Sadly the cache was full to the brim with water! I drained the cache. Luckily the logbook was dry.

I had a morning to fill before heading to the airport and flying to Melbourne for the weekend. I ended up having a nice walk in and around Sturt Gorge and looking for some caches. This was one on the caches found on the walk. TFTC stanleys
Counting down cache finds to 4000. I agree with previous finder. Great hide but protect your eyes. I was still wearing my glasses but their is a covid face protector which would be ideal. (See pic). Left mine in car
Thank you for placing it for us to find. Thank you for contributing to the geo map and maintaining when required. TFTC

Parked at gate 23 on Broadmeadows Ave. and after a short walk this oldie was a quick find in an obvious spot. Now to head downstream a bit for the next one.
Thanks to stanleys for putting out this cache for me to find.

Thanks for the cache Stanley’s. Nice location. I finally found the path going by. Cache in good condition
Started on the wrong side of the track with this one but made the find quickly once I rectified that. Took TB, what cool one.

I started 2020 with some improbable caching goals that only lasted until mid February.
Then came Covid-19 and now caching will have to take a back seat or be socially responsible.
No more than one or two people and target caches that haven't been visited in some time.
So today it was just Anymules and me going for long walks in Sturt Gorge and surrounds getting caches nobody has visited for a while.
Time for our first longer walk for the day. [^] second cache stop. There are tracks funning everywhere through here but few are marked ion the maps. Choosing the right one to follow was at times hit and miss but we made it to GZ where Anymules made another quick find. Better lift my game me thinks.
***Thanks stanleys for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

After cleaning up most of this area on either side of the gorge I still had this to find, today I made my way down the tracks to find myself at HZ, after a short search I found this one tucked away.

Found on a rather warm afternoon but with a slight breeze. Luckily the hive of bees about 5 meters away was focused on their work and not the intruder into their area.
Found my there Aussie branch of Dobie's Pride/GronwoldFamily. TFTC!

Just before lunch, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed out for a short walk around Sturt Gorge and visiting a cluster of traditional caches. I had only been out this way on the night before, and despite the heat, there were some cool winds that were coming through, and between that and the trees and nice shade along the river, I thought I would make a quick return. We made the walk down to Sturt River Dam, and then all the way around to the river to see the various rock formations, before making our way back up to the car, and going home via a bakery. A nice temperature day to be outdoors.
A cache a little off the beaten track, as we made our way down and then down again a roo track. Once close enough to GZ, we guessed the hiding spot, and sure enough, it contained the cache. I couldn't find a clue though, so is that still needed? Otherwise, the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks stanleys for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Nice walk and tricky cache. We blew a few bubbles with the bubble mixture and were on our way again. TFTC
Great view thanks for bringing me here. Walked down further to get a better look. Did not see the clue for the series?

Lovely quiet spot with a great view of the water. I walked down the track to take a closer look. Tftc.
Definitely a more challenging cache due to the terrain. Great views on the way up.

Out for a Sunday walk with the geo-pup, took us a bit of meandering to get to this one, the paths are poorly marked and don't match Google maps [B)]
Not sure what the clue is for the final, there wasn't much in there? TFTC

With the week of work and weather being cooler I took the chance to get out and find the few gorge caches I hadnt found yet. The cache was found in good condition, but I didnt see any clue?
Came to Sturt Gorge this afternoon to grab a few caches and this was the next on my list.
I had a lovely walk along wet paths with the plants looking very green and lush. [^] There had been a brief shower of rain which just added to the experience. Followed the path along and made my way to GZ and found the cache easily. Signed the log and looked for the clue but could not find it anywhere, I'm not sure it is still there. [?]

Had a lovely walk in the park this arvo with the wattles in full bloom. Nice views. TFTC stanleys!
Have found this geocache. How ever it was scattered and contents all wet. Needs replacing.
Its boxing day so what else would we be doing than looking for hidden boxes to leave our mark in.
Great spot haven't been through here for years.

Took a bit of hunting around - the coords were about 6m off for me (possibly due to my phone) but eventually found it on a rainy Sunday morning after a heatwave - was good to get out for a stroll around Sturt Gorge to knock off a few caches - signed log.
found it with rod81w, walking from cache to cache isn't the easiest way and hence forgot to grab clue, we will be back for that
Returned with sir_spectre after work found it quite easily but forgot to grab the clue, looks like a return visit is in order.

Grabbed this one finally. Not where I was looking last time. Found with the assistance of allister w. TFTC.
Similar to others recently, spent a good deal of time scouring this area. The location really needs to be checked by the owner.
Really struggled with this....spent about 1/2 hour searching to no avail. Reading the comments those who have found it suggest widening the search.....might come back with wikkid76 and allister w for another look
Out and about with *Cache or Check*.
Couldn’t find this one but did find my sunglasses after losing them. That’s something.

Rummaged around for quite a while looking in every possible nook and cranny in a 20m radius, all to no avail. A PAF told us we were doing the right thing, but nothing was located.
How are we going to get the final coordinates to the Fallen log now?

Took us awhile but we persisted as we need the clue for the series! TFTC Stanley's
Mr Tardis went for a nice walk through a part of the Sturt River park that I'd not visited before. I found the cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
I then walked to the dam and had a look around. Quite an interesting place, there is some caches over the other side, I'll have to come in another way and get those one day.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache stanleys.

A nice walk around Sturt Gorge Recreation Park with the geodog! The iPhone app had us here and there but searched a little bit wider and geomum soon had the cache. Signed log, noted the clue & replaced.

Found after resurfacing from the depths of Dam Stupid. Enjoyed the walk to the cache, viewing the dam wall from another aspect. Collected the clue, in a long-running saga to complete the series. Thanks for the cache stanleys!
Oh there you are! Coords I found to be a bit out, but widening my search a few meters helped!
First sunny, calm day in a week had Featherlump and me out hunting caches.
It's great being out in the bush so close to suburbia.
Thanks stanleys for the cache.
