Sorry cachers, It has been difficult keeping this cache from going walk-about. Hopefully it will be reactivated soon as one of the many caches along the Outback Way.
If anyone is heading toward Mt Ebenezer Roadhouse early in 2010 and would like to help, please let me know.

Sorry cachers, but it appears that Deadly Dinner has been muggled once again. Unfortunately good hiding places are few around the roadhouse. If someone is willing to reinstate the cache near the established coordinates, I would be very grateful as it may be a few months before I can get to it. Thanks and regards,

Didn't get to log this one until 5/10 only to discover it was unavailable. Like those before us, no luck.
GZ also lead us to the place behind the fence and there was a place, a cache could have been hidden, but we couldn’t find it. The roadhouse’s owner knew about it but not about the real hiding place or if someone has taken it away.
After searching inside and outside the fence we didn’t found anything, although there where no muggles disturbing us. If the box is still there it must be hidden very well and not accessible for wheelchairs.
Only just getting to log our finds from long trip through outback but also could not find this one. We too searched and even went in the back area.
No muggles about when we visited here on the 5 August. GPSr put us just beyond the fence into an apparently private area. I figured the actual location was on the public side of the fence. I found a few likely cache spots in the near vicinity but no cache. We came back through here on the 11 August and had another look with fresh eyes to look for the cache but again no luck. Maybe it has been muggled?
Despite no find I did appreciate the cache as this was a good place to stop on the drive. On our second stop we did by some art from the locals.

Had a quick look but there were 3 tourist buses at the roadhouse, so a few people were around, found where it may have been put the 'alcove' was empty.
We managed to duck in and find this cache in between buses. we enjoyed the gallery and Lady Morris bought a T Shirt. TNLN but TFTC

Found on the way from the Olgas to Stuarts Well. Dropped in to take a look at the gallery. TFTC.
Central Australia Trip. 16. I spent a peaceful night here with a great dinner. Lots of people out in the free camping area, and none of them came in for dinner! That's a bit sad. I grabbed this one first thing in the morning after the locals kept me away in the evening. Thanks.

Had a quick browse inside and the went and found the cache.
Loved the ant artwork on one of the poles.

On this day we replaced the cache with a small container and log book ( a sad log made of cut up paper stappeled together). I am claiming this as a find as we had looked many times and then after contact with the owner and confirmation that we were looking in the right place it was confirmed missing in action. A memorable addition during a full on day of geocaching on the way to Uluru and Kata Tjuta on a swelteringly hot day. Where is the Logbook? TNLN. TFTC
Langlurch and I slept a night in our camper at this location. In the morning we find the cache within a few minutes. TFTC!
Although we stayed for the night near the roadhouse, this was not due to the fact that we are very bad geocachers. On the contrary - in the early morning light the cache was found quickly.

Quick Stop on our way back to Alice Springs. Same thing with the cache Desert Oasis - do the owner of the roadhouse know about it?! We don't like to sniff around on private ground. Logbook is missing, so it needs some maintenance.
The Art Gallery is really nice though and the roadhouse perfect for a rest or an overnight stay!

Not found in spite of intensive search. Is the cache still there? Interesting location anyway - TFTC
Regretfully this cache has gone walk-about. Thanks to all who reported the missing cache. It will be resited and reactivated in October. way-finder
This cache is gone along with its hiding place.
This really is a great location with the best aboriginal art gallery we saw in our travels including Alice Springs and Yalara(Uluru).
Hopefully another Territorian can place a cache here.

Going by here soon but with 5 DNFs and no finds in 9 months we are concerned the cache may be gone. Any chance of organizing a maintenance visit?
Like the others, couldnt find.
I'd say gone with the prunings!
Needed to stop for a drink anyway.

Recent pruning of Oleander bushes has occured here
The one at GZ is now less than a meter high and very exposed at the base!! I'm certain it has gone walkabout as well!

Found with snockley on holidays. Had a great nights stay here camping outback for nix - did make a donation to the RFDS in lieu of paying overnight camping costs (and no doubt a contribution attached to the full tank of diesel I bought from here in the morning). Easy cache (watch for muggles). Took emu and left temprature carabiner Thanks for the cache!
Found while on holidays with brother and his family.
