sign the log. There is no log to sign.

Initial coords led me to a tree with a few likely nano holes but couldn't find anything....
Cache is slightly water logged. Could do with a bit of drying out. Geodogs loved the run. TFTC

Finally returned to this after first trying back in 09 when the first WP was missing. Today was a nice quick find. A quick drain of the water pooled in the cache, then sign then off we went finally glad to put this smiley on the map so close to home.

Decided to take advantage of the clear and sunny morning to go on a multi cache hunt.
A nice successful morning with 4/4 finds.
WP1 is a brilliant little hide and had me looking for a minute or two.
At GZ the find was made nice and quick just the way i like it.
The container when I opened it was almost half full of water from the rain but luckily the log book was high and dry.
I did drain the container but I think the lid is a bit broken so it may fill up again.
A great little multi in a nice park.
Cheers and happy caching.

a good day for geocaching - brief light showers then sunshine. no ants. MOF (male old fogy) found first clue. really chuffed. GZ cache needs new cammo. TN left dinosaur. TFTC
Has this cache not been found for 4 months? I am surprised. It actually was not so hard, the WP1 took me a few (many) laps of the coordinates before I located it. Reminded me a lot of a similar tree hide I found in the Gold Coast. When I remembered that it became a bit easier. Took a little fiddling to remove.
Took Gingerbread man TB to travel for a while. Probably should have dropped my other TB, but there's always tomorrow.

TFTC! A very nifty first part and then GZ was quickly found which was just as well as it really was raining
A clever hide the first waypoint! A peaceful place with dogs playing ball with their owners. TN, L Roo. TFTC.
A nice easy find this afternoon with a friend who just signed up today. Log book was damp and emptied cache of water.

Thanks Squizzie19 for alternative cache - it was a good camo.
Surrounded by family IPL day so seemed to go well camo-ed.

Went back for another try and this time we were lucky. Found 1st waypoint and marched to the find. No ants today but it was starting to rain. Sorry hint didnt help.????
I've been here a couple of times before, but today was met with success. Thanks for the cache Foxzami.
An easy find and muggle free.
No ants around today as ground wet.
Camo great at Waypoint 1 and an easy find at GZ.

I couldn't get near WP1 without arousing attention from a muggle watering his lawn so I went to where I thought the cache might be and found it quite quickly.
Thanks

Found cache on second visit. It is always a bit tricky when there is a dog barking just over the fence, at the leaves rustling
as we are searching around. Luckely I didn't need to rummage around in the ivy, as I am allergic to ivy. I come up with welts on my hands and wrists when I handle it. I have replaced the initial coordinate location with a small container with coords for GZ. Thanks for the cache.

No wp1 but like all others before me. Only one likely place TFTC took slinky left gecko
As all the previous people have mentioned the first waypoint isn't there but the most likely spot was the right one so still got the find. TFTC
As with previous logs we did not find WP1 but had a widened search until we found GZ and the cache...... And the Ants although seen bigger ones today in our travels........ TFTC
It has been nearly a year now since anyone has found this without just guessing GZ as they all report that WP1 is missing. Is the owner going to check and fix this?
I have no idea how I missed this last time. I'm sure that I looked there. I plead temporary insanity.
Also, based on the last few logs I went and had a look at where I remembered finding the first waypoint last time, but couldn't see it - so I suspect that it's gone.
TNLN - Thanks Foxzami!

Found on the second attempt. Nobody there to watch in the middle of the day. Just simply went there and started searching random spots, while looking for an inch-ant nest. Luckily none was found! The cache is in good nick, but we're fairly certain the first WP is gone. TFTC.
I finally found it!
I couldn't locate the nano clue but, after a previous finder told me of a couple of places that I wouldn't find it, I was able to locate the cache.
I couldn't locate the nano clue but, after a previous finder told me of a couple of places that I wouldn't find it, I was able to locate the cache.
Judging by the string of DNFs and some of the comments, I'd say this needs to be checked by the owner or a previous finder.
I had another go at this one, with the same result as last time, no luck, I did however find a nice nest of inch ants, on opposite side to where WP1 coordinates pointed me.
I am wondering if the people across the street have a collection of nano caches. found plenty of places where it could be, but did not find WP1...
At least my Garmin Nuvi 765 is working to point me in the right direction.

With some interested muggle activity going on today, we couldn't get a good search going, and the little searching we DID do failed to uncover either part of the cache.
Crikey!! I would love to know where the micro container at the waypoint was hiding [:o]
I marched off without a clue

Searched for ages around the tree for the NANO!!!! Then gave up and found gz instead. TNLN TFTC
After my third attempt I eventially found it. Looked for the cache during the hot temperatures (~43 degrees C), which helped keep the muggles inside.

Nailed it this time.
The man in his PJ's were there again. This time cleaing his car. Was he using a hose [?]
I parked on the other side of the park and sneaked up to the famous tree. He never saw me.
I then retreated in a bee line for the other famous spot.
I drove off slowly so as my snorkle did not gurgle. You have to watch your speed in diesels. Just a bit under marching pace does the trick.
He never even turned his head.[8)]
Clear skies from TeamAstro
Second time I didn't find it! That nano is hidden extremely well. Maybe the ants marched off with it...
I went marching. And there were ants. And there was a bloke across the road in his PJ's. He put the bin out in his PJ's. Then he went in. Then he came out and put the car away in his PJ's. Then he decided to watch me secretly through his lace curtains. However, his PJ's were bright blue and they made good contrast through the curtains.
I went marching off. Though gave the tree a good workout without success. Couldn't see any ant holes either.
Clear skies Foxzami from TeamAstro.
Ended up doing the same as JadedPtimist here. Found a couple of likely spots but the nano beat me. A bit of 'thinking like a cacher' turned up the main cache. TNLN TFTC
PS I will return to find that pesky nano.

Finally got this one. The nano still eludes me, but I went looking in possible spots for the cache and came up with the goods. TNLN, TFTC.
[AT LAST!!!!!! On of my most challenging and frustrating caches!! Finally found Nano after a hint, and when told to look elsewhere for final, that put a ]distinct BENT upon things and I found it, pretty much where GPS told me. The obvious is once again NOT the obvious!!
I did a check today and the nano is still hidden in the same place. The cache is still in the proper location.
Found WP1, which is quite tricky and easy to overlook. So glad I didn't have to rise to the occasion. Just wish I'd found out sooner. *S*
Like Winterdragon we found the plumbing 'container' but not the cache! Not sure I like GZ's so close to private homes. Could get poisoned, or even shot!
BTW Daylight was no better. LOL!

Found the waypoint, its still there . Although it was rather tricky extracting it.
But no joy at the final. I did find an interesting container, but it was full of water, and connected to the plumbing. Maybe I'd do better in the daylight.

spent about 30 minutes looking for the first waypoint "test tube" and didnt find it. I looked everywhere!
and fun enough, it was actually raining, just like the clue!

I looked for ages for this first way point and just could not find it. How many places could it be on that spot?
Find 248 without a GPS at 4.00pm
Been looking for this one for months.
Was told the general GZ at the Christmas picnic but couldn't find it.
Eventually found the nano clue ( by the way it is still there)
Checked the co ords with Google Earth and I was looking in the right GZ.
I got told to look ELSEWHERE and there it was thanks sig.
Left $100 key ring
Thanks Foxzami for the extended challenge.

Searched for first waypoint for a good 10 mins ( in the dark with mini-mag ) so assuming it is there, might have to go back in daylight. I note it hasn't been logged in 4weeks, so could be missing.
Found quickly after finding the first WP. More worried about the muggles walking dogs and that live locally than finding the cache.

Had found the first waypoint previously and was in the area again, so thought it was about time I knocked this off my "close to work" list.
Has only taken four visits.
A lovely warm afternoon so all the curtains were drawn and a tip from some ANTartic friends helped make this a quick, inconspicous search today. ... and then off I finally marched, singing an ANThem. Quite relieved now that this one will nolonger ANTagonise me.
Nice camo work.

Teamhurtle: The 2nd/final cache has been there all along, so you can still go find that (assuming you still have the waypoint in your GPS.)
The 1st part of the cache presumably went missing sometime between 10 days ago and yesterday.

Found while out for a ride with Foxzami and Justcameron, yeah i had a little help from the cache owner and i got it in the end.
2nd time here. This time we got the 1st WP! Couldn't find in the dark, although we did find a spot that looked suspiciously like a cache depression! Alas...
PS: Foxzami, you 'find' your own cache too? hehehehe

Found WP1 this time. That really is a micro cache, and quite well hidden. Luckily I felt it.
Noted final coords and went to grab GPS and punch them in. Arrived at GZ only to find a muggle had decided the nearby seat was a good place for a rest and a smoke - so headed off to two Zorks.
Returned after Zorks and then spent a little while searching, but didn't find anything, other than the spot where Nomad Penguin put her flipper in.
Will return yet again one day .....

Found this one quite easily this time just a slight problem with a muggle talking on the phone not far from ground zero and we had to wait until she left. will move the coin to another cache tomorrow. Cheers. MODU.
Found after dark with some information I picked up on the weekend. If you hang around with these guys for 5 days something is going to rub off.
need to replace 1st waypoint, though it was there for the firest couple of no founds (i checked)
Didnt find anything at WP1, didnt see the kid behind the curtains either, but did get some attention from a muggle with a dog who wondered what we had stuck up the tree. In the end decided to move on and look for another cache and we will wait until someone finds this one. MODU.
Nothing at WP1 for me either. My excuse is I did not have the notes so was not sure what I was looking for. That is a very soft excuse. I shall return.
Found between passes of the council guy on his slasher. Isn't it convenient how similar a mobile phone & a GPS looks [^]

Found the first WP a little too easily [8] then marched off to GZ. I took the hint a little too literally and put my hand, well, that would be giving it away .
Took a little searching but we got there in the end.
Thanks again Foxzami
